He has also set eternity in their heart, yet so that man will not find out the work which God has done from the beginning even to the end.(nasb) Ecl 3:11 Cuncta fecit bona in tempore suo, et mundum tradidit disputationi eorum, ut non inveniat homo opus quod operatus est Deus ab initio usque ad finem.(vulgate) Ecclesiastés 3:11 Todo lo hizo hermoso en su tiempo; y aun puso un mundo en su corazón, de tal manera que no alcance el hombre la obra de Dios desde el principio hasta el fin.(E) Ecclésiaste 3:11 Il fait toute chose bonne en son temps; même il a mis dans leur coeur la pensée de l'éternité, bien que l'homme ne puisse pas saisir l'oeuvre que Dieu fait, du commencement jusqu'à la fin.(F) Ecl 3:11 Er aber tut alles fein zu seiner Zeit und läßt ihr Herz sich ängsten, wie es gehen solle in der Welt; denn der Mensch kann doch nicht treffen das Werk, das Gott tut, weder Anfang noch Ende.(D) Ecl 3:11 σὺν τὰ πάντα ἐποίησεν καλὰ ἐν καιρῷ αὐτοῦ καί γε σὺν τὸν αἰῶνα ἔδωκεν ἐν καρδίᾳ αὐτῶν ὅπως μὴ εὕρῃ ὁ ἄνθρωπος τὸ ποίημα ὃ ἐποίησεν ὁ θεός ἀπ᾽ ἀρχῆς καὶ μέχρι τέλους(lxx) Ecl 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also He has put eternity in their hearts, except that no one can find out the work that God does from beginning to end.(nkjv) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:12 ============ Ecl 3:12 I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and to do good in one's lifetime;(nasb) Ecl 3:12 Et cognovi quod non esset melius nisi lætari, et facere bene in vita sua;(vulgate) Ecclesiastés 3:12 Yo he conocido que no [hay] para ellos cosa mejor que alegrarse, y hacer bien en su vida;(E) Ecclésiaste 3:12 J'ai reconnu qu'il n'y a de bonheur pour eux qu'à se réjouir et à se donner du bien-être pendant leur vie;(F) Ecl 3:12 Darum merkte ich, daß nichts Besseres darin ist denn fröhlich sein und sich gütlich tun in seinem Leben.(D) Ecl 3:12 ἔγνων ὅτι οὐκ ἔστιν ἀγαθὸν ἐν αὐτοῖς εἰ μὴ τοῦ εὐφρανθῆναι καὶ τοῦ ποιεῖν ἀγαθὸν ἐν ζωῇ αὐτοῦ(lxx) Ecl 3:12 I know that nothing is better for them than to rejoice, and to do good in their lives,(nkjv) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:13 ============ Ecl 3:13 moreover, that every man who eats and drinks sees good in all his labor--it is the gift of God.(nasb) Ecl 3:13 omnis enim homo qui comedit et bibit, et videt bonum de labore suo, hoc donum Dei est.(vulgate) Ecclesiastés 3:13 Y también que es don de Dios que todo hombre coma y beba, y goce el bien de toda su labor.(E) Ecclésiaste 3:13 mais que, si un homme mange et boit et jouit du bien-être au milieu de tout son travail, c'est là un don de Dieu.(F) Ecl 3:13 Denn ein jeglicher Mensch, der da ißt und trinkt und hat guten Mut in aller seiner Arbeit, das ist eine Gabe Gottes.(D) Ecl 3:13 καί γε πᾶς ὁ ἄνθρωπος ὃς φάγεται καὶ πίεται καὶ ἴδῃ ἀγαθὸν ἐν παντὶ μόχθῳ αὐτοῦ δόμα θεοῦ ἐστιν(lxx) Ecl 3:13 and also that every man should eat and drink and enjoy the good of all his labor--it is the gift of God.(nkjv) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:14 ============ Ecl 3:14 I know that everything God does will remain forever; there is nothing to add to it and there is nothing to take from it, for God has so worked that men should fear Him.(nasb) Ecl 3:14 Didici quod omnia opera quæ fecit Deus perseverent in perpetuum; non possumus eis quidquam addere, nec auferre, quæ fecit Deus ut timeatur.(vulgate) Ecclesiastés 3:14 Yo he entendido que todo lo que Dios hace será perpetuo: sobre aquello no se añadirá, ni de ello se disminuirá; y lo hace Dios, para que delante de Él teman los hombres.(E) Ecclésiaste 3:14 J'ai reconnu que tout ce que Dieu fait durera toujours, qu'il n'y a rien à y ajouter et rien à en retrancher, et que Dieu agit ainsi afin qu'on le craigne.(F) Ecl 3:14 Ich merkte, daß alles, was Gott tut, das besteht immer: man kann nichts dazutun noch abtun; und solches tut Gott, daß man sich vor ihm fürchten soll.(D) Ecl 3:14 ἔγνων ὅτι πάντα ὅσα ἐποίησεν ὁ θεός αὐτὰ ἔσται εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα ἐπ᾽ αὐτῷ οὐκ ἔστιν προσθεῖναι καὶ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ οὐκ ἔστιν ἀφελεῖν καὶ ὁ θεὸς ἐποίησεν ἵνα φοβηθῶσιν ἀπὸ προσώπου αὐτοῦ(lxx) Ecl 3:14 I know that whatever God does, It shall be forever. Nothing can be added to it, And nothing taken from it. As one dies so dies the other; indeed, they all have the same breath and there is no advantage for man over beast, for all is vanity.(nasb) Ecl 3:19 Idcirco unus interitus est hominis et jumentorum, et æqua utriusque conditio. Sicut moritur homo, sic et illa moriuntur. Surely, they all have one breath; man has no advantage over animals, for all is vanity.(nkjv) ======= Ecclesiastes 3:20 ============ Ecl 3:20 All go to the same place. All came from the dust and all return to the dust.(nasb) Ecl 3:20 et omnia pergunt ad unum locum. For who will bring him to see what will occur after him?(nasb) Ecl 3:22 Et deprehendi nihil esse melius quam lætari hominem in opere suo, et hanc esse partem illius.
