Today's Date: ======= Zechariah 7:1 ============ Zec 7:1 In the fourth year of King Darius, the word of the Lord came to Zechariah on the fourth day of the ninth month, which is Chislev.(nasb) Zec 7:1 Et factum est in anno quarto Darii regis, factum est verbum Domini ad Zachariam, in quarta mensis noni, qui est Casleu.(vulgate) Zacarías 7:1 Y aconteció en el año cuarto del rey Darío, [que] vino palabra de Jehová a Zacarías a los cuatro [días] del mes noveno, [que es] Quisleu;(E) Zacharie 7:1 La quatrième année du roi Darius, la parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Zacharie, le quatrième jour du neuvième mois, qui est le mois de Kisleu.(F) Zec 7:1 Und es geschah im vierten Jahr des Königs Darius, daß des HERRN Wort geschah zu Sacharja am vierten Tage des neunten Monats, welcher heißt Chislev,(D) Zec 7:1 καὶ ἐγένετο ἐν τῷ τετάρτῳ ἔτει ἐπὶ Δαρείου τοῦ βασιλέως ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ζαχαριαν τετράδι τοῦ μηνὸς τοῦ ἐνάτου ὅς ἐστιν Χασελευ(lxx) Zec 7:1 Now in the fourth year of King Darius it came to pass that the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, on the fourth day of the ninth month, Chislev,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:2 ============ Zec 7:2 Now the town of Bethel had sent Sharezer and Regemmelech and their men to seek the favor of the Lord,(nasb) Zec 7:2 Et miserunt ad domum Dei Sarasar et Rogommelech, et viri qui erant cum eo, ad deprecandam faciem Domini:(vulgate) Zacarías 7:2 cuando fue enviado a la casa de Dios, Sarezer, con Regem-melec y sus hombres, a implorar el favor de Jehová,(E) Zacharie 7:2 On avait envoyé de Béthel Scharetser et Réguem-Mélec avec ses gens pour implorer l'Eternel,(F) Zec 7:2 da die zu Beth-El, nämlich Sarezer und Regem-Melech samt ihren Leuten, sandten, zu bitten vor dem HERRN,(D) Zec 7:2 καὶ ἐξαπέστειλεν εἰς Βαιθηλ Σαρασαρ καὶ Αρβεσεερ ὁ βασιλεὺς καὶ οἱ ἄνδρες αὐτοῦ τοῦ ἐξιλάσασθαι τὸν κύριον(lxx) Zec 7:2 when the people sent Sherezer, with Regem-Melech and his men, to the house of God, to pray before the Lord,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:3 ============ Zec 7:3 speaking to the priests who belong to the house of the Lord of hosts, and to the prophets, saying, "Shall I weep in the fifth month and abstain, as I have done these many years?"(nasb) Zec 7:3 ut dicerent sacerdotibus domus Domini exercituum, et prophetis, loquentes: Numquid flendum est mihi in quinto mense, vel sanctificare me debeo, sicut jam feci multis annis?(vulgate) Zacarías 7:3 [y] a hablar a los sacerdotes que [estaban] en la casa de Jehová de los ejércitos, y a los profetas, diciendo: ¿Lloraremos en el mes quinto? ¿Haremos abstinencia como hemos hecho ya algunos años?(E) Zacharie 7:3 et pour dire aux sacrificateurs de la maison de l'Eternel des armées et aux prophètes: Faut-il que je pleure au cinquième mois et que je fasse abstinence, comme je l'ai fait tant d'années?(F) Zec 7:3 und ließen sagen den Priestern, die da waren um das Haus des HERRN Zebaoth, und den Propheten: Muß ich auch noch weinen im fünften Monat und mich enthalten, wie ich solches getan habe nun so viele Jahre?(D) Zec 7:3 λέγων πρὸς τοὺς ἱερεῖς τοὺς ἐν τῷ οἴκῳ κυρίου παντοκράτορος καὶ πρὸς τοὺς προφήτας λέγων εἰσελήλυθεν ὧδε ἐν τῷ μηνὶ τῷ πέμπτῳ τὸ ἁγίασμα καθότι ἐποίησα ἤδη ἱκανὰ ἔτη(lxx) Zec 7:3 and to ask the priests who were in the house of the Lord of hosts, and the prophets, saying, "Should I weep in the fifth month and fast as I have done for so many years?"(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:4 ============ Zec 7:4 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying,(nasb) Zec 7:4 Et factum est verbum Domini exercituum ad me, dicens:(vulgate) Zacarías 7:4 Entonces vino a mí palabra de Jehová de los ejércitos, diciendo:(E) Zacharie 7:4 La parole de l'Eternel des armées me fut adressée, en ces mots:(F) Zec 7:4 Und des HERRN Zebaoth Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(D) Zec 7:4 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου τῶν δυνάμεων πρός με λέγων(lxx) Zec 7:4 Then the word of the Lord of hosts came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:5 ============ Zec 7:5 "Say to all the people of the land and to the priests, 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months these seventy years, was it actually for Me that you fasted?(nasb) Zec 7:5 Loquere ad omnem populum terræ, et ad sacerdotes, dicens: Cum jejunaretis, et plangeretis in quinto et septimo per hos septuaginta annos, numquid jejunium jejunastis mihi?(vulgate) Zacarías 7:5 Habla a todo el pueblo del país, y a los sacerdotes, diciendo: Cuando ayunasteis y llorasteis en el quinto y en el séptimo [mes] estos setenta años, ¿habéis ayunado para mí?(E) Zacharie 7:5 Dis à tout le peuple du pays et aux sacrificateurs: Quand vous avez jeûné et pleuré au cinquième et au septième mois, et cela depuis soixante-dix ans, est-ce pour moi que vous avez jeûné?(F) Zec 7:5 Sage allem Volk im Lande und den Priestern und sprich: Da ihr fastetet und Leid truget im fünften Monat und siebenten Monat diese siebzig Jahre lang, habt ihr mir so gefastet?(D) Zec 7:5 εἰπὸν πρὸς ἅπαντα τὸν λαὸν τῆς γῆς καὶ πρὸς τοὺς ἱερεῖς λέγων ἐὰν νηστεύσητε ἢ κόψησθε ἐν ταῖς πέμπταις ἢ ἐν ταῖς ἑβδόμαις καὶ ἰδοὺ ἑβδομήκοντα ἔτη μὴ νηστείαν νενηστεύκατέ μοι(lxx) Zec 7:5 "Say to all the people of the land, and to the priests: 'When you fasted and mourned in the fifth and seventh months during those seventy years, did you really fast for Me--for Me?(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:6 ============ Zec 7:6 When you eat and drink, do you not eat for yourselves and do you not drink for yourselves?(nasb) Zec 7:6 et cum comedistis et bibistis, numquid non vobis comedistis et vobismetipsis bibistis?(vulgate) Zacarías 7:6 Y cuando comisteis y bebisteis, ¿no comisteis y bebisteis para [vosotros mismos]?(E) Zacharie 7:6 Et quand vous mangez et buvez, n'est-ce pas vous qui mangez et vous qui buvez?(F) Zec 7:6 Oder da ihr aßet und tranket, habt ihr nicht für euch selbst gegessen und getrunken?(D) Zec 7:6 καὶ ἐὰν φάγητε ἢ πίητε οὐχ ὑμεῖς ἔσθετε καὶ ὑμεῖς πίνετε(lxx) Zec 7:6 When you eat and when you drink, do you not eat and drink for yourselves?(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:7 ============ Zec 7:7 Are not these the words which the Lord proclaimed by the former prophets, when Jerusalem was inhabited and prosperous along with its cities around it, and the Negev and the foothills were inhabited?'"(nasb) Zec 7:7 numquid non sunt verba quæ locutus est Dominus in manu prophetarum priorum, cum adhuc Jerusalem habitaretur ut esset opulenta, ipsa et urbes in circuitu ejus, et ad austrum, et in campestribus habitaretur?(vulgate) Zacarías 7:7 ¿No [oiréis] las palabras que proclamó Jehová por medio de los primeros profetas, cuando Jerusalén estaba habitada y quieta, y sus ciudades en sus alrededores, y el Neguev y la llanura estaban habitados?(E) Zacharie 7:7 Ne connaissez-vous pas les paroles qu'a proclamées l'Eternel par les premiers prophètes, lorsque Jérusalem était habitée et tranquille avec ses villes à l'entour, et que le midi et la plaine étaient habités?(F) Zec 7:7 Ist's nicht das, was der HERR predigen ließ durch die vorigen Propheten, da Jerusalem bewohnt war und hatte die Fülle samt ihren Städten umher und Leute wohnen gegen Mittag und in den Gründen?(D) Zec 7:7 οὐχ οὗτοι οἱ λόγοι εἰσίν οὓς ἐλάλησεν κύριος ἐν χερσὶν τῶν προφητῶν τῶν ἔμπροσθεν ὅτε ἦν Ιερουσαλημ κατοικουμένη καὶ εὐθηνοῦσα καὶ αἱ πόλεις αὐτῆς κυκλόθεν καὶ ἡ ὀρεινὴ καὶ ἡ πεδινὴ κατῳκεῖτο(lxx) Zec 7:7 Should you not have obeyed the words which the Lord proclaimed through the former prophets when Jerusalem and the cities around it were inhabited and prosperous, and the South and the Lowland were inhabited?' "(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:8 ============ Zec 7:8 Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah saying,(nasb) Zec 7:8 Et factum est verbum Domini ad Zachariam, dicens:(vulgate) Zacarías 7:8 Y vino palabra de Jehová a Zacarías, diciendo:(E) Zacharie 7:8 La parole de l'Eternel fut adressée à Zacharie, en ces mots:(F) Zec 7:8 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu Sacharja und sprach:(D) Zec 7:8 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρὸς Ζαχαριαν λέγων(lxx) Zec 7:8 Then the word of the Lord came to Zechariah, saying,(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:9 ============ Zec 7:9 "Thus has the Lord of hosts said, 'Dispense true justice and practice kindness and compassion each to his brother;(nasb) Zec 7:9 Hæc ait Dominus exercituum, dicens: Judicium verum judicate, et misericordiam et miserationes facite, unusquisque cum fratre suo.(vulgate) Zacarías 7:9 Así habló Jehová de los ejércitos, diciendo: Juzgad juicio verdadero, y haced misericordia y piedad cada cual con su hermano:(E) Zacharie 7:9 Ainsi parlait l'Eternel des armées: Rendez véritablement la justice, Et ayez l'un pour l'autre de la bonté et de la miséricorde.(F) Zec 7:9 Also sprach der HERR Zebaoth: Richtet recht, und ein jeglicher beweise an seinem Bruder Güte und Barmherzigkeit;(D) Zec 7:9 τάδε λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ κρίμα δίκαιον κρίνατε καὶ ἔλεος καὶ οἰκτιρμὸν ποιεῖτε ἕκαστος πρὸς τὸν ἀδελφὸν αὐτοῦ(lxx) Zec 7:9 "Thus says the Lord of hosts: 'Execute true justice, Show mercy and compassion Everyone to his brother.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:10 ============ Zec 7:10 and do not oppress the widow or the orphan, the stranger or the poor; and do not devise evil in your hearts against one another.'(nasb) Zec 7:10 Et viduam, et pupillum, et advenam, et pauperem nolite calumniari: et malum vir fratri suo non cogitet in corde suo.(vulgate) Zacarías 7:10 No oprimáis a la viuda, ni al huérfano, ni al extranjero, ni al pobre; ni ninguno piense mal en su corazón contra su hermano.(E) Zacharie 7:10 N'opprimez pas la veuve et l'orphelin, l'étranger et le pauvre, Et ne méditez pas l'un contre l'autre le mal dans vos coeurs.(F) Zec 7:10 und tut nicht unrecht den Witwen, Fremdlingen und Armen; und denke keiner wider seinen Bruder etwas Arges in seinem Herzen!(D) Zec 7:10 καὶ χήραν καὶ ὀρφανὸν καὶ προσήλυτον καὶ πένητα μὴ καταδυναστεύετε καὶ κακίαν ἕκαστος τοῦ ἀδελφοῦ αὐτοῦ μὴ μνησικακείτω ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν(lxx) Zec 7:10 Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, The alien or the poor. Let none of you plan evil in his heart Against his brother.'(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:11 ============ Zec 7:11 But they refused to pay attention and turned a stubborn shoulder and stopped their ears from hearing.(nasb) Zec 7:11 Et noluerunt attendere, et averterunt scapulam recedentem, et aures suas aggravaverunt ne audirent.(vulgate) Zacarías 7:11 Pero no quisieron escuchar, antes volvieron la espalda, y taparon sus oídos para no oír;(E) Zacharie 7:11 Mais ils refusèrent d'être attentifs, ils eurent l'épaule rebelle, et ils endurcirent leurs oreilles pour ne pas entendre.(F) Zec 7:11 Aber sie wollten nicht aufmerken und kehrten mir den Rücken zu und verstockten ihre Ohren, daß sie nicht hörten,(D) Zec 7:11 καὶ ἠπείθησαν τοῦ προσέχειν καὶ ἔδωκαν νῶτον παραφρονοῦντα καὶ τὰ ὦτα αὐτῶν ἐβάρυναν τοῦ μὴ εἰσακούειν(lxx) Zec 7:11 "But they refused to heed, shrugged their shoulders, and stopped their ears so that they could not hear.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:12 ============ Zec 7:12 They made their hearts like flint so that they could not hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets; therefore great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.(nasb) Zec 7:12 Et cor suum posuerunt ut adamantem, ne audirent legem, et verba quæ misit Dominus exercituum in spiritu suo per manum prophetarum priorum: et facta est indignatio magna a Domino exercituum.(vulgate) Zacarías 7:12 Y pusieron su corazón [como] diamante, para no oír la ley ni las palabras que Jehová de los ejércitos enviaba por su Espíritu, por medio de los profetas primeros; vino, por tanto, grande ira de parte de Jehová de los ejércitos.(E) Zacharie 7:12 Ils rendirent leur coeur dur comme le diamant, pour ne pas écouter la loi et les paroles que l'Eternel des armées leur adressait par son esprit, par les premiers prophètes. Ainsi l'Eternel des armées s'enflamma d'une grande colère.(F) Zec 7:12 und machten ihre Herzen wie ein Demant, daß sie nicht hörten das Gesetz und die Worte, welche der HERR Zebaoth sandte in seinem Geiste durch die vorigen Propheten. Daher so großer Zorn vom HERRN Zebaoth gekommen ist;(D) Zec 7:12 καὶ τὴν καρδίαν αὐτῶν ἔταξαν ἀπειθῆ τοῦ μὴ εἰσακούειν τοῦ νόμου μου καὶ τοὺς λόγους οὓς ἐξαπέστειλεν κύριος παντοκράτωρ ἐν πνεύματι αὐτοῦ ἐν χερσὶν τῶν προφητῶν τῶν ἔμπροσθεν καὶ ἐγένετο ὀργὴ μεγάλη παρὰ κυρίου παντοκράτορος(lxx) Zec 7:12 Yes, they made their hearts like flint, refusing to hear the law and the words which the Lord of hosts had sent by His Spirit through the former prophets. Thus great wrath came from the Lord of hosts.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:13 ============ Zec 7:13 And just as He called and they would not listen, so they called and I would not listen," says the Lord of hosts;(nasb) Zec 7:13 Et factum est sicut locutus est, et non audierunt: sic clamabunt et non exaudiam, dicit Dominus exercituum.(vulgate) Zacarías 7:13 Y aconteció [que] como Él clamó, y no escucharon, así ellos clamaron, y yo no escuché, dice Jehová de los ejércitos;(E) Zacharie 7:13 Quand il appelait, ils n'ont pas écouté: aussi n'ai-je pas écouté, quand ils ont appelé, dit l'Eternel des armées.(F) Zec 7:13 und es ist also ergangen; gleichwie gepredigt ward, und sie nicht hörten, so wollte ich auch nicht hören, da sie riefen, spricht der HERR Zebaoth.(D) Zec 7:13 καὶ ἔσται ὃν τρόπον εἶπεν καὶ οὐκ εἰσήκουσαν αὐτοῦ οὕτως κεκράξονται καὶ οὐ μὴ εἰσακούσω λέγει κύριος παντοκράτωρ(lxx) Zec 7:13 Therefore it happened, that just as He proclaimed and they would not hear, so they called out and I would not listen," says the Lord of hosts.(nkjv) ======= Zechariah 7:14 ============ Zec 7:14 "but I scattered them with a storm wind among all the nations whom they have not known. Thus the land is desolated behind them so that no one went back and forth, for they made the pleasant land desolate."(nasb) Zec 7:14 Et dispersi eos per omnia regna quæ nesciunt: et terra desolata est ab eis, eo quod non esset transiens et revertens: et posuerunt terram desiderabilem in desertum.(vulgate) Zacarías 7:14 Antes los esparcí con torbellino por todas las naciones que ellos no conocían, y la tierra fue desolada tras ellos, sin quedar quien fuese ni viniese; pues convirtieron en ruinas la tierra deseable.(E) Zacharie 7:14 Je les ai dispersés parmi toutes les nations qu'ils ne connaissaient pas; le pays a été dévasté derrière eux, il n'y a plus eu ni allants ni venants; et d'un pays de délices ils ont fait un désert.(F) Zec 7:14 Also habe ich sie zerstreut unter alle Heiden, die sie nicht kannten, und ist das Land hinter ihnen Wüst geblieben, daß niemand darin wandelt noch wohnt, und ist das edle Land zur Wüstung gemacht.(D) Zec 7:14 καὶ ἐκβαλῶ αὐτοὺς εἰς πάντα τὰ ἔθνη ἃ οὐκ ἔγνωσαν καὶ ἡ γῆ ἀφανισθήσεται κατόπισθεν αὐτῶν ἐκ διοδεύοντος καὶ ἐξ ἀναστρέφοντος καὶ ἔταξαν γῆν ἐκλεκτὴν εἰς ἀφανισμόν(lxx) Zec 7:14 "But I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations which they had not known.
