Josué 5:1 Y sucedió que cuando todos los reyes de los amorreos, que [estaban] al otro lado del Jordán al occidente, y todos los reyes de los cananeos, que [estaban] cerca del mar, oyeron cómo Jehová había secado las aguas del Jordán delante de los hijos de Israel hasta que hubieron pasado, desfalleció su corazón, y no hubo más espíritu en ellos delante de los hijos de Israel.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:1 Now it came about when all the kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan to the west, and all the kings of the Canaanites who were by the sea, heard how the Lord had dried up the waters of the Jordan before the sons of Israel until they had crossed, that their hearts melted, and there was no spirit in them any longer because of the sons of Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:2---- Josué 5:2 En aquel tiempo Jehová dijo a Josué: Hazte cuchillos afilados, y vuelve a circuncidar, por segunda vez, a los hijos de Israel.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:2 At that time the Lord said to Joshua, "Make for yourself flint knives and circumcise again the sons of Israel the second time."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:3---- Josué 5:3 Y Josué se hizo cuchillos afilados, y circuncidó a los hijos de Israel en el monte de los prepucios.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:3 So Joshua made himself flint knives and circumcised the sons of Israel at Gibeath-haaraloth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:4---- Josué 5:4 Ésta [es] la causa por la cual Josué los circuncidó: Todo el pueblo que había salido de Egipto, los varones, todos los hombres de guerra, habían muerto en el desierto por el camino, después que salieron de Egipto.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:4 This is the reason why Joshua circumcised them: all the people who came out of Egypt who were males, all the men of war, died in the wilderness along the way after they came out of Egypt.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:5---- Josué 5:5 Porque todos los del pueblo que habían salido, estaban circuncidados; por lo cual Jehová les juró que no les dejaría ver la tierra, de la cual Jehová había jurado a sus padres que nos la daría, tierra que fluye leche y miel.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:6 For the sons of Israel walked forty years in the wilderness, until all the nation, that is, the men of war who came out of Egypt, perished because they did not listen to the voice of the Lord, to whom the Lord had sworn that He would not let them see the land which the Lord had sworn to their fathers to give us, a land flowing with milk and honey.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:7---- Josué 5:7 Y a los hijos de ellos, [que] Él había levantado en su lugar, Josué los circuncidó; por lo cual el nombre de aquel lugar fue llamado Gilgal, hasta hoy.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:9 Then the Lord said to Joshua, "Today I have rolled away the reproach of Egypt from you." So the name of that place is called Gilgal to this day.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:10---- Josué 5:10 Y los hijos de Israel acamparon en Gilgal, y celebraron la pascua a los catorce días del mes, por la tarde, en los llanos de Jericó.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:10 While the sons of Israel camped at Gilgal they observed the Passover on the evening of the fourteenth day of the month on the desert plains of Jericho.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:11---- Josué 5:11 Y al otro día de la pascua comieron del fruto de la tierra los panes sin levadura, y en el mismo día espigas nuevas tostadas.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:11 On the day after the Passover, on that very day, they ate some of the produce of the land, unleavened cakes and parched grain.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:12---- Josué 5:12 Y el maná cesó el día siguiente, desde que comenzaron a comer del fruto de la tierra; y los hijos de Israel nunca más tuvieron maná, sino que comieron de los frutos de la tierra de Canaán aquel año.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:12 The manna ceased on the day after they had eaten some of the produce of the land, so that the sons of Israel no longer had manna, but they ate some of the yield of the land of Canaan during that year.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:13---- Josué 5:13 Y sucedió que cuando Josué estaba cerca de Jericó, alzó sus ojos y miró, y he aquí, un varón estaba delante de él con su espada desenvainada en su mano. Y Josué fue hacia Él y le dijo: ¿Eres de los nuestros, o de nuestros enemigos?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:13 Now it came about when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, a man was standing opposite him with his sword drawn in his hand, and Joshua went to him and said to him, "Are you for us or for our adversaries?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:14---- Josué 5:14 Y Él respondió: No; sino que he venido ahora como Príncipe del ejército de Jehová. Entonces Josué postrándose sobre su rostro en tierra le adoró; y le dijo: ¿Qué dice mi Señor a su siervo?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:14 He said, "No; rather I indeed come now as captain of the host of the Lord." And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and bowed down, and said to him, "What has my lord to say to his servant?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 5:15---- Josué 5:15 Y el Príncipe del ejército de Jehová respondió a Josué: Quita las sandalias de tus pies; porque el lugar donde estás es santo. Y Josué lo hizo así.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 5:15 The captain of the Lord's host said to Joshua, "Remove your sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy."
