Do not let them eat or drink water.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 3:8---- Jon 3:8 Et operiantur saccis homines et jumenta, et clament ad Dominum in fortitudine: et convertatur vir a via sua mala, et ab iniquitate quæ est in manibus eorum.(Latin-405AD) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 3:8 But both man and beast must be covered with sackcloth; and let men call on God earnestly that each may turn from his wicked way and from the violence which is in his hands.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 3:9---- Jon 3:9 Quis scit si convertatur et ignoscat Deus, et revertatur a furore iræ suæ, et non peribimus?(Latin-405AD) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 3:9 Who knows, God may turn and relent and withdraw His burning anger so that we will not perish."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Jonah 3:10---- Jon 3:10 Et vidit Deus opera eorum, quia conversi sunt de via sua mala: et misertus est Deus super malitiam quam locutus fuerat ut faceret eis, et non fecit.(Latin-405AD) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jon 3:10 When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them.
