Et dixit Dominus ad David: Ascende, quia tradens dabo Philisthiim in manu tua.(vulgate) 2Sa 5:19 Und David fragte den HERRN und sprach: Soll ich hinaufziehen wider die Philister? und willst du sie in meine Hand geben? Der HERR sprach zu David: Zieh hinauf! ich will die Philister in deine Hände geben.(dhs) 2Sa 5:19 So David inquired of the Lord, saying, "Shall I go up against the Philistines? Will You deliver them into my hand?" And the Lord said to David, "Go up, for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines into your hand."(nkjv) ======= 2 Samuel 5:20 ============ 2Sa 5:20 So David came to Baal-perazim and defeated them there; and he said, "The Lord has broken through my enemies before me like the breakthrough of waters." Therefore he named that place Baal-perazim.(nasb) 2Sa 5:20 καὶ ἦλθεν Δαυιδ ἐκ τῶν ἐπάνω διακοπῶν καὶ ἔκοψεν τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους ἐκεῖ καὶ εἶπεν Δαυιδ διέκοψεν κύριος τοὺς ἐχθρούς μου τοὺς ἀλλοφύλους ἐνώπιον ἐμοῦ ὡς διακόπτεται ὕδατα διὰ τοῦτο ἐκλήθη τὸ ὄνομα τοῦ τόπου ἐκείνου ἐπάνω διακοπῶν (lxx) 2Sa 5:20 Venit ergo David in Baal Pharasim: et percussit eos ibi, et dixit: Divisit Dominus inimicos meos coram me, sicut dividuntur aquæ. Propterea vocatum est nomen loci illius, Baal Pharasim.(vulgate) 2Sa 5:20 Und David kam gen Baal-Perazim und schlug sie daselbst und sprach: Der HERR hat meine Feinde vor mir voneinander gerissen, wie die Wasser reißen.
