And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:4---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יֵשׁוּעַ רְאֵה אַל־תַּגֵּד לְאִישׁ רַק לֵךְ וְהֵרָאֵה לְעֵינֵי הַכֹּהֵן וְהַקְרֵב אֶת־הַקָּרְבָּן אֲשֶׁר צִוָּה מֹשֶׁה לְעֵדוּת לָהֶם׃ ד Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:4 And Jesus said to him, "See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and present the offering that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:5---- (Hebrew) וְכַאֲשֶׁר בָּא יֵשׁוּעַ אֶל־כְּפַר־נַחוּם וַיִּגַּשׁ אֵלָיו שַׂר־מֵאָה אֶחָד וַיִּתְחַנֶּן־לוֹ לֵאמֹר׃ ה Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:5 And when Jesus entered Capernaum, a centurion came to Him, imploring Him,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:6---- (Hebrew) אֲדֹנִי הִנֵּה נַעֲרִי נָפַל לְמִשְׁכָּב בְּבֵיתִי נְכֵה־עֲצָמוֹת וּמְעֻנֶּה מְאֹד׃ ו Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:6 and saying, "Lord, my servant is lying paralyzed at home, fearfully tormented."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:7---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יֵשׁוּעַ הִנְנִי בָא וּרְפָאתִיו׃ ז Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:7 Jesus said to him, "I will come and heal him."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:8---- (Hebrew) וַיַּעַן שַׂר־הַמֵּאָה וַיֹּאמַר אֲדֹנִי נְקַלֹּתִי מִזֹּאת כִּי אַתָּה תָבֹא בְצֵל קֹרָתִי אַךְ רַק דַּבְּרָה דָּבָר וְהַנַּעַר יֶחִי׃ ח Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:8 But the centurion said, "Lord, I am not worthy for You to come under my roof, but just say the word, and my servant will be healed.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:9---- (Hebrew) כִּי גַם־אֲנִי סָר לְמִשְׁמַעַת מֶמְשָׁלָה וַאֲנָשַׁי סָרִים לְמִשְׁמַעְתִּי וְכִי אֹמַר לְאֶחָד מֵהֶם לֵךְ וְיֵלֵךְ וּלְאַחֵר בֹּא וְיָבֹא וּלְעַבְדִּי עֲשֵׂה־זֹאת וְיַעֲשֶׂה׃ ט Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:9 For I also am a man under authority, with soldiers under me; and I say to this one, 'Go!' and he goes, and to another, 'Come!' and he comes, and to my slave, 'Do this!' and he does it."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:10---- (Hebrew) וַיִּשְׁמַע יֵשׁוּעַ וַיִּשְׁתָּאֶה וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־הַהֹלְכִים אַחֲרָיו אָמֵן אֲנִי מַגִּיד לָכֶם אֱמוּנָה גְּדוֹלָה כָמוֹהָ גַּם־בְּיִשְׂרָאֵל לֹא מָצָאתִי׃ י Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:10 Now when Jesus heard this, He marveled and said to those who were following," Truly I say to you, I have not found such great faith with anyone in Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:11---- (Hebrew) וְהִנְנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם כִּי רַבִּים יָבֹאוּ מִמִּזְרָח וּמִמַּעֲרָב וְיֵשְׁבוּ בִּמְסִבָּה עִם־אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיַעֲקֹב בְּמַלְכוּת הַשָּׁמָיִם׃ יא Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:11 I say to you that many will come from east and west, and recline at the table with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:12---- (Hebrew) וּבְנֵי הַמַּלְכוּת יִדַּחוּ אֶל־הַחֹשֶׁךְ הַחוּצָה שָׁם יִהְיֶה בְכִי וַחֲרֹק שִׁנָּיִם׃ יב Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:12 but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:13---- (Hebrew) וְאֶל־שַׂר־הַמֵּאָה אָמַר יֵשׁוּעַ לֵךְ כַּאֲשֶׁר הֶאֱמַנְתָּ כֵּן יָקוּם לָךְ וַיְחִי הַנַּעַר מֵחָלְיוֹ בַּשָּׁעָה הַהִיא׃ יג Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:13 And Jesus said to the centurion," Go; it shall be done for you as you have believed." "He Himself took our infirmities and carried away our diseases."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:18---- (Hebrew) וַיְהִי כִּרְאוֹת יֵשׁוּעַ הֲמוֹן עַם רָב סָבִיב־לוֹ וַיְצַו לַעֲבֹר מִשָּׁם אֶל־עֵבֶר הַיָּם׃ יח Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:18 Now when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, He gave orders to depart to the other side of the sea.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:19---- (Hebrew) וַיִּגַּשׁ אֵלָיו אַחַד הַסּוֹפְרִים וַיֹּאמֶר לוֹ רַבִּי אֵלֵךְ אַחֲרֶיךָ אֶל־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר תֵּלֵךְ׃ יט Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:19 Then a scribe came and said to Him, "Teacher, I will follow You wherever You go."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:20---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יֵשׁוּעַ הַשּׁוּעָלִים חוֹרִים לָהֶם וְצִפּוֹר הַשָּׁמַיִם קֵן לָהּ וּבֶן־הָאָדָם אֵין לוֹ מָקוֹם לְהָנִיחַ אֶת־רֹאשׁוֹ׃ כ Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:20 Jesus said to him, "The foxes have holes and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay His head."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:21---- (Hebrew) וְאִישׁ אַחֵר מִקֶּרֶב תַּלְמִידָיו אָמַר אֵלָיו אֲדֹנִי תְּנָה־לִּי לָלֶכֶת וְלִקְבֹּר אֶת־אָבִי רִאשֹׁנָה׃ כא Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:21 Another of the disciples said to Him, "Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:22---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יֵשׁוּעַ לֵךְ אַחֲרָי וְהַנַּח לַמֵּתִים לִקְבֹּר אֶת־מֵתֵיהֶם׃ כב Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:22 But Jesus said to him, "Follow Me, and allow the dead to bury their own dead."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:23---- (Hebrew) וַיֵּרֶד בָּאֳנִיָּה וְתַלְמִידָיו יָרְדוּ עִמּוֹ׃ כג Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:23 When He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:24---- (Hebrew) וְהִנֵּה סַעַר גָּדוֹל נֵעוֹר בַּיָּם עַד־כַּסּוֹת הַגַּלִּים אֶת־הָאֳנִיָּה וְהוּא נִרְדָּם׃ כד Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:24 And behold, there arose a great storm on the sea, so that the boat was being covered with the waves; but Jesus Himself was asleep.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:25---- (Hebrew) וַיִּגְּשׁוּ אֵלָיו וַיְעִירֻהוּ וַיִּקְרָאוּ הוֹשִׁיעָה אֲדֹנֵינוּ כִּי אָבָדְנוּ׃ כה Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:25 And they came to Him and woke Him, saying, "Save us, Lord; we are perishing!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Matthew 8:26---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם לָמָּה אַתֶּם חֲרֵדִים קְטַנֵּי אֱמֻנָה וַיָּקָם וַיִּגְעַר בָּרוּחוֹת וּבַיָּם וַתְּהִי דְּמָמָה גְדוֹלָה׃ כו Matthew -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mat 8:26 He said to them, "Why are you afraid, you men of little faith?"
