(Hebrew) 2 ׃2 וַיִּתְפַּלֵּ֣ל יוֹנָ֔ה אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהָ֑יו מִמְּעֵ֖י הַדָּגָֽה׃ Jonah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 2:1 Then Jonah prayed to the Lord his God from the stomach of the fish,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 2:2---- (Hebrew) 3 ׃2 וַיֹּ֗אמֶר קָ֠רָאתִי מִצָּ֥רָה לִ֛י אֶל־יְהוָ֖ה וַֽיַּעֲנֵ֑נִי מִבֶּ֧טֶן שְׁא֛וֹל שִׁוַּ֖עְתִּי שָׁמַ֥עְתָּ קוֹלִֽי׃ Jonah -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 2:2 and he said, "I called out of my distress to the Lord, And He answered me. That which I have vowed I will pay.
