Today's Date: ======= Micah 6:1 ============ Mic 6:1 Hear now what the Lord is saying, "Arise, plead your case before the mountains, And let the hills hear your voice.(nasb) Mic 6:1 ἀκούσατε δὴ λόγον κυρίου κύριος εἶπεν ἀνάστηθι κρίθητι πρὸς τὰ ὄρη καὶ ἀκουσάτωσαν οἱ βουνοὶ φωνήν σου (lxx) Mic 6:1 [Audite quæ Dominus loquitur: Surge, contende judicio adversum montes, et audiant colles vocem tuam.(vulgate) Mic 6:1 Höret doch, was der HERR sagt: Mache dich auf und rechte vor den Bergen und laß die Hügel deine Stimme hören!(dhs) Mic 6:1 Hear now what the Lord says: "Arise, plead your case before the mountains, And let the hills hear your voice.(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:2 ============ Mic 6:2 "Listen, you mountains, to the indictment of the Lord, And you enduring foundations of the earth, Because the Lord has a case against His people; Even with Israel He will dispute.(nasb) Mic 6:2 ἀκούσατε βουνοί τὴν κρίσιν τοῦ κυρίου καὶ αἱ φάραγγες θεμέλια τῆς γῆς ὅτι κρίσις τῷ κυρίῳ πρὸς τὸν λαὸν αὐτοῦ καὶ μετὰ τοῦ Ισραηλ διελεγχθήσεται (lxx) Mic 6:2 Audiant montes judicium Domini, et fortia fundamenta terræ; quia judicium Domini cum populo suo, et cum Israël dijudicabitur.(vulgate) Mic 6:2 Höret, ihr Berge, wie der HERR rechten will, und ihr starken Grundfesten der Erde; denn der HERR will mit seinem Volk rechten und will Israel strafen.(dhs) Mic 6:2 Hear, O you mountains, the Lord's complaint, And you strong foundations of the earth; For the Lord has a complaint against His people, And He will contend with Israel.(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:3 ============ Mic 6:3 "My people, what have I done to you, And how have I wearied you? Answer Me.(nasb) Mic 6:3 λαός μου τί ἐποίησά σοι ἢ τί ἐλύπησά σε ἢ τί παρηνώχλησά σοι ἀποκρίθητί μοι (lxx) Mic 6:3 Popule meus, quid feci tibi? aut quid molestus fui tibi? Responde mihi.(vulgate) Mic 6:3 Was habe ich dir getan, mein Volk, und womit habe ich dich beleidigt? Das sage mir!(dhs) Mic 6:3 "O My people, what have I done to you? And how have I wearied you? Testify against Me.(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:4 ============ Mic 6:4 "Indeed, I brought you up from the land of Egypt And ransomed you from the house of slavery, And I sent before you Moses, Aaron and Miriam.(nasb) Mic 6:4 διότι ἀνήγαγόν σε ἐκ γῆς Αἰγύπτου καὶ ἐξ οἴκου δουλείας ἐλυτρωσάμην σε καὶ ἐξαπέστειλα πρὸ προσώπου σου τὸν Μωυσῆν καὶ Ααρων καὶ Μαριαμ (lxx) Mic 6:4 Quia eduxi te de terra Ægypti, et de domo servientium liberavi te, et misi ante faciem tuam Moysen, et Aaron, et Mariam.(vulgate) Mic 6:4 Habe ich dich doch aus Ägyptenland geführt und aus dem Diensthause erlöst und vor dir her gesandt Mose, Aaron und Mirjam.(dhs) Mic 6:4 For I brought you up from the land of Egypt, I redeemed you from the house of bondage; And I sent before you Moses, Aaron, and Miriam.(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:5 ============ Mic 6:5 "My people, remember now What Balak king of Moab counseled And what Balaam son of Beor answered him, And from Shittim to Gilgal, So that you might know the righteous acts of the Lord."(nasb) Mic 6:5 λαός μου μνήσθητι δὴ τί ἐβουλεύσατο κατὰ σοῦ Βαλακ βασιλεὺς Μωαβ καὶ τί ἀπεκρίθη αὐτῷ Βαλααμ υἱὸς τοῦ Βεωρ ἀπὸ τῶν σχοίνων ἕως τοῦ Γαλγαλ ὅπως γνωσθῇ ἡ δικαιοσύνη τοῦ κυρίου (lxx) Mic 6:5 Popule meus, memento, quæso, quid cogitaverit Balach, rex Moab, et quid responderit ei Balaam, filius Beor, de Setim usque ad Galgalam, ut cognosceres justitias Domini.(vulgate) Mic 6:5 Mein Volk, denke doch daran, was Balak, der König in Moab, vorhatte und was ihm Bileam, der Sohn Beors, antwortete, von Sittim an bis gen Gilgal; daran ihr ja merken solltet, wie der HERR euch alles Gute getan hat.(dhs) Mic 6:5 O My people, remember now What Balak king of Moab counseled, And what Balaam the son of Beor answered him, From Acacia Grove to Gilgal, That you may know the righteousness of the Lord."(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:6 ============ Mic 6:6 With what shall I come to the Lord And bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings, With yearling calves?(nasb) Mic 6:6 ἐν τίνι καταλάβω τὸν κύριον ἀντιλήμψομαι θεοῦ μου ὑψίστου εἰ καταλήμψομαι αὐτὸν ἐν ὁλοκαυτώμασιν ἐν μόσχοις ἐνιαυσίοις (lxx) Mic 6:6 Quid dignum offeram Domino? curvabo genu Deo excelso? Numquid offeram ei holocautomata et vitulos anniculos?(vulgate) Mic 6:6 Womit soll ich den HERRN versöhnen, mich bücken vor dem hohen Gott? Soll ich mit Brandopfern und jährigen Kälbern ihn versöhnen?(dhs) Mic 6:6 With what shall I come before the Lord, And bow myself before the High God? Shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, With calves a year old?(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:7 ============ Mic 6:7 Does the Lord take delight in thousands of rams, In ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my rebellious acts, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?(nasb) Mic 6:7 εἰ προσδέξεται κύριος ἐν χιλιάσιν κριῶν ἢ ἐν μυριάσιν χειμάρρων πιόνων εἰ δῶ πρωτότοκά μου ἀσεβείας καρπὸν κοιλίας μου ὑπὲρ ἁμαρτίας ψυχῆς μου (lxx) Mic 6:7 numquid placari potest Dominus in millibus arietum, aut in multis millibus hircorum pinguium? numquid dabo primogenitum meum pro scelere meo, fructum ventris mei pro peccato animæ meæ?(vulgate) Mic 6:7 Wird wohl der HERR Gefallen haben an viel tausend Widdern, an unzähligen Strömen Öl? Oder soll ich meinen ersten Sohn für meine Übertretung geben, meines Leibes Frucht für die Sünde meiner Seele?(dhs) Mic 6:7 Will the Lord be pleased with thousands of rams, Ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I give my firstborn for my transgression, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:8 ============ Mic 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your God?(nasb) Mic 6:8 εἰ ἀνηγγέλη σοι ἄνθρωπε τί καλόν ἢ τί κύριος ἐκζητεῖ παρὰ σοῦ ἀλλ᾽ ἢ τοῦ ποιεῖν κρίμα καὶ ἀγαπᾶν ἔλεον καὶ ἕτοιμον εἶναι τοῦ πορεύεσθαι μετὰ κυρίου θεοῦ σου (lxx) Mic 6:8 Indicabo tibi, o homo, quid sit bonum, et quid Dominus requirat a te: utique facere judicium, et diligere misericordiam, et sollicitum ambulare cum Deo tuo.(vulgate) Mic 6:8 Es ist dir gesagt, Mensch, was gut ist und was der HERR von dir fordert, nämlich Gottes Wort halten und Liebe üben und demütig sein vor deinem Gott.(dhs) Mic 6:8 He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:9 ============ Mic 6:9 The voice of the Lord will call to the city-- And it is sound wisdom to fear Your name: "Hear, O tribe. Who has appointed its time?(nasb) Mic 6:9 φωνὴ κυρίου τῇ πόλει ἐπικληθήσεται καὶ σώσει φοβουμένους τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἄκουε φυλή καὶ τίς κοσμήσει πόλιν (lxx) Mic 6:9 Vox Domini ad civitatem clamat, et salus erit timentibus nomen tuum: audite, tribus, et quis approbabit illud?(vulgate) Mic 6:9 Es wird des HERRN Stimme über die Stadt rufen; aber wer deinen Namen fürchtet, dem wird's gelingen. Höret, ihr Stämme, was gepredigt wird!(dhs) Mic 6:9 The Lord's voice cries to the city-- Wisdom shall see Your name: "Hear the Rod! Who has appointed it?(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:10 ============ Mic 6:10 "Is there yet a man in the wicked house, Along with treasures of wickedness And a short measure that is cursed?(nasb) Mic 6:10 μὴ πῦρ καὶ οἶκος ἀνόμου θησαυρίζων θησαυροὺς ἀνόμους καὶ μετὰ ὕβρεως ἀδικία (lxx) Mic 6:10 Adhuc ignis in domo impii thesauri iniquitatis, et mensura minor iræ plena.(vulgate) Mic 6:10 Noch bleibt Unrecht Gut in des Gottlosen Hause und das heillose geringe Maß.(dhs) Mic 6:10 Are there yet the treasures of wickedness In the house of the wicked, And the short measure that is an abomination?(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:11 ============ Mic 6:11 "Can I justify wicked scales And a bag of deceptive weights?(nasb) Mic 6:11 εἰ δικαιωθήσεται ἐν ζυγῷ ἄνομος καὶ ἐν μαρσίππῳ στάθμια δόλου (lxx) Mic 6:11 Numquid justificabo stateram impiam, et saccelli pondera dolosa?(vulgate) Mic 6:11 Oder sollte ich die unrechte Waage und falsche Gewichte im Beutel billigen,(dhs) Mic 6:11 Shall I count pure those with the wicked scales, And with the bag of deceitful weights?(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:12 ============ Mic 6:12 "For the rich men of the city are full of violence, Her residents speak lies, And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.(nasb) Mic 6:12 ἐξ ὧν τὸν πλοῦτον αὐτῶν ἀσεβείας ἔπλησαν καὶ οἱ κατοικοῦντες αὐτὴν ἐλάλουν ψευδῆ καὶ ἡ γλῶσσα αὐτῶν ὑψώθη ἐν τῷ στόματι αὐτῶν (lxx) Mic 6:12 In quibus divites ejus repleti sunt iniquitate, et habitantes in ea loquebantur mendacium, et lingua eorum fraudulenta in ore eorum.(vulgate) Mic 6:12 durch welche ihre Reichen viel Unrecht tun? Und ihre Einwohner gehen mit Lügen um und haben falsche Zungen in ihrem Halse.(dhs) Mic 6:12 For her rich men are full of violence, Her inhabitants have spoken lies, And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:13 ============ Mic 6:13 "So also I will make you sick, striking you down, Desolating you because of your sins.(nasb) Mic 6:13 καὶ ἐγὼ ἄρξομαι τοῦ πατάξαι σε ἀφανιῶ σε ἐπὶ ταῖς ἁμαρτίαις σου (lxx) Mic 6:13 Et ego ergo cœpi percutere te perditione super peccatis tuis.(vulgate) Mic 6:13 Darum will ich dich auch übel plagen und dich um deiner Sünden willen wüst machen.(dhs) Mic 6:13 "Therefore I will also make you sick by striking you, By making you desolate because of your sins.(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:14 ============ Mic 6:14 "You will eat, but you will not be satisfied, And your vileness will be in your midst. You will try to remove for safekeeping, But you will not preserve anything, And what you do preserve I will give to the sword.(nasb) Mic 6:14 σὺ φάγεσαι καὶ οὐ μὴ ἐμπλησθῇς καὶ σκοτάσει ἐν σοὶ καὶ ἐκνεύσει καὶ οὐ μὴ διασωθῇς καὶ ὅσοι ἐὰν διασωθῶσιν εἰς ῥομφαίαν παραδοθήσονται (lxx) Mic 6:14 Tu comedes, et non saturaberis, et humiliatio tua in medio tui: et apprehendes, et non salvabis, et quos salvaveris, in gladium dabo.(vulgate) Mic 6:14 Du sollst nicht genug zu essen haben und sollst verschmachten. Und was du beiseite schaffst, soll doch nicht davonkommen; und was davonkommt, will ich doch dem Schwert überantworten.(dhs) Mic 6:14 You shall eat, but not be satisfied; Hunger shall be in your midst. You will tread the olive but will not anoint yourself with oil; And the grapes, but you will not drink wine.(nasb) Mic 6:15 σὺ σπερεῖς καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀμήσῃς σὺ πιέσεις ἐλαίαν καὶ οὐ μὴ ἀλείψῃ ἔλαιον καὶ οἶνον καὶ οὐ μὴ πίητε καὶ ἀφανισθήσεται νόμιμα λαοῦ μου (lxx) Mic 6:15 Tu seminabis, et non metes: tu calcabis olivam, et non ungeris oleo; et mustum, et non bibes vinum.(vulgate) Mic 6:15 Du sollst säen, und nicht ernten; du sollst Öl keltern, und dich damit nicht salben, und Most keltern, und nicht Wein trinken.(dhs) Mic 6:15 "You shall sow, but not reap; You shall tread the olives, but not anoint yourselves with oil; And make sweet wine, but not drink wine.(nkjv) ======= Micah 6:16 ============ Mic 6:16 "The statutes of Omri And all the works of the house of Ahab are observed; And in their devices you walk. Therefore I will give you up for destruction And your inhabitants for derision, And you will bear the reproach of My people."(nasb) Mic 6:16 καὶ ἐφύλαξας τὰ δικαιώματα Ζαμβρι καὶ πάντα τὰ ἔργα οἴκου Αχααβ καὶ ἐπορεύθητε ἐν ταῖς βουλαῖς αὐτῶν ὅπως παραδῶ σε εἰς ἀφανισμὸν καὶ τοὺς κατοικοῦντας αὐτὴν εἰς συρισμόν καὶ ὀνείδη λαῶν λήμψεσθε (lxx) Mic 6:16 Et custodisti præcepta Amri, et omne opus domus Achab, et ambulasti in voluntatibus eorum: ut darem te in perditionem, et habitantes in ea in sibilum, et opprobrium populi mei portabitis.](vulgate) Mic 6:16 Denn man hält die Weise Omris und alle Werke des Hauses Ahab und folgt ihrem Rat.
