And the Lord said to him, "Go up." So David said, "Where shall I go up?" Why should I strike you to the ground? Lalu Abner menusuk ke belakang ke perut Asael dengan tombaknya, sehingga tombak itu menembus belakangnya; dan rebahlah ia di sana dan mati di tempat itu juga. Do you not know that it will be bitter in the end?
