Exilic---- Eze 23:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:1 The word of the Lord came to me again, saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:2---- Eze 23:2 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου δύο γυναῖκες ἦσαν θυγατέρες μητρὸς μιᾶς (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:2 "Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:3---- Eze 23:3 καὶ ἐξεπόρνευσαν ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ ἐν τῇ νεότητι αὐτῶν ἐκεῖ ἔπεσον οἱ μαστοὶ αὐτῶν ἐκεῖ διεπαρθενεύθησαν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:3 and they played the harlot in Egypt. They played the harlot in their youth; there their breasts were pressed and there their virgin bosom was handled.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:4---- Eze 23:4 καὶ τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν ἦν Οολα ἡ πρεσβυτέρα καὶ Οολιβα ἡ ἀδελφὴ αὐτῆς καὶ ἐγένοντό μοι καὶ ἔτεκον υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας καὶ τὰ ὀνόματα αὐτῶν Σαμάρεια ἡ Οολα καὶ Ιερουσαλημ ἡ Οολιβα (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:4 Their names were Oholah the elder and Oholibah her sister. And they became Mine, and they bore sons and daughters. And as for their names, Samaria is Oholah and Jerusalem is Oholibah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:5---- Eze 23:5 καὶ ἐξεπόρνευσεν ἡ Οολα ἀπ᾽ ἐμοῦ καὶ ἐπέθετο ἐπὶ τοὺς ἐραστὰς αὐτῆς ἐπὶ τοὺς Ἀσσυρίους τοὺς ἐγγίζοντας αὐτῇ (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:5 "Oholah played the harlot while she was Mine; and she lusted after her lovers, after the Assyrians, her neighbors,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:6---- Eze 23:6 ἐνδεδυκότας ὑακίνθινα ἡγουμένους καὶ στρατηγούς νεανίσκοι ἐπίλεκτοι πάντες ἱππεῖς ἱππαζόμενοι ἐφ᾽ ἵππων (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:6 who were clothed in purple, governors and officials, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:7---- Eze 23:7 καὶ ἔδωκεν τὴν πορνείαν αὐτῆς ἐπ᾽ αὐτούς ἐπίλεκτοι υἱοὶ Ἀσσυρίων πάντες καὶ ἐπὶ πάντας οὓς ἐπέθετο ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς ἐνθυμήμασιν αὐτῆς ἐμιαίνετο (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:7 She bestowed her harlotries on them, all of whom were the choicest men of Assyria; and with all whom she lusted after, with all their idols she defiled herself.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:8---- Eze 23:8 καὶ τὴν πορνείαν αὐτῆς ἐξ Αἰγύπτου οὐκ ἐγκατέλιπεν ὅτι μετ᾽ αὐτῆς ἐκοιμῶντο ἐν νεότητι αὐτῆς καὶ αὐτοὶ διεπαρθένευσαν αὐτὴν καὶ ἐξέχεαν τὴν πορνείαν αὐτῶν ἐπ᾽ αὐτήν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:8 She did not forsake her harlotries from the time in Egypt; for in her youth men had lain with her, and they handled her virgin bosom and poured out their lust on her.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:9---- Eze 23:9 διὰ τοῦτο παρέδωκα αὐτὴν εἰς χεῖρας τῶν ἐραστῶν αὐτῆς εἰς χεῖρας υἱῶν Ἀσσυρίων ἐφ᾽ οὓς ἐπετίθετο (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:9 Therefore, I gave her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, after whom she lusted.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:10---- Eze 23:10 αὐτοὶ ἀπεκάλυψαν τὴν αἰσχύνην αὐτῆς υἱοὺς καὶ θυγατέρας αὐτῆς ἔλαβον καὶ αὐτὴν ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ ἀπέκτειναν καὶ ἐγένετο λάλημα εἰς γυναῖκας καὶ ἐποίησαν ἐκδικήσεις ἐν αὐτῇ εἰς τὰς θυγατέρας (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:10 They uncovered her nakedness; they took her sons and her daughters, but they slew her with the sword. And when she had been defiled by them, she became disgusted with them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:18---- Eze 23:18 καὶ ἀπεκάλυψεν τὴν πορνείαν αὐτῆς καὶ ἀπεκάλυψεν τὴν αἰσχύνην αὐτῆς καὶ ἀπέστη ἡ ψυχή μου ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς ὃν τρόπον ἀπέστη ἡ ψυχή μου ἀπὸ τῆς ἀδελφῆς αὐτῆς (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:18 She uncovered her harlotries and uncovered her nakedness; then I became disgusted with her, as I had become disgusted with her sister.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:19---- Eze 23:19 καὶ ἐπλήθυνας τὴν πορνείαν σου τοῦ ἀναμνῆσαι ἡμέρας νεότητός σου ἐν αἷς ἐπόρνευσας ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:19 Yet she multiplied her harlotries, remembering the days of her youth, when she played the harlot in the land of Egypt.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:20---- Eze 23:20 καὶ ἐπέθου ἐπὶ τοὺς Χαλδαίους ὧν ἦσαν ὡς ὄνων αἱ σάρκες αὐτῶν καὶ αἰδοῖα ἵππων τὰ αἰδοῖα αὐτῶν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:20 She lusted after their paramours, whose flesh is like the flesh of donkeys and whose issue is like the issue of horses.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:21---- Eze 23:21 καὶ ἐπεσκέψω τὴν ἀνομίαν νεότητός σου ἃ ἐποίεις ἐν Αἰγύπτῳ ἐν τῷ καταλύματί σου οὗ οἱ μαστοὶ νεότητός σου (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:21 Thus you longed for the lewdness of your youth, when the Egyptians handled your bosom because of the breasts of your youth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:22---- Eze 23:22 διὰ τοῦτο Οολιβα τάδε λέγει κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐξεγείρω τοὺς ἐραστάς σου ἐπὶ σέ ἀφ᾽ ὧν ἀπέστη ἡ ψυχή σου ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπάξω αὐτοὺς ἐπὶ σὲ κυκλόθεν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:22 "Therefore, O Oholibah, thus says the Lord God, 'Behold I will arouse your lovers against you, from whom you were alienated, and I will bring them against you from every side:(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:23---- Eze 23:23 υἱοὺς Βαβυλῶνος καὶ πάντας τοὺς Χαλδαίους Φακουδ καὶ Σουε καὶ Κουε καὶ πάντας υἱοὺς Ἀσσυρίων μετ᾽ αὐτῶν νεανίσκους ἐπιλέκτους ἡγεμόνας καὶ στρατηγοὺς πάντας τρισσοὺς καὶ ὀνομαστοὺς ἱππεύοντας ἐφ᾽ ἵππων (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:23 the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, and all the Assyrians with them; desirable young men, governors and officials all of them, officers and men of renown, all of them riding on horses.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:24---- Eze 23:24 καὶ πάντες ἥξουσιν ἐπὶ σὲ ἀπὸ βορρᾶ ἅρματα καὶ τροχοὶ μετ᾽ ὄχλου λαῶν θυρεοὶ καὶ πέλται καὶ βαλοῦσιν φυλακὴν ἐπὶ σὲ κύκλῳ καὶ δώσω πρὸ προσώπου αὐτῶν κρίμα καὶ ἐκδικήσουσίν σε ἐν τοῖς κρίμασιν αὐτῶν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:24 They will come against you with weapons, chariots and wagons, and with a company of peoples. They will set themselves against you on every side with buckler and shield and helmet; and I will commit the judgment to them, and they will judge you according to their customs.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 23:25---- Eze 23:25 καὶ δώσω τὸν ζῆλόν μου ἐν σοί καὶ ποιήσουσιν μετὰ σοῦ ἐν ὀργῇ θυμοῦ μυκτῆρά σου καὶ ὦτά σου ἀφελοῦσιν καὶ τοὺς καταλοίπους σου ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ καταβαλοῦσιν αὐτοὶ υἱούς σου καὶ θυγατέρας σου λήμψονται καὶ τοὺς καταλοίπους σου πῦρ καταφάγεται (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 23:25 I will set My jealousy against you, that they may deal with you in wrath. They will remove your nose and your ears; and your survivors will fall by the sword.
