Today's Date: ======= Matthew 11:1 ============ Mat 11:1 When Jesus had finished giving instructions to His twelve disciples, He departed from there to teach and preach in their cities.(nasb) Mat 11:1 Et factum est, cum consummasset Jesus, præcipiens duodecim discipulis suis, transiit inde ut doceret, et prædicaret in civitatibus eorum.~(vulgate) Mateo 11:1 Y aconteció que cuando Jesús terminó de dar comisión a sus doce discípulos, se fue de allí a enseñar y predicar en las ciudades de ellos.(E) Matthieu 11:1 Lorsque Jésus eut achevé de donner ses instructions à ses douze disciples, il partit de là, pour enseigner et prêcher dans les villes du pays.(F) Mat 11:1 Und es begab sich, da Jesus solch Gebot an seine zwölf Jünger vollendet hatte, ging er von da weiter, zu lehren und zu predigen in ihren Städten.(D) Mat 11:1 καὶ ἐγένετο ὅτε ἐτέλεσεν ὁ ἰησοῦς διατάσσων τοῖς δώδεκα μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ, μετέβη ἐκεῖθεν τοῦ διδάσκειν καὶ κηρύσσειν ἐν ταῖς πόλεσιν αὐτῶν.(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:1 Now it came to pass, when Jesus finished commanding His twelve disciples, that He departed from there to teach and to preach in their cities.(nkjv) ======= Matthew 11:2 ============ Mat 11:2 Now when John, while imprisoned, heard of the works of Christ, he sent word by his disciples(nasb) Mat 11:2 Joannes autem cum audisset in vinculis opera Christi, mittens duos de discipulis suis,(vulgate) Mateo 11:2 Y oyendo Juan en la prisión los hechos de Cristo, envió dos de sus discípulos,(E) Matthieu 11:2 Jean, ayant entendu parler dans sa prison des oeuvres du Christ, lui fit dire par ses disciples:(F) Mat 11:2 Da aber Johannes im Gefängnis die Werke Christi hörte, sandte er seiner Jünger zwei(D) Mat 11:2 ὁ δὲ ἰωάννης ἀκούσας ἐν τῶ δεσμωτηρίῳ τὰ ἔργα τοῦ χριστοῦ πέμψας διὰ τῶν μαθητῶν αὐτοῦ(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:2 And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples(nkjv) ======= Matthew 11:3 ============ Mat 11:3 and said to Him, "Are You the Expected One, or shall we look for someone else?"(nasb) Mat 11:3 ait illi: Tu es, qui venturus es, an alium exspectamus?(vulgate) Mateo 11:3 diciéndole: ¿Eres tú Aquél que había de venir, o esperaremos a otro?(E) Matthieu 11:3 Es-tu celui qui doit venir, ou devons-nous en attendre un autre?(F) Mat 11:3 und ließ ihm sagen: Bist du, der da kommen soll, oder sollen wir eines anderen warten?(D) Mat 11:3 εἶπεν αὐτῶ, σὺ εἶ ὁ ἐρχόμενος ἢ ἕτερον προσδοκῶμεν;(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:3 and said to Him, "Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?"(nkjv) ======= Matthew 11:4 ============ Mat 11:4 Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and report to John what you hear and see:(nasb) Mat 11:4 Et respondens Jesus ait illis: Euntes renuntiate Joanni quæ audistis, et vidistis.(vulgate) Mateo 11:4 Y respondiendo Jesús les dijo: ‹Id, y decid a Juan las cosas que oís y veis.›(E) Matthieu 11:4 Jésus leur répondit: Allez rapporter à Jean ce que vous entendez et ce que vous voyez:(F) Mat 11:4 Jesus antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Gehet hin und saget Johannes wieder, was ihr sehet und höret:(D) Mat 11:4 καὶ ἀποκριθεὶς ὁ ἰησοῦς εἶπεν αὐτοῖς, πορευθέντες ἀπαγγείλατε ἰωάννῃ ἃ ἀκούετε καὶ βλέπετε·(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:4 Jesus answered and said to them, "Go and tell John the things which you hear and see:(nkjv) ======= Matthew 11:5 ============ Mat 11:5 the BLIND RECEIVE SIGHT and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the POOR HAVE THE GOSPEL PREACHED TO THEM.(nasb) Mat 11:5 Cæci vident, claudi ambulant, leprosi mundantur, surdi audiunt, mortui resurgunt, pauperes evangelizantur:(vulgate) Mateo 11:5 ‹Los ciegos ven y los cojos andan, los leprosos son limpiados y los sordos oyen, los muertos son resucitados y a los pobres es predicado el evangelio.›(E) Matthieu 11:5 les aveugles voient, les boiteux marchent, les lépreux sont purifiés, les sourds entendent, les morts ressuscitent, et la bonne nouvelle est annoncée aux pauvres.(F) Mat 11:5 die Blinden sehen und die Lahmen gehen, die Aussätzigen werden rein und die Tauben hören, die Toten stehen auf und den Armen wird das Evangelium gepredigt;(D) Mat 11:5 τυφλοὶ ἀναβλέπουσιν καὶ χωλοὶ περιπατοῦσιν, λεπροὶ καθαρίζονται καὶ κωφοὶ ἀκούουσιν, καὶ νεκροὶ ἐγείρονται καὶ πτωχοὶ εὐαγγελίζονται·(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:5 The blind see and the lame walk; A reed shaken by the wind?(nasb) Mat 11:7 Illis autem abeuntibus, cœpit Jesus dicere ad turbas de Joanne: Quid existis in desertum videre? arundinem vento agitatam?(vulgate) Mateo 11:7 Y yéndose ellos, comenzó Jesús a decir a las multitudes acerca de Juan: ‹¿Qué salisteis a ver al desierto? ¿Una caña sacudida por el viento?›(E) Matthieu 11:7 Comme ils s'en allaient, Jésus se mit à dire à la foule, au sujet de Jean: Qu'êtes-vous allés voir au désert? un roseau agité par le vent?(F) Mat 11:7 Da die hingingen, fing Jesus an, zu reden zu dem Volk von Johannes: Was seid ihr hinausgegangen in die Wüste zu sehen? Wolltet ihr ein Rohr sehen, das der Wind hin und her bewegt?(D) Mat 11:7 τούτων δὲ πορευομένων ἤρξατο ὁ ἰησοῦς λέγειν τοῖς ὄχλοις περὶ ἰωάννου, τί ἐξήλθατε εἰς τὴν ἔρημον θεάσασθαι; κάλαμον ὑπὸ ἀνέμου σαλευόμενον;(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:7 As they departed, Jesus began to say to the multitudes concerning John: "What did you go out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken by the wind?(nkjv) ======= Matthew 11:8 ============ Mat 11:8 But what did you go out to see? A man dressed in soft clothing? Those who wear soft clothing are in kings' palaces!(nasb) Mat 11:8 Sed quid existis videre? hominem mollibus vestitum? Ecce qui mollibus vestiuntur, in domibus regum sunt.(vulgate) Mateo 11:8 ‹¿O qué salisteis a ver? ¿Un hombre cubierto de ropas delicadas? He aquí, los que visten [ropas] delicadas, en las casas de los reyes están.›(E) Matthieu 11:8 Mais, qu'êtes-vous allés voir? un homme vêtu d'habits précieux? Voici, ceux qui portent des habits précieux sont dans les maisons des rois.(F) Mat 11:8 Oder was seid ihr hinausgegangen zu sehen? Wolltet ihr einen Menschen in weichen Kleidern sehen? Siehe, die da weiche Kleider tragen, sind in der Könige Häusern.(D) Mat 11:8 ἀλλὰ τί ἐξήλθατε ἰδεῖν; ἄνθρωπον ἐν μαλακοῖς ἠμφιεσμένον; ἰδοὺ οἱ τὰ μαλακὰ φοροῦντες ἐν τοῖς οἴκοις τῶν βασιλέων εἰσίν.(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:8 But what did you go out to see? Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.(nasb) Mat 11:11 Amen dico vobis, non surrexit inter natos mulierum major Joanne Baptista: qui autem minor est in regno cælorum, major est illo.(vulgate) Mateo 11:11 ‹De cierto os digo: Entre los nacidos de mujer jamás se levantó otro mayor que Juan el Bautista; pero el que es menor en el reino de los cielos, mayor es que él.›(E) Matthieu 11:11 Je vous le dis en vérité, parmi ceux qui sont nés de femmes, il n'en a point paru de plus grand que Jean-Baptiste. Elle ressemble à des enfants assis dans des places publiques, et qui, s'adressant à d'autres enfants,(F) Mat 11:16 Wem soll ich aber dies Geschlecht vergleichen? Es ist den Kindlein gleich, die an dem Markt sitzen und rufen gegen ihre Gesellen(D) Mat 11:16 τίνι δὲ ὁμοιώσω τὴν γενεὰν ταύτην; ὁμοία ἐστὶν παιδίοις καθημένοις ἐν ταῖς ἀγοραῖς ἃ προσφωνοῦντα τοῖς ἑτέροις(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:16 But to what shall I liken this generation? Yet wisdom is vindicated by her deeds."(nasb) Mat 11:19 Venit Filius hominis manducans, et bibens, et dicunt: Ecce homo vorax, et potator vini, publicanorum et peccatorum amicus. Et justificata est sapientia a filiis suis.~(vulgate) Mateo 11:19 ‹Vino el Hijo del Hombre, que come y bebe, y dicen: He aquí un hombre glotón y bebedor de vino, amigo de publicanos y pecadores. Pero la sabiduría es justificada por sus hijos.›(E) Matthieu 11:19 Le Fils de l'homme est venu, mangeant et buvant, et ils disent: C'est un mangeur et un buveur, un ami des publicains et des gens de mauvaise vie. Und die Weisheit muß sich rechtfertigen lassen von ihren Kindern.(D) Mat 11:19 ἦλθεν ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐσθίων καὶ πίνων, καὶ λέγουσιν, ἰδοὺ ἄνθρωπος φάγος καὶ οἰνοπότης, τελωνῶν φίλος καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν. καὶ ἐδικαιώθη ἡ σοφία ἀπὸ τῶν ἔργων αὐτῆς.(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:19 The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, 'Look, a glutton and a winebibber, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!' But wisdom is justified by her children."(nkjv) ======= Matthew 11:20 ============ Mat 11:20 Then He began to denounce the cities in which most of His miracles were done, because they did not repent.(nasb) Mat 11:20 Tunc cœpit exprobrare civitatibus, in quibus factæ sunt plurimæ virtutes ejus, quia non egissent pœnitentiam:(vulgate) Mateo 11:20 Entonces comenzó a reconvenir a las ciudades donde la mayoría de sus milagros habían sido hechos, porque no se habían arrepentido, [diciendo]:(E) Matthieu 11:20 Alors il se mit à faire des reproches aux villes dans lesquelles avaient eu lieu la plupart de ses miracles, parce qu'elles ne s'étaient pas repenties.(F) Mat 11:20 Da fing er an, die Städte zu schelten, in welchen am meisten seiner Taten geschehen waren, und hatten sich doch nicht gebessert:(D) Mat 11:20 τότε ἤρξατο ὀνειδίζειν τὰς πόλεις ἐν αἷς ἐγένοντο αἱ πλεῖσται δυνάμεις αὐτοῦ, ὅτι οὐ μετενόησαν·(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:20 Then He began to rebuke the cities in which most of His mighty works had been done, because they did not repent:(nkjv) ======= Matthew 11:21 ============ Mat 11:21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles had occurred in Tyre and Sidon which occurred in you, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.(nasb) Mat 11:21 Væ tibi Corozain, væ tibi Bethsaida: quia, si in Tyro et Sidone factæ essent virtutes quæ factæ sunt in vobis, olim in cilicio et cinere pœnitentiam egissent.(vulgate) Mateo 11:21 ‹¡Ay de ti, Corazín! ¡Ay de ti, Betsaida! Porque si los milagros hechos en vosotras, se hubiesen hecho en Tiro y en Sidón, hace mucho que se hubieran arrepentido en cilicio y en ceniza.›(E) Matthieu 11:21 Malheur à toi, Chorazin! malheur à toi, Bethsaïda! car, si les miracles qui ont été faits au milieu de vous avaient été faits dans Tyr et dans Sidon, il y a longtemps qu'elles se seraient repenties, en prenant le sac et la cendre.(F) Mat 11:21 Wehe dir Chorazin! Weh dir, Bethsaida! Wären solche Taten zu Tyrus und Sidon geschehen, wie bei euch geschehen sind, sie hätten vorzeiten im Sack und in der Asche Buße getan.(D) Mat 11:21 οὐαί σοι, χοραζίν· οὐαί σοι, βηθσαϊδά· ὅτι εἰ ἐν τύρῳ καὶ σιδῶνι ἐγένοντο αἱ δυνάμεις αἱ γενόμεναι ἐν ὑμῖν, πάλαι ἂν ἐν σάκκῳ καὶ σποδῶ μετενόησαν.(Nestle-Aland) Mat 11:21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida!
