(Hebrew) וַיֵּצֵא מִן־הַהֵיכָל וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו אֶחָד מִתַּלְמִידָיו רַבִּי רְאֵה אֶת־הָאֲבָנִים וְאֶת־הַבִּנְיָנִים הָאֵלֶּה מַה־נֶּהְדָּרוּ׃ א Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:1 As He was going out of the temple, one of His disciples said to Him, "Teacher, behold what wonderful stones and what wonderful buildings!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:2---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו יֵשׁוּעַ הֲרָאִיתָ אֶת־הַבִּנְיָנִים הַנִּשְׂגָּבִים הָאֵלֶּה כֻּלָּם יֵהָרֵסוּ לֹא־תִשָּׁאֵר פֹּה אֶבֶן עַל־אָבֶן׃ ב Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:2 And Jesus said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone will be left upon another which will not be torn down."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:3---- (Hebrew) וּבְשִׁבְתּוֹ עַל־הַר הַזֵּיתִים לְנֹכַח הַהֵיכָל וַיִּשְׁאָלֻהוּ פֶטְרוֹס וְיַעֲקֹב וְיוֹחָנָן וְאַנְדְּרַי בִּהְיוֹתָם אִתּוֹ לְבַדָּם לֵאמֹר׃ ג Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:3 As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter and James and John and Andrew were questioning Him privately,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:4---- (Hebrew) הַגֶּד־נָא לָנוּ מָתַי תִּקְרֶאנָה אֵלֶּה וּמַה־הוּא הָאוֹת לַמּוֹעֵד הַהוּא כִּי כָל־אֵלֶּה תִּכְלֶינָה׃ ד Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:4 "Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign when all these things are going to be fulfilled?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:5---- (Hebrew) וַיָּחֶל יֵשׁוּעַ לְדַבֵּר אֲלֵיהֶם לֵאמֹר הִשָּׁמְרוּ לָכֶם פֶּן־יַתְעֶה אֶתְכֶם אִישׁ׃ ה Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:5 And Jesus began to say to them, "See to it that no one misleads you.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:6---- (Hebrew) כִּי רַבִּים יָבֹאוּ בִשְׁמִי וְאָמְרוּ כִּי אֲנִי הוּא וְהִתְעוּ אֶת־רַבִּים׃ ו Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:6 Many will come in My name, saying, 'I am He!' and will mislead many.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:7---- (Hebrew) וְכִי־תִשְׁמְעוּ קְרָבוֹת וּשְׁמֻעוֹת מִלְחָמָה אַל־תִּבָּהֵלוּ כָּל־אֵלֶּה תִּהְיֶינָה וְעוֹד לֹא־זֶה הַקֵּץ׃ ז Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:7 When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, do not be frightened; those things must take place; but that is not yet the end.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:8---- (Hebrew) כִּי־יָקוּם גּוֹי עַל־גּוֹי וּמַמְלָכָה עַל־מַמְלָכָה וְרַעַשׁ עַל־רַעַשׁ יָבֹא וְרָעָב מְהוּמוֹת וְכָל־אֵלֶּה רַק רֵאשִׁית הַחֲבָלִים׃ ח Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:8 For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; there will be earthquakes in various places; there will also be famines. These things are merely the beginning of birth pangs.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:9---- (Hebrew) וְאַתֶּם הִשָּׁמְרוּ בְנַפְשׁוֹתֵיכֶם כִּי־יַסְגִּירוּ אֶתְכֶם בִּידֵי הַסַּנְהֶדְרִין וְתֻכּוּ בְּבָתֵּי־הַכְּנֵסֶת וּבַעֲבוּרִי תַעַמְדוּ לִפְנֵי מֹשְׁלִים וּמְלָכִים לְעֵדוּת לָהֶם׃ ט Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:9 "But be on your guard; for they will deliver you to the courts, and you will be flogged in the synagogues, and you will stand before governors and kings for My sake, as a testimony to them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:10---- (Hebrew) וְהַבְּשׂוֹרָה תִקָּרֵא רִאשֹׁנָה בְּקֶרֶב כָּל־הַגּוֹיִם׃ י Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:10 The gospel must first be preached to all the nations.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:11---- (Hebrew) וְכִי־יוֹלִיכוּ אֶתְכֶם לְהַסְגִּירְכֶם בִּידֵי הַמִּשְׁפָּט אַל־תִּדְאֲגוּ וְאַל־תְּחַשְּׁבוּ בְּטֶרֶם בֹּא הַמּוֹעֵד מַה־תְּדַבֵּרוּ כִּי כַאֲשֶׁר יוּשַׂם בְּפִיכֶם בָּעֵת הַהִיא כֵּן תְּדַבְּרוּן כִּי לֹא אַתֶּם הַמְדַבְּרִים כִּי אִם־רוּחַ הַקֹּדֶשׁ׃ יא Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:11 When they arrest you and hand you over, do not worry beforehand about what you are to say, but say whatever is given you in that hour; for it is not you who speak, but it is the Holy Spirit.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:12---- (Hebrew) וְאָח יַסְגִּיר אֶת־אָחִיו לַמָּוֶת וְאָב אֶת־בְּנוֹ וְקָמוּ בָנִים עַל־אֲבוֹתָם וְהֵמִיתוּ אֹתָם׃ יב Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:12 Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and have them put to death.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:13---- (Hebrew) וְאַתֶּם שְׂנוּאִים תִּהְיוּ לְכָל־אָדָם לְמַעַן שְׁמִי אַךְ הַמְחַכֶּה עַד־הַקֵּץ הוּא יִוָּשֵׁעַ׃ יג Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:13 You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:14---- (Hebrew) וְכִי תִרְאוּ אֶת־הַשִּׁקּוּץ הַמְשֹׁמֵם הַנֶּאֱמָר בְּיַד־דָּנִיֵּאל הַנָּבִיא עֹמֵד בַּמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר לֹא נָכוֹן לוֹ הַקֹּרֵא יָבִין אָז אֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר בִּיהוּדָה יָנוּסוּ אֶל־הֶהָרִים׃ יד Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:14 "But when you see the abomination of desolation standing where it should not be (let the reader understand), then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:15---- (Hebrew) וּמִי אֲשֶׁר עַל־הַגָּג לֹא יֵרֵד הַבָּיְתָה וְלֹא יָבֹא לָקַחַת מִתּוֹכוֹ מְאוּמָה׃ טו Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:15 The one who is on the housetop must not go down, or go in to get anything out of his house;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:16---- (Hebrew) וּמִי אֲשֶׁר בַּשָּׂדֶה לֹא יָשׁוּב לְבֵיתוֹ לָקַחַת אֶת־שִׂמְלָתוֹ׃ טז Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:16 and the one who is in the field must not turn back to get his coat.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:17---- (Hebrew) אַךְ אוֹי לֶהָרוֹת וְלַמֵּינִיקוֹת בַּיָּמִים הָהֵמָּה׃ יז Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:17 But woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days!(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:18---- (Hebrew) וְאַתֶּם הִתְפַּלֵלוּ לְבִלְתִּי תִהְיֶה זֹאת בַּחֹרֶף׃ יח Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:18 But pray that it may not happen in the winter.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:19---- (Hebrew) כִּי הַיָּמִים הָאֵלֶּה יְמֵי צָרָה הֵם אֲשֶׁר כָּמוֹהָ לֹא־הָיְתָה מֵרֵאשִׁית יְמֵי הַבְּרִיאָה אֲשֶׁר בָּרָא אֱלֹהִים עַד־הַיּוֹם הַזֶּה וְכָמוֹהָ לֹא־תֹסִף׃ יט Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:19 For those days will be a time of tribulation such as has not occurred since the beginning of the creation which God created until now, and never will.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:20---- (Hebrew) וְלוּלֵא יְקַצֵּר יְהוָֹה אֶת־הַיָּמִים הָאֵלֶּה לֹא־יִנָּצֵל כָּל־בָּשָׂר אַךְ לְמַעַן בְּחִירָיו אֲשֶׁר רָצָה בָם יְקַצֵּר אֶת־הַיָּמִים הָאֵלֶּה׃ כ Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:20 Unless the Lord had shortened those days, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect, whom He chose, He shortened the days.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:21---- (Hebrew) וְאָז אִם־יֹאמַר אֲלֵיכֶם אִישׁ הִנֵּה הַמָּשִׁיחַ פֹּה אוֹ הִנּוֹ שָׁם אַל־תַּאֲמִינוּ׃ כא Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:21 And then if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Christ'; or, 'Behold, He is there'; do not believe him;(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:22---- (Hebrew) כִּי מְשִׁיחֵי שֶׁקֶר וּנְבִיאֵי כָזָב יָקוּמוּ וְנָתְנוּ אֹתוֹת וּמוֹפְתִים לְנַסּוֹת אִם יֶשׁ־לְאֵל יָדָם לְהַתְעוֹת גַּם־אֶת־הַבְּחִירִים׃ כב Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:22 for false Christs and false prophets will arise, and will show signs and wonders, in order to lead astray, if possible, the elect.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Mark 13:23---- (Hebrew) וְאַתֶּם הִשָּׁמְרוּ בְנַפְשׁוֹתֵיכֶם רְאוּ כִּי מֵרֹאשׁ הִגַּדְתִּי לָכֶם אֶת־כֹּל׃ כג Mark -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mar 13:23 But take heed;
