ダニエル書 1:1 ¶ ユダの王エホヤキムの治世の第三年にバビロンの王ネブカデネザルはエルサレムにきて、これを攻め囲んだ。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon came to Jerusalem and besieged it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:2---- ダニエル書 1:2 主はユダの王エホヤキムと、神の宮の器具の一部とを、彼の手にわたされたので、彼はこれをシナルの地の自分の神の宮に携えゆき、その器具を自分の神の蔵に納めた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:2 The Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, along with some of the vessels of the house of God; and he brought them to the land of Shinar, to the house of his god, and he brought the vessels into the treasury of his god.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:3---- ダニエル書 1:3 時に王は宦官の長アシペナズに、イスラエルの人々の中から、王の血統の者と、貴族たる者数人とを、連れて来るように命じた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:3 Then the king ordered Ashpenaz, the chief of his officials, to bring in some of the sons of Israel, including some of the royal family and of the nobles,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:4---- ダニエル書 1:4 すなわち身に傷がなく、容姿が美しく、すべての知恵にさとく、知識があって、思慮深く、王の宮に仕えるに足る若者を連れてこさせ、これにカルデヤびとの文学と言語とを学ばせようとした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:4 youths in whom was no defect, who were good-looking, showing intelligence in every branch of wisdom, endowed with understanding and discerning knowledge, and who had ability for serving in the king's court; and he ordered him to teach them the literature and language of the Chaldeans.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:5---- ダニエル書 1:5 そして王は王の食べる食物と、王の飲む酒の中から、日々の分を彼らに与えて、三年のあいだ彼らを養い育て、その後、彼らをして王の前に、はべらせようとした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:5 The king appointed for them a daily ration from the king's choice food and from the wine which he drank, and appointed that they should be educated three years, at the end of which they were to enter the king's personal service.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:6---- ダニエル書 1:6 彼らのうちに、ユダの部族のダニエル、ハナニヤ、ミシャエル、アザリヤがあった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:6 Now among them from the sons of Judah were Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:7---- ダニエル書 1:7 宦官の長は彼らに名を与えて、ダニエルをベルテシャザルと名づけ、ハナニヤをシャデラクと名づけ、ミシャエルをメシャクと名づけ、アザリヤをアベデネゴと名づけた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:7 Then the commander of the officials assigned new names to them; and to Daniel he assigned the name Belteshazzar, to Hananiah Shadrach, to Mishael Meshach and to Azariah Abed-nego.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:8---- ダニエル書 1:8 ダニエルは王の食物と、王の飲む酒とをもって、自分を汚すまいと、心に思い定めたので、自分を汚させることのないように、宦官の長に求めた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:8 But Daniel made up his mind that he would not defile himself with the king's choice food or with the wine which he drank; so he sought permission from the commander of the officials that he might not defile himself.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:9---- ダニエル書 1:9 神はダニエルをして、宦官の長の前に、恵みとあわれみとを得させられたので、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:9 Now God granted Daniel favor and compassion in the sight of the commander of the officials,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:10---- ダニエル書 1:10 宦官の長はダニエルに言った、「わが主なる王は、あなたがたの食べ物と、飲み物とを定められたので、わたしはあなたがたの健康の状態が、同年輩の若者たちよりも悪いと、王が見られることを恐れるのです。そうすればあなたがたのために、わたしのこうべが、王の前に危くなるでしょう」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:10 and the commander of the officials said to Daniel, "I am afraid of my lord the king, who has appointed your food and your drink; for why should he see your faces looking more haggard than the youths who are your own age? Then you would make me forfeit my head to the king."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:11---- ダニエル書 1:11 そこでダニエルは宦官の長がダニエル、ハナニヤ、ミシャエルおよびアザリヤの上に立てた家令に言った、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:11 But Daniel said to the overseer whom the commander of the officials had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:12---- ダニエル書 1:12 「どうぞ、しもべらを十日の間ためしてください。わたしたちにただ野菜を与えて食べさせ、水を飲ませ、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:12 "Please test your servants for ten days, and let us be given some vegetables to eat and water to drink.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:13---- ダニエル書 1:13 そしてわたしたちの顔色と、王の食物を食べる若者の顔色とをくらべて見て、あなたの見るところにしたがって、しもべらを扱ってください」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:13 Then let our appearance be observed in your presence and the appearance of the youths who are eating the king's choice food; and deal with your servants according to what you see."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:14---- ダニエル書 1:14 家令はこの事について彼らの言うところを聞きいれ、十日の間、彼らをためした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:14 So he listened to them in this matter and tested them for ten days.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:15---- ダニエル書 1:15 十日の終りになってみると、彼らの顔色は王の食物を食べたすべての若者よりも美しく、また肉も肥え太っていた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:15 At the end of ten days their appearance seemed better and they were fatter than all the youths who had been eating the king's choice food.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:16---- ダニエル書 1:16 それで家令は彼らの食物と、彼らの飲むべき酒とを除いて、彼らに野菜を与えた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:16 So the overseer continued to withhold their choice food and the wine they were to drink, and kept giving them vegetables.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:17---- ダニエル書 1:17 この四人の者には、神は知識を与え、すべての文学と知恵にさとい者とされた。ダニエルはまたすべての幻と夢とを理解した。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:17 As for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and intelligence in every branch of literature and wisdom; Daniel even understood all kinds of visions and dreams.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:18---- ダニエル書 1:18 さて、王が命じたところの若者を召し入れるまでの日数が過ぎたので、宦官の町は彼らをネブカデネザルの前に連れていった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:18 Then at the end of the days which the king had specified for presenting them, the commander of the officials presented them before Nebuchadnezzar.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:19---- ダニエル書 1:19 王が彼らと語ってみると、彼らすべての中にはダニエル、ハナニヤ、ミシャエル、アザリヤにならぶ者がなかったので、彼らは王の前にはべることとなった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:19 The king talked with them, and out of them all not one was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king's personal service.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:20---- ダニエル書 1:20 王が彼らにさまざまの事を尋ねてみると、彼らは知恵と理解において、全国の博士、法術士にまさること十倍であった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:20 As for every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king consulted them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and conjurers who were in all his realm.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 1:21---- ダニエル書 1:21 ダニエルはクロス王の元年まで仕えていた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dan 1:21 And Daniel continued until the first year of Cyrus the king.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Daniel 2:1 ---- written 537 B.C.
