David the son of Jesse declares, The man who was raised on high declares, The anointed of the God of Jacob, And the sweet psalmist of Israel,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:2---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:2 روح الرب تكلم بي وكلمته على لساني. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:2 "The Spirit of the Lord spoke by me, And His word was on my tongue.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:3---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:3 قال اله اسرائيل اليّ تكلم صخرة اسرائيل. اذا تسلط على الناس بار يتسلط بخوف الله -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:3 "The God of Israel said, The Rock of Israel spoke to me, 'He who rules over men righteously, Who rules in the fear of God,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:4---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:4 وكنور الصباح اذا اشرقت الشمس. كعشب من الارض في صباح صحو مضيء غبّ المطر. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:4 Is as the light of the morning when the sun rises, A morning without clouds, When the tender grass springs out of the earth, Through sunshine after rain.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:5---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:5 أليس هكذا بيتي عند الله لانه وضع لي عهدا ابديا متقنا في كل شيء ومحفوظا. أفلا يثبت كل خلاصي وكل مسرتي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:5 "Truly is not my house so with God? For He has made an everlasting covenant with me, Ordered in all things, and secured; For all my salvation and all my desire, Will He not indeed make it grow?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:6---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:6 ولكن بني بليعال جميعهم كشوك مطروح لانهم لا يؤخذون بيد. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:6 "But the worthless, every one of them will be thrust away like thorns, Because they cannot be taken in hand;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:7---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:7 والرجل الذي يمسهم يتسلح بحديد وعصا رمح. فيحترقون بالنار في مكانهم -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:7 But the man who touches them Must be armed with iron and the shaft of a spear, And they will be completely burned with fire in their place."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:8---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:8 هذه اسماء الابطال الذين لداود. يوشيب بشبث التحكموني رئيس الثلاثة. هو هزّ رمحه على ثمان مئة قتلهم دفعة واحدة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:8 These are the names of the mighty men whom David had: Josheb-basshebeth a Tahchemonite, chief of the captains, he was called Adino the Eznite, because of eight hundred slain by him at one time;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:9---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:9 وبعده العازار بن دودو بن اخوخي احد الثلاثة الابطال الذين كانوا مع داود حينما عيّروا الفلسطينيين الذين اجتمعوا هناك للحرب وصعد رجال اسرائيل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:9 and after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David when they defied the Philistines who were gathered there to battle and the men of Israel had withdrawn.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:10---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:10 اما هو فاقام وضرب الفلسطينيين حتى كلّت يده ولصقت يده بالسيف وصنع الرب خلاصا عظيما في ذلك اليوم ورجع الشعب وراءه للنهب فقط. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:10 He arose and struck the Philistines until his hand was weary and clung to the sword, and the Lord brought about a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to strip the slain.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:11---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:11 وبعده شمّة بن احي الهراري. فاجتمع الفلسطينيون جيشا وكانت هناك قطعة حقل مملوءة عدسا فهرب الشعب من امام الفلسطينيين. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:11 Now after him was Shammah the son of Agee a Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered into a troop where there was a plot of ground full of lentils, and the people fled from the Philistines.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:12---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:12 فوقف في وسط القطعة وانقذها وضرب الفلسطينيين فصنع الرب خلاصا عظيما. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:12 But he took his stand in the midst of the plot, defended it and struck the Philistines; and the Lord brought about a great victory.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:13---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:13 ونزل الثلاثة من الثلاثين رئيسا وأتوا في الحصاد الى داود الى مغارة عدلام وجيش الفلسطينيين نازل في وادي الرفائيين. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:13 Then three of the thirty chief men went down and came to David in the harvest time to the cave of Adullam, while the troop of the Philistines was camping in the valley of Rephaim.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:14---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:14 وكان داود حينئذ في الحصن وحفظة الفلسطينيين حينئذ في بيت لحم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:14 David was then in the stronghold, while the garrison of the Philistines was then in Bethlehem.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:15---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:15 فتأوّه داود وقال من يسقيني ماء من بئر بيت لحم التي عند الباب. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:15 David had a craving and said, "Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem which is by the gate!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:16---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:16 فشقّ الابطال الثلاثة محلّة الفلسطينيين واستقوا ماء من بئر بيت لحم التي عند الباب وحملوه وأتوا به الى داود فلم يشأ ان يشربه بل سكبه للرب -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:16 So the three mighty men broke through the camp of the Philistines, and drew water from the well of Bethlehem which was by the gate, and took it and brought it to David. Nevertheless he would not drink it, but poured it out to the Lord;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:17---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:17 وقال حاشا لي يا رب ان افعل ذلك. هذا دم الرجال الذين خاطروا بانفسهم. فلم يشأ ان يشربه. هذا ما فعله الثلاثة الابطال -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:17 and he said, "Be it far from me, O Lord, that I should do this. Shall I drink the blood of the men who went in jeopardy of their lives?" Therefore he would not drink it. These things the three mighty men did.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:18---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:18 وابيشاي اخو يوآب ابن صروية هو رئيس ثلاثة. هذا هزّ رمحه على ثلاث مئة قتلهم فكان له اسم بين الثلاثة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:18 Abishai, the brother of Joab, the son of Zeruiah, was chief of the thirty. And he swung his spear against three hundred and killed them, and had a name as well as the three.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:19---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:19 ألم يكرم على الثلاثة فكان لهم رئيسا الا انه لم يصل الى الثلاثة الاول. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:19 He was most honored of the thirty, therefore he became their commander; however, he did not attain to the three.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:20---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:20 وبناياهو بن يهوياداع ابن ذي بأس كثير الافعال من قبصئيل هو الذي ضرب اسدي موآب وهو الذي نزل وضرب اسدا في وسط جب يوم الثلج. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:20 Then Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done mighty deeds, killed the two sons of Ariel of Moab. He also went down and killed a lion in the middle of a pit on a snowy day.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:21---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:21 وهو ضرب رجلا مصريا ذا منظر. وكان بيد المصري رمح. فنزل اليه بعصا وخطف الرمح من يد المصري وقتله برمحه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:21 He killed an Egyptian, an impressive man. Now the Egyptian had a spear in his hand, but he went down to him with a club and snatched the spear from the Egyptian's hand and killed him with his own spear.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:22---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:22 هذا ما فعله بناياهو بن يهوياداع فكان له اسم بين الثلاثة الابطال -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:22 These things Benaiah the son of Jehoiada did, and had a name as well as the three mighty men.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:23---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:23 وأكرم على الثلاثين الا انه لم يصل الى الثلاثة. فجعله داود من اصحاب سرّه -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:23 He was honored among the thirty, but he did not attain to the three. And David appointed him over his guard.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Samuel 23:24---- (Arabic) ﻲﻧﺎﺜﻟﺍ ﻞﻴﺋﻮﻤﺻ 23:24 وعسائيل اخو يوآب كان من الثلاثين والحانان بن دودو من بيت لحم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Sa 23:24 Asahel the brother of Joab was among the thirty; Elhanan
