================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 5:1 ---- written 450-425 B.C.---- 2Ch 5:1 καὶ συνετελέσθη πᾶσα ἡ ἐργασία ἣν ἐποίησεν Σαλωμων ἐν οἴκῳ κυρίου καὶ εἰσήνεγκεν Σαλωμων τὰ ἅγια Δαυιδ τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτοῦ τὸ ἀργύριον καὶ τὸ χρυσίον καὶ τὰ σκεύη ἔδωκεν εἰς θησαυρὸν οἴκου κυρίου (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 5:1 Thus all the work that Solomon performed for the house of the Lord was finished. the Levitical priests brought them up.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 5:6---- 2Ch 5:6 καὶ ὁ βασιλεὺς Σαλωμων καὶ πᾶσα συναγωγὴ Ισραηλ καὶ οἱ φοβούμενοι καὶ οἱ ἐπισυνηγμένοι αὐτῶν ἔμπροσθεν τῆς κιβωτοῦ θύοντες μόσχους καὶ πρόβατα οἳ οὐκ ἀριθμηθήσονται καὶ οἳ οὐ λογισθήσονται ἀπὸ τοῦ πλήθους (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 5:6 And King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel who were assembled with him before the ark, were sacrificing so many sheep and oxen that they could not be counted or numbered.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 5:7---- 2Ch 5:7 καὶ εἰσήνεγκαν οἱ ἱερεῖς τὴν κιβωτὸν διαθήκης κυρίου εἰς τὸν τόπον αὐτῆς εἰς τὸ δαβιρ τοῦ οἴκου εἰς τὰ ἅγια τῶν ἁγίων ὑποκάτω τῶν πτερύγων τῶν χερουβιν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 5:7 Then the priests brought the ark of the covenant of the Lord to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the holy of holies, under the wings of the cherubim.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 5:8---- 2Ch 5:8 καὶ ἦν τὰ χερουβιν διαπεπετακότα τὰς πτέρυγας αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὸν τόπον τῆς κιβωτοῦ καὶ συνεκάλυπτεν τὰ χερουβιν ἐπὶ τὴν κιβωτὸν καὶ ἐπὶ τοὺς ἀναφορεῖς αὐτῆς ἐπάνωθεν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 5:8 For the cherubim spread their wings over the place of the ark, so that the cherubim made a covering over the ark and its poles.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- 2 Chronicles 5:9---- 2Ch 5:9 καὶ ὑπερεῖχον οἱ ἀναφορεῖς καὶ ἐβλέποντο αἱ κεφαλαὶ τῶν ἀναφορέων ἐκ τῶν ἁγίων εἰς πρόσωπον τοῦ δαβιρ οὐκ ἐβλέποντο ἔξω καὶ ἦσαν ἐκεῖ ἕως τῆς ἡμέρας ταύτης (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 2Ch 5:9 The poles were so long that the ends of the poles of the ark could be seen in front of the inner sanctuary, but they could not be seen outside;
