================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:1 ---- written 445-425 B.C.---- Neh 6:1 Ketika Sanbalat dan Tobia dan Gesyem, orang Arab itu dan musuh-musuh kami yang lain mendengar, bahwa aku telah selesai membangun kembali tembok, sehingga tidak ada lagi lobang, walaupun sampai waktu itu di pintu-pintu gerbang belum kupasang pintunya,(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:1 Now when it was reported to Sanballat, Tobiah, to Geshem the Arab and to the rest of our enemies that I had rebuilt the wall, and that no breach remained in it, although at that time I had not set up the doors in the gates,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:2---- Neh 6:2 maka Sanbalat dan Gesyem mengutus orang kepadaku dengan pesan: "Mari, kita mengadakan pertemuan bersama di Kefirim, di lembah Ono!" Aku tidak bisa datang! Untuk apa pekerjaan ini terhenti oleh sebab aku meninggalkannya dan pergi kepada kamu!"(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:3 So I sent messengers to them, saying, "I am doing a great work and I cannot come down. Why should the work stop while I leave it and come down to you?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:4---- Neh 6:4 Sampai empat kali mereka mengirim pesan semacam itu kepadaku dan setiap kali aku berikan jawaban yang sama kepada mereka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:4 They sent messages to me four times in this manner, and I answered them in the same way.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:5---- Neh 6:5 Lalu dengan cara yang sama untuk kelima kalinya Sanbalat mengirim seorang anak buahnya kepadaku yang membawa surat yang terbuka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:5 Then Sanballat sent his servant to me in the same manner a fifth time with an open letter in his hand.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:6---- Neh 6:6 Dalam surat itu tertulis: "Ada desas-desus di antara bangsa-bangsa dan Gasymu membenarkannya, bahwa engkau dan orang-orang Yahudi berniat untuk memberontak, dan oleh sebab itu membangun kembali tembok. Lagipula, menurut kabar itu, engkau mau menjadi raja mereka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:6 In it was written, "It is reported among the nations, and Gashmu says, that you and the Jews are planning to rebel; therefore you are rebuilding the wall. And you are to be their king, according to these reports.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:7---- Neh 6:7 Bahkan engkau telah menunjuk nabi-nabi yang harus memberitakan tentang dirimu di Yerusalem, demikian: Ada seorang raja di Yehuda! Sekarang, berita seperti itu akan didengar raja. Oleh sebab itu, mari, kita sama-sama berunding!"(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:7 You have also appointed prophets to proclaim in Jerusalem concerning you, 'A king is in Judah!' And now it will be reported to the king according to these reports. So come now, let us take counsel together."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:8---- Neh 6:8 Tetapi aku mengirim orang kepadanya dengan balasan: "Hal seperti yang kausebut itu tidak pernah ada. Itu isapan jempolmu belaka!"(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:8 Then I sent a message to him saying, "Such things as you are saying have not been done, but you are inventing them in your own mind."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:9---- Neh 6:9 Karena mereka semua mau menakut-nakutkan kami, pikirnya: "Mereka akan membiarkan pekerjaan itu, sehingga tak dapat diselesaikan." Tetapi aku justru berusaha sekuat tenaga.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:9 For all of them were trying to frighten us, thinking, "They will become discouraged with the work and it will not be done." But now, O God, strengthen my hands.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:10---- Neh 6:10 Ketika aku pergi ke rumah Semaya bin Delaya bin Mehetabeel, sebab ia berhalangan datang, berkatalah ia: "Biarlah kita bertemu di rumah Allah, di dalam Bait Suci, dan mengunci pintu-pintunya, karena ada orang yang mau datang membunuh engkau, ya, malam ini mereka mau datang membunuh engkau."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:10 When I entered the house of Shemaiah the son of Delaiah, son of Mehetabel, who was confined at home, he said, "Let us meet together in the house of God, within the temple, and let us close the doors of the temple, for they are coming to kill you, and they are coming to kill you at night."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:11---- Neh 6:11 Tetapi kataku: "Orang manakah seperti aku ini yang akan melarikan diri? Orang manakah seperti aku ini dapat memasuki Bait Suci dan tinggal hidup? Aku tidak pergi!"(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:11 But I said, "Should a man like me flee? And could one such as I go into the temple to save his life? I will not go in."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:12---- Neh 6:12 Karena kuketahui benar, bahwa Allah tidak mengutus dia. Ia mengucapkan nubuat itu terhadap aku, karena disuap Tobia dan Sanbalat.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:12 Then I perceived that surely God had not sent him, but he uttered his prophecy against me because Tobiah and Sanballat had hired him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:13---- Neh 6:13 Untuk ini ia disuap, supaya aku menjadi takut lalu berbuat demikian, sehingga aku berdosa. Dengan demikian mereka mempunyai kesempatan untuk membusukkan namaku, sehingga dapat mencela aku.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:13 He was hired for this reason, that I might become frightened and act accordingly and sin, so that they might have an evil report in order that they could reproach me.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:14---- Neh 6:14 Ya Allahku, ingatlah bagaimana Tobia dan Sanbalat masing-masing telah bertindak! Pun tindakan nabiah Noaja dan nabi-nabi yang lain yang mau menakut-nakutkan aku.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:14 Remember, O my God, Tobiah and Sanballat according to these works of theirs, and also Noadiah the prophetess and the rest of the prophets who were trying to frighten me.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:15---- Neh 6:15 Maka selesailah tembok itu pada tanggal dua puluh lima bulan Elul, dalam waktu lima puluh dua hari.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:15 So the wall was completed on the twenty-fifth of the month Elul, in fifty-two days.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:16---- Neh 6:16 Ketika semua musuh kami mendengar hal itu, takutlah semua bangsa sekeliling kami. Mereka sangat kehilangan muka dan menjadi sadar, bahwa pekerjaan itu dilaksanakan dengan bantuan Allah kami.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:16 When all our enemies heard of it, and all the nations surrounding us saw it, they lost their confidence; for they recognized that this work had been accomplished with the help of our God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:17---- Neh 6:17 Pada masa itu pula para pemuka Yehuda mengirim banyak surat kepada Tobia, dan sebaliknya mereka menerima surat-surat dari padanya,(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:17 Also in those days many letters went from the nobles of Judah to Tobiah, and Tobiah's letters came to them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:18---- Neh 6:18 karena banyak orang di Yehuda mempunyai ikatan sumpah dengan dia, sebab ia adalah menantu Sekhanya bin Arah, sedang Yohanan, anaknya, mengambil anak Mesulam bin Berekhya sebagai isteri.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:18 For many in Judah were bound by oath to him because he was the son-in-law of Shecaniah the son of Arah, and his son Jehohanan had married the daughter of Meshullam the son of Berechiah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 6:19---- Neh 6:19 Juga mereka sebut-sebut segala kebaikan Tobia di mukaku dan segala perkataanku terus dibeberkan kepadanya. Pula Tobia mengirim surat-surat untuk menakut-nakutkan aku.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 6:19 Moreover, they were speaking about his good deeds in my presence and reported my words to him.
