So Jesus, being wearied from His journey, was sitting thus by the well. this you have said truly."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:19---- (Hebrew) וַתֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הָאִשָּׁה אֲדֹנִי רֹאָה אָנֹכִי כִּי נָבִיא אָתָּה׃ יט John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:19 The woman said to Him, "Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:20---- (Hebrew) אֲבֹתֵינוּ הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ בָּהָר הַזֶּה וְאַתֶּם אֹמְרִים כִּי יְרוּשָׁלַיִם הַמָּקוֹם לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹת׃ כ John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:20 Our fathers worshiped in this mountain, and you people say that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:21---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלֶיהָ יֵשׁוּעַ הַאֲמִינִי לִי אִשָּׁה כִּי תָבֹא עֵת אֲשֶׁר לֹא־בָּהָר הַזֶּה וְלֹא בִירוּשָׁלַיִם תִּשְׁתַּחֲווּ לָאָב׃ כא John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:21 Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when neither in this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:22---- (Hebrew) אַתֶּם מִשְׁתַּחֲוִים אֶל־אֲשֶׁר לֹא תֵדְעוּן וַאֲנַחְנוּ מִשְׁתַּחֲוִים אֶל־אֲשֶׁר נֵדָע כִּי הַיְשׁוּעָה בָאָה מִמְּקוֹר הַיְּהוּדִים׃ כב John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:23---- (Hebrew) אַךְ תָּבֹא עֵת וְגַם־הִיא בָאָה וְהַמִּשְׁתַּחֲוִים הַנֶּאֶמָנִים יִשְׁתַּחֲווּ לָאָב בָּרוּחַ וּבָאֶמֶת כִּי בְּמִשְׁתַּחֲוִים כָּאֵלֶה חָפֵץ הָאָב׃ כג John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:23 But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:24---- (Hebrew) הָאֱלֹהִים הוּא רוּחַ וְהַמִּשְׁתַּחֲוִים לוֹ עֲלֵיהֶם לְהִשְׁתַּחֲוֹת בְּרוּחַ וּבֶאֱמֶת׃ כד John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:24 God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:25---- (Hebrew) וַתֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו הָאִשָּׁה יָדַעְתִּי כִּי־יָבֹא מָשִׁיחַ עהַנִּקְרָא כְרִיסְטוֹסא וְכַאֲשֶׁר יָבֹא יַגִּיד לָנוּ אֶת־כֹּל׃ כה John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:25 The woman said to Him, "I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:26---- (Hebrew) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלֶיהָ יֵשׁוּעַ אֲנִי הוּא הַמְדַבֵּר אֵלָיִךְ׃ כו John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:26 Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am He."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:27---- (Hebrew) עוֹד דְּבָרוֹ בְּפִיו וְתַלְמִידָיו בָּאוּ וַיִּתְמְהוּ עַל־דַּבְּרוֹ עִם־אִשָּׁה אַךְ אִישׁ לֹא אָמַר מַה־תְּבַקֵּשׁ אוֹ לָמָּה תְדַּבֵּר אֵלֶיהָ׃ כז John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:27 At this point His disciples came, and they were amazed that He had been speaking with a woman, yet no one said, "What do You seek?" or, "Why do You speak with her?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:28---- (Hebrew) וְהָאִשָּׁה עָזְבָה אֶת־כַּדָּהּ וַתֵּלֶךְ הָעִירָה וַתֹּאמֶר אֶל־הָעָם׃ כח John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:28 So the woman left her waterpot, and went into the city and said to the men,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- John 4:29---- (Hebrew) בֹּאוּ וּרְאוּ אִישׁ אֲשֶׁר הִגִּיד לִי כָּל־אֲשֶׁר עָשִׂיתִי הַאֵין זֶה הוּא הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ כט John -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jn 4:29 "Come, see a man who told me all the things that I have done;
