Pre-Exilic---- Jer 42:1 ὁ λόγος ὁ γενόμενος πρὸς Ιερεμιαν παρὰ κυρίου ἐν ἡμέραις Ιωακιμ βασιλέως Ιουδα λέγων (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jer 42:1 Then all the commanders of the forces, Johanan the son of Kareah, Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people both small and great approached(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jeremiah 42:2---- Jer 42:2 βάδισον εἰς οἶκον Αρχαβιν καὶ ἄξεις αὐτοὺς εἰς οἶκον κυρίου εἰς μίαν τῶν αὐλῶν καὶ ποτιεῖς αὐτοὺς οἶνον (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jer 42:2 and said to Jeremiah the prophet, "Please let our petition come before you, and pray for us to the Lord your God, that is for all this remnant; because we are left but a few out of many, as your own eyes now see us,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jeremiah 42:3---- Jer 42:3 καὶ ἐξήγαγον τὸν Ιεζονιαν υἱὸν Ιερεμιν υἱοῦ Χαβασιν καὶ τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτοῦ καὶ πᾶσαν τὴν οἰκίαν Αρχαβιν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jer 42:3 that the Lord your God may tell us the way in which we should walk and the thing that we should do."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jeremiah 42:4---- Jer 42:4 καὶ εἰσήγαγον αὐτοὺς εἰς οἶκον κυρίου εἰς τὸ παστοφόριον υἱῶν Ανανιου υἱοῦ Γοδολιου ἀνθρώπου τοῦ θεοῦ ὅ ἐστιν ἐγγὺς τοῦ οἴκου τῶν ἀρχόντων τῶν ἐπάνω τοῦ οἴκου Μαασαιου υἱοῦ Σελωμ τοῦ φυλάσσοντος τὴν αὐλήν (LXX 282-105BC) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jer 42:4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said to them, "I have heard you. Behold, I am going to pray to the Lord your God in accordance with your words; and I will tell you the whole message which the Lord will answer you.
