ヨシュア記 5:1 ヨルダンの向こう側、すなわち西の方におるアモリびとの王たちと、海べにおるカナンびとの王たちとは皆、主がイスラエルの人々の前で、ヨルダンの水を干しからして、彼らを渡らせられたと聞いて、イスラエルの人々のゆえに、心は消え、彼らのうちに、もはや元気もなくなった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:1 Now it came about when all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard how the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the sons of Israel until they had crossed, that their hearts melted, and there was no spirit in them any longer because of the sons of Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:2---- ヨシュア記 5:2 その時、主はヨシュアに言われた、「火打石の小刀を造り、重ねてまたイスラエルの人々に割礼を行いなさい」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:2 At that time the Lord said to Joshua, "Make for yourself flint knives and circumcise again the sons of Israel the second time."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:3---- ヨシュア記 5:3 そこでヨシュアは火打石の小刀を造り、陽皮の丘で、イスラエルの人々に割礼を行った。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:3 So Joshua made himself flint knives and circumcised the sons of Israel at Gibeath-haaraloth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:4---- ヨシュア記 5:4 ヨシュアが人々に割礼を行った理由はこうである。エジプトから出てきた民のうちの、すべての男子、すなわち、いくさびとたちは皆、エジプトを出た後、途中、荒野で死んだが、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:4 This is the reason why Joshua circumcised them: all the people who came out of Egypt who were males, all the men of war, died in the wilderness along the way after they came out of Egypt.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:5---- ヨシュア記 5:5 その出てきた民は皆、割礼を受けた者であった。しかし、エジプトを出た後に、途中、荒野で生まれた民は、みな割礼を受けていなかった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:5 For all the people who came out were circumcised, but all the people who were born in the wilderness along the way as they came out of Egypt had not been circumcised.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:6---- ヨシュア記 5:6 イスラエルの人々は四十年の間、荒野を歩いていて、そのエジプトから出てきた民、すなわち、いくさびとたちは、みな死に絶えた。これは彼らが主の声に聞き従わなかったので、主は彼らの先祖たちに誓って、われわれに与えると仰せられた地、乳と蜜の流れる地を、彼らに見させないと誓われたからである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:6 For the sons of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, until all the nation, that is, the men of war who came out of Egypt, perished because they did not listen to the voice of the Lord, to whom the Lord had sworn that He would not let them see the land which the Lord had sworn to their fathers to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:7---- ヨシュア記 5:7 ヨシュアが割礼を行ったのは、この人々についで起されたその子どもたちであった。彼らは途中で割礼を受けていなかったので、無割礼の者であったからである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:7 Their children whom He raised up in their place, Joshua circumcised; for they were uncircumcised, because they had not circumcised them along the way.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:8---- ヨシュア記 5:8 すべての民に割礼を行うことが終ったので、民は宿営のうちの自分の所にとどまって傷の直るのを待った。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:8 Now when they had finished circumcising all the nation, they remained in their places in the camp until they were healed.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:9---- ヨシュア記 5:9 その時、主はヨシュアに言われた、「きょう、わたしはエジプトのはずかしめを、あなたがたからころがし去った」。それでその所の名は、今日までギルガルと呼ばれている。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:9 Then the Lord said to Joshua, "Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you."
