================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:1 ---- written 1400-1370 B.C.---- Jos 9:1 Ketika terdengar oleh raja-raja di sebelah barat sungai Yordan, di Pegunungan, di Daerah Bukit dan sepanjang tepi pantai Laut Besar sampai ke seberang gunung Libanon, yakni raja-raja orang Het, orang Amori, orang Kanaan, orang Feris, orang Hewi dan orang Yebus,(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:1 Now it came about when all the kings who were beyond the Jordan, in the hill country and in the lowland and on all the coast of the Great Sea toward Lebanon, the Hittite and the Amorite, the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite and the Jebusite, heard of it,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:2---- Jos 9:2 bergabunglah mereka dengan seia sekata untuk memerangi Yosua dan orang Israel.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:2 that they gathered themselves together with one accord to fight with Joshua and with Israel.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:3---- Jos 9:3 Tetapi ketika terdengar kepada penduduk negeri Gibeon apa yang dilakukan Yosua terhadap Yerikho dan Ai,(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:3 When the inhabitants of Gibeon heard what Joshua had done to Jericho and to Ai,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:4---- Jos 9:4 maka merekapun bertindak dengan memakai akal: mereka pergi menyediakan bekal, mengambil karung yang buruk-buruk untuk dimuatkan ke atas keledai mereka dan kirbat anggur yang buruk-buruk, yang robek dan dijahit kembali,(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:4 they also acted craftily and set out as envoys, and took worn-out sacks on their donkeys, and wineskins worn-out and torn and mended,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:5---- Jos 9:5 dan kasut yang buruk-buruk dan ditambal untuk dikenakan pada kaki mereka dan pakaian yang buruk-buruk untuk dikenakan oleh mereka, sedang segala roti bekal mereka telah kering, tinggal remah-remah belaka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:5 and worn-out and patched sandals on their feet, and worn-out clothes on themselves; and all the bread of their provision was dry and had become crumbled.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:6---- Jos 9:6 Demikianlah mereka pergi kepada Yosua, ke tempat perkemahan di Gilgal. Berkatalah mereka kepadanya dan kepada orang-orang Israel itu: "Kami ini datang dari negeri jauh; maka sekarang ikatlah perjanjian dengan kami."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:6 They went to Joshua to the camp at Gilgal and said to him and to the men of Israel, "We have come from a far country; now therefore, make a covenant with us."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:7---- Jos 9:7 Tetapi berkatalah orang-orang Israel kepada orang-orang Hewi itu: "Barangkali kamu ini diam di tengah-tengah kami, bagaimana mungkin kami mengikat perjanjian dengan kamu?"(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:7 The men of Israel said to the Hivites, "Perhaps you are living within our land; how then shall we make a covenant with you?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:8---- Jos 9:8 Lalu kata mereka kepada Yosua: "Kami ini hamba-hambamu." Tanya Yosua: "Siapakah kamu ini dan dari manakah kamu datang?"(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:8 But they said to Joshua, "We are your servants." Then Joshua said to them, "Who are you and where do you come from?"(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:9---- Jos 9:9 Jawab mereka kepadanya: "Dari negeri yang sangat jauh hamba-hambamu ini datang karena nama TUHAN, Allahmu, sebab kami telah mendengar kabar tentang Dia, yakni segala yang dilakukan-Nya di Mesir,(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:9 They said to him, "Your servants have come from a very far country because of the fame of the Lord your God; for we have heard the report of Him and all that He did in Egypt,(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:10---- Jos 9:10 dan segala yang dilakukan-Nya terhadap kedua raja orang Amori itu di seberang sungai Yordan, Sihon, raja Hesybon, dan Og, raja Basan, yang diam di Asytarot.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:10 and all that He did to the two kings of the Amorites who were beyond the Jordan, to Sihon king of Heshbon and to Og king of Bashan who was at Ashtaroth.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:11---- Jos 9:11 Sebab itu para tua-tua kami dan seluruh penduduk negeri kami berkata kepada kami, demikian: Bawalah bekal untuk di jalan dan pergilah menemui mereka dan berkatalah kepada mereka: Kami ini hamba-hambamu, maka sekarang ikatlah perjanjian dengan kami.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:11 So our elders and all the inhabitants of our country spoke to us, saying, 'Take provisions in your hand for the journey, and go to meet them and say to them, "We are your servants; now then, make a covenant with us."'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:12---- Jos 9:12 Inilah roti kami: masih panas ketika kami bawa sebagai bekal dari rumah pada hari kami berangkat berjalan mendapatkan kamu, tetapi sekarang, lihatlah, telah kering dan tinggal remah-remah belaka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:12 This our bread was warm when we took it for our provisions out of our houses on the day that we left to come to you; but now behold, it is dry and has become crumbled.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:13---- Jos 9:13 Inilah kirbat-kirbat anggur, yang masih baru ketika kami mengisinya, tetapi lihatlah, telah robek; dan inilah pakaian dan kasut kami, semuanya telah buruk-buruk karena perjalanan yang sangat jauh itu."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:13 These wineskins which we filled were new, and behold, they are torn; and these our clothes and our sandals are worn out because of the very long journey."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:14---- Jos 9:14 Lalu orang-orang Israel mengambil bekal orang-orang itu, tetapi tidak meminta keputusan TUHAN.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:14 So the men of Israel took some of their provisions, and did not ask for the counsel of the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:15---- Jos 9:15 Maka Yosua mengadakan persahabatan dengan mereka dan mengikat perjanjian dengan mereka, bahwa ia akan membiarkan mereka hidup; dan para pemimpin umat itu bersumpah kepada mereka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:15 Joshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them, to let them live; and the leaders of the congregation swore an oath to them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:16---- Jos 9:16 Tetapi setelah lewat tiga hari, sesudah orang Israel mengikat perjanjian dengan orang-orang itu, terdengarlah oleh mereka, bahwa orang-orang itu tinggal dekat mereka, bahkan diam di tengah-tengah mereka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:16 It came about at the end of three days after they had made a covenant with them, that they heard that they were neighbors and that they were living within their land.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:17---- Jos 9:17 Sebab orang Israel berangkat pergi dan pada hari ketiga sampai ke kota-kota orang-orang itu; adapun kota-kota itu ialah Gibeon, Kefira, Beerot dan Kiryat-Yearim.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:17 Then the sons of Israel set out and came to their cities on the third day. Now their cities were Gibeon and Chephirah and Beeroth and Kiriath-jearim.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:18---- Jos 9:18 Orang Israel tidak menewaskan, sebab para pemimpin umat telah bersumpah kepada mereka demi TUHAN, Allah Israel. Lalu bersungut-sungutlah segenap umat kepada para pemimpin.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:18 The sons of Israel did not strike them because the leaders of the congregation had sworn to them by the Lord the God of Israel. And the whole congregation grumbled against the leaders.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:19---- Jos 9:19 Berkatalah pemimpin-pemimpin itu kepada seluruh umat: "Kami telah bersumpah kepada mereka demi TUHAN, Allah Israel; oleh sebab itu kita tidak dapat mengusik mereka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:19 But all the leaders said to the whole congregation, "We have sworn to them by the Lord, the God of Israel, and now we cannot touch them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:20---- Jos 9:20 Beginilah akan kita perlakukan mereka: membiarkan mereka hidup, supaya kita jangan tertimpa murka karena sumpah yang telah kita ikrarkan itu kepada mereka."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:20 This we will do to them, even let them live, so that wrath will not be upon us for the oath which we swore to them."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:21---- Jos 9:21 Lagi kata para pemimpin kepada mereka: "Biarlah mereka hidup." Maka merekapun dijadikan tukang belah kayu dan tukang timba air untuk segenap umat, seperti yang ditetapkan oleh para pemimpin mengenai mereka.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:21 The leaders said to them, "Let them live." So they became hewers of wood and drawers of water for the whole congregation, just as the leaders had spoken to them.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:22---- Jos 9:22 Lalu Yosua memanggil mereka dan berkata kepada mereka, demikian: "Mengapa kamu menipu kami dengan berkata: Kami ini tinggal sangat jauh dari pada kamu, padahal kamu diam di tengah-tengah kami?(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:22 Then Joshua called for them and spoke to them, saying, "Why have you deceived us, saying, 'We are very far from you,' when you are living within our land?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:23---- Jos 9:23 Oleh sebab itu, terkutuklah kamu dan tak putus-putusnya kamu menjadi hamba, tukang belah kayu dan tukang timba air untuk rumah Allahku."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:23 Now therefore, you are cursed, and you shall never cease being slaves, both hewers of wood and drawers of water for the house of my God."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:24---- Jos 9:24 Jawab mereka kepada Yosua, katanya: "Sebab telah dikabarkan dengan sungguh-sungguh kepada hamba-hambamu ini, bahwa TUHAN, Allahmu, memerintahkan kepada Musa hamba-Nya, memberikan seluruh negeri itu kepadamu dan memunahkan seluruh penduduk negeri itu dari depan kamu, maka sangatlah kami takut kehilangan nyawa, menghadapi kamu; itulah sebabnya kami melakukan yang demikian.(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:24 So they answered Joshua and said, "Because it was certainly told your servants that the Lord your God had commanded His servant Moses to give you all the land, and to destroy all the inhabitants of the land before you; therefore we feared greatly for our lives because of you, and have done this thing.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:25---- Jos 9:25 Maka sekarang, kami ini dalam tanganmu; perlakukanlah kami seperti yang kaupandang baik dan benar untuk dilakukan kepada kami."(Malay) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jos 9:25 Now behold, we are in your hands; do as it seems good and right in your sight to do to us."(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Joshua 9:26---- Jos 9:26 Demikianlah dilakukannya kepada mereka.
