Josué 22:1 ¶ Alors Josué appela les Rubénites, les Gadites et la demi-tribu de Manassé.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:1 Then Joshua summoned the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:2---- Josué 22:2 Il leur dit: Vous avez observé tout ce que vous a prescrit Moïse, serviteur de l'Eternel, et vous avez obéi à ma voix dans tout ce que je vous ai ordonné.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:2 and said to them, "You have kept all that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, and have listened to my voice in all that I commanded you.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:3---- Josué 22:3 Vous n'avez point abandonné vos frères, depuis un long espace de temps jusqu'à ce jour; et vous avez gardé les ordres, les commandements de l'Eternel, votre Dieu.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:3 You have not forsaken your brothers these many days to this day, but have kept the charge of the commandment of the Lord your God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:4---- Josué 22:4 Maintenant que l'Eternel, votre Dieu, a accordé du repos à vos frères, comme il le leur avait dit, retournez et allez vers vos tentes, dans le pays qui vous appartient, et que Moïse, serviteur de l'Eternel, vous a donné de l'autre côté du Jourdain.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:4 And now the Lord your God has given rest to your brothers, as He spoke to them; therefore turn now and go to your tents, to the land of your possession, which Moses the servant of the Lord gave you beyond the Jordan.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:5---- Josué 22:5 Ayez soin seulement d'observer et de mettre en pratique les ordonnances et les lois que vous a prescrites Moïse, serviteur de l'Eternel: aimez l'Eternel, votre Dieu, marchez dans toutes ses voies, gardez ses commandements, attachez-vous à lui, et servez-le de tout votre coeur et de toute votre âme.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:5 Only be very careful to observe the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God and walk in all His ways and keep His commandments and hold fast to Him and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:6---- Josué 22:6 Et Josué les bénit et les renvoya, et ils s'en allèrent vers leurs tentes.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:6 So Joshua blessed them and sent them away, and they went to their tents.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:7---- Josué 22:7 Moïse avait donné à une moitié de la tribu de Manassé un héritage en Basan, et Josué donna à l'autre moitié un héritage auprès de ses frères en deçà du Jourdain, à l'occident. Lorsque Josué les renvoya vers leurs tentes, il les bénit,(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:7 Now to the one half-tribe of Manasseh Moses had given a possession in Bashan, but to the other half Joshua gave a possession among their brothers westward beyond the Jordan. So when Joshua sent them away to their tents, he blessed them,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:8---- Josué 22:8 et leur dit: Vous retournez à vos tentes avec de grandes richesses, avec des troupeaux fort nombreux, et avec une quantité considérable d'argent, d'or, d'airain, de fer, et de vêtements. Partagez avec vos frères le butin de vos ennemis.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:8 and said to them, "Return to your tents with great riches and with very much livestock, with silver, gold, bronze, iron, and with very many clothes; and each one of them was the head of his father's household among the thousands of Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:15---- Josué 22:15 Ils se rendirent auprès des fils de Ruben, des fils de Gad et de la demi-tribu de Manassé, au pays de Galaad, et ils leur adressèrent la parole, en disant:(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:15 They came to the sons of Reuben and to the sons of Gad and to the half-tribe of Manasseh, to the land of Gilead, and they spoke with them saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:16---- Josué 22:16 Ainsi parle toute l'assemblée de l'Eternel: Que signifie cette infidélité que vous avez commise envers le Dieu d'Israël, et pourquoi vous détournez-vous maintenant de l'Eternel, en vous bâtissant un autel pour vous révolter aujourd'hui contre l'Eternel?(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:16 "Thus says the whole congregation of the Lord, 'What is this unfaithful act which you have committed against the God of Israel, turning away from following the Lord this day, by building yourselves an altar, to rebel against the Lord this day?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:17---- Josué 22:17 Regardons-nous comme peu de chose le crime de Peor, dont nous n'avons pas jusqu'à présent enlevé la tache de dessus nous, malgré la plaie qu'il attira sur l'assemblée de l'Eternel?(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:17 Is not the iniquity of Peor enough for us, from which we have not cleansed ourselves to this day, although a plague came on the congregation of the Lord,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:18---- Josué 22:18 Et vous vous détournez aujourd'hui de l'Eternel! Si vous vous révoltez aujourd'hui contre l'Eternel, demain il s'irritera contre toute l'assemblée d'Israël.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:18 that you must turn away this day from following the Lord? If you rebel against the Lord today, He will be angry with the whole congregation of Israel tomorrow.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:19---- Josué 22:19 Si vous tenez pour impur le pays qui est votre propriété, passez dans le pays qui est la propriété de l'Eternel, où est fixée la demeure de l'Eternel, et établissez-vous au milieu de nous; mais ne vous révoltez pas contre l'Eternel et ne vous séparez pas de nous, en vous bâtissant un autel, outre l'autel de l'Eternel, notre Dieu.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:19 If, however, the land of your possession is unclean, then cross into the land of the possession of the Lord, where the Lord's tabernacle stands, and take possession among us. Only do not rebel against the Lord, or rebel against us by building an altar for yourselves, besides the altar of the Lord our God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:20---- Josué 22:20 Acan, fils de Zérach, ne commit-il pas une infidélité au sujet des choses dévouées par interdit, et la colère de l'Eternel ne s'enflamma-t-elle pas contre toute l'assemblée d'Israël? Il ne fut pas le seul qui périt à cause de son crime.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:20 Did not Achan the son of Zerah act unfaithfully in the things under the ban, and wrath fall on all the congregation of Israel? And that man did not perish alone in his iniquity.'"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:21---- Josué 22:21 ¶ Les fils de Ruben, les fils de Gad et la demi-tribu de Manassé, répondirent ainsi aux chefs des milliers d'Israël:(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:21 Then the sons of Reuben and the sons of Gad and the half-tribe of Manasseh answered and spoke to the heads of the families of Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:22---- Josué 22:22 Dieu, Dieu, l'Eternel, Dieu, Dieu, l'Eternel le sait, et Israël le saura! Si c'est par rébellion et par infidélité envers l'Eternel, ne viens point à notre aide en ce jour!(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:22 "The Mighty One, God, the Lord, the Mighty One, God, the Lord! He knows, and may Israel itself know. If it was in rebellion, or if in an unfaithful act against the Lord do not save us this day!(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:23---- Josué 22:23 Si nous nous sommes bâti un autel pour nous détourner de l'Eternel, si c'est pour y présenter des holocaustes et des offrandes, et si c'est pour y faire des sacrifices d'actions de grâces, que l'Eternel en demande compte!(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:23 If we have built us an altar to turn away from following the Lord, or if to offer a burnt offering or grain offering on it, or if to offer sacrifices of peace offerings on it, may the Lord Himself require it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:24---- Josué 22:24 C'est bien plutôt par une sorte d'inquiétude que nous avons fait cela, en pensant que vos fils diraient un jour à nos fils: Qu'y a-t-il de commun entre vous et l'Eternel, le Dieu d'Israël?(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:24 But truly we have done this out of concern, for a reason, saying, 'In time to come your sons may say to our sons, "What have you to do with the Lord, the God of Israel?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:25---- Josué 22:25 L'Eternel a mis le Jourdain pour limite entre nous et vous, fils de Ruben et fils de Gad; vous n'avez point de part à l'Eternel! Et vos fils seraient ainsi cause que nos fils cesseraient de craindre l'Eternel.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:25 For the Lord has made the Jordan a border between us and you, you sons of Reuben and sons of Gad; you have no portion in the Lord." So your sons may make our sons stop fearing the Lord.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:26---- Josué 22:26 C'est pourquoi nous avons dit: Bâtissons-nous donc un autel, non pour des holocaustes et pour des sacrifices,(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:26 "Therefore we said, 'Let us build an altar, not for burnt offering or for sacrifice;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:27---- Josué 22:27 mais comme un témoin entre nous et vous, entre nos descendants et les vôtres, que nous voulons servir l'Eternel devant sa face par nos holocaustes et par nos sacrifices d'expiation et d'actions de grâces, afin que vos fils ne disent pas un jour à nos fils: Vous n'avez point de part à l'Eternel!(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:27 rather it shall be a witness between us and you and between our generations after us, that we are to perform the service of the Lord before Him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices and with our peace offerings, so that your sons will not say to our sons in time to come, "You have no portion in the Lord."'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 22:28---- Josué 22:28 Nous avons dit: S'ils tiennent dans l'avenir ce langage à nous ou à nos descendants, nous répondrons: Voyez la forme de l'autel de l'Eternel, qu'ont fait nos pères, non pour des holocaustes et pour des sacrifices, mais comme témoin entre nous et vous.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 22:28 Therefore we said, 'It shall also come about if they say this to us or to our generations in time to come, then we shall say, "See the copy of the altar of the Lord which our fathers made, not for burnt offering or for sacrifice;
