Job 1:22 Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:1 ---- occurred around 2000-1700 B.C.---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:1 وكان ذات يوم انه جاء بنو الله ليمثلوا امام الرب وجاء الشيطان ايضا في وسطهم ليمثل امام الرب. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:2---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:2 فقال الرب للشيطان من اين جئت. فاجاب الشيطان الرب وقال من الجولان في الارض ومن التمشي فيها. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:2 The Lord said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Then Satan answered the Lord and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking around on it."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:3---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:3 فقال الرب للشيطان هل جعلت قلبك على عبدي ايوب. لانه ليس مثله في الارض. رجل كامل ومستقيم يتقي الله ويحيد عن الشر. والى الآن هو متمسك بكماله وقد هيّجتني عليه لابتلعه بلا سبب. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:3 The Lord said to Satan, "Have you considered My servant Job? For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man fearing God and turning away from evil. And he still holds fast his integrity, although you incited Me against him to ruin him without cause."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:4---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:4 فاجاب الشيطان الرب وقال. جلد بجلد وكل ما للانسان يعطيه لاجل نفسه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:4 Satan answered the Lord and said, "Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:5---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:5 ولكن ابسط الآن يدك ومس عظمه ولحمه فانه في وجهك يجدّف عليك. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:5 However, put forth Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh; he will curse You to Your face."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:6---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:6 فقال الرب للشيطان ها هو في يدك ولكن احفظ نفسه -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:6 So the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:7---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:7 فخرج الشيطان من حضرة الرب وضرب ايوب بقرح رديء من باطن قدمه الى هامته. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:7 Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:8---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:8 فاخذ لنفسه شقفة ليحتك بها وهو جالس في وسط الرماد. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:8 And he took a potsherd to scrape himself while he was sitting among the ashes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:9---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:9 فقالت له امرأته انت متمسك بعد بكمالك. بارك الله ومت. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:9 Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:10---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:10 فقال لها تتكلمين كلاما كاحدى الجاهلات. أالخير نقبل من عند الله والشر لا نقبل . في كل هذا لم يخطئ ايوب بشفتيه -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:10 But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:11---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:11 فلما سمع اصحاب ايوب الثلاثة بكل الشر الذي أتى عليه جاءوا كل واحد من مكانه. اليفاز التيماني وبلدد الشوحي وصوفر النعماتي وتواعدوا ان يأتوا ليرثوا له ويعّزوه. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:11 Now when Job's three friends heard of all this adversity that had come upon him, they came each one from his own place, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite; and they made an appointment together to come to sympathize with him and comfort him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:12---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:12 ورفعوا اعينهم من بعيد ولم يعرفوه فرفعوا اصواتهم وبكوا ومزّق كل واحد جبّته وذروا ترابا فوق رؤوسهم نحو السماء. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:12 When they lifted up their eyes at a distance and did not recognize him, they raised their voices and wept. And each of them tore his robe and they threw dust over their heads toward the sky.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:13---- (Arabic) ﺏﻮﻳﺃ 2:13 وقعدوا معه على الارض سبعة ايام وسبع ليال ولم يكلمه احد بكلمة لانهم رأوا ان كآبته كانت عظيمة جدا -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:13 Then they sat down on the ground with him for seven days and seven nights with no one speaking a word to him, for they saw that his pain was very great.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 3:1 ---- occurred around 2000-1700 B.C.---- |
