Esther 4:1 ¶ Mardochée, ayant appris tout ce qui se passait, déchira ses vêtements, s'enveloppa d'un sac et se couvrit de cendre. Puis il alla au milieu de la ville en poussant avec force des cris amers,(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:1 When Mordecai learned all that had been done, he tore his clothes, put on sackcloth and ashes, and went out into the midst of the city and wailed loudly and bitterly.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:2---- Esther 4:2 et se rendit jusqu'à la porte du roi, dont l'entrée était interdite à toute personne revêtue d'un sac.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:2 He went as far as the king's gate, for no one was to enter the king's gate clothed in sackcloth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:3---- Esther 4:3 Dans chaque province, partout où arrivaient l'ordre du roi et son édit, il y eut une grande désolation parmi les Juifs; ils jeûnaient, pleuraient et se lamentaient, et beaucoup se couchaient sur le sac et la cendre.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:3 In each and every province where the command and decree of the king came, there was great mourning among the Jews, with fasting, weeping and wailing; and many lay on sackcloth and ashes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:4---- Esther 4:4 Les servantes d'Esther et ses eunuques vinrent lui annoncer cela, et la reine fut très effrayée. Elle envoya des vêtements à Mardochée pour le couvrir et lui faire ôter son sac, mais il ne les accepta pas.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:4 Then Esther's maidens and her eunuchs came and told her, and the queen writhed in great anguish. And she sent garments to clothe Mordecai that he might remove his sackcloth from him, but he did not accept them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:5---- Esther 4:5 ¶ Alors Esther appela Hathac, l'un des eunuques que le roi avait placés auprès d'elle, et elle le chargea d'aller demander à Mardochée ce que c'était et d'où cela venait.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:5 Then Esther summoned Hathach from the king's eunuchs, whom the king had appointed to attend her, and ordered him to go to Mordecai to learn what this was and why it was.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:6---- Esther 4:6 Hathac se rendit vers Mardochée sur la place de la ville, devant la porte du roi.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:6 So Hathach went out to Mordecai to the city square in front of the king's gate.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:7---- Esther 4:7 Et Mardochée lui raconta tout ce qui lui était arrivé, et lui indiqua la somme d'argent qu'Haman avait promis de livrer au trésor du roi en retour du massacre des Juifs.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:7 Mordecai told him all that had happened to him, and the exact amount of money that Haman had promised to pay to the king's treasuries for the destruction of the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:8---- Esther 4:8 Il lui donna aussi une copie de l'édit publié dans Suse en vue de leur destruction, afin qu'il le montrât à Esther et lui fît tout connaître; et il ordonna qu'Esther se rendît chez le roi pour lui demander grâce et l'implorer en faveur de son peuple.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:8 He also gave him a copy of the text of the edict which had been issued in Susa for their destruction, that he might show Esther and inform her, and to order her to go in to the king to implore his favor and to plead with him for her people.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:9---- Esther 4:9 Hathac vint rapporter à Esther les paroles de Mardochée.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:9 Hathach came back and related Mordecai's words to Esther.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:10---- Esther 4:10 Esther chargea Hathac d'aller dire à Mardochée:(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:10 Then Esther spoke to Hathach and ordered him to reply to Mordecai:(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:11---- Esther 4:11 Tous les serviteurs du roi et le peuple des provinces du roi savent qu'il existe une loi portant peine de mort contre quiconque, homme ou femme, entre chez le roi, dans la cour intérieure, sans avoir été appelé; celui-là seul a la vie sauve, à qui le roi tend le sceptre d'or. Et moi, je n'ai point été appelée auprès du roi depuis trente jours.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:11 "All the king's servants and the people of the king's provinces know that for any man or woman who comes to the king to the inner court who is not summoned, he has but one law, that he be put to death, unless the king holds out to him the golden scepter so that he may live. And I have not been summoned to come to the king for these thirty days."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:12---- Esther 4:12 Lorsque les paroles d'Esther eurent été rapportées à Mardochée,(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:12 They related Esther's words to Mordecai.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:13---- Esther 4:13 Mardochée fit répondre à Esther: Ne t'imagine pas que tu échapperas seule d'entre tous les Juifs, parce que tu es dans la maison du roi;(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:13 Then Mordecai told them to reply to Esther, "Do not imagine that you in the king's palace can escape any more than all the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:14---- Esther 4:14 car, si tu te tais maintenant, le secours et la délivrance surgiront d'autre part pour les Juifs, et toi et la maison de ton père vous périrez. Et qui sait si ce n'est pas pour un temps comme celui-ci que tu es parvenue à la royauté?(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place and you and your father's house will perish. And who knows whether you have not attained royalty for such a time as this?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:15---- Esther 4:15 Esther envoya dire à Mardochée:(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:15 Then Esther told them to reply to Mordecai,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 4:16---- Esther 4:16 Va, rassemble tous les Juifs qui se trouvent à Suse, et jeûnez pour moi, sans manger ni boire pendant trois jours, ni la nuit ni le jour. Moi aussi, je jeûnerai de même avec mes servantes, puis j'entrerai chez le roi, malgré la loi; et si je dois périr, je périrai.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 4:16 "Go, assemble all the Jews who are found in Susa, and fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maidens also will fast in the same way.
