(Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:1 وذهب ابيمالك بن يربعل الى شكيم الى اخوة امه وكلمهم وجميع عشيرة بيت ابي امه قائلا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:1 And Abimelech the son of Jerubbaal went to Shechem to his mother's relatives, and spoke to them and to the whole clan of the household of his mother's father, saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:2---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:2 تكلموا الآن في آذان جميع اهل شكيم. ايما هو خير لكم. أأن يتسلط عليكم سبعون رجلا جميع بني يربعل ام ان يتسلط عليكم رجل واحد. واذكروا اني انا عظمكم ولحمكم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:2 "Speak, now, in the hearing of all the leaders of Shechem, 'Which is better for you, that seventy men, all the sons of Jerubbaal, rule over you, or that one man rule over you?' Also, remember that I am your bone and your flesh."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:3---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:3 فتكلم اخوة امه عنه في آذان كل اهل شكيم بجميع هذا الكلام. فمال قلبهم وراء ابيمالك لانهم قالوا اخونا هو. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:3 And his mother's relatives spoke all these words on his behalf in the hearing of all the leaders of Shechem; and they were inclined to follow Abimelech, for they said, "He is our relative."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:4---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:4 واعطوه سبعين شاقل فضة من بيت بعل بريث فاستاجر بها ابيمالك رجالا بطالين طائشين فسعوا وراءه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:4 They gave him seventy pieces of silver from the house of Baal-berith with which Abimelech hired worthless and reckless fellows, and they followed him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:5---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:5 ثم جاء الى بيت ابيه في عفرة وقتل اخوته بني يربعل سبعين رجلا على حجر واحد. وبقي يوثام بن يربعل الاصغر لانه اختبأ. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:5 Then he went to his father's house at Ophrah and killed his brothers the sons of Jerubbaal, seventy men, on one stone. But Jotham the youngest son of Jerubbaal was left, for he hid himself.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:6---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:6 فاجتمع جميع اهل شكيم وكل سكان القلعة وذهبوا وجعلوا ابيمالك ملكا عند بلوطة النصب الذي في شكيم -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:6 All the men of Shechem and all Beth-millo assembled together, and they went and made Abimelech king, by the oak of the pillar which was in Shechem.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:7---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:7 واخبروا يوثام فذهب ووقف على راس جبل جرزيم ورفع صوته ونادى وقال لهم. اسمعوا لي يا اهل شكيم يسمع لكم الله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:7 Now when they told Jotham, he went and stood on the top of Mount Gerizim, and lifted his voice and called out. Thus he said to them, "Listen to me, O men of Shechem, that God may listen to you.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:8---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:8 مرّة ذهبت الاشجار لتمسح عليها ملكا. فقالت للزيتونة املكي علينا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:8 Once the trees went forth to anoint a king over them, and they said to the olive tree, 'Reign over us!'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:9---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:9 فقالت لها الزيتونة أاترك دهني الذي به يكرمون بي الله والناس واذهب لكي املك على الاشجار. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:9 But the olive tree said to them, 'Shall I leave my fatness with which God and men are honored, and go to wave over the trees?'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:10---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:10 ثم قالت الاشجار للتينة تعالي انت واملكي علينا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:10 Then the trees said to the fig tree, 'You come, reign over us!'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:11---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:11 فقالت لها التينة أأترك حلاوتي وثمري الطيب واذهب لكي املك على الاشجار. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:11 But the fig tree said to them, 'Shall I leave my sweetness and my good fruit, and go to wave over the trees?'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:12---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:12 فقالت الاشجار للكرمة تعالي انت املكي علينا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:12 Then the trees said to the vine, 'You come, reign over us!'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:13---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:13 فقالت لها الكرمة أاترك مسطاري الذي يفرح الله والناس واذهب لكي املك على الاشجار. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:13 But the vine said to them, 'Shall I leave my new wine, which cheers God and men, and go to wave over the trees?'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:14---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:14 ثم قالت جميع الاشجار للعوسج تعال انت واملك علينا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:14 Finally all the trees said to the bramble, 'You come, reign over us!'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:15---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:15 فقال العوسج للاشجار ان كنتم بالحق تمسحونني عليكم ملكا فتعالوا واحتموا تحت ظلي. والا فتخرج نار من العوسج وتأكل ارز لبنان. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:15 The bramble said to the trees, 'If in truth you are anointing me as king over you, come and take refuge in my shade; but if not, may fire come out from the bramble and consume the cedars of Lebanon.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:16---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:16 فالآن ان كنتم قد عملتم بالحق والصحة اذ جعلتم ابيمالك ملكا وان كنتم قد فعلتم خيرا مع يربعل ومع بيته وان كنتم قد فعلتم له حسب عمل يديه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:16 "Now therefore, if you have dealt in truth and integrity in making Abimelech king, and if you have dealt well with Jerubbaal and his house, and have dealt with him as he deserved"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:17---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:17 لان ابي قد حارب عنكم وخاطر بنفسه وانقذكم من يد مديان. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:17 for my father fought for you and risked his life and delivered you from the hand of Midian;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:18---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:18 وانتم قد قمتم اليوم على بيت ابي وقتلتم بنيه سبعين رجلا على حجر واحد وملكتم ابيمالك ابن امته على اهل شكيم لانه اخوكم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:18 but you have risen against my father's house today and have killed his sons, seventy men, on one stone, and have made Abimelech, the son of his maidservant, king over the men of Shechem, because he is your relative"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:19---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:19 فان كنتم قد عملتم بالحق والصحة مع يربعل ومع بيته في هذا اليوم فافرحوا انتم بابيمالك وليفرح هو ايضا بكم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:19 if then you have dealt in truth and integrity with Jerubbaal and his house this day, rejoice in Abimelech, and let him also rejoice in you.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:20---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:20 والا فتخرج نار من ابيمالك وتأكل اهل شكيم وسكان القلعة وتخرج نار من اهل شكيم ومن سكان القلعة وتاكل ابيمالك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:20 But if not, let fire come out from Abimelech and consume the men of Shechem and Beth-millo; and let fire come out from the men of Shechem and from Beth-millo, and consume Abimelech."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:21---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:21 ثم هرب يوثام وفرّ وذهب الى بئر واقام هناك من وجه ابيمالك اخيه -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:21 Then Jotham escaped and fled, and went to Beer and remained there because of Abimelech his brother.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:22---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:22 فترأس ابيمالك على اسرائيل ثلاث سنين. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:22 Now Abimelech ruled over Israel three years.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:23---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:23 وارسل الرب روحا رديا بين ابيمالك واهل شكيم فغدر اهل شكيم بابيمالك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:23 Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:24---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:24 ليأتي ظلم بني يربعل السبعين ويجلب دمهم على ابيمالك اخيهم الذي قتلهم وعلى اهل شكيم الذين شددوا يديه لقتل اخوته. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:24 so that the violence done to the seventy sons of Jerubbaal might come, and their blood might be laid on Abimelech their brother, who killed them, and on the men of Shechem, who strengthened his hands to kill his brothers.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:25---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:25 فوضع له اهل شكيم كمينا على رؤوس الجبال وكانوا يستلبون كل من عبر بهم في الطريق. فأخبر ابيمالك -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:25 The men of Shechem set men in ambush against him on the tops of the mountains, and they robbed all who might pass by them along the road; and it was told to Abimelech.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:26---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:26 وجاء جعل بن عابد مع اخوته وعبروا الى شكيم فوثق به اهل شكيم -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:26 Now Gaal the son of Ebed came with his relatives, and crossed over into Shechem; and the men of Shechem put their trust in him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:27---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:27 وخرجوا الى الحقل وقطفوا كرومهم وداسوا وصنعوا تمجيدا ودخلوا بيت الههم واكلوا وشربوا ولعنوا ابيمالك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:27 They went out into the field and gathered the grapes of their vineyards and trod them, and held a festival; and they went into the house of their god, and ate and drank and cursed Abimelech.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:28---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:28 فقال جعل بن عابد من هو ابيمالك ومن هو شكيم حتى نخدمه. أما هو ابن يربعل وزبول وكيله. اخدموا رجال حمور ابي شكيم. فلماذا نخدمه نحن. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:28 Then Gaal the son of Ebed said, "Who is Abimelech, and who is Shechem, that we should serve him? Is he not the son of Jerubbaal, and is Zebul not his lieutenant? Serve the men of Hamor the father of Shechem; but why should we serve him?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:29---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:29 من يجعل هذا الشعب بيدي فاعزل ابيمالك. وقال لابيمالك كثر جندك واخرج. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:29 Would, therefore, that this people were under my authority! Then I would remove Abimelech." And he said to Abimelech, "Increase your army and come out."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:30---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:30 ولما سمع زبول رئيس المدينة كلام جعل بن عابد حمي غضبه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:30 When Zebul the ruler of the city heard the words of Gaal the son of Ebed, his anger burned.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:31---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:31 وارسل رسلا الى ابيمالك في ترمة يقول هوذا جعل بن عابد واخوته قد اتوا الى شكيم وها هم يهيجون المدينة ضدك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:31 He sent messengers to Abimelech deceitfully, saying, "Behold, Gaal the son of Ebed and his relatives have come to Shechem; and behold, they are stirring up the city against you.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:32---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:32 فالآن قم ليلا انت والشعب الذي معك واكمن في الحقل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:32 Now therefore, arise by night, you and the people who are with you, and lie in wait in the field.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:33---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:33 ويكون في الصباح عند شروق الشمس انك تبكر وتقتحم المدينة. وها هو والشعب الذي معه يخرجون اليك فتفعل به حسبما تجده يدك -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:33 In the morning, as soon as the sun is up, you shall rise early and rush upon the city; and behold, when he and the people who are with him come out against you, you shall do to them whatever you can."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:34---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:34 فقام ابيمالك وكل الشعب الذي معه ليلا وكمنوا لشكيم اربع فرق. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:34 So Abimelech and all the people who were with him arose by night and lay in wait against Shechem in four companies.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:35---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:35 فخرج جعل بن عابد ووقف في مدخل باب المدينة. فقام ابيمالك والشعب الذي معه من المكمن. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:35 Now Gaal the son of Ebed went out and stood in the entrance of the city gate; and Abimelech and the people who were with him arose from the ambush.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:36---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:36 ورأى جعل الشعب وقال لزبول هوذا شعب نازل عن رؤوس الجبال. فقال له زبول انك ترى ظل الجبال كانه اناس. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:36 When Gaal saw the people, he said to Zebul, "Look, people are coming down from the tops of the mountains." But Zebul said to him, "You are seeing the shadow of the mountains as if they were men."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:37---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:37 فعاد جعل وتكلم ايضا قائلا هوذا شعب نازل من عند اعالي الارض وفرقة واحدة آتية عن طريق بلوطة العائفين. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:37 Gaal spoke again and said, "Behold, people are coming down from the highest part of the land, and one company comes by the way of the diviners' oak."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:38---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:38 فقال له زبول اين الآن فوك الذي قلت به من هو ابيمالك حتى نخدمه. أليس هذا هو الشعب الذي رذلته. فاخرج الآن وحاربه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:38 Then Zebul said to him, "Where is your boasting now with which you said, 'Who is Abimelech that we should serve him?' Is this not the people whom you despised? Go out now and fight with them!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:39---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:39 فخرج جعل امام اهل شكيم وحارب ابيمالك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:39 So Gaal went out before the leaders of Shechem and fought with Abimelech.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:40---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:40 فهزمه ابيمالك فهرب من قدامه وسقط قتلى كثيرون حتى عند مدخل الباب. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:40 Abimelech chased him, and he fled before him; and many fell wounded up to the entrance of the gate.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:41---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:41 فاقام ابيمالك في ارومة. وطرد زبول جعلا واخوته عن الاقامة في شكيم -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:41 Then Abimelech remained at Arumah, but Zebul drove out Gaal and his relatives so that they could not remain in Shechem.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:42---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:42 وكان في الغد ان الشعب خرج الى الحقل واخبروا ابيمالك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:42 Now it came about the next day, that the people went out to the field, and it was told to Abimelech.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:43---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:43 فاخذ القوم وقسمهم الى ثلاث فرق وكمن في الحقل ونظر واذ الشعب يخرج من المدينة فقام عليهم وضربهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:43 So he took his people and divided them into three companies, and lay in wait in the field; when he looked and saw the people coming out from the city, he arose against them and slew them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:44---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:44 وابيمالك والفرقة التي معه اقتحموا ووقفوا في مدخل باب المدينة. واما الفرقتان فهجمتا على كل من في الحقل وضربتاه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:44 Then Abimelech and the company who was with him dashed forward and stood in the entrance of the city gate; the other two companies then dashed against all who were in the field and slew them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:45---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:45 وحارب ابيمالك المدينة كل ذلك اليوم واخذ المدينة وقتل الشعب الذي بها وهدم المدينة وزرعها ملحا -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:45 Abimelech fought against the city all that day, and he captured the city and killed the people who were in it; then he razed the city and sowed it with salt.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:46---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:46 وسمع كل اهل برج شكيم فدخلوا الى صرح بيت ايل بريث. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:46 When all the leaders of the tower of Shechem heard of it, they entered the inner chamber of the temple of El-berith.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:47---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:47 فأخبر ابيمالك ان كل اهل برج شكيم قد اجتمعوا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:47 It was told Abimelech that all the leaders of the tower of Shechem were gathered together.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 9:48---- (Arabic) ﺓﺎﻀﻘﻟﺍ 9:48 فصعد ابيمالك الى جبل صلمون هو وكل الشعب الذي معه. واخذ ابيمالك الفؤوس بيده وقطع غصن شجر ورفعه ووضعه على كتفه وقال للشعب الذي معه ما رأيتموني افعله فاسرعوا افعلوا مثلي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 9:48 So Abimelech went up to Mount Zalmon, he and all the people who were with him; and Abimelech took an axe in his hand and cut down a branch from the trees, and lifted it and laid it on his shoulder.
