And the border went around to Baalah (which is Kirjath Jearim). (nkjv) Jos 15:9 And the border was drawn from the top of the hill unto the fountain of the water of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border was drawn to Baalah, which is Kirjathjearim:(KJV-1611) Jos 15:9 and the border extended from the top of the mountain unto the fountain of the waters of Nephtoah, and went out to the cities of mount Ephron; and the border extended to Baalah (the same is Kiriath-jearim);(ASV-1901) Jos 15:9 So this border compasseth from the top of the mountaine vnto the fountaine of the water of Nephtoah, & goeth out to the cities of mount Ephron: and this border draweth to Baalah, which is Kiriath-iearim.(Geneva-1560) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jos 15:9 pertransitque a vertice montis usque ad fontem aquæ Nephtoa: et pervenit usque ad vicos montis Ephron: inclinaturque in Baala, quæ est Cariathiarim, id est, urbs silvarum.(Latin-405AD) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jos 15:9 darnach kommt sie von des Berges Spitze zu dem Wasserbrunnen Nephthoa und kommt heraus zu den Städten des Gebirges Ephron und neigt sich gen Baala, das ist Kirjath-Jearim,(Luther-1545) ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jos 15:9 καὶ διεκβάλλει τὸ ὅριον ἀπὸ κορυφῆς τοῦ ὄρους ἐπὶ πηγὴν ὕδατος Ναφθω καὶ διεκβάλλει εἰς τὸ ὄρος Εφρων καὶ ἐξάξει τὸ ὅριον εἰς Βααλ αὕτη ἐστὶν πόλις Ιαριμ (lxx) (Hebrew) 9 ׃15 וְתָאַ֨ר הַגְּב֜וּל מֵרֹ֣אשׁ הָהָ֗ר אֶל־מַעְיַן֙ מֵ֣י נֶפְתּ֔וֹחַ וְיָצָ֖א אֶל־עָרֵ֣י הַר־עֶפְר֑וֹן וְתָאַ֤ר הַגְּבוּל֙ בַּעֲלָ֔ה הִ֖יא קִרְיַ֥ת יְעָרִֽים׃ Joshua ------------------------------- ======= Joshua 15:10 ============ Jos 15:10 The border turned about from Baalah westward to Mount Seir, and continued to the slope of Mount Jearim on the north (that is, Chesalon), and went down to Beth-shemesh and continued through Timnah.(NASB-1995) Jos 15:10 Then the border turned westward from Baalah to Mount Seir, passed along to the side of Mount Jearim on the north (which is Chesalon), went down to Beth Shemesh, and passed on to Timnah.
