エステル 記 9:1 十二月すなわちアダルの月の十三日、王の命令と詔の行われる時が近づいたとき、すなわちユダヤ人の敵が、ユダヤ人を打ち伏せようと望んでいたのに、かえってユダヤ人が自分たちを憎む者を打ち伏せることとなったその日に、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:1 Now in the twelfth month (that is, the month Adar), on the thirteenth day when the king's command and edict were about to be executed, on the day when the enemies of the Jews hoped to gain the mastery over them, it was turned to the contrary so that the Jews themselves gained the mastery over those who hated them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:2---- エステル 記 9:2 ユダヤ人はアハシュエロス王の各州にある自分たちの町々に集まり、自分たちに害を加えようとする者を殺そうとしたが、だれもユダヤ人に逆らうことのできるものはなかった。すべての民がユダヤ人を恐れたからである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:2 The Jews assembled in their cities throughout all the provinces of King Ahasuerus to lay hands on those who sought their harm; and no one could stand before them, for the dread of them had fallen on all the peoples.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:3---- エステル 記 9:3 諸州の大臣、総督、知事および王の事をつかさどる者は皆ユダヤ人を助けた。彼らはモルデカイを恐れたからである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:3 Even all the princes of the provinces, the satraps, the governors and those who were doing the king's business assisted the Jews, because the dread of Mordecai had fallen on them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:4---- エステル 記 9:4 モルデカイは王の家で大いなる者となり、その名声は各州に聞えわたった。この人モルデカイがますます勢力ある者となったからである。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:4 Indeed, Mordecai was great in the king's house, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces; for the man Mordecai became greater and greater.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:5---- エステル 記 9:5 そこでユダヤ人はつるぎをもってすべての敵を撃って殺し、滅ぼし、自分たちを憎む者に対し心のままに行った。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:5 Thus the Jews struck all their enemies with the sword, killing and destroying; and they did what they pleased to those who hated them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:6---- エステル 記 9:6 ユダヤ人はまた首都スサにおいても五百人を殺し、滅ぼした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:6 At the citadel in Susa the Jews killed and destroyed five hundred men,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:7---- エステル 記 9:7 またパルシャンダタ、ダルポン、アスパタ、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:7 and Parshandatha, Dalphon, Aspatha,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:8---- エステル 記 9:8 ポラタ、アダリヤ、アリダタ、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:8 Poratha, Adalia, Aridatha,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:9---- エステル 記 9:9 パルマシタ、アリサイ、アリダイ、ワエザタ、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:9 Parmashta, Arisai, Aridai and Vaizatha,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:10---- エステル 記 9:10 すなわちハンメダタの子で、ユダヤ人の敵であるハマンの十人の子をも殺した。しかし、そのぶんどり物には手をかけなかった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:10 the ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the Jews' enemy; but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:11---- エステル 記 9:11 その日、首都スサで殺された者の数が王に報告されると、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:11 On that day the number of those who were killed at the citadel in Susa was reported to the king.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:12---- エステル 記 9:12 王は王妃エステルに言った、「ユダヤ人は首都スサで五百人を殺し、またハマンの十人の子を殺した。王のその他の諸州ではどんなに彼らは殺したことであろう。さてあなたの求めることは何か。必ず聞かれる。更にあなたの願いは何か。必ず聞きとどけられる」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:12 The king said to Queen Esther, "The Jews have killed and destroyed five hundred men and the ten sons of Haman at the citadel in Susa. What then have they done in the rest of the king's provinces! Now what is your petition? It shall even be granted you. And what is your further request? It shall also be done."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:13---- エステル 記 9:13 エステルは言った、「もし王がよしとされるならば、どうぞスサにいるユダヤ人にあすも、きょうの詔のように行うことをゆるしてください。かつハマンの十人の子を木に掛けさせてください」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:13 Then said Esther, "If it pleases the king, let tomorrow also be granted to the Jews who are in Susa to do according to the edict of today; and an edict was issued in Susa, and Haman's ten sons were hanged.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:15---- エステル 記 9:15 アダルの月の十四日にまたスサにいるユダヤ人が集まり、スサで三百人を殺した。しかし、そのぶんどり物には手をかけなかった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:15 The Jews who were in Susa assembled also on the fourteenth day of the month Adar and killed three hundred men in Susa, but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:16---- エステル 記 9:16 王の諸州にいる他のユダヤ人もまた集まって、自分たちの生命を保護し、その敵に勝って平安を得、自分たちを憎む者七万五千人を殺した。しかし、そのぶんどり物には手をかけなかった。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:16 Now the rest of the Jews who were in the king's provinces assembled, to defend their lives and rid themselves of their enemies, and kill 75,000 of those who hated them; but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:17---- エステル 記 9:17 これはアダルの月の十三日であって、その十四日に休んで、その日を酒宴と喜びの日とした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:17 This was done on the thirteenth day of the month Adar, and on the fourteenth day they rested and made it a day of feasting and rejoicing.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:18---- エステル 記 9:18 しかしスサにいるユダヤ人は十三日と十四日に集まり、十五日に休んで、その日を酒宴と喜びの日とした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:18 But the Jews who were in Susa assembled on the thirteenth and the fourteenth of the same month, and they rested on the fifteenth day and made it a day of feasting and rejoicing.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:19---- エステル 記 9:19 それゆえ村々のユダヤ人すなわち城壁のない町々に住む者はアダルの月の十四日を喜びの日、酒宴の日、祝日とし、互に食べ物を贈る日とした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:19 Therefore the Jews of the rural areas, who live in the rural towns, make the fourteenth day of the month Adar a holiday for rejoicing and feasting and sending portions of food to one another.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:20---- エステル 記 9:20 モルデカイはこれらのことを書きしるしてアハシュエロス王の諸州にいるすべてのユダヤ人に、近い者にも遠い者にも書を送り、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:20 Then Mordecai recorded these events, and he sent letters to all the Jews who were in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, both near and far,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:21---- エステル 記 9:21 アダルの月の十四日と十五日とを年々祝うことを命じた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:21 obliging them to celebrate the fourteenth day of the month Adar, and the fifteenth day of the same month, annually,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Esther 9:22---- エステル 記 9:22 すなわちこの両日にユダヤ人がその敵に勝って平安を得、またこの月は彼らのために憂いから喜びに変り、悲しみから祝日に変ったので、これらを酒宴と喜びの日として、互に食べ物を贈り、貧しい者に施しをする日とせよとさとした。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Est 9:22 because on those days the Jews rid themselves of their enemies, and it was a month which was turned for them from sorrow into gladness and from mourning into a holiday;
