歴代誌Ⅱ 22:1 エルサレムの民はヨラムの末の子アハジヤを彼の代りに王とした。かつてアラビヤびとと一緒に陣営に攻めてきた一隊の者が上の子たちをことごとく殺したので、ユダの王ヨラムの子アハジヤが王となったのである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 22:1 Then the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah, his youngest son, king in his place, for the band of men who came with the Arabs to the camp had slain all the older sons. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah began to reign.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 22:2---- 歴代誌Ⅱ 22:2 アハジヤは王となった時四十二歳で、エルサレムで一年の間世を治めた。その母はオムリの娘で名をアタリヤといった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 22:2 Ahaziah was twenty-two years old when he became king, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. For when he came, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the Lord had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 22:8---- 歴代誌Ⅱ 22:8 エヒウはアハブの家を罰するにあたって、ユダのつかさたち、およびアハジヤの兄弟たちの子らがアハジヤに仕えているのを見たので、彼らをも殺した。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 22:8 It came about when Jehu was executing judgment on the house of Ahab, he found the princes of Judah and the sons of Ahaziah's brothers ministering to Ahaziah, and slew them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 22:9---- 歴代誌Ⅱ 22:9 アハジヤはサマリヤに隠れていたが、エヒウが彼を捜し求めたので、人々は彼を捕え、エヒウのもとに引いてきて、彼を殺した。ただし「彼は心をつくして主を求めたヨシャパテの子である」と人々は言ったのでこれを葬った。こうしてアハジヤの家には国を統べ治めうる者がなくなった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 22:9 He also sought Ahaziah, and they caught him while he was hiding in Samaria; they brought him to Jehu, put him to death and buried him. For they said, "He is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the Lord with all his heart." So there was no one of the house of Ahaziah to retain the power of the kingdom.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 22:10---- 歴代誌Ⅱ 22:10 アハジヤの母アタリヤは自分の子の死んだのを見て、立ってユダの家の王子をことごとく滅ぼしたが、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 22:10 Now when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she rose and destroyed all the royal offspring of the house of Judah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 22:11---- 歴代誌Ⅱ 22:11 王の娘エホシバはアハジヤの子ヨアシを王の子たちの殺される者のうちから盗み取り、彼とそのうばを寝室においた。こうしてエホシバがヨアシをアタリヤから隠したので、アタリヤはヨアシを殺さなかった。エホシバはヨラム王の娘、またアハジヤの妹で、祭司エホヤダの妻である。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 22:11 But Jehoshabeath the king's daughter took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons who were being put to death, and placed him and his nurse in the bedroom.
