Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 30:1 ============ Jer 30:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,(nasb) Jer 30:1 τῇ Ιδουμαίᾳ τάδε λέγει κύριος οὐκ ἔστιν ἔτι σοφία ἐν Θαιμαν ἀπώλετο βουλὴ ἐκ συνετῶν ὤχετο σοφία αὐτῶν (lxx) Jer 30:1 Hoc verbum quod factum est ad Jeremiam a Domino, dicens:(vulgate) Jer 30:1 Dies ist das Wort, das vom HERRN geschah zu Jeremia:(dhs) Jer 30:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, saying,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:2 ============ Jer 30:2 "Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, 'Write all the words which I have spoken to you in a book.(nasb) Jer 30:2 ἠπατήθη ὁ τόπος αὐτῶν βαθύνατε εἰς κάθισιν οἱ κατοικοῦντες ἐν Δαιδαν ὅτι δύσκολα ἐποίησεν ἤγαγον ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸν ἐν χρόνῳ ᾧ ἐπεσκεψάμην ἐπ᾽ αὐτόν (lxx) Jer 30:2 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus Israël, dicens: Scribe tibi omnia verba quæ locutus sum ad te, in libro.(vulgate) Jer 30:2 So spricht der HERR, der Gott Israels: Schreibe dir alle Worte in ein Buch, die ich zu dir rede.(dhs) Jer 30:2 "Thus speaks the Lord God of Israel, saying: 'Write in a book for yourself all the words that I have spoken to you.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:3 ============ Jer 30:3 For behold, days are coming,' declares the Lord, 'when I will restore the fortunes of My people Israel and Judah. 'The Lord says, 'I will also bring them back to the land that I gave to their forefathers and they shall possess it.'"(nasb) Jer 30:3 ὅτι τρυγηταὶ ἦλθόν σοι οὐ καταλείψουσίν σοι καταλείμματα ὡς κλέπται ἐν νυκτὶ ἐπιθήσουσιν χεῖρα αὐτῶν (lxx) Jer 30:3 Ecce enim dies veniunt, dicit Dominus, et convertam conversionem populi mei Israël et Juda, ait Dominus: et convertam eos ad terram quam dedi patribus eorum, et possidebunt eam.(vulgate) Jer 30:3 Denn siehe, es kommt die Zeit, spricht der HERR, daß ich das Gefängnis meines Volkes Israel und Juda wenden will, spricht der HERR, und will sie wiederbringen in das Land, das ich ihren Vätern gegeben habe, daß sie es besitzen sollen.(dhs) Jer 30:3 For behold, the days are coming,' says the Lord, 'that I will bring back from captivity My people Israel and Judah,' says the Lord. 'And I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.' "(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:4 ============ Jer 30:4 Now these are the words which the Lord spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah:(nasb) Jer 30:4 ὅτι ἐγὼ κατέσυρα τὸν Ησαυ ἀνεκάλυψα τὰ κρυπτὰ αὐτῶν κρυβῆναι οὐ μὴ δύνωνται ὤλοντο διὰ χεῖρα ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ καὶ γείτονος αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔστιν (lxx) Jer 30:4 Et hæc verba quæ locutus est Dominus ad Israël et ad Judam:(vulgate) Jer 30:4 Dies sind aber die Worte, welche der HERR redet von Israel und Juda:(dhs) Jer 30:4 Now these are the words that the Lord spoke concerning Israel and Judah.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:5 ============ Jer 30:5 "For thus says the Lord, 'I have heard a sound of terror, Of dread, and there is no peace.(nasb) Jer 30:5 ὑπολείπεσθαι ὀρφανόν σου ἵνα ζήσηται καὶ ἐγὼ ζήσομαι καὶ χῆραι ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ πεποίθασιν (lxx) Jer 30:5 [Quoniam hæc dicit Dominus: Vocem terroris audivimus: formido, et non est pax.(vulgate) Jer 30:5 So spricht der HERR: Wir hören ein Geschrei des Schreckens; es ist eitel Furcht da und kein Friede.(dhs) Jer 30:5 "For thus says the Lord: 'We have heard a voice of trembling, Of fear, and not of peace.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:6 ============ Jer 30:6 'Ask now, and see If a male can give birth. Why do I see every man With his hands on his loins, as a woman in childbirth? And why have all faces turned pale?(nasb) Jer 30:6 ὅτι τάδε εἶπεν κύριος οἷς οὐκ ἦν νόμος πιεῖν τὸ ποτήριον ἔπιον καὶ σὺ ἀθῳωμένη οὐ μὴ ἀθῳωθῇς ὅτι πίνων πίεσαι (lxx) Jer 30:6 Interrogate, et videte si generat masculus: quare ergo vidi omnis viri manum super lumbum suum, quasi parturientis, et conversæ sunt universæ facies in auruginem?(vulgate) Jer 30:6 Forschet doch und sehet, ob ein Mann gebären könne? Wie geht es denn zu, daß ich alle Männer sehe ihre Hände auf ihren Hüften haben wie Weiber in Kindsnöten und alle Angesichter sind bleich?(dhs) Jer 30:6 Ask now, and see, Whether a man is ever in labor with child? So why do I see every man with his hands on his loins Like a woman in labor, And all faces turned pale?(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:7 ============ Jer 30:7 'Alas! for that day is great, There is none like it; And it is the time of Jacob's distress, But he will be saved from it.(nasb) Jer 30:7 ὅτι κατ᾽ ἐμαυτοῦ ὤμοσα λέγει κύριος ὅτι εἰς ἄβατον καὶ εἰς ὀνειδισμὸν καὶ εἰς κατάρασιν ἔσῃ ἐν μέσῳ αὐτῆς καὶ πᾶσαι αἱ πόλεις αὐτῆς ἔσονται ἔρημοι εἰς αἰῶνα (lxx) Jer 30:7 Væ! quia magna dies illa, nec est similis ejus: tempusque tribulationis est Jacob, et ex ipso salvabitur.(vulgate) Jer 30:7 Es ist ja ein großer Tag, und seinesgleichen ist nicht gewesen, und ist eine Zeit der Angst in Jakob; doch soll ihm daraus geholfen werden.(dhs) Jer 30:7 Alas! For that day is great, So that none is like it; And it is the time of Jacob's trouble, But he shall be saved out of it.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:8 ============ Jer 30:8 'It shall come about on that day,' declares the Lord of hosts, 'that I will break his yoke from off their neck and will tear off their bonds; and strangers will no longer make them their slaves.(nasb) Jer 30:8 ἀκοὴν ἤκουσα παρὰ κυρίου καὶ ἀγγέλους εἰς ἔθνη ἀπέστειλεν συνάχθητε καὶ παραγένεσθε εἰς αὐτήν ἀνάστητε εἰς πόλεμον (lxx) Jer 30:8 Et erit in die illa, ait Dominus exercituum: conteram jugum ejus de collo tuo, et vincula ejus dirumpam, et non dominabuntur ei amplius alieni:(vulgate) Jer 30:8 Es soll aber geschehen zu derselben Zeit, spricht der HERR Zebaoth, daß ich sein Joch von deinem Halse zerbrechen will und deine Bande zerreißen, daß er nicht mehr den Fremden dienen muß,(dhs) Jer 30:8 'For it shall come to pass in that day,' Says the Lord of hosts, 'That I will break his yoke from your neck, And will burst your bonds; Foreigners shall no more enslave them.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:9 ============ Jer 30:9 But they shall serve the Lord their God and David their king, whom I will raise up for them.(nasb) Jer 30:9 μικρὸν ἔδωκά σε ἐν ἔθνεσιν εὐκαταφρόνητον ἐν ἀνθρώποις (lxx) Jer 30:9 sed servient Domino Deo suo, et David regi suo, quem suscitabo eis.(vulgate) Jer 30:9 sondern sie werden dem HERRN, ihrem Gott, dienen und ihrem König David, welchen ich ihnen erwecken will.(dhs) Jer 30:9 But they shall serve the Lord their God, And David their king, Whom I will raise up for them.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:10 ============ Jer 30:10 'Fear not, O Jacob My servant,' declares the Lord, 'And do not be dismayed, O Israel; For behold, I will save you from afar And your offspring from the land of their captivity. And Jacob will return and will be quiet and at ease, And no one will make him afraid.(nasb) Jer 30:10 ἡ παιγνία σου ἐνεχείρησέν σοι ἰταμία καρδίας σου κατέλυσεν τρυμαλιὰς πετρῶν συνέλαβεν ἰσχὺν βουνοῦ ὑψηλοῦ ὅτι ὕψωσεν ὥσπερ ἀετὸς νοσσιὰν αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖθεν καθελῶ σε (lxx) Jer 30:10 Tu ergo ne timeas, serve meus Jacob, ait Dominus, neque paveas, Israël: quia ecce ego salvabo te de terra longinqua, et semen tuum de terra captivitatis eorum: et revertetur Jacob, et quiescet, et cunctis affluet bonis, et non erit quem formidet:(vulgate) Jer 30:10 Darum fürchte du dich nicht, mein Knecht Jakob, spricht der HERR, und entsetze dich nicht Israel. Denn siehe, ich will dir helfen aus fernen Landen und deinen Samen aus dem Lande des Gefängnisses, daß Jakob soll wiederkommen, in Frieden leben und Genüge haben, und niemand soll ihn schrecken.(dhs) Jer 30:10 'Therefore do not fear, O My servant Jacob,' says the Lord, 'Nor be dismayed, O Israel; For behold, I will save you from afar, And your seed from the land of their captivity. Jacob shall return, have rest and be quiet, And no one shall make him afraid.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:11 ============ Jer 30:11 'For I am with you,' declares the Lord, 'to save you; For I will destroy completely all the nations where I have scattered you, Only I will not destroy you completely. But I will chasten you justly And will by no means leave you unpunished.'(nasb) Jer 30:11 καὶ ἔσται ἡ Ιδουμαία εἰς ἄβατον πᾶς ὁ παραπορευόμενος ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν συριεῖ (lxx) Jer 30:11 quoniam tecum ego sum, ait Dominus, ut salvem te. Faciam enim consummationem in cunctis gentibus in quibus dispersi te: te autem non faciam in consummationem: sed castigabo te in judicio, ut non videaris tibi innoxius.(vulgate) Jer 30:11 Denn ich bin bei dir, spricht der HERR, daß ich dir helfe. Denn ich will mit allen Heiden ein Ende machen, dahin ich dich zerstreut habe; aber mit dir will ich nicht ein Ende machen; züchtigen aber will ich dich mit Maßen, daß du dich nicht für unschuldig haltest.(dhs) Jer 30:11 For I am with you,' says the Lord, 'to save you; Though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, Yet I will not make a complete end of you. But I will correct you in justice, And will not let you go altogether unpunished.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:12 ============ Jer 30:12 "For thus says the Lord, 'Your wound is incurable And your injury is serious.(nasb) Jer 30:12 ὥσπερ κατεστράφη Σοδομα καὶ Γομορρα καὶ αἱ πάροικοι αὐτῆς εἶπεν κύριος παντοκράτωρ οὐ μὴ καθίσῃ ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐνοικήσῃ ἐκεῖ υἱὸς ἀνθρώπου (lxx) Jer 30:12 Quia hæc dicit Dominus: Insanabilis fractura tua; pessima plaga tua:(vulgate) Jer 30:12 Denn also spricht der HERR: Dein Schade ist verzweifelt böse, und deine Wunden sind unheilbar.(dhs) Jer 30:12 "For thus says the Lord: 'Your affliction is incurable, Your wound is severe.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:13 ============ Jer 30:13 'There is no one to plead your cause; No healing for your sore, No recovery for you.(nasb) Jer 30:13 ἰδοὺ ὥσπερ λέων ἀναβήσεται ἐκ μέσου τοῦ Ιορδάνου εἰς τόπον Αιθαμ ὅτι ταχὺ ἐκδιώξω αὐτοὺς ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς καὶ τοὺς νεανίσκους ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν ἐπιστήσατε ὅτι τίς ὥσπερ ἐγώ καὶ τίς ἀντιστήσεταί μοι καὶ τίς οὗτος ποιμήν ὃς στήσεται κατὰ πρόσωπόν μου (lxx) Jer 30:13 non est qui judicet judicium tuum ad alligandum: curationum utilitas non est tibi.(vulgate) Jer 30:13 Deine Sache behandelt niemand, daß er dich verbände; es kann dich niemand heilen.(dhs) Jer 30:13 There is no one to plead your cause, That you may be bound up; You have no healing medicines.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:14 ============ Jer 30:14 'All your lovers have forgotten you, They do not seek you; For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, With the punishment of a cruel one, Because your iniquity is great And your sins are numerous.(nasb) Jer 30:14 διὰ τοῦτο ἀκούσατε βουλὴν κυρίου ἣν ἐβουλεύσατο ἐπὶ τὴν Ιδουμαίαν καὶ λογισμὸν αὐτοῦ ὃν ἐλογίσατο ἐπὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας Θαιμαν ἐὰν μὴ συμψησθῶσιν τὰ ἐλάχιστα τῶν προβάτων ἐὰν μὴ ἀβατωθῇ ἐπ᾽ αὐτὴν κατάλυσις αὐτῶν (lxx) Jer 30:14 Omnes amatores tui obliti sunt tui, teque non quærent: plaga enim inimici percussi te castigatione crudeli: propter multitudinem iniquitatis tuæ dura facta sunt peccata tua.(vulgate) Jer 30:14 Alle deine Liebhaber vergessen dein, und fragen nichts darnach. Ich habe dich geschlagen, wie ich einen Feind schlüge, mit unbarmherziger Staupe um deiner großen Missetat und deiner starken Sünden willen.(dhs) Jer 30:14 All your lovers have forgotten you; They do not seek you; For I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, With the chastisement of a cruel one, For the multitude of your iniquities, Because your sins have increased.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:15 ============ Jer 30:15 'Why do you cry out over your injury? Your pain is incurable. Because your iniquity is great And your sins are numerous, I have done these things to you.(nasb) Jer 30:15 ὅτι ἀπὸ φωνῆς πτώσεως αὐτῶν ἐσείσθη ἡ γῆ καὶ κραυγή σου ἐν θαλάσσῃ ἠκούσθη (lxx) Jer 30:15 Quid clamas super contritione tua? insanabilis est dolor tuus: propter multitudinem iniquitatis tuæ, et propter dura peccata tua, feci hæc tibi.(vulgate) Jer 30:15 Was schreist du über deinen Schaden und über dein verzweifelt böses Leiden? Habe ich dir doch solches getan um deiner großen Missetat und um deiner starken Sünden willen.(dhs) Jer 30:15 Why do you cry about your affliction? Your sorrow is incurable. Because of the multitude of your iniquities, Because your sins have increased, I have done these things to you.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:16 ============ Jer 30:16 'Therefore all who devour you will be devoured; And all your adversaries, every one of them, will go into captivity; And those who plunder you will be for plunder, And all who prey upon you I will give for prey.(nasb) Jer 30:16 ἰδοὺ ὥσπερ ἀετὸς ὄψεται καὶ ἐκτενεῖ τὰς πτέρυγας ἐπ᾽ ὀχυρώματα αὐτῆς καὶ ἔσται ἡ καρδία τῶν ἰσχυρῶν τῆς Ιδουμαίας ἐν τῇ ἡμέρᾳ ἐκείνῃ ὡς καρδία γυναικὸς ὠδινούσης (lxx) Jer 30:16 Propterea omnes qui comedunt te devorabuntur, et universi hostes tui in captivitatem ducentur: et qui te vastant vastabuntur, cunctosque prædatores tuos dabo in prædam.(vulgate) Jer 30:16 Darum alle, die dich gefressen haben, sollen gefressen werden, und alle, die dich geängstet haben, sollen alle gefangen werden; die dich beraubt haben sollen beraubt werden, und alle, die dich geplündert haben, sollen geplündert werden.(dhs) Jer 30:16 'Therefore all those who devour you shall be devoured; And all your adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; Those who plunder you shall become plunder, And all who prey upon you I will make a prey.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:17 ============ Jer 30:17 'For I will restore you to health And I will heal you of your wounds,' declares the Lord, 'Because they have called you an outcast, saying: "It is Zion; no one cares for her."'(nasb) Jer 30:17 τοῖς υἱοῖς Αμμων οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος μὴ υἱοὶ οὔκ εἰσιν ἐν Ισραηλ ἢ παραλημψόμενος οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοῖς διὰ τί παρέλαβεν Μελχομ τὸν Γαδ καὶ ὁ λαὸς αὐτῶν ἐν πόλεσιν αὐτῶν ἐνοικήσει (lxx) Jer 30:17 Obducam enim cicatricem tibi, et a vulneribus tuis sanabo te, dicit Dominus. Quia ejectam vocaverunt te, Sion: hæc est, quæ non habebat requirentem.(vulgate) Jer 30:17 Aber dich will ich wieder gesund machen und deine Wunden heilen, spricht der HERR, darum daß man dich nennt die Verstoßene und Zion, nach der niemand frage.(dhs) Jer 30:17 For I will restore health to you And heal you of your wounds,' says the Lord, 'Because they called you an outcast saying: "This is Zion; No one seeks her." '(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:18 ============ Jer 30:18 "Thus says the Lord, 'Behold, I will restore the fortunes of the tents of Jacob And have compassion on his dwelling places; And the city will be rebuilt on its ruin, And the palace will stand on its rightful place.(nasb) Jer 30:18 διὰ τοῦτο ἰδοὺ ἡμέραι ἔρχονται φησὶν κύριος καὶ ἀκουτιῶ ἐπὶ Ραββαθ θόρυβον πολέμων καὶ ἔσονται εἰς ἄβατον καὶ εἰς ἀπώλειαν καὶ βωμοὶ αὐτῆς ἐν πυρὶ κατακαυθήσονται καὶ παραλήμψεται Ισραηλ τὴν ἀρχὴν αὐτοῦ (lxx) Jer 30:18 Hæc dicit Dominus: Ecce ego convertam conversionem tabernaculorum Jacob, et tectis ejus miserebor: et ædificabitur civitas in excelso suo, et templum juxta ordinem suum fundabitur:(vulgate) Jer 30:18 So spricht der HERR: Siehe, ich will das Gefängnis der Hütten Jakobs wenden und mich über seine Wohnungen erbarmen, und die Stadt soll wieder auf ihre Hügel gebaut werden, und der Tempel soll stehen nach seiner Weise.(dhs) Jer 30:18 "Thus says the Lord: 'Behold, I will bring back the captivity of Jacob's tents, And have mercy on his dwelling places; The city shall be built upon its own mound, And the palace shall remain according to its own plan.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:19 ============ Jer 30:19 'From them will proceed thanksgiving And the voice of those who celebrate; And I will multiply them and they will not be diminished; I will also honor them and they will not be insignificant.(nasb) Jer 30:19 ἀλάλαξον Εσεβων ὅτι ὤλετο Γαι κεκράξατε θυγατέρες Ραββαθ περιζώσασθε σάκκους καὶ ἐπιλημπτεύσασθε καὶ κόψασθε ἐπὶ Μελχομ ὅτι ἐν ἀποικίᾳ βαδιεῖται οἱ ἱερεῖς αὐτοῦ καὶ οἱ ἄρχοντες αὐτοῦ ἅμα (lxx) Jer 30:19 et egredietur de eis laus, voxque ludentium. Et multiplicabo eos, et non minuentur: et glorificabo eos, et non attenuabuntur.(vulgate) Jer 30:19 Und soll von dannen herausgehen Lob-und Freudengesang; denn ich will sie mehren und nicht mindern, ich will sie herrlich machen und nicht geringer.(dhs) Jer 30:19 Then out of them shall proceed thanksgiving And the voice of those who make merry; I will multiply them, and they shall not diminish; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:20 ============ Jer 30:20 'Their children also will be as formerly, And their congregation shall be established before Me; And I will punish all their oppressors.(nasb) Jer 30:20 τί ἀγαλλιάσῃ ἐν τοῖς πεδίοις Ενακιμ θύγατερ ἰταμίας ἡ πεποιθυῖα ἐπὶ θησαυροῖς αὐτῆς ἡ λέγουσα τίς εἰσελεύσεται ἐπ᾽ ἐμέ (lxx) Jer 30:20 Et erunt filii ejus sicut a principio, et cœtus ejus coram me permanebit, et visitabo adversum omnes qui tribulant eum.(vulgate) Jer 30:20 Ihre Söhne sollen sein gleichwie vormals und ihre Gemeinde vor mir gedeihen; denn ich will heimsuchen alle, die sie plagen.(dhs) Jer 30:20 Their children also shall be as before, And their congregation shall be established before Me; And I will punish all who oppress them.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:21 ============ Jer 30:21 'Their leader shall be one of them, And their ruler shall come forth from their midst; And I will bring him near and he shall approach Me; For who would dare to risk his life to approach Me?' declares the Lord.(nasb) Jer 30:21 ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ φέρω φόβον ἐπὶ σέ εἶπεν κύριος ἀπὸ πάσης τῆς περιοίκου σου καὶ διασπαρήσεσθε ἕκαστος εἰς πρόσωπον αὐτοῦ καὶ οὐκ ἔσται ὁ συνάγων (lxx) Jer 30:21 Et erit dux ejus ex eo, et princeps de medio ejus producetur: et applicabo eum, et accedet ad me. Quis enim iste est qui applicet cor suum ut appropinquet mihi? ait Dominus:(vulgate) Jer 30:21 Und ihr Fürst soll aus ihnen herkommen und ihr Herrscher von ihnen ausgehen, und er soll zu mir nahen; denn wer ist der, so mit willigem Herzen zu mir naht? spricht der HERR.(dhs) Jer 30:21 Their nobles shall be from among them, And their governor shall come from their midst; Then I will cause him to draw near, And he shall approach Me; For who is this who pledged his heart to approach Me?' says the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 30:22 ============ Jer 30:22 'You shall be My people, And I will be your God.'"(nasb) Jer 30:22 -- (lxx) Jer 30:22 et eritis mihi in populum, et ego ero vobis in Deum.(vulgate) Jer 30:22 Und ihr sollt mein Volk sein, und ich will euer Gott sein.(dhs) Jer 30:22 'You shall be My people, And I will be your God.'
