The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nahum 1:2---- Nahum 1:2 L'Eternel est un Dieu jaloux, il se venge; L'Eternel se venge, il est plein de fureur; L'Eternel se venge de ses adversaires, Il garde rancune à ses ennemis.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:2 A jealous and avenging God is the Lord; The Lord is avenging and wrathful. The Lord takes vengeance on His adversaries, And He reserves wrath for His enemies.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nahum 1:3---- Nahum 1:3 L'Eternel est lent à la colère, il est grand par sa force; Il ne laisse pas impuni. L'Eternel marche dans la tempête, dans le tourbillon; Les nuées sont la poussière de ses pieds.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:3 The Lord is slow to anger and great in power, And the Lord will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. Qui tiendra contre son ardente colère? Sa fureur se répand comme le feu, Et les rochers se brisent devant lui.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:6 Who can stand before His indignation? Who can endure the burning of His anger? His wrath is poured out like fire And the rocks are broken up by Him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nahum 1:7---- Nahum 1:7 L'Eternel est bon, Il est un refuge au jour de la détresse; Il connaît ceux qui se confient en lui.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:7 The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble, And He knows those who take refuge in Him.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nahum 1:8---- Nahum 1:8 Mais avec des flots qui déborderont Il détruira la ville, Et il poursuivra ses ennemis jusque dans les ténèbres.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:8 But with an overflowing flood He will make a complete end of its site, And will pursue His enemies into darkness.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nahum 1:9---- Nahum 1:9 ¶ Que méditez-vous contre l'Eternel? C'est lui qui détruit. La détresse ne paraîtra pas deux fois.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:9 Whatever you devise against the Lord, He will make a complete end of it. Distress will not rise up twice.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nahum 1:10---- Nahum 1:10 Car entrelacés comme des épines, Et comme ivres de leur vin, Ils seront consumés Comme la paille sèche, entièrement.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:10 Like tangled thorns, And like those who are drunken with their drink, They are consumed As stubble completely withered.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nahum 1:11---- Nahum 1:11 De toi est sorti Celui qui méditait le mal contre l'Eternel, Celui qui avait de méchants desseins.(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:11 From you has gone forth One who plotted evil against the Lord, A wicked counselor.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Nahum 1:12---- Nahum 1:12 Ainsi parle l'Eternel: Quoique intacts et nombreux, Ils seront moissonnés et disparaîtront. Je veux t'humilier, Pour ne plus avoir à t'humilier...(F) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nah 1:12 Thus says the Lord, "Though they are at full strength and likewise many, Even so, they will be cut off and pass away. I will cut off idol and image From the house of your gods.
