Today's Date: ======= Numbers 36:1 ============ Num 36:1 And the heads of the fathers' households of the family of the sons of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before the leaders, the heads of the fathers' households of the sons of Israel,(nasb) Num 36:1 Accesserunt autem et principes familiarum Galaad filii Machir filii Manasse, de stirpe filiorum Joseph: locutique sunt Moysi coram principibus Israël, atque dixerunt:(vulgate) Números 36:1 Y llegaron los príncipes de los padres de la familia de Galaad, hijo de Maquir, hijo de Manasés, de las familias de los hijos de José; y hablaron delante de Moisés, y de los príncipes, cabezas de padres de los hijos de Israel,(E) Nombres 36:1 Les chefs de la famille de Galaad, fils de Makir, fils de Manassé, d'entre les familles des fils de Joseph, s'approchèrent et parlèrent devant Moïse et devant les princes, chefs de famille des enfants d'Israël.(F) Num 36:1 Und die obersten Väter des Geschlechts der Kinder Gileads, des Sohnes Machirs, der Manasses Sohn war, von den Geschlechtern der Kinder Joseph, traten herzu und redeten vor Mose und vor den Fürsten, den obersten Vätern der Kinder Israel,(D) Num 36:1 καὶ προσῆλθον οἱ ἄρχοντες φυλῆς υἱῶν Γαλααδ υἱοῦ Μαχιρ υἱοῦ Μανασση ἐκ τῆς φυλῆς υἱῶν Ιωσηφ καὶ ἐλάλησαν ἔναντι Μωυσῆ καὶ ἔναντι Ελεαζαρ τοῦ ἱερέως καὶ ἔναντι τῶν ἀρχόντων οἴκων πατριῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ(lxx) Num 36:1 Now the chief fathers of the families of the children of Gilead the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near and spoke before Moses and before the leaders, the chief fathers of the children of Israel.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:2 ============ Num 36:2 and they said, "The Lord commanded my lord to give the land by lot to the sons of Israel as an inheritance, and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.(nasb) Num 36:2 Tibi domino nostro præcepit Dominus ut terram sorte divideres filiis Israël, et ut filiabus Salphaad fratris nostri dares possessionem debitam patri:(vulgate) Números 36:2 y dijeron: Jehová mandó a mi señor que por suerte diese la tierra a los hijos de Israel en posesión: también ha mandado Jehová a mi señor, que dé la posesión de Zelofehad nuestro hermano a sus hijas;(E) Nombres 36:2 Ils dirent: L'Eternel a ordonné à mon seigneur de donner le pays en héritage par le sort aux enfants d'Israël. Mon seigneur a aussi reçu de l'Eternel l'ordre de donner l'héritage de Tselophchad, notre frère, à ses filles.(F) Num 36:2 und sprachen: Meinem Herrn hat der HERR geboten, daß man das Land zum Erbteil geben sollte durchs Los den Kindern Israel; auch ward meinem Herrn geboten von dem HERRN, daß man das Erbteil Zelophehads, unsers Bruders, seinen Töchtern geben soll.(D) Num 36:2 καὶ εἶπαν τῷ κυρίῳ ἡμῶν ἐνετείλατο κύριος ἀποδοῦναι τὴν γῆν τῆς κληρονομίας ἐν κλήρῳ τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ καὶ τῷ κυρίῳ συνέταξεν κύριος δοῦναι τὴν κληρονομίαν Σαλπααδ τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ ἡμῶν ταῖς θυγατράσιν αὐτοῦ(lxx) Num 36:2 And they said: "The Lord commanded my lord Moses to give the land as an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel, and my lord was commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of our brother Zelophehad to his daughters.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:3 ============ Num 36:3 But if they marry one of the sons of the other tribes of the sons of Israel, their inheritance will be withdrawn from the inheritance of our fathers and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they belong; thus it will be withdrawn from our allotted inheritance.(nasb) Num 36:3 quas si alterius tribus homines uxores acceperint, sequetur possessio sua, et translata ad aliam tribum, de nostra hæreditate minuetur.(vulgate) Números 36:3 las cuales, si se casaren con algunos de los hijos de las [otras] tribus de los hijos de Israel, la herencia de ellas será quitada de la herencia de nuestros padres, y será añadida a la herencia de la tribu a que serán unidas; y será quitada de la suerte de nuestra heredad.(E) Nombres 36:3 Si elles se marient à l'un des fils d'une autre tribu des enfants d'Israël, leur héritage sera retranché de l'héritage de nos pères et ajouté à celui de la tribu à laquelle elles appartiendront; ainsi sera diminué l'héritage qui nous est échu par le sort.(F) Num 36:3 Wenn sie jemand aus den Stämmen der Kinder Israel zu Weibern nimmt, so wird unserer Väter Erbteil weniger werden, und so viel sie haben, wird zu dem Erbteil kommen des Stammes, dahin sie kommen; also wird das Los unseres Erbteils verringert.(D) Num 36:3 καὶ ἔσονται ἑνὶ τῶν φυλῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ γυναῖκες καὶ ἀφαιρεθήσεται ὁ κλῆρος αὐτῶν ἐκ τῆς κατασχέσεως τῶν πατέρων ἡμῶν καὶ προστεθήσεται εἰς κληρονομίαν τῆς φυλῆς οἷς ἂν γένωνται γυναῖκες καὶ ἐκ τοῦ κλήρου τῆς κληρονομίας ἡμῶν ἀφαιρεθήσεται(lxx) Num 36:3 Now if they are married to any of the sons of the other tribes of the children of Israel, then their inheritance will be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and it will be added to the inheritance of the tribe into which they marry; so it will be taken from the lot of our inheritance.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:4 ============ Num 36:4 When the jubilee of the sons of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe to which they belong; so their inheritance will be withdrawn from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers."(nasb) Num 36:4 Atque ita fiet, ut cum jubilæus, id est, quinquagesimus annus remissionis advenerit, confundatur sortium distributio, et aliorum possessio ad alios transeat.(vulgate) Números 36:4 Y cuando viniere el jubileo de los hijos de Israel, la heredad de ellas será añadida a la heredad de la tribu de sus maridos; y así la heredad de ellas será quitada de la heredad de la tribu de nuestros padres.(E) Nombres 36:4 Et quand viendra le jubilé pour les enfants d'Israël, leur héritage sera ajouté à celui de la tribu à laquelle elles appartiendront, et il sera retranché de celui de la tribu de nos pères.(F) Num 36:4 Wenn nun das Halljahr der Kinder Israel kommt, so wird ihr Erbteil zu dem Erbteil des Stammes kommen, da sie sind; also wird das Erbteil des Stammes unserer Väter verringert, so viel sie haben.(D) Num 36:4 ἐὰν δὲ γένηται ἡ ἄφεσις τῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ καὶ προστεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν κληρονομίαν τῆς φυλῆς οἷς ἂν γένωνται γυναῖκες καὶ ἀπὸ τῆς κληρονομίας φυλῆς πατριᾶς ἡμῶν ἀφαιρεθήσεται ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν(lxx) Num 36:4 And when the Jubilee of the children of Israel comes, then their inheritance will be added to the inheritance of the tribe into which they marry; so their inheritance will be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:5 ============ Num 36:5 Then Moses commanded the sons of Israel according to the word of the Lord, saying, "The tribe of the sons of Joseph are right in their statements.(nasb) Num 36:5 Respondit Moyses filiis Israël et, Domino præcipiente, ait: Recte tribus filiorum Joseph locuta est.(vulgate) Números 36:5 Entonces Moisés mandó a los hijos de Israel por dicho de Jehová, diciendo: La tribu de los hijos de José habla rectamente.(E) Nombres 36:5 Moïse transmit aux enfants d'Israël les ordres de l'Eternel. Il dit: La tribu des fils de Joseph a raison.(F) Num 36:5 Mose gebot den Kindern Israel nach dem Befehl des Herrn und sprach: Der Stamm der Kinder Joseph hat recht geredet.(D) Num 36:5 καὶ ἐνετείλατο Μωυσῆς τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ διὰ προστάγματος κυρίου λέγων οὕτως φυλὴ υἱῶν Ιωσηφ λέγουσιν(lxx) Num 36:5 Then Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of the Lord, saying: "What the tribe of the sons of Joseph speaks is right.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:6 ============ Num 36:6 This is what the Lord has commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, 'Let them marry whom they wish; only they must marry within the family of the tribe of their father.'(nasb) Num 36:6 Et hæc lex super filiabus Salphaad a Domino promulgata est: nubant quibus volunt, tantum ut suæ tribus hominibus:(vulgate) Números 36:6 Esto es lo que ha mandado Jehová acerca de las hijas de Zelofehad, diciendo: Cásense como a ellas les plazca, pero en la familia de la tribu de su padre se casarán;(E) Nombres 36:6 Voici ce que l'Eternel ordonne au sujet des filles de Tselophchad: elles se marieront à qui elles voudront, pourvu qu'elles se marient dans une famille de la tribu de leurs pères.(F) Num 36:6 Das ist's, was der HERR gebietet den Töchtern Zelophehads und spricht: Laß sie freien, wie es ihnen gefällt; allein daß sie freien unter dem Geschlecht des Stammes ihres Vaters,(D) Num 36:6 τοῦτο τὸ ῥῆμα ὃ συνέταξεν κύριος ταῖς θυγατράσιν Σαλπααδ λέγων οὗ ἀρέσκει ἐναντίον αὐτῶν ἔστωσαν γυναῖκες πλὴν ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν ἔστωσαν γυναῖκες(lxx) Num 36:6 "This is what the Lord commands concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, 'Let them marry whom they think best, but they may marry only within the family of their father's tribe.'(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:7 ============ Num 36:7 Thus no inheritance of the sons of Israel shall be transferred from tribe to tribe, for the sons of Israel shall each hold to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.(nasb) Num 36:7 ne commisceatur possessio filiorum Israël de tribu in tribum. Omnes enim viri ducent uxores de tribu et cognatione sua:(vulgate) Números 36:7 para que la heredad de los hijos de Israel no sea traspasada de tribu en tribu; porque cada uno de los hijos de Israel se unirá a la heredad de la tribu de sus padres.(E) Nombres 36:7 Aucun héritage parmi les enfants d'Israël ne passera d'une tribu à une autre tribu, mais les enfants d'Israël s'attacheront chacun à l'héritage de la tribu de ses pères.(F) Num 36:7 auf daß nicht die Erbteile der Kinder Israel fallen von einen Stamm zum andern; denn ein jeglicher unter den Kindern Israel soll anhangen an dem Erbe des Stammes seiner Väter.(D) Num 36:7 καὶ οὐχὶ περιστραφήσεται κληρονομία τοῖς υἱοῖς Ισραηλ ἀπὸ φυλῆς ἐπὶ φυλήν ὅτι ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ κληρονομίᾳ τῆς φυλῆς τῆς πατριᾶς αὐτοῦ προσκολληθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ(lxx) Num 36:7 So the inheritance of the children of Israel shall not change hands from tribe to tribe, for every one of the children of Israel shall keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:8 ============ Num 36:8 Every daughter who comes into possession of an inheritance of any tribe of the sons of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, so that the sons of Israel each may possess the inheritance of his fathers.(nasb) Num 36:8 et cunctæ feminæ de eadem tribu maritos accipient: ut hæreditas permaneat in familiis,(vulgate) Números 36:8 Y cualquiera hija que poseyere heredad de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, con alguno de la familia de la tribu de su padre se casará, para que los hijos de Israel posean cada uno la heredad de sus padres.(E) Nombres 36:8 Et toute fille, possédant un héritage dans les tribus des enfants d'Israël, se mariera à quelqu'un d'une famille de la tribu de son père, afin que les enfants d'Israël possèdent chacun l'héritage de leurs pères.(F) Num 36:8 Und alle Töchter, die Erbteil besitzen unter den Stämmen der Kinder Israel, sollen freien einen von dem Geschlecht des Stammes ihres Vaters, auf daß ein jeglicher unter den Kindern Israel seiner Väter Erbe behalte(D) Num 36:8 καὶ πᾶσα θυγάτηρ ἀγχιστεύουσα κληρονομίαν ἐκ τῶν φυλῶν υἱῶν Ισραηλ ἑνὶ τῶν ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῆς ἔσονται γυναῖκες ἵνα ἀγχιστεύσωσιν οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ ἕκαστος τὴν κληρονομίαν τὴν πατρικὴν αὐτοῦ(lxx) Num 36:8 And every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be the wife of one of the family of her father's tribe, so that the children of Israel each may possess the inheritance of his fathers.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:9 ============ Num 36:9 Thus no inheritance shall be transferred from one tribe to another tribe, for the tribes of the sons of Israel shall each hold to his own inheritance."(nasb) Num 36:9 nec sibi misceantur tribus, sed ita maneant(vulgate) Números 36:9 Y no ande la heredad rodando de una tribu a otra: mas cada una de las tribus de los hijos de Israel se llegue a su heredad.(E) Nombres 36:9 Aucun héritage ne passera d'une tribu à une autre tribu, mais les tribus des enfants d'Israël s'attacheront chacune à son héritage.(F) Num 36:9 und nicht ein Erbteil von einem Stamm falle auf den andern, sondern ein jeglicher hange an seinem Erbe unter den Stämmen der Kinder Israel.(D) Num 36:9 καὶ οὐ περιστραφήσεται κλῆρος ἐκ φυλῆς ἐπὶ φυλὴν ἑτέραν ἀλλὰ ἕκαστος ἐν τῇ κληρονομίᾳ αὐτοῦ προσκολληθήσονται οἱ υἱοὶ Ισραηλ(lxx) Num 36:9 Thus no inheritance shall change hands from one tribe to another, but every tribe of the children of Israel shall keep its own inheritance."(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:10 ============ Num 36:10 Just as the Lord had commanded Moses, so the daughters of Zelophehad did:(nasb) Num 36:10 ut a Domino separatæ sunt. Feceruntque filiæ Salphaad ut fuerat imperatum:(vulgate) Números 36:10 Como Jehová mandó a Moisés, así hicieron las hijas de Zelofehad.(E) Nombres 36:10 Les filles de Tselophchad se conformèrent à l'ordre que l'Eternel avait donné à Moïse.(F) Num 36:10 Wie der HERR dem Mose geboten hatte, so taten die Töchter Zelophehads,(D) Num 36:10 ὃν τρόπον συνέταξεν κύριος Μωυσῇ οὕτως ἐποίησαν θυγατέρες Σαλπααδ(lxx) Num 36:10 Just as the Lord commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad;(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:11 ============ Num 36:11 Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad married their uncles' sons.(nasb) Num 36:11 et nupserunt Maala, et Thersa, et Hegla, et Melcha, et Noa, filiis patrui sui(vulgate) Números 36:11 Y [así] Maala, y Tirsa, y Hogla, y Milca, y Noa, hijas de Zelofehad, se casaron con hijos de sus tíos:(E) Nombres 36:11 Machla, Thirtsa, Hogla, Milca et Noa, filles de Tselophchad, se marièrent aux fils de leurs oncles;(F) Num 36:11 Mahela, Thirza, Hogla, Milka und Noa, und freiten die Kinder ihrer Vettern,(D) Num 36:11 καὶ ἐγένοντο Θερσα καὶ Εγλα καὶ Μελχα καὶ Νουα καὶ Μααλα θυγατέρες Σαλπααδ τοῖς ἀνεψιοῖς αὐτῶν(lxx) Num 36:11 for Mahlah, Tirzah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to the sons of their father's brothers.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:12 ============ Num 36:12 They married those from the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained with the tribe of the family of their father.(nasb) Num 36:12 de familia Manasse, qui fuit filius Joseph: et possessio, quæ illis fuerat attributa, mansit in tribu et familia patris earum.(vulgate) Números 36:12 Se casaron con los de la familia de los hijos de Manasés, hijo de José; y la heredad de ellas quedó en la tribu de la familia de su padre.(E) Nombres 36:12 elles se marièrent dans les familles des fils de Manassé, fils de Joseph, et leur héritage resta dans la tribu de la famille de leur père.(F) Num 36:12 des Geschlechts der Kinder Manasses, des Sohnes Josephs. Also blieb ihr Erbteil an dem Stamm des Geschlechts ihres Vaters.(D) Num 36:12 ἐκ τοῦ δήμου τοῦ Μανασση υἱῶν Ιωσηφ ἐγενήθησαν γυναῖκες καὶ ἐγένετο ἡ κληρονομία αὐτῶν ἐπὶ τὴν φυλὴν δήμου τοῦ πατρὸς αὐτῶν(lxx) Num 36:12 They were married into the families of the children of Manasseh the son of Joseph, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of their father's family.(nkjv) ======= Numbers 36:13 ============ Num 36:13 These are the commandments and the ordinances which the Lord commanded to the sons of Israel through Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.(nasb) Num 36:13 Hæc sunt mandata atque judicia, quæ mandavit Dominus per manum Moysi ad filios Israël, in campestribus Moab supra Jordanem contra Jericho.(vulgate) Números 36:13 Éstos [son] los mandamientos y los estatutos que mandó Jehová por mano de Moisés a los hijos de Israel en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán [frente a] Jericó.(E) Nombres 36:13 Tels sont les commandements et les lois que l'Eternel donna par Moïse aux enfants d'Israël, dans les plaines de Moab, près du Jourdain, vis-à-vis de Jéricho.(F) Num 36:13 Das sind die Gebote und Rechte, die der HERR gebot durch Mose den Kindern Israel auf dem Gefilde der Moabiter am Jordan gegenüber Jericho.(D) Num 36:13 αὗται αἱ ἐντολαὶ καὶ τὰ δικαιώματα καὶ τὰ κρίματα ἃ ἐνετείλατο κύριος ἐν χειρὶ Μωυσῆ ἐπὶ δυσμῶν Μωαβ ἐπὶ τοῦ Ιορδάνου κατὰ Ιεριχω(lxx) Num 36:13 These are the commandments and the judgments which the Lord commanded the children of Israel by the hand of Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan, across from Jericho.(nkjv) top of the page
