Und Hosea ward ihm untertan, daß er ihm Geschenke gab.(dhs) 2Ki 17:3 Shalmaneser king of Assyria came up against him; and Hoshea became his vassal, and paid him tribute money.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:4 ============ 2Ki 17:4 But the king of Assyria found conspiracy in Hoshea, who had sent messengers to So king of Egypt and had offered no tribute to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year; so the king of Assyria shut him up and bound him in prison.(nasb) 2Ki 17:4 καὶ εὗρεν βασιλεὺς Ἀσσυρίων ἐν τῷ Ωσηε ἀδικίαν ὅτι ἀπέστειλεν ἀγγέλους πρὸς Σηγωρ βασιλέα Αἰγύπτου καὶ οὐκ ἤνεγκεν μαναα τῷ βασιλεῖ Ἀσσυρίων ἐν τῷ ἐνιαυτῷ ἐκείνῳ καὶ ἐπολιόρκησεν αὐτὸν ὁ βασιλεὺς Ἀσσυρίων καὶ ἔδησεν αὐτὸν ἐν οἴκῳ φυλακῆς (lxx) 2Ki 17:4 Cumque deprehendisset rex Assyriorum Osee, quod rebellare nitens misisset nuntios ad Sua regem Ægypti ne præstaret tributa regi Assyriorum sicut singulis annis solitus erat, obsedit eum, et vinctum misit in carcerem.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:4 Da aber der König von Assyrien inneward, daß Hosea einen Bund anrichtete und hatte Boten zu So, dem König in Ägypten, gesandt, griff er ihn und legte ihn ins Gefängnis.(dhs) 2Ki 17:4 And the king of Assyria uncovered a conspiracy by Hoshea; for he had sent messengers to So, king of Egypt, and brought no tribute to the king of Assyria, as he had done year by year. Moreover, they built for themselves high places in all their towns, from watchtower to fortified city.(nasb) 2Ki 17:9 καὶ ὅσοι ἠμφιέσαντο οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ λόγους οὐχ οὕτως κατὰ κυρίου θεοῦ αὐτῶν καὶ ᾠκοδόμησαν ἑαυτοῖς ὑψηλὰ ἐν πάσαις ταῖς πόλεσιν αὐτῶν ἀπὸ πύργου φυλασσόντων ἕως πόλεως ὀχυρᾶς (lxx) 2Ki 17:9 Et offenderunt filii Israël verbis non rectis Dominum Deum suum: et ædificaverunt sibi excelsa in cunctis urbibus suis, a turre custodum usque ad civitatem munitam.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:9 und die Kinder Israels schmückten ihre Sachen wider den HERRN, ihren Gott, die doch nicht gut waren, also daß sie sich Höhen bauten in allen Städten, von den Wachttürmen bis zu den festen Städten,(dhs) 2Ki 17:9 Also the children of Israel secretly did against the Lord their God things that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower to fortified city.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:10 ============ 2Ki 17:10 They set for themselves sacred pillars and Asherim on every high hill and under every green tree,(nasb) 2Ki 17:10 καὶ ἐστήλωσαν ἑαυτοῖς στήλας καὶ ἄλση ἐπὶ παντὶ βουνῷ ὑψηλῷ καὶ ὑποκάτω παντὸς ξύλου ἀλσώδους (lxx) 2Ki 17:10 Feceruntque sibi statuas et lucos in omni colle sublimi, et subter omne lignum nemorosum:(vulgate) 2Ki 17:10 und richteten Säulen auf und Ascherabilder auf allen hohen Hügeln und unter allen grünen Bäumen,(dhs) 2Ki 17:10 They set up for themselves sacred pillars and wooden images on every high hill and under every green tree.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:11 ============ 2Ki 17:11 and there they burned incense on all the high places as the nations did which the Lord had carried away to exile before them; and they did evil things provoking the Lord.(nasb) 2Ki 17:11 καὶ ἐθυμίασαν ἐκεῖ ἐν πᾶσιν ὑψηλοῖς καθὼς τὰ ἔθνη ἃ ἀπῴκισεν κύριος ἐκ προσώπου αὐτῶν καὶ ἐποίησαν κοινωνοὺς καὶ ἐχάραξαν τοῦ παροργίσαι τὸν κύριον (lxx) 2Ki 17:11 et adolebant ibi incensum super aras in morem gentium quas transtulerat Dominus a facie eorum: feceruntque verba pessima irritantes Dominum.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:11 und räucherten daselbst auf allen Höhen wie die Heiden, die der HERR vor ihnen weggetrieben hatte, und sie trieben böse Stücke, den HERRN zu erzürnen,(dhs) 2Ki 17:11 There they burned incense on all the high places, like the nations whom the Lord had carried away before them; and they did wicked things to provoke the Lord to anger,(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:12 ============ 2Ki 17:12 They served idols, concerning which the Lord had said to them, "You shall not do this thing."(nasb) 2Ki 17:12 καὶ ἐλάτρευσαν τοῖς εἰδώλοις οἷς εἶπεν κύριος αὐτοῖς οὐ ποιήσετε τὸ ῥῆμα τοῦτο κυρίῳ (lxx) 2Ki 17:12 Et coluerunt immunditias de quibus præcepit eis Dominus ne facerent verbum hoc.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:12 und dienten den Götzen, davon der HERR zu ihnen gesagt hatte: Ihr sollt solches nicht tun;(dhs) 2Ki 17:12 for they served idols, of which the Lord had said to them, "You shall not do this thing."(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:13 ============ 2Ki 17:13 Yet the Lord warned Israel and Judah through all His prophets and every seer, saying, "Turn from your evil ways and keep My commandments, My statutes according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you through My servants the prophets."(nasb) 2Ki 17:13 καὶ διεμαρτύρατο κύριος ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ καὶ ἐν τῷ Ιουδα ἐν χειρὶ πάντων τῶν προφητῶν αὐτοῦ παντὸς ὁρῶντος λέγων ἀποστράφητε ἀπὸ τῶν ὁδῶν ὑμῶν τῶν πονηρῶν καὶ φυλάξατε τὰς ἐντολάς μου καὶ τὰ δικαιώματά μου καὶ πάντα τὸν νόμον ὃν ἐνετειλάμην τοῖς πατράσιν ὑμῶν ὅσα ἀπέστειλα αὐτοῖς ἐν χειρὶ τῶν δούλων μου τῶν προφητῶν (lxx) 2Ki 17:13 Et testificatus est Dominus in Israël et in Juda per manum omnium prophetarum et videntium, dicens: Revertimini a viis vestris pessimis, et custodite præcepta mea et cæremonias, juxta omnem legem quam præcepi patribus vestris, et sicut misi ad vos in manu servorum meorum prophetarum.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:13 und wenn der HERR bezeugte in Israel und Juda durch alle Propheten und Seher und ließ ihnen sagen: Kehret um von euren bösen Wegen und haltet meine Gebote und Rechte nach allem Gesetz, das ich euren Vätern geboten habe und das ich zu euch gesandt habe durch meine Knechte, die Propheten:(dhs) 2Ki 17:13 Yet the Lord testified against Israel and against Judah, by all of His prophets, every seer, saying, "Turn from your evil ways, and keep My commandments and My statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by My servants the prophets."(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:14 ============ 2Ki 17:14 However, they did not listen, but stiffened their neck like their fathers, who did not believe in the Lord their God.(nasb) 2Ki 17:14 καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσαν καὶ ἐσκλήρυναν τὸν νῶτον αὐτῶν ὑπὲρ τὸν νῶτον τῶν πατέρων αὐτῶν (lxx) 2Ki 17:14 Qui non audierunt, sed induraverunt cervicem suam juxta cervicem patrum suorum, qui noluerunt obedire Domino Deo suo.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:14 so gehorchen sie nicht, sondern härteten ihren Nacken gleich dem Nacken ihrer Väter, die nicht glaubten an den HERRN, ihren Gott;(dhs) 2Ki 17:14 Nevertheless they would not hear, but stiffened their necks, like the necks of their fathers, who did not believe in the Lord their God.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:15 ============ 2Ki 17:15 They rejected His statutes and His covenant which He made with their fathers and His warnings with which He warned them. they followed idols, became idolaters, and went after the nations who were all around them, concerning whom the Lord had charged them that they should not do like them.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:16 ============ 2Ki 17:16 They forsook all the commandments of the Lord their God and made for themselves molten images, even two calves, and made an Asherah and worshiped all the host of heaven and served Baal.(nasb) 2Ki 17:16 ἐγκατέλιπον τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου θεοῦ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐποίησαν ἑαυτοῖς χώνευμα δύο δαμάλεις καὶ ἐποίησαν ἄλση καὶ προσεκύνησαν πάσῃ τῇ δυνάμει τοῦ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἐλάτρευσαν τῷ Βααλ (lxx) 2Ki 17:16 Et dereliquerunt omnia præcepta Domini Dei sui: feceruntque sibi conflatiles duos vitulos, et lucos, et adoraverunt universam militiam cæli: servieruntque Baal,(vulgate) 2Ki 17:16 aber sie verließen alle Gebote des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und machten sich zwei gegossene Kälber und Ascherabild und beteten an alles Heer des Himmels und dienten Baal(dhs) 2Ki 17:16 So they left all the commandments of the Lord their God, made for themselves a molded image and two calves, made a wooden image and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:17 ============ 2Ki 17:17 Then they made their sons and their daughters pass through the fire, and practiced divination and enchantments, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, provoking Him.(nasb) 2Ki 17:17 καὶ διῆγον τοὺς υἱοὺς αὐτῶν καὶ τὰς θυγατέρας αὐτῶν ἐν πυρὶ καὶ ἐμαντεύοντο μαντείας καὶ οἰωνίζοντο καὶ ἐπράθησαν τοῦ ποιῆσαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐν ὀφθαλμοῖς κυρίου παροργίσαι αὐτόν (lxx) 2Ki 17:17 et consecraverunt filios suos et filias suas per ignem: et divinationibus inserviebant, et auguriis: et tradiderunt se ut facerent malum coram Domino, ut irritarent eum.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:17 und ließen ihre Söhne und Töchter durchs Feuer gehen und gingen mit Weissagen und Zaubern um und verkauften sich, zu tun, was dem HERRN übel gefiel, ihn zu erzürnen:(dhs) 2Ki 17:17 And they caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and soothsaying, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:18 ============ 2Ki 17:18 So the Lord was very angry with Israel and removed them from His sight; none was left except the tribe of Judah.(nasb) 2Ki 17:18 καὶ ἐθυμώθη κύριος σφόδρα ἐν τῷ Ισραηλ καὶ ἀπέστησεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ τοῦ προσώπου αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐχ ὑπελείφθη πλὴν φυλὴ Ιουδα μονωτάτη (lxx) 2Ki 17:18 Iratusque est Dominus vehementer Israëli, et abstulit eos a conspectu suo, et non remansit nisi tribus Juda tantummodo.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:18 da ward der HERR sehr zornig über Israel und tat sie von seinem Angesicht, daß nichts übrigblieb denn der Stamm Juda allein.(dhs) 2Ki 17:18 Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel, and removed them from His sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah alone.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:19 ============ 2Ki 17:19 Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God, but walked in the customs which Israel had introduced.(nasb) 2Ki 17:19 καί γε Ιουδας οὐκ ἐφύλαξεν τὰς ἐντολὰς κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ αὐτῶν καὶ ἐπορεύθησαν ἐν τοῖς δικαιώμασιν Ισραηλ οἷς ἐποίησαν (lxx) 2Ki 17:19 Sed nec ipse Juda custodivit mandata Domini Dei sui: verum ambulavit in erroribus Israël, quos operatus fuerat.(vulgate) 2Ki 17:19 (Dazu hielten auch die von Juda nicht die Gebote des HERRN, ihres Gottes, und wandelten in den Sitten, darnach Israel getan hatte.)(dhs) 2Ki 17:19 Also Judah did not keep the commandments of the Lord their God, but walked in the statutes of Israel which they made.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:20 ============ 2Ki 17:20 The Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel and afflicted them and gave them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them out of His sight.(nasb) 2Ki 17:20 καὶ ἀπεώσαντο τὸν κύριον ἐν παντὶ σπέρματι Ισραηλ καὶ ἐσάλευσεν αὐτοὺς καὶ ἔδωκεν αὐτοὺς ἐν χειρὶ διαρπαζόντων αὐτούς ἕως οὗ ἀπέρριψεν αὐτοὺς ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ (lxx) 2Ki 17:20 Projecitque Dominus omne semen Israël, et afflixit eos, et tradidit eos in manu diripientium, donec projiceret eos a facie sua:(vulgate) 2Ki 17:20 Darum verwarf der HERR allen Samen Israels und drängte sie und gab sie in die Hände der Räuber, bis er sie verwarf von seinem Angesicht.(dhs) 2Ki 17:20 And the Lord rejected all the descendants of Israel, afflicted them, and delivered them into the hand of plunderers, until He had cast them from His sight.(nkjv) ======= 2 Kings 17:21 ============ 2Ki 17:21 When He had torn Israel from the house of David, they made Jeroboam the son of Nebat king.
