And the sons of Israel said, "Tell us, how did this wickedness take place?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 20:4---- Jdg 20:4 καὶ ἀπεκρίθη ὁ ἀνὴρ ὁ Λευίτης ὁ ἀνὴρ τῆς γυναικὸς τῆς φονευθείσης καὶ εἶπεν εἰς Γαβαα τῆς Βενιαμιν ἦλθον ἐγὼ καὶ ἡ παλλακή μου τοῦ αὐλισθῆναι (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 20:4 So the Levite, the husband of the woman who was murdered, answered and said, "I came with my concubine to spend the night at Gibeah which belongs to Benjamin.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Judges 20:5---- Jdg 20:5 καὶ ἀνέστησαν ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ οἱ ἄνδρες τῆς Γαβαα καὶ ἐκύκλωσαν ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ ἐπὶ τὴν οἰκίαν νυκτός ἐμὲ ἠθέλησαν φονεῦσαι καὶ τὴν παλλακήν μου ἐταπείνωσαν καὶ ἀπέθανεν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jdg 20:5 But the men of Gibeah rose up against me and surrounded the house at night because of me.
