(Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:1 ولما سمع سنبلط اننا آخذون في بناء السور غضب واغتاظ كثيرا وهزأ باليهود -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:1 Now it came about that when Sanballat heard that we were rebuilding the wall, he became furious and very angry and mocked the Jews.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:2---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:2 وتكلم امام اخوته وجيش السامرة وقال ماذا يعمل اليهود الضعفاء. هل يتركونهم. هل يذبحون. هل يكملون في يوم. هل يحيون الحجارة من كوم التراب وهي محرقة. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:2 He spoke in the presence of his brothers and the wealthy men of Samaria and said, "What are these feeble Jews doing? Are they going to restore it for themselves? Can they offer sacrifices? Can they finish in a day? Can they revive the stones from the dusty rubble even the burned ones?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:3---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:3 وكان طوبيا العموني بجانبه فقال ان ما يبنونه اذا صعد ثعلب فانه يهدم حجارة حائطهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:3 Now Tobiah the Ammonite was near him and he said, "Even what they are building--if a fox should jump on it, he would break their stone wall down!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:4---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:4 اسمع يا الهنا لاننا قد صرنا احتقارا ورد تعييرهم على رؤوسهم واجعلهم نهبا في ارض السبي -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:4 Hear, O our God, how we are despised! Return their reproach on their own heads and give them up for plunder in a land of captivity.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:5---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:5 ولا تستر ذنوبهم ولا تمح خطيتهم من امامك لانهم اغضبوك امام البانين. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:5 Do not forgive their iniquity and let not their sin be blotted out before You, for they have demoralized the builders.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:6---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:6 فبنينا السور واتّصل كل السور الى نصفه وكان للشعب قلب في العمل -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:6 So we built the wall and the whole wall was joined together to half its height, for the people had a mind to work.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:7---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:7 ولما سمع سنبلّط وطوبيا والعرب والعمونيون والاشدوديون ان اسوار اورشليم قد رممت والثغر ابتدأت تسد غضبوا جدا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:7 Now when Sanballat, Tobiah, the Arabs, the Ammonites and the Ashdodites heard that the repair of the walls of Jerusalem went on, and that the breaches began to be closed, they were very angry.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:8---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:8 وتآمروا جميعهم معا ان ياتوا ويحاربوا اورشليم ويعملوا بها ضررا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:8 All of them conspired together to come and fight against Jerusalem and to cause a disturbance in it.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:9---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:9 فصلّينا الى الهنا واقمنا حراسا ضدهم نهارا وليلا بسببهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:9 But we prayed to our God, and because of them we set up a guard against them day and night.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:10---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:10 وقال يهوذا قد ضعفت قوة الحمالين والتراب كثير ونحن لا نقدر ان نبني السور. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:10 Thus in Judah it was said, "The strength of the burden bearers is failing, Yet there is much rubbish; And we ourselves are unable To rebuild the wall."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:11---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:11 وقال اعداؤنا لا يعلمون ولا يرون حتى ندخل الى وسطهم ونقتلهم ونوقف العمل. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:11 Our enemies said, "They will not know or see until we come among them, kill them and put a stop to the work."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:12---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:12 ولما جاء اليهود الساكنون بجانبهم قالوا لنا عشر مرات من جميع الاماكن التي منها رجعوا الينا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:12 When the Jews who lived near them came and told us ten times, "They will come up against us from every place where you may turn,"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:13---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:13 فاوقفت الشعب من اسفل الموضع وراء السور وعلى القمم اوقفتهم حسب عشائرهم بسيوفهم ورماحهم وقسيهم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:13 then I stationed men in the lowest parts of the space behind the wall, the exposed places, and I stationed the people in families with their swords, spears and bows.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:14---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:14 ونظرت وقمت وقلت للعظماء والولاة ولبقية الشعب لا تخافوهم بل اذكروا السيد العظيم المرهوب وحاربوا من اجل اخوتكم وبنيكم وبناتكم ونسائكم وبيوتكم -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:14 When I saw their fear, I rose and spoke to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people: "Do not be afraid of them; remember the Lord who is great and awesome, and fight for your brothers, your sons, your daughters, your wives and your houses."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:15---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:15 ولما سمع اعداؤنا اننا قد عرفنا وابطل الله مشورتهم رجعنا كلنا الى السور كل واحد الى شغله. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:15 When our enemies heard that it was known to us, and that God had frustrated their plan, then all of us returned to the wall, each one to his work.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:16---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:16 ومن ذلك اليوم كان نصف غلماني يشتغلون في العمل ونصفهم يمسكون الرماح والاتراس والقسي والدروع. والرؤساء وراء كل بيت يهوذا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:16 From that day on, half of my servants carried on the work while half of them held the spears, the shields, the bows and the breastplates; and the captains were behind the whole house of Judah.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:17---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:17 البانون على السور بنوا وحاملو الاحمال حملوا. باليد الواحدة يعملون العمل وبالاخرى يمسكون السلاح. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:17 Those who were rebuilding the wall and those who carried burdens took their load with one hand doing the work and the other holding a weapon.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:18---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:18 وكان البانون يبنون وسيف كل واحد مربوط على جنبه وكان النافخ بالبوق بجانبي. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:18 As for the builders, each wore his sword girded at his side as he built, while the trumpeter stood near me.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:19---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:19 فقلت للعظماء والولاة ولبقية الشعب العمل كثير ومتسع ونحن متفرقون على السور وبعيدون بعضنا عن بعض. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:19 I said to the nobles, the officials and the rest of the people, "The work is great and extensive, and we are separated on the wall far from one another.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:20---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:20 فالمكان الذي تسمعون منه صوت البوق هناك تجتمعون الينا. الهنا يحارب عنا. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:20 At whatever place you hear the sound of the trumpet, rally to us there. Our God will fight for us."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:21---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:21 فكنا نحن نعمل العمل وكان نصفهم يمسكون الرماح من طلوع الفجر الى ظهور النجوم. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:21 So we carried on the work with half of them holding spears from dawn until the stars appeared.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:22---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:22 وقلت في ذلك الوقت ايضا للشعب ليبت كل واحد مع غلامه في وسط اورشليم ليكونوا لنا حراسا في الليل وللعمل في النهار. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:22 At that time I also said to the people, "Let each man with his servant spend the night within Jerusalem so that they may be a guard for us by night and a laborer by day."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 4:23---- (Arabic) ﺎﻴﻤﺤﻧ 4:23 ولم اكن انا ولا اخوتي ولا غلماني ولا الحراس الذين ورائي نخلع ثيابنا. كان كل واحد يذهب بسلاحه الى الماء -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neh 4:23 So neither I, my brothers, my servants, nor the men of the guard who followed me, none of us removed our clothes, each took his weapon even to the water.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nehemiah 5:1 ---- written 445-425 B.C.---- |
