There is a sin leading to death; I do not say that he should make request for this.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 John 5:17---- (Hebrew) כָּל־מַעֲשֶׂה אֲשֶׁר לֹא נָכוֹן חֵטְא הוּא וְיֶשׁ־חֵטְא אֵין מָוֶת בּוֹ׃ יז John1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Jn 5:17 All unrighteousness is sin, and there is a sin not leading to death.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 John 5:18---- (Hebrew) יָדַעְנוּ כִּי כָל־הַיִּלּוֹד מֵאֵת אֱלֹהִים לֹא יֶחֱטָא כִּי הַיִּלּוֹד מֵאֵת אֱלֹהִים יִשְׁמֹר אֶת־נַפְשׁוֹ וְהָרָע לֹא־יִגַּע בּוֹ׃ יח John1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Jn 5:18 We know that no one who is born of God sins; but He who was born of God keeps him, and the evil one does not touch him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 John 5:19---- (Hebrew) יָדַעְנוּ כִּי מֵאֵת אֱלֹהִים אֲנָחְנוּ וְכָל־הָעוֹלָם בְּרָע הוּא׃ יט John1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Jn 5:19 We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 1 John 5:20---- (Hebrew) וְיָדַעְנוּ כִּי בֶן־הָאֱלֹהִים בָּא וַיִּתֶּן־לָנוּ לֵב לְהַשְׂכִּיל אֹתוֹ אֲשֶׁר הוּא אָמֵן וְלוֹ אֲנַחְנוּ אֲשֶׁר הוּא אָמֵן הוּא יֵשׁוּעַ הַמָּשִׁיחַ בְּנוֹ זֶה הוּא אֱלֹהֵי אָמֵן וְחַיֵּי־עַד׃ כ John1 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 1Jn 5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ.
