================================================================================ ---- Leviticus 3:1 ---- written 1450-1410 B.C.---- Lev 3:1 ἐὰν δὲ θυσία σωτηρίου τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ τῷ κυρίῳ ἐὰν μὲν ἐκ τῶν βοῶν αὐτοῦ προσαγάγῃ ἐάν τε ἄρσεν ἐάν τε θῆλυ ἄμωμον προσάξει αὐτὸ ἐναντίον κυρίου (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lev 3:1 'Now if his offering is a sacrifice of peace offerings, if he is going to offer out of the herd, whether male or female, he shall offer it without defect before the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Leviticus 3:2---- Lev 3:2 καὶ ἐπιθήσει τὰς χεῖρας ἐπὶ τὴν κεφαλὴν τοῦ δώρου καὶ σφάξει αὐτὸ παρὰ τὰς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ προσχεοῦσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ααρων οἱ ἱερεῖς τὸ αἷμα ἐπὶ τὸ θυσιαστήριον τῶν ὁλοκαυτωμάτων κύκλῳ (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lev 3:2 He shall lay his hand on the head of his offering and slay it at the doorway of the tent of meeting, and προσάξουσιν ἀπὸ τῆς θυσίας τοῦ σωτηρίου κάρπωμα κυρίῳ τὸ στέαρ τὸ κατακαλύπτον τὴν κοιλίαν καὶ πᾶν τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπὶ τῆς κοιλίας (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lev 3:3 From the sacrifice of the peace offerings he shall present an offering by fire to the Lord, the fat that covers the entrails and all the fat that is on the entrails,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Leviticus 3:4---- Lev 3:4 καὶ τοὺς δύο νεφροὺς καὶ τὸ στέαρ τὸ ἐπ᾽ αὐτῶν τὸ ἐπὶ τῶν μηρίων καὶ τὸν λοβὸν τὸν ἐπὶ τοῦ ἥπατος σὺν τοῖς νεφροῖς περιελεῖ (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lev 3:4 and the two kidneys with the fat that is on them, which is on the loins, and the lobe of the liver, which he shall remove with the kidneys.(NASB-1995) τὰ ξύλα τὰ ἐπὶ τοῦ πυρὸς ἐπὶ τοῦ θυσιαστηρίου κάρπωμα ὀσμὴ εὐωδίας κυρίῳ (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lev 3:5 Then Aaron's sons shall offer it up in smoke on the altar on the burnt offering, which is on the wood that is on the fire; it is an offering by fire of a soothing aroma to the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Leviticus 3:6---- Lev 3:6 ἐὰν δὲ ἀπὸ τῶν προβάτων τὸ δῶρον αὐτοῦ θυσίαν σωτηρίου τῷ κυρίῳ ἄρσεν ἢ θῆλυ ἄμωμον προσοίσει αὐτό (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lev 3:6 But if his offering for a sacrifice of peace offerings to the Lord is from the
