(Hebrew) אַחַי תַּאֲוַת לִבִּי וּתְפִלָּתִי לֵאלֹהִים בְּעַד יִשְׂרָאֵל אֲשֶׁר יִוָּשֵׁעוּ׃ א Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and my prayer to God for them is for their salvation.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:2---- (Hebrew) כִּי עֵדוּת אֲנִי לָהֶם כִּי קִנְאַת אֱלֹהִים אִתָּם אַךְ לֹא־בְהַשְׂכֵּל׃ ב Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:2 For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not in accordance with knowledge.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:3---- (Hebrew) כִּי מֵאֲשֶׁר צִדְקַת אֱלֹהִים הִשְׂכִּילוּ וַיִּתְאַמְּצוּ לְהָקִים צִדְקַת נַפְשָׁם לֹא נִכְנַע לִבָּם לִפְנֵי צִדְקַת אֱלֹהִים׃ ג Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:3 For not knowing about God's righteousness and seeking to establish their own, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness of God.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:4---- (Hebrew) כִּי תַכְלִית הַתּוֹרָה הוּא הַמָּשִׁיחַ לִצְדָקָה לְכָל־הַמַּאֲמִין בּוֹ׃ ד Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:4 For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:5---- (Hebrew) כִּי משֶׁה כֹתֵב עַל־הַצְּדָקָה לְפִי מִשְׁפְּטֵי הַתּוֹרָה אֲשֶׁר יַעֲשֶׂה אֹתָם הָאָדָם וָחַי בָּהֶם׃ ה Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:5 For Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on law shall live by that righteousness.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:6---- (Hebrew) וְהַצְּדָקָה מִמְּקוֹר הָאֱמוּנָה תִּקְרָא כָזֹאת אַל־תֹּאמַר בִּלְבָבְךָ מִי יַעֲלֶה הַשָּׁמָיְמָה זֶה הוּא לְהוֹרִיד אֶת־הַמָּשִׁיחַ׃ ו Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:6 But the righteousness based on faith speaks as follows. "DO NOT SAY IN YOUR HEART, 'WHO WILL ASCEND INTO HEAVEN?' (that is, to bring Christ down),(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:7---- (Hebrew) אוֹ מִי־יֵרֵד שְׁאֹלָה זֶה הוּא לְהַעֲלוֹת אֶת־הַמָּשִׁיחַ מִן־הַמֵּתִים׃ ז Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:7 or 'WHO WILL DESCEND INTO THE ABYSS?' Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:16---- (Hebrew) אַךְ לֹא־כֻלָּם שָׁמְעוּ אֶל־הַבְּשׂרָה כִּי יְשַׁעְיָהוּ אָמַר יְהוָֹה מִי הֶאֱמִין לִשְׁמֻעָתֵנוּ׃ טז Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:16 However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, "LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:17---- (Hebrew) אֲשֶׁר לָזֹאת הָאֱמוּנָה בָאָה מִפִּי הַשְּׁמוּעָה וְהַשְּׁמוּעָה הִיא בִּדְבַר אֱלֹהִים׃ יז Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:18---- (Hebrew) אַךְ אֲנִי אֹמֵר הֲכִי לֹא שָׁמָעוּ הֲלֹא בְּכָל־הָאָרֶץ יָצָא קוֹלָם וּבִקְצֵה תֵבֵל מִלֵּיהֶם׃ יח Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:18 But I say, surely they have never heard, have they? Indeed they have; "THEIR VOICE HAS GONE OUT INTO ALL THE EARTH, AND THEIR WORDS TO THE ENDS OF THE WORLD."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Romans 10:19---- (Hebrew) וְעוֹד אֲנִי אֹמֵר הֲכִי לֹא יָדַע יִשְׂרָאֵל וּמִקֶּדֶם אָמַר משֶׁה אֲנִי אַקְנִיאֲכֶם בְּלֹא־עָם בְּגוֹי נָבָל אַכְעִיסְכֶם׃ יט Romans -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rom 10:19 But I say, surely Israel did not know, did they?
