ヨナ書 4:1 ところがヨナはこれを非常に不快として、激しく怒り、 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:1 But it greatly displeased Jonah and he became angry.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:2---- ヨナ書 4:2 主に祈って言った、「主よ、わたしがなお国におりました時、この事を申したではありませんか。それでこそわたしは、急いでタルシシにのがれようとしたのです。なぜなら、わたしはあなたが恵み深い神、あわれみあり、怒ることおそく、いつくしみ豊かで、災を思いかえされることを、知っていたからです。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:2 He prayed to the Lord and said, "Please Lord, was not this what I said while I was still in my own country? Therefore in order to forestall this I fled to Tarshish, for I knew that You are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abundant in lovingkindness, and one who relents concerning calamity.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:3---- ヨナ書 4:3 それで主よ、どうぞ今わたしの命をとってください。わたしにとっては、生きるよりも死ぬ方がましだからです」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:3 Therefore now, O Lord, please take my life from me, for death is better to me than life."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:4---- ヨナ書 4:4 主は言われた、「あなたの怒るのは、よいことであろうか」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:4 The Lord said, "Do you have good reason to be angry?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:5---- ヨナ書 4:5 そこでヨナは町から出て、町の東の方に座し、そこに自分のために一つの小屋を造り、町のなりゆきを見きわめようと、その下の日陰にすわっていた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:5 Then Jonah went out from the city and sat east of it. There he made a shelter for himself and sat under it in the shade until he could see what would happen in the city.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:6---- ヨナ書 4:6 時に主なる神は、ヨナを暑さの苦痛から救うために、とうごまを備えて、それを育て、ヨナの頭の上に日陰を設けた。ヨナはこのとうごまを非常に喜んだ。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:6 So the Lord God appointed a plant and it grew up over Jonah to be a shade over his head to deliver him from his discomfort. And Jonah was extremely happy about the plant.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:7---- ヨナ書 4:7 ところが神は翌日の夜明けに虫を備えて、そのとうごまをかませられたので、それは枯れた。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:7 But God appointed a worm when dawn came the next day and it attacked the plant and it withered.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:8---- ヨナ書 4:8 やがて太陽が出たとき、神が暑い東風を備え、また太陽がヨナの頭を照したので、ヨナは弱りはて、死ぬことを願って言った、「生きるよりも死ぬ方がわたしにはましだ」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:8 When the sun came up God appointed a scorching east wind, and the sun beat down on Jonah's head so that he became faint and begged with all his soul to die, saying, "Death is better to me than life."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:9---- ヨナ書 4:9 しかし神はヨナに言われた、「とうごまのためにあなたの怒るのはよくない」。ヨナは言った、「わたしは怒りのあまり狂い死にそうです」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:9 Then God said to Jonah," Do you have good reason to be angry about the plant?" And he said, "I have good reason to be angry, even to death."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:10---- ヨナ書 4:10 主は言われた、「あなたは労せず、育てず、一夜に生じて、一夜に滅びたこのとうごまをさえ、惜しんでいる。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:10 Then the Lord said, "You had compassion on the plant for which you did not work and which you did not cause to grow, which came up overnight and perished overnight.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 4:11---- ヨナ書 4:11 ましてわたしは十二万あまりの、右左をわきまえない人々と、あまたの家畜とのいるこの大きな町ニネベを、惜しまないでいられようか」。 (JP) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 4:11 Should I not have compassion on Nineveh, the great city in which there are more than 120,000 persons who do not know the difference between their right and left hand, as well as many animals?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ |
