Esther 1:1 در ایام اخشورش (این امور واقع شد). اینهمان اخشورش است كه از هند تا حبش، بر صد و بیست و هفت ولایت سلطنت میكرد.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:1 Now it took place in the days of Ahasuerus, the Ahasuerus who reigned from India to Ethiopia over 127 provinces,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:2---- Esther 1:2 در آن ایام حینی كه اخشورش پادشاه، بر كرسی سلطنت خویش در دارالسلطنه شوشن نشسته بود.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:2 in those days as King Ahasuerus sat on his royal throne which was at the citadel in Susa,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:3---- Esther 1:3 در سال سوم از سلطنت خویش، ضیافتی برای جمیع سروران و خادمان خود برپا نمود و حشمت فارس و مادی از امرا و سرورانِ ولایتها، به حضور او بودند.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:3 in the third year of his reign he gave a banquet for all his princes and attendants, the army officers of Persia and Media, the nobles and the princes of his provinces being in his presence.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:4---- Esther 1:4 پس مدت مدیدِ صد و هشتاد روز، توانگری جلال سلطنت خویش و حشمت مجد عظمت خود را جلوه میداد.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:4 And he displayed the riches of his royal glory and the splendor of his great majesty for many days, 180 days.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:5---- Esther 1:5 پس بعد از انقضای آنروزها، پادشاه برای همه كسانی كه دردارالسلطنه شوشن از خرد و بزرگ یافت شدند، ضیافت هفت روزه در عمارت باغ قصر پادشاه برپا نمود.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:5 When these days were completed, the king gave a banquet lasting seven days for all the people who were present at the citadel in Susa, from the greatest to the least, in the court of the garden of the king's palace.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:6---- Esther 1:6 پردهها از كتان سفید و لاجورد، با ریسمانهای سفید و ارغوان در حلقههای نقره بر ستونهای مرمرِ سفید آویخته و تختهای طلا و نقره بر سنگفرشی از سنگ سماق و مرمرِ سفید و درّ و مرمرِ سیاه بود.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:6 There were hangings of fine white and violet linen held by cords of fine purple linen on silver rings and marble columns, and couches of gold and silver on a mosaic pavement of porphyry, marble, mother-of-pearl and precious stones.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:7---- Esther 1:7 و آشامیدن، از ظرفهای طلا بود و ظرفها را اشكال مختلفه بود و شرابهای ملوكانه برحسب كرم پادشاه فراوان بود.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:7 Drinks were served in golden vessels of various kinds, and the royal wine was plentiful according to the king's bounty.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:8---- Esther 1:8 و آشامیدن برحسب قانون بود كه كسی بر كسی تكلف نمینمود، زیرا پادشاه درباره همه بزرگان خانهاش چنین امر فرموده بود كه هر كسموافق میل خود رفتار نماید.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:8 The drinking was done according to the law, there was no compulsion, for so the king had given orders to each official of his household that he should do according to the desires of each person.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:9---- Esther 1:9 و وشتی ملكه نیز ضیافتی برای زنان خانه خسروی اخشورش پادشاه برپا نمود.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:9 Queen Vashti also gave a banquet for the women in the palace which belonged to King Ahasuerus.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:10---- Esther 1:10 در روز هفتم، چون دل پادشاه از شراب خوش شد، هفت خواجهسرا یعنی مهومان و بزتا و حربونا و بغتا و ابغتا و زاتر و كركس را كه در حضور اخشورش پادشاه خدمت میكردند، امر فرمود(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:10 On the seventh day, when the heart of the king was merry with wine, he commanded Mehuman, Biztha, Harbona, Bigtha, Abagtha, Zethar and Carkas, the seven eunuchs who served in the presence of King Ahasuerus,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:11---- Esther 1:11 كه وشتی ملكه را با تاج ملوكانه به حضور پادشاه بیاورند تا زیبایی او را به خلایق و سروران نشان دهد، زیرا كه نیكو منظر بود.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:11 to bring Queen Vashti before the king with her royal crown in order to display her beauty to the people and the princes, for she was beautiful.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:12---- Esther 1:12 اما وشتی ملكه نخواست كه برحسب فرمانی كه پادشاه به دست خواجهسرایان فرستاده بود بیاید. پس پادشاه بسیار خشمناك شده، غضبش در دلش مشتعل گردید.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:12 But Queen Vashti refused to come at the king's command delivered by the eunuchs. Then the king became very angry and his wrath burned within him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:13---- Esther 1:13 آنگاه پادشاه به حكیمانی كه از زمانها مخبر بودند تكلم نموده، (زیرا كه عادت پادشاه با همه كسانی كه به شریعت و احكام عارف بودند چنین بود.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:13 Then the king said to the wise men who understood the times--for it was the custom of the king so to speak before all who knew law and justice(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:14---- Esther 1:14 و مقربان او كرشنا و شیتار و ادماتا و ترشیش و مرس و مرسنا و مموكان، هفت رئیس فارس و مادی بودند كه روی پادشاه را میدیدند و در مملكت به درجه اول مینشستند)(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:14 and were close to him: Carshena, Shethar, Admatha, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena and Memucan, the seven princes of Persia and Media who had access to the king's presence and sat in the first place in the kingdom--(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:15---- Esther 1:15 گفت: «موافق شریعت، به وشتی ملكه چه باید كرد، چونكه به فرمانی كه اخشورش پادشاه به دست خواجهسرایان فرستاده است، عمل ننموده؟»(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:15 "According to law, what is to be done with Queen Vashti, because she did not obey the command of King Ahasuerus delivered by the eunuchs?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:16---- Esther 1:16 آنگاه مموكان به حضور پادشاه و سرورانعرض كرد كه «وشتی ملكه، نه تنها به پادشاه تقصیر نموده، بلكه به همه رؤسا و جمیع طوایفی كه در تمامی ولایتهای اخشورش پادشاه میباشند،(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:16 In the presence of the king and the princes, Memucan said, "Queen Vashti has wronged not only the king but also all the princes and all the peoples who are in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:17---- Esther 1:17 زیرا چون این عمل ملكه نزد تمامی زنان شایع شود، آنگاه شوهرانشان در نظر ایشان خوار خواهند شد، حینی كه مخبر شوند كه اخشورش پادشاه امر فرموده است كه وشتی ملكه را به حضورش بیاورند و نیامده است.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:17 For the queen's conduct will become known to all the women causing them to look with contempt on their husbands by saying, 'King Ahasuerus commanded Queen Vashti to be brought in to his presence, but she did not come.'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:18---- Esther 1:18 و در آنوقت، خانمهای فارس و مادی كه این عمل ملكه را بشنوند، به جمیع روسای پادشاه چنین خواهند گفت و این مورد بسیار احتقار و غضب خواهد شد.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:18 This day the ladies of Persia and Media who have heard of the queen's conduct will speak in the same way to all the king's princes, and there will be plenty of contempt and anger.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:19---- Esther 1:19 پس اگر پادشاه این را مصلحت داند، فرمان ملوكانهای از حضور وی صادر شود و در شرایع فارس و مادی ثبت گردد، تا تبدیل نپذیرد، كه وشتی به حضور اخشورش پادشاه دیگر نیاید و پادشاه رتبه ملوكانه او را به دیگری كه بهتر از او باشد بدهد.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:19 If it pleases the king, let a royal edict be issued by him and let it be written in the laws of Persia and Media so that it cannot be repealed, that Vashti may no longer come into the presence of King Ahasuerus, and let the king give her royal position to another who is more worthy than she.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:20---- Esther 1:20 و چون فرمانی كه پادشاه صادر گرداند در تمامی مملكت عظیم او مسموع شود، آنگاه همه زنان شوهران خود را از بزرگ و كوچك، احترام خواهند نمود.»(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:20 When the king's edict which he will make is heard throughout all his kingdom, great as it is, then all women will give honor to their husbands, great and small."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:21---- Esther 1:21 و این سخن در نظر پادشاه و رؤسا پسند آمد و پادشاه موافق سخن مموكان عمل نمود.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:21 This word pleased the king and the princes, and the king did as Memucan proposed.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 1:22---- Esther 1:22 و مكتوبات به همه ولایتهای پادشاه به هر ولایت، موافق خطّ آن و به هر قوم، موافق زبانش فرستاد تا هر مرد در خانه خود مسلط شود و در زبان قوم خود آن را بخواند.(Persian) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 1:22 So he sent letters to all the king's provinces, to each province according to its script and to every people according to their language, that every man should be the master in his own house and the one who speaks in the language
