(Hebrew) 1 ׃30 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:1 The word of the Lord came again to me saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:2---- (Hebrew) 2 ׃30 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם הִנָּבֵא֙ וְאָ֣מַרְתָּ֔ כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה הֵילִ֖ילוּ הָ֥הּ לַיּֽוֹם׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:2 "Son of man, prophesy and say, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Wail, 'Alas for the day!'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:3---- (Hebrew) 3 ׃30 כִּֽי־קָר֣וֹב י֔וֹם וְקָר֥וֹב י֖וֹם לַֽיהוָ֑ה י֣וֹם עָנָ֔ן עֵ֥ת גּוֹיִ֖ם יִֽהְיֶֽה׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:3 "For the day is near, Even the day of the Lord is near; It will be a day of clouds, A time of doom for the nations.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:4---- (Hebrew) 4 ׃30 וּבָאָ֥ה חֶ֙רֶב֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְהָיְתָ֤ה חַלְחָלָה֙ בְּכ֔וּשׁ בִּנְפֹ֥ל חָלָ֖ל בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְלָקְח֣וּ הֲמוֹנָ֔הּ וְנֶהֶרְס֖וּ יְסוֹדֹתֶֽיהָ׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:4 "A sword will come upon Egypt, And anguish will be in Ethiopia; When the slain fall in Egypt, They take away her wealth, And her foundations are torn down.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:5---- (Hebrew) 5 ׃30 כּ֣וּשׁ וּפ֤וּט וְלוּד֙ וְכָל־הָעֶ֣רֶב וְכ֔וּב וּבְנֵ֖י אֶ֣רֶץ הַבְּרִ֑ית אִתָּ֖ם בַּחֶ֥רֶב יִפֹּֽלוּ׃ פ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:5 Ethiopia, Put, Lud, all Arabia, Libya and the people of the land that is in league will fall with them by the sword."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:6---- (Hebrew) 6 ׃30 כֹּ֚ה אָמַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה וְנָֽפְלוּ֙ סֹמְכֵ֣י מִצְרַ֔יִם וְיָרַ֖ד גְּא֣וֹן עֻזָּ֑הּ מִמִּגְדֹּ֣ל סְוֵנֵ֗ה בַּחֶ֙רֶב֙ יִפְּלוּ־בָ֔הּ נְאֻ֖ם אֲדֹנָ֥י יְהוִֽה׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:6 'Thus says the Lord, "Indeed, those who support Egypt will fall And the pride of her power will come down; From Migdol to Syene They will fall within her by the sword," Declares the Lord God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:7---- (Hebrew) 7 ׃30 וְנָשַׁ֕מּוּ בְּת֖וֹךְ אֲרָצ֣וֹת נְשַׁמּ֑וֹת וְעָרָ֕יו בְּתוֹךְ־עָרִ֥ים נַחֲרָב֖וֹת תִּֽהְיֶֽינָה׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:7 "They will be desolate In the midst of the desolated lands; And her cities will be In the midst of the devastated cities.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:8---- (Hebrew) 8 ׃30 וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֑ה בְּתִתִּי־אֵ֣שׁ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם וְנִשְׁבְּר֖וּ כָּל־עֹזְרֶֽיהָ׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:8 "And they will know that I am the Lord, When I set a fire in Egypt And all her helpers are broken.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:9---- (Hebrew) 9 ׃30 בַּיּ֣וֹם הַה֗וּא יֵצְא֨וּ מַלְאָכִ֤ים מִלְּפָנַי֙ בַּצִּ֔ים לְהַחֲרִ֖יד אֶת־כּ֣וּשׁ בֶּ֑טַח וְהָיְתָ֨ה חַלְחָלָ֤ה בָהֶם֙ בְּי֣וֹם מִצְרַ֔יִם כִּ֥י הִנֵּ֖ה בָּאָֽה׃ ס Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:9 On that day messengers will go forth from Me in ships to frighten secure Ethiopia; and anguish will be on them as on the day of Egypt; for behold, it comes!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:10---- (Hebrew) 10 ׃30 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה וְהִשְׁבַּתִּי֙ אֶת־הֲמ֣וֹן מִצְרַ֔יִם בְּיַ֖ד נְבוּכַדְרֶאצַּ֥ר מֶלֶךְ־בָּבֶֽל׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:10 'Thus says the Lord God, "I will also make the hordes of Egypt cease By the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:11---- (Hebrew) 11 ׃30 ה֠וּא וְעַמּ֤וֹ אִתּוֹ֙ עָרִיצֵ֣י גוֹיִ֔ם מֽוּבָאִ֖ים לְשַׁחֵ֣ת הָאָ֑רֶץ וְהֵרִ֤יקוּ חַרְבוֹתָם֙ עַל־מִצְרַ֔יִם וּמָלְא֥וּ אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ חָלָֽל׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:11 "He and his people with him, The most ruthless of the nations, Will be brought in to destroy the land; And they will draw their swords against Egypt And fill the land with the slain.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:12---- (Hebrew) 12 ׃30 וְנָתַתִּ֤י יְאֹרִים֙ חָֽרָבָ֔ה וּמָכַרְתִּ֥י אֶת־הָאָ֖רֶץ בְּיַד־רָעִ֑ים וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִ֞י אֶ֤רֶץ וּמְלֹאָהּ֙ בְּיַד־זָרִ֔ים אֲנִ֥י יְהוָ֖ה דִּבַּֽרְתִּי׃ ס Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:12 "Moreover, I will make the Nile canals dry And sell the land into the hands of evil men. And I will make the land desolate And all that is in it, By the hand of strangers; I the Lord have spoken."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:13---- (Hebrew) 13 ׃30 כֹּֽה־אָמַ֞ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֗ה וְהַאֲבַדְתִּ֨י גִלּוּלִ֜ים וְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֤י אֱלִילִים֙ מִנֹּ֔ף וְנָשִׂ֥יא מֵאֶֽרֶץ־מִצְרַ֖יִם לֹ֣א יִֽהְיֶה־ע֑וֹד וְנָתַתִּ֥י יִרְאָ֖ה בְּאֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:13 'Thus says the Lord God, "I will also destroy the idols And make the images cease from Memphis. And there will no longer be a prince in the land of Egypt; And I will put fear in the land of Egypt.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:14---- (Hebrew) 14 ׃30 וַהֲשִׁמֹּתִי֙ אֶת־פַּתְר֔וֹס וְנָתַ֥תִּי אֵ֖שׁ בְּצֹ֑עַן וְעָשִׂ֥יתִי שְׁפָטִ֖ים בְּנֹֽא׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:14 "I will make Pathros desolate, Set a fire in Zoan And execute judgments on Thebes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:15---- (Hebrew) 15 ׃30 וְשָׁפַכְתִּ֣י חֲמָתִ֔י עַל־סִ֖ין מָע֣וֹז מִצְרָ֑יִם וְהִכְרַתִּ֖י אֶת־הֲמ֥וֹן נֹֽא׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:15 "I will pour out My wrath on Sin, The stronghold of Egypt; I will also cut off the hordes of Thebes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:16---- (Hebrew) 16 ׃30 וְנָתַ֤תִּי אֵשׁ֙ בְּמִצְרַ֔יִם ח֤וּל *תחיל **תָּחוּל֙ סִ֔ין וְנֹ֖א תִּהְיֶ֣ה לְהִבָּקֵ֑עַ וְנֹ֖ף צָרֵ֥י יוֹמָֽם׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:16 "I will set a fire in Egypt; Sin will writhe in anguish, Thebes will be breached And Memphis will have distresses daily.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:17---- (Hebrew) 17 ׃30 בַּח֥וּרֵי אָ֛וֶן וּפִי־בֶ֖סֶת בַּחֶ֣רֶב יִפֹּ֑לוּ וְהֵ֖נָּה בַּשְּׁבִ֥י תֵלַֽכְנָה׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:17 "The young men of On and of Pi-beseth Will fall by the sword, And the women will go into captivity.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:18---- (Hebrew) 18 ׃30 וּבִֽתְחַפְנְחֵס֙ חָשַׂ֣ךְ הַיּ֔וֹם בְּשִׁבְרִי־שָׁם֙ אֶת־מֹט֣וֹת מִצְרַ֔יִם וְנִשְׁבַּת־בָּ֖הּ גְּא֣וֹן עֻזָּ֑הּ הִ֚יא עָנָ֣ן יְכַסֶּ֔נָּה וּבְנוֹתֶ֖יהָ בַּשְּׁבִ֥י תֵלַֽכְנָה׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:18 "In Tehaphnehes the day will be dark When I break there the yoke bars of Egypt. Then the pride of her power will cease in her; A cloud will cover her, And her daughters will go into captivity.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:19---- (Hebrew) 19 ׃30 וְעָשִׂ֥יתִי שְׁפָטִ֖ים בְּמִצְרָ֑יִם וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ פ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:19 "Thus I will execute judgments on Egypt, And they will know that I am the Lord."'"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:20---- (Hebrew) 20 ׃30 וַיְהִ֗י בְּאַחַ֤ת עֶשְׂרֵה֙ שָׁנָ֔ה בָּֽרִאשׁ֖וֹן בְּשִׁבְעָ֣ה לַחֹ֑דֶשׁ הָיָ֥ה דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:20 In the eleventh year, in the first month, on the seventh of the month, the word of the Lord came to me saying,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:21---- (Hebrew) 21 ׃30 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם אֶת־זְר֛וֹעַ פַּרְעֹ֥ה מֶֽלֶךְ־מִצְרַ֖יִם שָׁבָ֑רְתִּי וְהִנֵּ֣ה לֹֽא־חֻ֠בְּשָׁה לָתֵ֨ת רְפֻא֜וֹת לָשׂ֥וּם חִתּ֛וּל לְחָבְשָׁ֥הּ לְחָזְקָ֖הּ לִתְפֹּ֥שׂ בֶּחָֽרֶב׃ ס Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:21 "Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, behold, it has not been bound up for healing or wrapped with a bandage, that it may be strong to hold the sword.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:22---- (Hebrew) 22 ׃30 לָכֵ֞ן כֹּה־אָמַ֣ר ׀ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהֹוִ֗ה הִנְנִי֙ אֶל־פַּרְעֹ֣ה מֶֽלֶךְ־מִצְרַ֔יִם וְשָֽׁבַרְתִּי֙ אֶת־זְרֹ֣עֹתָ֔יו אֶת־הַחֲזָקָ֖ה וְאֶת־הַנִּשְׁבָּ֑רֶת וְהִפַּלְתִּ֥י אֶת־הַחֶ֖רֶב מִיָּדֽוֹ׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:22 Therefore thus says the Lord God, 'Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt and will break his arms, both the strong and the broken; and I will make the sword fall from his hand.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:23---- (Hebrew) 23 ׃30 וַהֲפִצוֹתִ֥י אֶת־מִצְרַ֖יִם בַּגּוֹיִ֑ם וְזֵרִיתִ֖ם בָּאֲרָצֽוֹת׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:23 I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations and disperse them among the lands.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:24---- (Hebrew) 24 ׃30 וְחִזַּקְתִּ֗י אֶת־זְרֹעוֹת֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֔ל וְנָתַתִּ֥י אֶת־חַרְבִּ֖י בְּיָד֑וֹ וְשָׁבַרְתִּי֙ אֶת־זְרֹע֣וֹת פַּרְעֹ֔ה וְנָאַ֛ק נַאֲק֥וֹת חָלָ֖ל לְפָנָֽיו׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:24 For I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon and put My sword in his hand; and I will break the arms of Pharaoh, so that he will groan before him with the groanings of a wounded man.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Ezekiel 30:25---- (Hebrew) 25 ׃30 וְהַחֲזַקְתִּ֗י אֶת־זְרֹעוֹת֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ בָּבֶ֔ל וּזְרֹע֥וֹת פַּרְעֹ֖ה תִּפֹּ֑לְנָה וְֽיָדְע֞וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָ֗ה בְּתִתִּ֤י חַרְבִּי֙ בְּיַ֣ד מֶֽלֶךְ־בָּבֶ֔ל וְנָטָ֥ה אוֹתָ֖הּ אֶל־אֶ֥רֶץ מִצְרָֽיִם׃ Ezekiel -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eze 30:25 Thus I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, but the arms of Pharaoh will fall.
