Today's Date: ======= Numbers 12:1 ============ Num 12:1 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Cushite woman whom he had married (for he had married a Cushite woman);(nasb) Num 12:1 καὶ ἐλάλησεν Μαριαμ καὶ Ααρων κατὰ Μωυσῆ ἕνεκεν τῆς γυναικὸς τῆς Αἰθιοπίσσης ἣν ἔλαβεν Μωυσῆς ὅτι γυναῖκα Αἰθιόπισσαν ἔλαβεν (lxx) Num 12:1 Locutaque est Maria et Aaron contra Moysen propter uxorem ejus Æthiopissam,(vulgate) Num 12:1 Und Mirjam und Aaron redeten wider Mose um seines Weibes willen, der Mohrin, die er genommen hatte, darum daß er eine Mohrin zum Weibe genommen hatte,(dhs) Num 12:1 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:2 ============ Num 12:2 and they said, "Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us as well?" And the Lord heard it.(nasb) Num 12:2 καὶ εἶπαν μὴ Μωυσῇ μόνῳ λελάληκεν κύριος οὐχὶ καὶ ἡμῖν ἐλάλησεν καὶ ἤκουσεν κύριος (lxx) Num 12:2 et dixerunt: Num per solum Moysen locutus est Dominus? nonne et nobis similiter est locutus? Quod cum audisset Dominus(vulgate) Num 12:2 und sprachen: Redet denn der HERR allein durch Mose? Redet er nicht auch durch uns? Und der HERR hörte es.(dhs) Num 12:2 So they said, "Has the Lord indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?" And the Lord heard it.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:3 ============ Num 12:3 (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than any man who was on the face of the earth.)(nasb) Num 12:3 καὶ ὁ ἄνθρωπος Μωυσῆς πραῢς σφόδρα παρὰ πάντας τοὺς ἀνθρώπους τοὺς ὄντας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς (lxx) Num 12:3 (erat enim Moyses vir mitissimus super omnes homines qui morabantur in terra),(vulgate) Num 12:3 Aber Mose war ein sehr geplagter Mensch über alle Menschen auf Erden.(dhs) Num 12:3 (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:4 ============ Num 12:4 Suddenly the Lord said to Moses and Aaron and to Miriam, "You three come out to the tent of meeting." So the three of them came out.(nasb) Num 12:4 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος παραχρῆμα πρὸς Μωυσῆν καὶ Μαριαμ καὶ Ααρων ἐξέλθατε ὑμεῖς οἱ τρεῖς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐξῆλθον οἱ τρεῖς εἰς τὴν σκηνὴν τοῦ μαρτυρίου (lxx) Num 12:4 statim locutus est ad eum, et ad Aaron et Mariam: Egredimini vos tantum tres ad tabernaculum fœderis. Cumque fuissent egressi,(vulgate) Num 12:4 Und plötzlich sprach der HERR zu Mose und zu Aaron und zu Mirjam: Geht heraus, ihr drei, zu der Hütte des Stifts. Und sie gingen alle drei heraus.(dhs) Num 12:4 Suddenly the Lord said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, "Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!" So the three came out.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:5 ============ Num 12:5 Then the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud and stood at the doorway of the tent, and He called Aaron and Miriam. When they had both come forward,(nasb) Num 12:5 καὶ κατέβη κύριος ἐν στύλῳ νεφέλης καὶ ἔστη ἐπὶ τῆς θύρας τῆς σκηνῆς τοῦ μαρτυρίου καὶ ἐκλήθησαν Ααρων καὶ Μαριαμ καὶ ἐξήλθοσαν ἀμφότεροι (lxx) Num 12:5 descendit Dominus in columna nubis, et stetit in introitu tabernaculi, vocans Aaron et Mariam. Qui cum issent,(vulgate) Num 12:5 Da kam der HERR hernieder in der Wolkensäule und trat in der Hütte Tür und rief Aaron und Mirjam; und die beiden gingen hinaus.(dhs) Num 12:5 Then the Lord came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:6 ============ Num 12:6 He said, "Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, shall make Myself known to him in a vision. I shall speak with him in a dream.(nasb) Num 12:6 καὶ εἶπεν πρὸς αὐτούς ἀκούσατε τῶν λόγων μου ἐὰν γένηται προφήτης ὑμῶν κυρίῳ ἐν ὁράματι αὐτῷ γνωσθήσομαι καὶ ἐν ὕπνῳ λαλήσω αὐτῷ (lxx) Num 12:6 dixit ad eos: Audite sermones meos: si quis fuerit inter vos propheta Domini, in visione apparebo ei, vel per somnium loquar ad illum.(vulgate) Num 12:6 Und er sprach: Höret meine Worte: Ist jemand unter euch ein Prophet des HERRN, dem will ich mich kundmachen in einem Gesicht oder will mit ihm reden in einem Traum.(dhs) Num 12:6 Then He said, "Hear now My words: "If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:7 ============ Num 12:7 "Not so, with My servant Moses, He is faithful in all My household;(nasb) Num 12:7 οὐχ οὕτως ὁ θεράπων μου Μωυσῆς ἐν ὅλῳ τῷ οἴκῳ μου πιστός ἐστιν (lxx) Num 12:7 At non talis servus meus Moyses, qui in omni domo mea fidelissimus est:(vulgate) Num 12:7 Aber nicht also mein Knecht Mose, der in meinem ganzen Hause treu ist.(dhs) Num 12:7 Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:8 ============ Num 12:8 With him I speak mouth to mouth, Even openly, and not in dark sayings, And he beholds the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant, against Moses?"(nasb) Num 12:8 στόμα κατὰ στόμα λαλήσω αὐτῷ ἐν εἴδει καὶ οὐ δι᾽ αἰνιγμάτων καὶ τὴν δόξαν κυρίου εἶδεν καὶ διὰ τί οὐκ ἐφοβήθητε καταλαλῆσαι κατὰ τοῦ θεράποντός μου Μωυσῆ (lxx) Num 12:8 ore enim ad os loquor ei: et palam, et non per ænigmata et figuras Dominum videt. Quare ergo non timuistis detrahere servo meo Moysi?~(vulgate) Num 12:8 Mündlich rede ich mit ihm, und er sieht den HERRN in seiner Gestalt, nicht durch dunkle Worte oder Gleichnisse. Warum habt ihr euch denn nicht gefürchtet, wider meinen Knecht Mose zu reden?(dhs) Num 12:8 I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?"(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:9 ============ Num 12:9 So the anger of the Lord burned against them and He departed.(nasb) Num 12:9 καὶ ὀργὴ θυμοῦ κυρίου ἐπ᾽ αὐτοῖς καὶ ἀπῆλθεν (lxx) Num 12:9 Iratusque contra eos, abiit:(vulgate) Num 12:9 Und der Zorn des HERRN ergrimmte über sie, und er wandte sich weg;(dhs) Num 12:9 So the anger of the Lord was aroused against them, and He departed.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:10 ============ Num 12:10 But when the cloud had withdrawn from over the tent, behold, Miriam was leprous, as white as snow. As Aaron turned toward Miriam, behold, she was leprous.(nasb) Num 12:10 καὶ ἡ νεφέλη ἀπέστη ἀπὸ τῆς σκηνῆς καὶ ἰδοὺ Μαριαμ λεπρῶσα ὡσεὶ χιών καὶ ἐπέβλεψεν Ααρων ἐπὶ Μαριαμ καὶ ἰδοὺ λεπρῶσα (lxx) Num 12:10 nubes quoque recessit quæ erat super tabernaculum: et ecce Maria apparuit candens lepra quasi nix. Cumque respexisset eam Aaron, et vidisset perfusam lepra,(vulgate) Num 12:10 dazu die Wolke wich auch von der Hütte. Und siehe da war Mirjam aussätzig wie der Schnee. Und Aaron wandte sich zu Mirjam und wird gewahr, daß sie aussätzig ist,(dhs) Num 12:10 And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:11 ============ Num 12:11 Then Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my lord, I beg you, do not account this sin to us, in which we have acted foolishly and in which we have sinned.(nasb) Num 12:11 καὶ εἶπεν Ααρων πρὸς Μωυσῆν δέομαι κύριε μὴ συνεπιθῇ ἡμῖν ἁμαρτίαν διότι ἠγνοήσαμεν καθότι ἡμάρτομεν (lxx) Num 12:11 ait ad Moysen: Obsecro, domine mi, ne imponas nobis hoc peccatum quod stulte commisimus,(vulgate) Num 12:11 Und sprach zu Mose: Ach, mein Herr, laß die Sünde nicht auf uns bleiben, mit der wir töricht getan und uns versündigt haben,(dhs) Num 12:11 So Aaron said to Moses, "Oh, my lord! Please do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:12 ============ Num 12:12 Oh, do not let her be like one dead, whose flesh is half eaten away when he comes from his mother's womb!"(nasb) Num 12:12 μὴ γένηται ὡσεὶ ἴσον θανάτῳ ὡσεὶ ἔκτρωμα ἐκπορευόμενον ἐκ μήτρας μητρὸς καὶ κατεσθίει τὸ ἥμισυ τῶν σαρκῶν αὐτῆς (lxx) Num 12:12 ne fiat hæc quasi mortua, et ut abortivum quod projicitur de vulva matris suæ: ecce jam medium carnis ejus devoratum est a lepra.(vulgate) Num 12:12 daß diese nicht sei wie ein Totes, das von seiner Mutter Leibe kommt und ist schon die Hälfte seines Fleisches gefressen.(dhs) Num 12:12 Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb!"(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:13 ============ Num 12:13 Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, "O God, heal her, I pray!"(nasb) Num 12:13 καὶ ἐβόησεν Μωυσῆς πρὸς κύριον λέγων ὁ θεός δέομαί σου ἴασαι αὐτήν (lxx) Num 12:13 Clamavitque Moyses ad Dominum, dicens: Deus, obsecro, sana eam.(vulgate) Num 12:13 Mose aber schrie zu dem HERRN und sprach: Ach Gott, heile sie!(dhs) Num 12:13 So Moses cried out to the Lord, saying, "Please heal her, O God, I pray!"(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:14 ============ Num 12:14 But the Lord said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, would she not bear her shame for seven days? Let her be shut up for seven days outside the camp, and afterward she may be received again."(nasb) Num 12:14 καὶ εἶπεν κύριος πρὸς Μωυσῆν εἰ ὁ πατὴρ αὐτῆς πτύων ἐνέπτυσεν εἰς τὸ πρόσωπον αὐτῆς οὐκ ἐντραπήσεται ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἀφορισθήτω ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα εἰσελεύσεται (lxx) Num 12:14 Cui respondit Dominus: Si pater ejus spuisset in faciem illius, nonne debuerat saltem septem diebus rubore suffundi? separetur septem diebus extra castra, et postea revocabitur.(vulgate) Num 12:14 Der HERR sprach zu Mose: Wenn ihr Vater ihr ins Angesicht gespieen hätte, sollte sie sich nicht sieben Tage schämen? Laß sie verschließen sieben Tage außerhalb des Lagers; darnach laß sie wieder aufnehmen.(dhs) Num 12:14 Then the Lord said to Moses, "If her father had but spit in her face, would she not be shamed seven days? Let her be shut out of the camp seven days, and afterward she may be received again."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:15 ============ Num 12:15 So Miriam was shut up outside the camp for seven days, and the people did not move on until Miriam was received again.(nasb) Num 12:15 καὶ ἀφωρίσθη Μαριαμ ἔξω τῆς παρεμβολῆς ἑπτὰ ἡμέρας καὶ ὁ λαὸς οὐκ ἐξῆρεν ἕως ἐκαθαρίσθη Μαριαμ (lxx) Num 12:15 Exclusa est itaque Maria extra castra septem diebus:(vulgate) Num 12:15 Also ward Mirjam sieben Tage verschlossen außerhalb des Lagers. Und das Volk zog nicht weiter, bis Mirjam aufgenommen ward.(dhs) Num 12:15 So Miriam was shut out of the camp seven days, and the people did not journey till Miriam was brought in again.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 12:16 ============ Num 12:16 Afterward, however, the people moved out from Hazeroth and camped in the wilderness of Paran.(nasb) Num 12:16 καὶ μετὰ ταῦτα ἐξῆρεν ὁ λαὸς ἐξ Ασηρωθ καὶ παρενέβαλον ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ τοῦ Φαραν (lxx) Num 12:16 et populus non est motus de loco illo, donec revocata est Maria.(vulgate) Num 12:16 Darnach zog das Volk von Hazeroth und lagerte sich in die Wüste Pharan.(dhs) Num 12:16 And afterward the people moved from Hazeroth and camped in the Wilderness of Paran.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 13:1 ============ top of the page
