(Hebrew) 1 ׃32 הֵ֥ן לְצֶ֖דֶק יִמְלָךְ־מֶ֑לֶךְ וּלְשָׂרִ֖ים לְמִשְׁפָּ֥ט יָשֹֽׂרוּ׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:1 Behold, a king will reign righteously And princes will rule justly.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:2---- (Hebrew) 2 ׃32 וְהָיָה־אִ֥ישׁ כְּמַֽחֲבֵא־ר֖וּחַ וְסֵ֣תֶר זָ֑רֶם כְּפַלְגֵי־מַ֣יִם בְּצָי֔וֹן כְּצֵ֥ל סֶֽלַע־כָּבֵ֖ד בְּאֶ֥רֶץ עֲיֵפָֽה׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:2 Each will be like a refuge from the wind And a shelter from the storm, Like streams of water in a dry country, Like the shade of a huge rock in a parched land.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:3---- (Hebrew) 3 ׃32 וְלֹ֥א תִשְׁעֶ֖ינָה עֵינֵ֣י רֹאִ֑ים וְאָזְנֵ֥י שֹׁמְעִ֖ים תִּקְשַֽׁבְנָה׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:3 Then the eyes of those who see will not be blinded, And the ears of those who hear will listen.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:4---- (Hebrew) 4 ׃32 וּלְבַ֥ב נִמְהָרִ֖ים יָבִ֣ין לָדָ֑עַת וּלְשׁ֣וֹן עִלְּגִ֔ים תְּמַהֵ֖ר לְדַבֵּ֥ר צָחֽוֹת׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:4 The mind of the hasty will discern the truth, And the tongue of the stammerers will hasten to speak clearly.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:5---- (Hebrew) 5 ׃32 לֹֽא־יִקָּרֵ֥א ע֛וֹד לְנָבָ֖ל נָדִ֑יב וּלְכִילַ֕י לֹ֥א יֵֽאָמֵ֖ר שֽׁוֹעַ׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:5 No longer will the fool be called noble, Or the rogue be spoken of as generous.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:6---- (Hebrew) 6 ׃32 כִּ֤י נָבָל֙ נְבָלָ֣ה יְדַבֵּ֔ר וְלִבּ֖וֹ יַעֲשֶׂה־אָ֑וֶן לַעֲשׂ֣וֹת חֹ֗נֶף וּלְדַבֵּ֤ר אֶל־יְהוָה֙ תּוֹעָ֔ה לְהָרִיק֙ נֶ֣פֶשׁ רָעֵ֔ב וּמַשְׁקֶ֥ה צָמֵ֖א יַחְסִֽיר׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:6 For a fool speaks nonsense, And his heart inclines toward wickedness: To practice ungodliness and to speak error against the Lord, To keep the hungry person unsatisfied And to withhold drink from the thirsty.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:7---- (Hebrew) 7 ׃32 וְכֵלַ֖י כֵּלָ֣יו רָעִ֑ים ה֚וּא זִמּ֣וֹת יָעָ֔ץ לְחַבֵּ֤ל *ענוים **עֲנִיִּים֙ בְּאִמְרֵי־שֶׁ֔קֶר וּבְדַבֵּ֥ר אֶבְי֖וֹן מִשְׁפָּֽט׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:7 As for a rogue, his weapons are evil; He devises wicked schemes To destroy the afflicted with slander, Even though the needy one speaks what is right.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:8---- (Hebrew) 8 ׃32 וְנָדִ֖יב נְדִיב֣וֹת יָעָ֑ץ וְה֖וּא עַל־נְדִיב֥וֹת יָקֽוּם׃ פ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:8 But the noble man devises noble plans; And by noble plans he stands.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:9---- (Hebrew) 9 ׃32 נָשִׁים֙ שַֽׁאֲנַנּ֔וֹת קֹ֖מְנָה שְׁמַ֣עְנָה קוֹלִ֑י בָּנוֹת֙ בֹּֽטח֔וֹת הַאְזֵ֖נָּה אִמְרָתִֽי׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:9 Rise up, you women who are at ease, And hear my voice; Give ear to my word, You complacent daughters.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:10---- (Hebrew) 10 ׃32 יָמִים֙ עַל־שָׁנָ֔ה תִּרְגַּ֖זְנָה בֹּֽטְח֑וֹת כִּ֚י כָּלָ֣ה בָצִ֔יר אֹ֖סֶף בְּלִ֥י יָבֽוֹא׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:10 Within a year and a few days You will be troubled, O complacent daughters; Hill and watch-tower have become caves forever, A delight for wild donkeys, a pasture for flocks;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:15---- (Hebrew) 15 ׃32 עַד־יֵ֨עָרֶ֥ה עָלֵ֛ינוּ ר֖וּחַ מִמָּר֑וֹם וְהָיָ֤ה מִדְבָּר֙ לַכַּרְמֶ֔ל *וכרמל **וְהַכַּרְמֶ֖ל לַיַּ֥עַר יֵחָשֵֽׁב׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:15 Until the Spirit is poured out upon us from on high, And the wilderness becomes a fertile field, And the fertile field is considered as a forest.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:16---- (Hebrew) 16 ׃32 וְשָׁכַ֥ן בַּמִּדְבָּ֖ר מִשְׁפָּ֑ט וּצְדָקָ֖ה בַּכַּרְמֶ֥ל תֵּשֵֽׁב׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:16 Then justice will dwell in the wilderness And righteousness will abide in the fertile field.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:17---- (Hebrew) 17 ׃32 וְהָיָ֛ה מַעֲשֵׂ֥ה הַצְּדָקָ֖ה שָׁל֑וֹם וַֽעֲבֹדַת֙ הַצְּדָקָ֔ה הַשְׁקֵ֥ט וָבֶ֖טַח עַד־עוֹלָֽם׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:17 And the work of righteousness will be peace, And the service of righteousness, quietness and confidence forever.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:18---- (Hebrew) 18 ׃32 וְיָשַׁ֥ב עַמִּ֖י בִּנְוֵ֣ה שָׁל֑וֹם וּֽבְמִשְׁכְּנוֹת֙ מִבְטַחִ֔ים וּבִמְנוּחֹ֖ת שַׁאֲנַנּֽוֹת׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:18 Then my people will live in a peaceful habitation, And in secure dwellings and in undisturbed resting places;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:19---- (Hebrew) 19 ׃32 וּבָרַ֖ד בְּרֶ֣דֶת הַיָּ֑עַר וּבַשִּׁפְלָ֖ה תִּשְׁפַּ֥ל הָעִֽיר׃ Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:19 And it will hail when the forest comes down, And the city will be utterly laid low.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 32:20---- (Hebrew) 20 ׃32 אַשְׁרֵיכֶ֕ם זֹרְעֵ֖י עַל־כָּל־מָ֑יִם מְשַׁלְּחֵ֥י רֶֽגֶל־הַשּׁ֖וֹר וְהַחֲמֽוֹר׃ ס Isaiah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Isa 32:20 How blessed will you be, you who sow beside all waters, Who let out freely the ox and the donkey.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Isaiah 33:1 ---- written 740-680 B.C.
