Seigneur Eternel! voici, je ne sais point parler, car je suis un enfant.(FR) 6 ׃1 וָאֹמַ֗ר אֲהָהּ֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֔ה הִנֵּ֥ה לֹא־יָדַ֖עְתִּי דַּבֵּ֑ר כִּי־נַ֖עַר אָנֹֽכִי׃ פ Jeremiah Jer 1:6 Then I said, "Alas, Lord God! Behold, I do not know how to speak, Because I am a youth."(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:7 ============ Jer 1:7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:7 But the Lord said vnto me, Say not, I am a childe: for thou shalt goe to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoeuer I command thee, shalt thou speake.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:7 Et l'Eternel me dit: Ne dis pas: Je suis un enfant. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:10 ============ Jer 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:10 Beholde, this day haue I set thee ouer the nations and ouer the kingdomes to plucke vp, and to roote out, and to destroye and throwe downe, to builde, and to plant.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:10 Regarde, je t'établis aujourd'hui sur les nations et sur les royaumes, pour que tu arraches et que tu abattes, pour que tu ruines et que tu détruises, pour que tu bâtisses et que tu plantes.(FR) 10 ׃1 רְאֵ֞ה הִפְקַדְתִּ֣יךָ ׀ הַיּ֣וֹם הַזֶּ֗ה עַל־הַגּוֹיִם֙ וְעַל־הַמַּמְלָכ֔וֹת לִנְת֥וֹשׁ וְלִנְת֖וֹץ וּלְהַאֲבִ֣יד וְלַהֲר֑וֹס לִבְנ֖וֹת וְלִנְטֽוֹעַ׃ פ Jeremiah Jer 1:10 "See, I have appointed you this day over the nations and over the kingdoms, To pluck up and to break down, To destroy and to overthrow, To build and to plant." (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:11 ============ Jer 1:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:11 After this the worde of the Lord came vnto me, saying, Ieremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almonde tree.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:11 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée, en ces mots: Que vois-tu, Jérémie? Je répondis: Je vois une branche d'amandier.(FR) 11 ׃1 וַיְהִ֤י דְבַר־יְהוָה֙ אֵלַ֣י לֵאמֹ֔ר מָה־אַתָּ֥ה רֹאֶ֖ה יִרְמְיָ֑הוּ וָאֹמַ֕ר מַקֵּ֥ל שָׁקֵ֖ד אֲנִ֥י רֹאֶֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 1:11 The word of the Lord came to me saying, "What do you see, Jeremiah?" And I said, "I see a rod of an almond tree."(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:12 ============ Jer 1:12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:12 Then saide the Lorde vnto me, Thou hast seene aright: for I will hasten my worde to performe it.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:12 Et l'Eternel me dit: Tu as bien vu; car je veille sur ma parole, pour l'exécuter.(FR) 12 ׃1 וַיֹּ֧אמֶר יְהוָ֛ה אֵלַ֖י הֵיטַ֣בְתָּ לִרְא֑וֹת כִּֽי־שֹׁקֵ֥ד אֲנִ֛י עַל־דְּבָרִ֖י לַעֲשֹׂתֽוֹ׃ פ Jeremiah Jer 1:12 Then the Lord said to me, "You have seen well, for I am watching over My word to perform it."(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:13 ============ Jer 1:13 And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:13 Againe the worde of the Lorde came vnto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I saide, I see a seething pot looking out of the North.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:13 La parole de l'Eternel me fut adressée une seconde fois, en ces mots: Que vois-tu? Je répondis: Je vois une chaudière bouillante, du côté du septentrion.(FR) 13 ׃1 וַיְהִ֨י דְבַר־יְהוָ֤ה ׀ אֵלַי֙ שֵׁנִ֣ית לֵאמֹ֔ר מָ֥ה אַתָּ֖ה רֹאֶ֑ה וָאֹמַ֗ר סִ֤יר נָפ֙וּחַ֙ אֲנִ֣י רֹאֶ֔ה וּפָנָ֖יו מִפְּנֵ֥י צָפֽוֹנָה׃ Jeremiah Jer 1:13 The word of the Lord came to me a second time saying, "What do you see?" And I said, "I see a boiling pot, facing away from the north."(nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:14 ============ Jer 1:14 Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:14 Then saide the Lorde vnto me, Out of the North shall a plague be spred vpon all the inhabitants of the land.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:14 Et l'Eternel me dit: C'est du septentrion que la calamité se répandra sur tous les habitants du pays.(FR) 14 ׃1 וַיֹּ֥אמֶר יְהוָ֖ה אֵלָ֑י מִצָּפוֹן֙ תִּפָּתַ֣ח הָרָעָ֔ה עַ֥ל כָּל־יֹשְׁבֵ֖י הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Jeremiah Jer 1:14 Then the Lord said to me, "Out of the north the evil will break forth on all the inhabitants of the land. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:15 ============ Jer 1:15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:15 For loe, I will call all the families of the kingdomes of the North, saith the Lord, and they shall come, and euery one shall set his throne in the entring of the gates of Ierusalem, and on all the walles thereof rounde about, and in all the cities of Iudah.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:15 Car voici, je vais appeler tous les peuples des royaumes du septentrion, dit l'Eternel; ils viendront, et placeront chacun leur siège à l'entrée des portes de Jérusalem, contre ses murailles tout alentour, et contre toutes les villes de Juda.(FR) 15 ׃1 כִּ֣י ׀ הִנְנִ֣י קֹרֵ֗א לְכָֽל־מִשְׁפְּח֛וֹת מַמְלְכ֥וֹת צָפ֖וֹנָה נְאֻם־יְהוָ֑ה וּבָ֡אוּ וְֽנָתְנוּ֩ אִ֨ישׁ כִּסְא֜וֹ פֶּ֣תַח ׀ שַׁעֲרֵ֣י יְרוּשָׁלִַ֗ם וְעַ֤ל כָּל־חוֹמֹתֶ֙יהָ֙ סָבִ֔יב וְעַ֖ל כָּל־עָרֵ֥י יְהוּדָֽה׃ Jeremiah Jer 1:15 For, behold, I am calling all the families of the kingdoms of the north," declares the Lord."and they will come and they will set each one his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls round about and against all the cities of Judah. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:17 ============ Jer 1:17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:17 Thou therefore trusse vp thy loynes, and arise and speake vnto them all that I commaunde thee: be not afraide of their faces, lest I destroy thee before them.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:17 Et toi, ceins tes reins, lève-toi, et dis-leur tout ce que je t'ordonnerai. Ne tremble pas en leur présence, de peur que je ne te fasse trembler devant eux.(FR) 17 ׃1 וְאַתָּה֙ תֶּאְזֹ֣ר מָתְנֶ֔יךָ וְקַמְתָּ֙ וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣ אֲלֵיהֶ֔ם אֵ֛ת כָּל־אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָנֹכִ֖י אֲצַוֶּ֑ךָּ אַל־תֵּחַת֙ מִפְּנֵיהֶ֔ם פֶּֽן־אֲחִתְּךָ֖ לִפְנֵיהֶֽם׃ Jeremiah Jer 1:17 Now, gird up your loins and arise, and speak to them all which I command you. Do not be dismayed before them, or I will dismay you before them. (nasb) ======= Jeremiah 1:18 ============ Jer 1:18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.(KJV) Jeremiah 1:18 For I, beholde, I this day haue made thee a defenced citie, and an yron pillar and walles of brasse against the whole lande, against the Kings of Iudah, and against the princes thereof, against the Priestes thereof and against the people of the lande.(Geneva) Jérémie 1:18 Voici, je t'établis en ce jour sur tout le pays comme une ville forte, une colonne de fer et un mur d'airain, contre les rois de Juda, contre ses chefs, contre ses sacrificateurs, et contre le peuple du pays.(FR) 18 ׃1 וַאֲנִ֞י הִנֵּ֧ה נְתַתִּ֣יךָ הַיּ֗וֹם לְעִ֨יר מִבְצָ֜ר וּלְעַמּ֥וּד בַּרְזֶ֛ל וּלְחֹמ֥וֹת נְחֹ֖שֶׁת עַל־כָּל־הָאָ֑רֶץ לְמַלְכֵ֤י יְהוּדָה֙ לְשָׂרֶ֔יהָ לְכֹהֲנֶ֖יהָ וּלְעַ֥ם הָאָֽרֶץ׃ Jeremiah Jer 1:18 Now behold, I have made you today as a fortified city and as a pillar of iron and as walls of bronze against the whole land, to the kings of Judah, to its princes, to its priests and to the people of the land.
