Today's Date: ======= Jeremiah 44:1 ============ Jer 44:1 The word that came to Jeremiah for all the Jews living in the land of Egypt, those who were living in Migdol, Tahpanhes, Memphis, and the land of Pathros, saying,(nasb) Jer 44:1 καὶ ἐβασίλευσεν Σεδεκιας υἱὸς Ιωσια ἀντὶ Ιωακιμ ὃν ἐβασίλευσεν Ναβουχοδονοσορ βασιλεύειν τοῦ Ιουδα (lxx) Jer 44:1 Verbum quod factum est per Jeremiam ad omnes Judæos qui habitabant in terra Ægypti, habitantes in Magdalo, et in Taphnis, et in Memphis, et in terra Phatures, dicens:(vulgate) Jer 44:1 Dies ist das Wort, das zu Jeremia geschah an alle Juden, so in Ägyptenland wohnten, nämlich so zu Migdol, zu Thachpanhes, zu Noph und im Lande Pathros wohnten, und sprach:(dhs) Jer 44:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews who dwell in the land of Egypt, who dwell at Migdol, at Tahpanhes, at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:2 ============ Jer 44:2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'You yourselves have seen all the calamity that I have brought on Jerusalem and all the cities of Judah; and behold, this day they are in ruins and no one lives in them,(nasb) Jer 44:2 καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσεν αὐτὸς καὶ οἱ παῖδες αὐτοῦ καὶ ὁ λαὸς τῆς γῆς τοὺς λόγους κυρίου οὓς ἐλάλησεν ἐν χειρὶ Ιερεμιου (lxx) Jer 44:2 Hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Vos vidistis omne malum istud quod adduxi super Jerusalem, et super omnes urbes Juda: et ecce desertæ sunt hodie, et non est in eis habitator,(vulgate) Jer 44:2 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ihr habt gesehen all das Übel, das ich habe kommen lassen über Jerusalem und über alle Städte in Juda; und siehe, heutigestages sind sie wüst, und wohnt niemand darin;(dhs) Jer 44:2 "Thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: 'You have seen all the calamity that I have brought on Jerusalem and on all the cities of Judah; and behold, this day they are a desolation, and no one dwells in them,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:3 ============ Jer 44:3 because of their wickedness which they committed so as to provoke Me to anger by continuing to burn sacrifices and to serve other gods whom they had not known, neither they, you, nor your fathers.(nasb) Jer 44:3 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν ὁ βασιλεὺς Σεδεκιας τὸν Ιωαχαλ υἱὸν Σελεμιου καὶ τὸν Σοφονιαν υἱὸν Μαασαιου τὸν ἱερέα πρὸς Ιερεμιαν λέγων πρόσευξαι δὴ περὶ ἡμῶν πρὸς κύριον (lxx) Jer 44:3 propter malitiam quam fecerunt ut me ad iracundiam provocarent, et irent ut sacrificarent, et colerent deos alienos quos nesciebant, et illi, et vos, et patres vestri.(vulgate) Jer 44:3 und das um ihrer Bosheit willen, die sie taten, daß sie mich erzürnten und hingingen und räucherten und dienten andern Göttern, welche weder sie noch ihr noch eure Väter kannten.(dhs) Jer 44:3 because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke Me to anger, in that they went to burn incense and to serve other gods whom they did not know, they nor you nor your fathers.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:4 ============ Jer 44:4 Yet I sent you all My servants the prophets, again and again, saying, "Oh, do not do this abominable thing which I hate."(nasb) Jer 44:4 καὶ Ιερεμιας ἦλθεν καὶ διῆλθεν διὰ μέσου τῆς πόλεως καὶ οὐκ ἔδωκαν αὐτὸν εἰς οἶκον τῆς φυλακῆς (lxx) Jer 44:4 Et misi ad vos omnes servos meos prophetas, de nocte consurgens, mittensque et dicens: Nolite facere verbum abominationis hujuscemodi, quam odivi.(vulgate) Jer 44:4 Und ich sandte stets zu euch alle meine Knechte, die Propheten, und ließ euch sagen: Tut doch nicht solche Greuel, die ich hasse.(dhs) Jer 44:4 However I have sent to you all My servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, "Oh, do not do this abominable thing that I hate!"(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:5 ============ Jer 44:5 But they did not listen or incline their ears to turn from their wickedness, so as not to burn sacrifices to other gods.(nasb) Jer 44:5 καὶ δύναμις Φαραω ἐξῆλθεν ἐξ Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἤκουσαν οἱ Χαλδαῖοι τὴν ἀκοὴν αὐτῶν καὶ ἀνέβησαν ἀπὸ Ιερουσαλημ (lxx) Jer 44:5 Et non audierunt, nec inclinaverunt aurem suam, ut converterentur a malis suis, et non sacrificarent diis alienis.(vulgate) Jer 44:5 Aber sie gehorchten nicht, neigten auch ihre Ohren nicht, daß sie von ihrer Bosheit sich bekehrt und andern Göttern nicht geräuchert hätten.(dhs) Jer 44:5 But they did not listen or incline their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense to other gods.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:6 ============ Jer 44:6 Therefore My wrath and My anger were poured out and burned in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem, so they have become a ruin and a desolation as it is this day.(nasb) Jer 44:6 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ιερεμιαν λέγων (lxx) Jer 44:6 Et conflata est indignatio mea et furor meus, et succensa est in civitatibus Juda, et in plateis Jerusalem: et versæ sunt in solitudinem et vastitatem secundum diem hanc.(vulgate) Jer 44:6 Darum ging auch mein Zorn und Grimm an und entbrannte über die Städte Juda's und über die Gassen zu Jerusalem, daß sie zur Wüste und Öde geworden sind, wie es heutigestages steht.(dhs) Jer 44:6 So My fury and My anger were poured out and kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as it is this day.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:7 ============ Jer 44:7 Now then thus says the Lord God of hosts, the God of Israel, "Why are you doing great harm to yourselves, so as to cut off from you man and woman, child and infant, from among Judah, leaving yourselves without remnant,(nasb) Jer 44:7 οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος οὕτως ἐρεῖς πρὸς βασιλέα Ιουδα τὸν ἀποστείλαντα πρὸς σὲ τοῦ ἐκζητῆσαί με ἰδοὺ δύναμις Φαραω ἡ ἐξελθοῦσα ὑμῖν εἰς βοήθειαν ἀποστρέψουσιν εἰς γῆν Αἰγύπτου (lxx) Jer 44:7 Et nunc hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Quare vos facitis malum grande hoc contra animas vestras, ut intereat ex vobis vir et mulier, parvulus et lactens, de medio Judæ, nec relinquatur vobis quidquam residuum:(vulgate) Jer 44:7 Nun, so spricht der HERR, der Gott Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Warum tut ihr doch so großes Übel wider euer eigen Leben, damit unter euch ausgerottet werden Mann und Weib, Kind und Säugling aus Juda und nichts von euch übrigbleibe,(dhs) Jer 44:7 Now therefore, thus says the Lord, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: 'Why do you commit this great evil against yourselves, to cut off from you man and woman, child and infant, out of Judah, leaving none to remain,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:8 ============ Jer 44:8 provoking Me to anger with the works of your hands, burning sacrifices to other gods in the land of Egypt, where you are entering to reside, so that you might be cut off and become a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?(nasb) Jer 44:8 καὶ ἀναστρέψουσιν αὐτοὶ οἱ Χαλδαῖοι καὶ πολεμήσουσιν ἐπὶ τὴν πόλιν ταύτην καὶ συλλήμψονται αὐτὴν καὶ καύσουσιν αὐτὴν ἐν πυρί (lxx) Jer 44:8 provocantes me in operibus manuum vestrarum, sacrificando diis alienis in terra Ægypti, in quam ingressi estis ut habitetis ibi: et dispereatis, et sitis in maledictionem et in opprobrium cunctis gentibus terræ?(vulgate) Jer 44:8 und erzürnt mich so durch eurer Hände Werke und räuchert andern Göttern in Ägyptenland, dahin ihr gezogen seid, daselbst zu herbergen, auf daß ihr ausgerottet und zum Fluch und zur Schmach werdet unter allen Heiden auf Erden?(dhs) Jer 44:8 in that you provoke Me to wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense to other gods in the land of Egypt where you have gone to dwell, that you may cut yourselves off and be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:9 ============ Jer 44:9 Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?(nasb) Jer 44:9 ὅτι οὕτως εἶπεν κύριος μὴ ὑπολάβητε ταῖς ψυχαῖς ὑμῶν λέγοντες ἀποτρέχοντες ἀπελεύσονται ἀφ᾽ ἡμῶν οἱ Χαλδαῖοι ὅτι οὐ μὴ ἀπέλθωσιν (lxx) Jer 44:9 Numquid obliti estis mala patrum vestrorum, et mala regum Juda, et mala uxorum ejus, et mala vestra, et mala uxorum vestrarum, quæ fecerunt in terra Juda, et in regionibus Jerusalem?(vulgate) Jer 44:9 Habt ihr vergessen das Unglück eurer Väter, das Unglück der Könige Juda's, das Unglück ihrer Weiber, dazu euer eigenes Unglück und eurer Weiber Unglück, das euch begegnet ist im Lande Juda und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem?(dhs) Jer 44:9 Have you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, the wickedness of the kings of Judah, the wickedness of their wives, your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they committed in the land of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem?(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:10 ============ Jer 44:10 But they have not become contrite even to this day, nor have they feared nor walked in My law or My statutes, which I have set before you and before your fathers."'(nasb) Jer 44:10 καὶ ἐὰν πατάξητε πᾶσαν δύναμιν τῶν Χαλδαίων τοὺς πολεμοῦντας ὑμᾶς καὶ καταλειφθῶσίν τινες ἐκκεκεντημένοι ἕκαστος ἐν τῷ τόπῳ αὐτοῦ οὗτοι ἀναστήσονται καὶ καύσουσιν τὴν πόλιν ταύτην ἐν πυρί (lxx) Jer 44:10 Non sunt mundati usque ad diem hanc: et non timuerunt, et non ambulaverunt in lege Domini, et in præceptis meis quæ dedi coram vobis et coram patribus vestris.(vulgate) Jer 44:10 Noch sind sie bis auf diesen Tag nicht gedemütigt, fürchten sich auch nicht und wandeln nicht in meinem Gesetz und den Rechten, die ich euch und euren Vätern vorgestellt habe.(dhs) Jer 44:10 They have not been humbled, to this day, nor have they feared; they have not walked in My law or in My statutes that I set before you and your fathers.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:11 ============ Jer 44:11 "Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel, 'Behold, I am going to set My face against you for woe, even to cut off all Judah.(nasb) Jer 44:11 καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἀνέβη ἡ δύναμις τῶν Χαλδαίων ἀπὸ Ιερουσαλημ ἀπὸ προσώπου τῆς δυνάμεως Φαραω (lxx) Jer 44:11 Ideo hæc dicit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël: Ecce ego ponam faciem meam in vobis in malum: et disperdam omnem Judam.(vulgate) Jer 44:11 Darum spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels, also: Siehe, ich will mein Angesicht wider euch richten zum Unglück, und ganz Juda soll ausgerottet werden.(dhs) Jer 44:11 "Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel: 'Behold, I will set My face against you for catastrophe and for cutting off all Judah.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:12 ============ Jer 44:12 And I will take away the remnant of Judah who have set their mind on entering the land of Egypt to reside there, and they will all meet their end in the land of Egypt; they will fall by the sword and meet their end by famine. Both small and great will die by the sword and famine; and they will become a curse, an object of horror, an imprecation and a reproach.(nasb) Jer 44:12 ἐξῆλθεν Ιερεμιας ἀπὸ Ιερουσαλημ τοῦ πορευθῆναι εἰς γῆν Βενιαμιν τοῦ ἀγοράσαι ἐκεῖθεν ἐν μέσῳ τοῦ λαοῦ (lxx) Jer 44:12 Et assumam reliquias Judæ, qui posuerunt facies suas ut ingrederentur terram Ægypti, et habitarent ibi, et consumentur omnes in terra Ægypti: cadent in gladio, et in fame, et consumentur a minimo usque ad maximum: in gladio et in fame morientur, et erunt in jusjurandum, et in miraculum, et in maledictionem, et in opprobrium.(vulgate) Jer 44:12 Und ich will die übrigen aus Juda nehmen, so ihr Angesicht gerichtet haben, nach Ägyptenland zu ziehen, daß sie daselbst herbergen; es soll ein Ende mit ihnen allen werden in Ägyptenland. Durchs Schwert sollen sie fallen, und durch Hunger umkommen, beide, klein und groß; sie sollen durch Schwert und Hunger sterben und sollen ein Schwur, Wunder, Fluch und Schmach werden.(dhs) Jer 44:12 And I will take the remnant of Judah who have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to dwell there, and they shall all be consumed and fall in the land of Egypt. They shall be consumed by the sword and by famine. They shall die, from the least to the greatest, by the sword and by famine; and they shall be an oath, an astonishment, a curse and a reproach!(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:13 ============ Jer 44:13 And I will punish those who live in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, with the sword, with famine and with pestilence.(nasb) Jer 44:13 καὶ ἐγένετο αὐτὸς ἐν πύλῃ Βενιαμιν καὶ ἐκεῖ ἄνθρωπος παρ᾽ ᾧ κατέλυεν Σαρουιας υἱὸς Σελεμιου υἱοῦ Ανανιου καὶ συνέλαβεν τὸν Ιερεμιαν λέγων πρὸς τοὺς Χαλδαίους σὺ φεύγεις (lxx) Jer 44:13 Et visitabo super habitatores terræ Ægypti sicut visitavi super Jerusalem, in gladio, et fame, et peste:(vulgate) Jer 44:13 Ich will auch die Einwohner in Ägyptenland mit Schwert, Hunger und Pestilenz heimsuchen, gleichwie ich zu Jerusalem getan habe,(dhs) Jer 44:13 For I will punish those who dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence,(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:14 ============ Jer 44:14 So there will be no refugees or survivors for the remnant of Judah who have entered the land of Egypt to reside there and then to return to the land of Judah, to which they are longing to return and live; for none will return except a few refugees.'"(nasb) Jer 44:14 καὶ εἶπεν ψεῦδος οὐκ εἰς τοὺς Χαλδαίους ἐγὼ φεύγω καὶ οὐκ ἤκουσεν αὐτοῦ καὶ συνέλαβεν Σαρουιας τὸν Ιερεμιαν καὶ εἰσήγαγεν αὐτὸν πρὸς τοὺς ἄρχοντας (lxx) Jer 44:14 et non erit qui effugiat, et sit residuus de reliquiis Judæorum qui vadunt ut peregrinentur in terra Ægypti, et revertantur in terram Juda, ad quam ipsi elevant animas suas ut revertantur, et habitent ibi: non revertentur, nisi qui fugerint.~(vulgate) Jer 44:14 daß aus den übrigen Juda's keiner soll entrinnen noch übrigbleiben, die doch darum hierher gekommen sind nach Ägyptenland zur Herberge, daß sie wiederum ins Land Juda möchten, dahin sie gerne wiederkommen wollten und wohnen; aber es soll keiner wieder dahin kommen, außer, welche von hinnen fliehen.(dhs) Jer 44:14 so that none of the remnant of Judah who have gone into the land of Egypt to dwell there shall escape or survive, lest they return to the land of Judah, to which they desire to return and dwell. For none shall return except those who escape.' "(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:15 ============ Jer 44:15 Then all the men who were aware that their wives were burning sacrifices to other gods, along with all the women who were standing by, as a large assembly, including all the people who were living in Pathros in the land of Egypt, responded to Jeremiah, saying,(nasb) Jer 44:15 καὶ ἐπικράνθησαν οἱ ἄρχοντες ἐπὶ Ιερεμιαν καὶ ἐπάταξαν αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέστειλαν αὐτὸν εἰς τὴν οἰκίαν Ιωναθαν τοῦ γραμματέως ὅτι ταύτην ἐποίησαν εἰς οἰκίαν φυλακῆς (lxx) Jer 44:15 Responderunt autem Jeremiæ omnes viri scientes quod sacrificarent uxores eorum diis alienis, et universæ mulieres quarum stabat multitudo grandis, et omnis populus habitantium in terra Ægypti in Phatures, dicentes:(vulgate) Jer 44:15 Da antworteten dem Jeremia alle Männer, die da wohl wußten, daß ihre Weiber andern Göttern räucherten, und alle Weiber, so in großem Haufen dastanden, samt allem Volk, die in Ägyptenland wohnten und in Pathros, und sprachen:(dhs) Jer 44:15 Then all the men who knew that their wives had burned incense to other gods, with all the women who stood by, a great multitude, and all the people who dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying:(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:16 ============ Jer 44:16 "As for the message that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we are not going to listen to you!(nasb) Jer 44:16 καὶ ἦλθεν Ιερεμιας εἰς οἰκίαν τοῦ λάκκου καὶ εἰς τὴν χερεθ καὶ ἐκάθισεν ἐκεῖ ἡμέρας πολλάς (lxx) Jer 44:16 Sermonem quem locutus es ad nos in nomine Domini, non audiemus ex te:(vulgate) Jer 44:16 Nach dem Wort, das du im Namen des HERRN uns sagst, wollen wir dir nicht gehorchen;(dhs) Jer 44:16 "As for the word that you have spoken to us in the name of the Lord, we will not listen to you!(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:17 ============ Jer 44:17 But rather we will certainly carry out every word that has proceeded from our mouths, by burning sacrifices to the queen of heaven and pouring out drink offerings to her, just as we ourselves, our forefathers, our kings and our princes did in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; for then we had plenty of food and were well off and saw no misfortune.(nasb) Jer 44:17 καὶ ἀπέστειλεν Σεδεκιας καὶ ἐκάλεσεν αὐτόν καὶ ἠρώτα αὐτὸν ὁ βασιλεὺς κρυφαίως εἰπεῖν εἰ ἔστιν λόγος παρὰ κυρίου καὶ εἶπεν ἔστιν εἰς χεῖρας βασιλέως Βαβυλῶνος παραδοθήσῃ (lxx) Jer 44:17 sed facientes faciemus omne verbum quod egredietur de ore nostro, ut sacrificemus reginæ cæli, et libemus ei libamina, sicut fecimus nos et patres nostri, reges nostri et principes nostri, in urbibus Juda, et in plateis Jerusalem: et saturati sumus panibus, et bene nobis erat, malumque non vidimus.(vulgate) Jer 44:17 sondern wir wollen tun nach allem dem Wort, das aus unserem Munde geht, und wollen der Himmelskönigin räuchern und ihr Trankopfer opfern, wie wir und unsre Väter, unsre Könige und Fürsten getan haben in den Städten Juda's und auf den Gassen zu Jerusalem. Da hatten wir auch Brot genug und ging uns wohl und sahen kein Unglück.(dhs) Jer 44:17 But we will certainly do whatever has gone out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the queen of heaven and pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our kings and our princes, in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem. Go ahead and confirm your vows, and certainly perform your vows!'(nasb) Jer 44:25 -- (lxx) Jer 44:25 Hæc inquit Dominus exercituum, Deus Israël, dicens: Vos et uxores vestræ locuti estis ore vestro, et manibus vestris implestis, dicentes: Faciamus vota nostra quæ vovimus, ut sacrificemus reginæ cæli, et libemus ei libamina. Implestis vota vestra, et opere perpetrastis ea.(vulgate) Jer 44:25 So spricht der HERR Zebaoth, der Gott Israels: Ihr und eure Weiber habt mit einem Munde geredet und mit euren Händen vollbracht, was ihr sagt: Wir wollen unser Gelübde halten, die wir gelobt haben der Himmelskönigin, daß wir ihr räuchern und Trankopfer opfern. Then all the remnant of Judah who have gone to the land of Egypt to reside there will know whose word will stand, Mine or theirs.(nasb) Jer 44:28 -- (lxx) Jer 44:28 Et qui fugerint gladium, revertentur de terra Ægypti in terram Juda viri pauci: et scient omnes reliquiæ Juda, ingredientium terram Ægypti ut habitent ibi, cujus sermo compleatur, meus an illorum.(vulgate) Jer 44:28 Welche aber dem Schwert entrinnen, die werden aus Ägyptenland ins Land Juda wiederkommen müssen als ein geringer Haufe. Und also werden dann alle die übrigen aus Juda, so nach Ägyptenland gezogen waren, daß sie sich daselbst herbergten, erfahren, wessen Wort wahr sei, meines oder ihres.(dhs) Jer 44:28 Yet a small number who escape the sword shall return from the land of Egypt to the land of Judah; and all the remnant of Judah, who have gone to the land of Egypt to dwell there, shall know whose words will stand, Mine or theirs.(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:29 ============ Jer 44:29 This will be the sign to you,' declares the Lord, 'that I am going to punish you in this place, so that you may know that My words will surely stand against you for harm.'(nasb) Jer 44:29 -- (lxx) Jer 44:29 Et hoc vobis signum, ait Dominus, quod visitem ego super vos in loco isto, ut sciatis quia vere complebuntur sermones mei contra vos in malum:(vulgate) Jer 44:29 Und zum Zeichen, spricht der HERR, daß ich euch an diesem Ort heimsuchen will, damit ihr wißt, daß mein Wort soll wahr werden über euch zum Unglück,(dhs) Jer 44:29 And this shall be a sign to you,' says the Lord, 'that I will punish you in this place, that you may know that My words will surely stand against you for adversity.'(nkjv) ======= Jeremiah 44:30 ============ Jer 44:30 Thus says the Lord, 'Behold, I am going to give over Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt to the hand of his enemies, to the hand of those who seek his life, just as I gave over Zedekiah king of Judah to the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, who was his enemy and was seeking his life.'"(nasb) Jer 44:30 -- (lxx) Jer 44:30 hæc dicit Dominus: Ecce ego tradam Pharaonem Ephree regem Ægypti in manu inimicorum ejus, et in manu quærentium animam illius, sicut tradidi Sedeciam regem Juda in manu Nabuchodonosor regis Babylonis inimici sui, et quærentis animam ejus.(vulgate) Jer 44:30 so spricht der HERR also: Siehe, ich will Pharao Hophra, den König in Ägypten, übergeben in die Hände seiner Feinde und derer, die ihm nach dem Leben stehen, gleichwie ich Zedekia, den König Juda's, übergeben habe in die Hand Nebukadnezars, des Königs zu Babel, seines Feindes, und der ihm nach seinem Leben stand.(dhs) Jer 44:30 Thus says the Lord: 'Behold, I will give Pharaoh Hophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies and into the hand of those who seek his life, as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, his enemy who sought his life.'
