Job 1:22 Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:1 ---- occurred around 2000-1700 B.C.---- Job 2:1 ¶ Or, les fils de Dieu vinrent un jour se présenter devant l'Eternel, et Satan vint aussi au milieu d'eux se présenter devant l'Eternel.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:2---- Job 2:2 L'Eternel dit à Satan: D'où viens-tu? Et Satan répondit à l'Eternel: De parcourir la terre et de m'y promener.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:2 The Lord said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" For there is no one like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man fearing God and turning away from evil. And he still holds fast his integrity, although you incited Me against him to ruin him without cause."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:4---- Job 2:4 Et Satan répondit à l'Eternel: Peau pour peau! tout ce que possède un homme, il le donne pour sa vie.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:4 Satan answered the Lord and said, "Skin for skin! Yes, all that a man has he will give for his life.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:5---- Job 2:5 Mais étends ta main, touche à ses os et à sa chair, et je suis sûr qu'il te maudit en face.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:5 However, put forth Your hand now, and touch his bone and his flesh; he will curse You to Your face."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:6---- Job 2:6 L'Eternel dit à Satan: Voici, je te le livre: seulement, épargne sa vie.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:6 So the Lord said to Satan, "Behold, he is in your power, only spare his life."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:7---- Job 2:7 ¶ Et Satan se retira de devant la face de l'Eternel. Puis il frappa Job d'un ulcère malin, depuis la plante du pied jusqu'au sommet de la tête.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:7 Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and smote Job with sore boils from the sole of his foot to the crown of his head.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:8---- Job 2:8 Et Job prit un tesson pour se gratter et s'assit sur la cendre.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:8 And he took a potsherd to scrape himself while he was sitting among the ashes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:9---- Job 2:9 Sa femme lui dit: Tu demeures ferme dans ton intégrité! Maudis Dieu, et meurs!(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:9 Then his wife said to him, "Do you still hold fast your integrity? Curse God and die!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:10---- Job 2:10 Mais Job lui répondit: Tu parles comme une femme insensée. Quoi! nous recevons de Dieu le bien, et nous ne recevrions pas aussi le mal! En tout cela Job ne pécha point par ses lèvres.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:10 But he said to her, "You speak as one of the foolish women speaks. Shall we indeed accept good from God and not accept adversity?" In all this Job did not sin with his lips.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:11---- Job 2:11 ¶ Trois amis de Job, Eliphaz de Théman, Bildad de Schuach, et Tsophar de Naama, apprirent tous les malheurs qui lui étaient arrivés. Ils se concertèrent et partirent de chez eux pour aller le plaindre et le consoler!(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:11 Now when Job's three friends heard of all this adversity that had come upon him, they came each one from his own place, Eliphaz the Temanite, Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite; and they made an appointment together to come to sympathize with him and comfort him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Job 2:12---- Job 2:12 Ayant de loin porté les regards sur lui, ils ne le reconnurent pas, et ils élevèrent la voix et pleurèrent. Ils déchirèrent leurs manteaux, et ils jetèrent de la poussière en l'air au-dessus de leur tête.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Job 2:12 When they lifted up their eyes at a distance and did not recognize him, they raised their voices and wept.
