Il fit de plus en plus ce qui est mal aux yeux de l'Eternel, afin de l'irriter.(FR) 6 ׃33 וְהוּא֩ הֶעֱבִ֨יר אֶת־בָּנָ֤יו בָּאֵשׁ֙ בְּגֵ֣י בֶן־הִנֹּ֔ם וְעוֹנֵ֤ן וְנִחֵשׁ֙ וְֽכִשֵּׁ֔ף וְעָ֥שָׂה א֖וֹב וְיִדְּעוֹנִ֑י הִרְבָּ֗ה לַעֲשׂ֥וֹת הָרַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לְהַכְעִיסֽוֹ׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:6 He made his sons pass through the fire in the valley of Ben-hinnom; and he practiced witchcraft, used divination, practiced sorcery and dealt with mediums and spiritists. He did much evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him to anger.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:7 ============ 2Ch 33:7 And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:7 He put also the carued image, which he had made, in the house of God: whereof God had said to Dauid and to Salomon his sonne, In this house and in Ierusalem, which I haue chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my Name for euer,(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:7 Il plaça l'image taillée de l'idole qu'il avait faite dans la maison de Dieu, de laquelle Dieu avait dit à David et à Salomon, son fils: C'est dans cette maison, et c'est dans Jérusalem que j'ai choisie parmi toutes les tribus d'Israël, que je veux à toujours placer mon nom.(FR) 7 ׃33 וַיָּ֕שֶׂם אֶת־פֶּ֥סֶל הַסֶּ֖מֶל אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשָׂ֑ה בְּבֵ֣ית הָאֱלֹהִ֗ים אֲשֶׁ֨ר אָמַ֤ר אֱלֹהִים֙ אֶל־דָּוִיד֙ וְאֶל־שְׁלֹמֹ֣ה בְנ֔וֹ בַּבַּ֨יִת הַזֶּ֜ה וּבִֽירוּשָׁלִַ֗ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר בָּחַ֙רְתִּי֙ מִכֹּל֙ שִׁבְטֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל אָשִׂ֥ים אֶת־שְׁמִ֖י לְעֵילֽוֹם׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:7 Then he put the carved image of the idol which he had made in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, "In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen from all the tribes of Israel, I will put My name forever;(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:8 ============ 2Ch 33:8 Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:8 Neither will I make the foote of Israel to remooue any more out of the lande which I haue appointed for your fathers, so that they take heede, and do all that I haue commanded them, according to the Lawe and statutes and iudgements by the hande of Moses.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:8 Je ne ferai plus sortir Israël du pays que j'ai destiné à vos pères, pourvu seulement qu'ils aient soin de mettre en pratique tout ce que je leur ai commandé, selon toute la loi, les préceptes et les ordonnances prescrits par Moïse.(FR) 8 ׃33 וְלֹ֣א אוֹסִ֗יף לְהָסִיר֙ אֶת־רֶ֣גֶל יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל מֵעַל֙ הֽ͏ָאֲדָמָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר הֶֽעֱמַ֖דְתִּי לַאֲבֹֽתֵיכֶ֑ם רַ֣ק ׀ אִם־יִשְׁמְר֣וּ לַעֲשׂ֗וֹת אֵ֚ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֣ר צִוִּיתִ֔ים לְכָל־הַתּוֹרָ֛ה וְהַֽחֻקִּ֥ים וְהַמִּשְׁפָּטִ֖ים בְּיַד־מֹשֶֽׁה׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:8 and I will not again remove the foot of Israel from the land which I have appointed for your fathers, if only they will observe to do all that I have commanded them according to all the law, the statutes and the ordinances given through Moses."(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:9 ============ 2Ch 33:9 So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to err, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:9 So Manasseh made Iudah and the inhabitants of Ierusalem to erre, and to doe worse then the heathen, whome the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:9 Mais Manassé fut cause que Juda et les habitants de Jérusalem s'égarèrent et firent le mal plus que les nations que l'Eternel avait détruites devant les enfants d'Israël.(FR) 9 ׃33 וַיֶּ֣תַע מְנַשֶּׁ֔ה אֶת־יְהוּדָ֖ה וְיֹשְׁבֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת רָ֔ע מִן־הַ֨גּוֹיִ֔ם אֲשֶׁר֙ הִשְׁמִ֣יד יְהוָ֔ה מִפְּנֵ֖י בְּנֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:9 Thus Manasseh misled Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to do more evil than the nations whom the Lord destroyed before the sons of Israel. (nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:10 ============ 2Ch 33:10 And the LORD spake to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:10 And the Lorde spake to Manasseh and to his people, but they would not regarde.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:10 L'Eternel parla à Manassé et à son peuple, et ils n'y firent point attention.(FR) 10 ׃33 וַיְדַבֵּ֧ר יְהוָ֛ה אֶל־מְנַשֶּׁ֥ה וְאֶל־עַמּ֖וֹ וְלֹ֥א הִקְשִֽׁיבוּ׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:10 The Lord spoke to Manasseh and his people, but they paid no attention.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:11 ============ 2Ch 33:11 Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:11 Wherefore the Lorde brought vpon them the captaines of the hoste of the King of Asshur, which tooke Manasseh and put him in fetters, & bound him in chaines, & caryed him to Babel.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:11 Alors l'Eternel fit venir contre eux les chefs de l'armée du roi d'Assyrie, qui saisirent Manassé et le mirent dans les fers; ils le lièrent avec des chaînes d'airain, et le menèrent à Babylone.(FR) 11 ׃33 וַיָּבֵ֨א יְהוָ֜ה עֲלֵיהֶ֗ם אֶת־שָׂרֵ֤י הַצָּבָא֙ אֲשֶׁר֙ לְמֶ֣לֶךְ אַשּׁ֔וּר וַיִּלְכְּד֥וּ אֶת־מְנַשֶּׁ֖ה בַּחֹחִ֑ים וַיַּֽאַסְרֻ֙הוּ֙ בַּֽנְחֻשְׁתַּ֔יִם וַיּוֹלִיכֻ֖הוּ בָּבֶֽלָה׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:11 Therefore the Lord brought the commanders of the army of the king of Assyria against them, and they captured Manasseh with hooks, bound him with bronze chains and took him to Babylon.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:12 ============ 2Ch 33:12 And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:12 And when he was in tribulation, he prayed to the Lorde his God, and humbled him selfe greatly before the God of his fathers,(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:12 Lorsqu'il fut dans la détresse, il implora l'Eternel, son Dieu, et il s'humilia profondément devant le Dieu de ses pères.(FR) 12 ׃33 וּכְהָצֵ֣ר ל֔וֹ חִלָּ֕ה אֶת־פְּנֵ֖י יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהָ֑יו וַיִּכָּנַ֣ע מְאֹ֔ד מִלִּפְנֵ֖י אֱלֹהֵ֥י אֲבֹתָֽיו׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:12 When he was in distress, he entreated the Lord his God and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:13 ============ 2Ch 33:13 And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord was God.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:14 ============ 2Ch 33:14 Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:14 Nowe after this he built a wall without the citie of Dauid, on the Westside of Gihon in the valley, euen at the entrie of the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it very hie, and put captaines of warre in all the strong cities of Iudah.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:14 Après cela, il bâtit en dehors de la ville de David, à l'occident, vers Guihon dans la vallée, un mur qui se prolongeait jusqu'à la porte des poissons et dont il entoura la colline, et il l'éleva à une grande hauteur; il mit aussi des chefs militaires dans toutes les villes fortes de Juda.(FR) 14 ׃33 וְאַחֲרֵי־כֵ֡ן בָּנָ֣ה חוֹמָ֣ה חִֽיצוֹנָ֣ה ׀ לְעִיר־דָּוִ֡יד מַעְרָבָה֩ לְגִיח֨וֹן בַּנַּ֜חַל וְלָב֨וֹא בְשַׁ֤עַר הַדָּגִים֙ וְסָבַ֣ב לָעֹ֔פֶל וַיַּגְבִּיהֶ֖הָ מְאֹ֑ד וַיָּ֧שֶׂם שָֽׂרֵי־חַ֛יִל בְּכָל־הֶעָרִ֥ים הַבְּצֻר֖וֹת בִּיהוּדָֽה׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:14 Now after this he built the outer wall of the city of David on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entrance of the Fish Gate; and he encircled the Ophel with it and made it very high. Then he put army commanders in all the fortified cities of Judah.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:15 ============ 2Ch 33:15 And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:15 And he tooke away the strange gods and the image out of the house of the Lord, & all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the Lorde, and in Ierusalem, and cast them out of the citie.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:15 Il fit disparaître de la maison de l'Eternel les dieux étrangers et l'idole, et il renversa tous les autels qu'il avait bâtis sur la montagne de la maison de l'Eternel et à Jérusalem; et il les jeta hors de la ville.(FR) 15 ׃33 וַ֠יָּסַר אֶת־אֱלֹהֵ֨י הַנֵּכָ֤ר וְאֶת־הַסֶּ֙מֶל֙ מִבֵּ֣ית יְהוָ֔ה וְכָל־הַֽמִּזְבְּח֗וֹת אֲשֶׁ֥ר בָּנָ֛ה בְּהַ֥ר בֵּית־יְהוָ֖ה וּבִירוּשָׁלָ֑͏ִם וַיַּשְׁלֵ֖ךְ ח֥וּצָה לָעִֽיר׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:15 He also removed the foreign gods and the idol from the house of the Lord, as well as all the altars which he had built on the mountain of the house of the Lord and in Jerusalem, and he threw them outside the city.(nasb) ======= 2 Chronicles 33:16 ============ 2Ch 33:16 And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.(KJV) 2 Chronicles 33:16 Also he prepared the altar of the Lord, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings, and of thankes, & commanded Iudah to serue the Lord God of Israel.(Geneva) 2 Chroniques 33:16 Il rétablit l'autel de l'Eternel et y offrit des sacrifices d'actions de grâces et de reconnaissance, et il ordonna à Juda de servir l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël.(FR) 16 ׃33 *ויכן **וַיִּ֙בֶן֙ אֶת־מִזְבַּ֣ח יְהוָ֔ה וַיִּזְבַּ֣ח עָלָ֔יו זִבְחֵ֥י שְׁלָמִ֖ים וְתוֹדָ֑ה וַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙ לִֽיהוּדָ֔ה לַעֲב֕וֹד אֶת־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ Chronicles2 2Ch 33:16 He set up the altar of the Lord and sacrificed peace offerings and thank offerings on it;
