Abdías 1:1 Visión de Abdías. Así dice Jehová el Señor en cuanto a Edom: Hemos oído el pregón de Jehová, y mensajero es enviado a las gentes. Levantaos, y levantémonos contra ella en batalla.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oba 1:1 The vision of Obadiah. Thus says the Lord God concerning Edom-- We have heard a report from the Lord, And an envoy has been sent among the nations saying, "Arise and let us go against her for battle"--(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Obadiah 1:2---- Abdías 1:2 He aquí, te he hecho pequeño entre las naciones; despreciado eres tú en gran manera.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oba 1:2 "Behold, I will make you small among the nations; You are greatly despised.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Obadiah 1:3---- Abdías 1:3 La soberbia de tu corazón te ha engañado, tú que moras en las hendiduras de las peñas, en tu altísima morada; que dices en tu corazón: ¿Quién me derribará a tierra?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oba 1:3 "The arrogance of your heart has deceived you, You who live in the clefts of the rock, In the loftiness of your dwelling place, Who say in your heart, 'Who will bring me down to earth?'(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Obadiah 1:4---- Abdías 1:4 Aunque te remontares como el águila, aunque entre las estrellas pusieres tu nido, de ahí te derribaré, dice Jehová.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oba 1:4 "Though you build high like the eagle, Though you set your nest among the stars, From there I will bring you down," declares the Lord.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Obadiah 1:5---- Abdías 1:5 Si ladrones vinieran a ti, o robadores de noche (¡cómo has sido destruido!), ¿no hurtarán lo que les bastase? Si entraran a ti vendimiadores, ¿no dejarían [algún] rebusco?(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oba 1:5 "If thieves came to you, If robbers by night" O how you will be ruined!-- Would they not steal only until they had enough? If grape gatherers came to you, Would they not leave some gleanings?(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Obadiah 1:6---- Abdías 1:6 ¡Cómo fueron escudriñadas [las cosas] de Esaú, y sus tesoros escondidos fueron buscados!(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oba 1:6 "O how Esau will be ransacked, And his hidden treasures searched out!(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Obadiah 1:7---- Abdías 1:7 Hasta el término te hicieron llegar todos tus aliados; aquellos que estaban en paz contigo te han engañado, y prevalecieron contra ti; [los que comían] tu pan, pusieron el lazo debajo de ti; no [hay] en él entendimiento.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oba 1:7 "All the men allied with you Will send you forth to the border, And the men at peace with you Will deceive you and overpower you. They who eat your bread Will set an ambush for you. And do not rejoice over the sons of Judah In the day of their destruction; Yes, do not boast In the day of their distress.(NASB-1995) ================================================================================ ---- Obadiah 1:13---- Abdías 1:13 No habías de haber entrado por la puerta de mi pueblo en el día de su quebrantamiento; no, no habías tú de haber mirado su mal el día de su quebranto, ni haber echado mano a sus bienes el día de su calamidad.(Spanish) -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Oba 1:13 "Do not enter the gate of My people In the day of their disaster. Yes, you, do not gloat over their calamity In the day of their disaster. As you have done, it will be done to you.
