ihr sollt euch nicht Male stechen noch kahl scheren über den Augen über einem Toten.(dhs) Deu 14:1 "You are the children of the Lord your God; you shall not cut yourselves nor shave the front of your head for the dead.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:2 ============ Deu 14:2 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.(nas) Deu 14:2 ὅτι λαὸς ἅγιος εἶ κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου καὶ σὲ ἐξελέξατο κύριος ὁ θεός σου γενέσθαι σε αὐτῷ λαὸν περιούσιον ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐθνῶν τῶν ἐπὶ προσώπου τῆς γῆς (lxx) Deu 14:2 quoniam populus sanctus es Domino Deo tuo, et te elegit ut sis ei in populum peculiarem de cunctis gentibus, quæ sunt super terram.(vulgate) 2 ׃14 כִּ֣י עַ֤ם קָדוֹשׁ֙ אַתָּ֔ה לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ וּבְךָ֞ בָּחַ֣ר יְהוָ֗ה לִֽהְי֥וֹת לוֹ֙ לְעַ֣ם סְגֻלָּ֔ה מִכֹּל֙ הָֽעַמִּ֔ים אֲשֶׁ֖ר עַל־פְּנֵ֥י הָאֲדָמָֽה׃ ס Deuteronomy Deu 14:2 Denn du bist ein heiliges Volk dem HERRN, deinem Gott; und der HERR hat dich erwählt, daß du sein Eigentum seist, aus allen Völkern, die auf Erden sind.(dhs) Deu 14:2 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:3 ============ Deu 14:3 "You shall not eat any detestable thing.(nas) Deu 14:3 οὐ φάγεσθε πᾶν βδέλυγμα (lxx) Deu 14:3 Ne comedatis quæ immunda sunt.(vulgate) 3 ׃14 לֹ֥א תֹאכַ֖ל כָּל־תּוֹעֵבָֽה׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:3 Du sollst keine Greuel essen.(dhs) Deu 14:3 "You shall not eat any detestable thing.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:4 ============ Deu 14:4 These are the animals which you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,(nas) Deu 14:4 ταῦτα τὰ κτήνη ἃ φάγεσθε μόσχον ἐκ βοῶν καὶ ἀμνὸν ἐκ προβάτων καὶ χίμαρον ἐξ αἰγῶν (lxx) Deu 14:4 Hoc est animal quod comedere debetis: bovem, et ovem, et capram,(vulgate) 4 ׃14 זֹ֥את הַבְּהֵמָ֖ה אֲשֶׁ֣ר תֹּאכֵ֑לוּ שׁ֕וֹר שֵׂ֥ה כְשָׂבִ֖ים וְשֵׂ֥ה עִזִּֽים׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:4 Das sind aber die Tiere, die ihr essen sollt: Ochs, Schaf, Ziege,(dhs) Deu 14:4 These are the animals which you may eat: the ox, the sheep, the goat,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:5 ============ Deu 14:5 the deer, the gazelle, the roebuck, the wild goat, the ibex, the antelope and the mountain sheep.(nas) Deu 14:5 ἔλαφον καὶ δορκάδα καὶ βούβαλον καὶ τραγέλαφον καὶ πύγαργον ὄρυγα καὶ καμηλοπάρδαλιν (lxx) Deu 14:5 cervum et capream, bubalum, tragelaphum, pygargum, orygem, camelopardalum.(vulgate) 5 ׃14 אַיָּ֥ל וּצְבִ֖י וְיַחְמ֑וּר וְאַקּ֥וֹ וְדִישֹׁ֖ן וּתְא֥וֹ וָזָֽמֶר׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:5 Hirsch, Reh, Büffel, Steinbock, Gemse, Auerochs und Elen;(dhs) Deu 14:5 the deer, the gazelle, the roe deer, the wild goat, the mountain goat, the antelope, and the mountain sheep.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:6 ============ Deu 14:6 Any animal that divides the hoof and has the hoof split in two and chews the cud, among the animals, that you may eat.(nas) Deu 14:6 πᾶν κτῆνος διχηλοῦν ὁπλὴν καὶ ὀνυχιστῆρας ὀνυχίζον δύο χηλῶν καὶ ἀνάγον μηρυκισμὸν ἐν τοῖς κτήνεσιν ταῦτα φάγεσθε (lxx) Deu 14:6 Omne animal, quod in duas partes findit ungulam, et ruminat, comedetis.(vulgate) 6 ׃14 וְכָל־בְּהֵמָ֞ה מַפְרֶ֣סֶת פַּרְסָ֗ה וְשֹׁסַ֤עַת שֶׁ֙סַע֙ שְׁתֵּ֣י פְרָס֔וֹת מַעֲלַ֥ת גֵּרָ֖ה בַּבְּהֵמָ֑ה אֹתָ֖הּ תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:6 und alles Tier, das seine Klauen spaltet und wiederkäut, sollt ihr essen.(dhs) Deu 14:6 And you may eat every animal with cloven hooves, having the hoof split into two parts, and that chews the cud, among the animals.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:7 ============ Deu 14:7 Nevertheless, you are not to eat of these among those which chew the cud, or among those that divide the hoof in two: the camel and the rabbit and the shaphan, for though they chew the cud, they do not divide the hoof; they are unclean for you.(nas) Deu 14:7 καὶ ταῦτα οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπὸ τῶν ἀναγόντων μηρυκισμὸν καὶ ἀπὸ τῶν διχηλούντων τὰς ὁπλὰς καὶ ὀνυχιζόντων ὀνυχιστῆρας τὸν κάμηλον καὶ δασύποδα καὶ χοιρογρύλλιον ὅτι ἀνάγουσιν μηρυκισμὸν καὶ ὁπλὴν οὐ διχηλοῦσιν ἀκάθαρτα ταῦτα ὑμῖν ἐστιν (lxx) Deu 14:7 De his autem, quæ ruminant, et ungulam non findunt, comedere non debetis, ut camelum, leporem, chœrogryllum: hæc, quia ruminant et non dividunt ungulam, immunda erunt vobis.(vulgate) 7 ׃14 אַ֣ךְ אֶת־זֶ֞ה לֹ֤א תֹֽאכְלוּ֙ מִמּֽ͏ַעֲלֵ֣י הַגֵּרָ֔ה וּמִמַּפְרִיסֵ֥י הַפַּרְסָ֖ה הַשְּׁסוּעָ֑ה אֶֽת־הַ֠גָּמָל וְאֶת־הָאַרְנֶ֨בֶת וְאֶת־הַשָּׁפָ֜ן כִּֽי־מַעֲלֵ֧ה גֵרָ֣ה הֵ֗מָּה וּפַרְסָה֙ לֹ֣א הִפְרִ֔יסוּ טְמֵאִ֥ים הֵ֖ם לָכֶֽם׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:7 Das sollt ihr aber nicht essen von dem, das wiederkäut, und von dem, das die Klauen spaltet: das Kamel, der Hase und Kaninchen, die wiederkäuen und doch ihre Klauen nicht spalten, sollen euch unrein sein;(dhs) Deu 14:7 Nevertheless, of those that chew the cud or have cloven hooves, you shall not eat, such as these: the camel, the hare, and the rock hyrax; for they chew the cud but do not have cloven hooves; they are unclean for you.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:8 ============ Deu 14:8 The pig, because it divides the hoof but does not chew the cud, it is unclean for you. You shall not eat any of their flesh nor touch their carcasses.(nas) Deu 14:8 καὶ τὸν ὗν ὅτι διχηλεῖ ὁπλὴν τοῦτο καὶ ὀνυχίζει ὄνυχας ὁπλῆς καὶ τοῦτο μηρυκισμὸν οὐ μαρυκᾶται ἀκάθαρτον τοῦτο ὑμῖν ἀπὸ τῶν κρεῶν αὐτῶν οὐ φάγεσθε καὶ τῶν θνησιμαίων αὐτῶν οὐχ ἅψεσθε (lxx) Deu 14:8 Sus quoque, quoniam dividat ungulam et non ruminat, immunda erit. Carnibus eorum non vescemini, et cadavera non tangetis.(vulgate) 8 ׃14 וְאֶת־הַ֠חֲזִיר כִּֽי־מַפְרִ֨יס פַּרְסָ֥ה הוּא֙ וְלֹ֣א גֵרָ֔ה טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶ֑ם מִבְּשָׂרָם֙ לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֔לוּ וּבְנִבְלָתָ֖ם לֹ֥א תִגָּֽעוּ׃ ס Deuteronomy Deu 14:8 das Schwein, ob es wohl die Klauen spaltet, so wiederkäut es doch nicht: es soll euch unrein sein. Ihr Fleisch sollt ihr nicht essen, und ihr Aas sollt ihr nicht anrühren,(dhs) Deu 14:8 Also the swine is unclean for you, because it has cloven hooves, yet does not chew the cud; you shall not eat their flesh or touch their dead carcasses.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:9 ============ Deu 14:9 "These you may eat of all that are in water: anything that has fins and scales you may eat,(nas) Deu 14:9 καὶ ταῦτα φάγεσθε ἀπὸ πάντων τῶν ἐν τοῖς ὕδασιν πάντα ὅσα ἐστὶν ἐν αὐτοῖς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες φάγεσθε (lxx) Deu 14:9 Hæc comedetis ex omnibus quæ morantur in aquis: quæ habent pinnulas et squamas, comedite:(vulgate) 9 ׃14 אֶת־זֶה֙ תֹּֽאכְל֔וּ מִכֹּ֖ל אֲשֶׁ֣ר בַּמָּ֑יִם כֹּ֧ל אֲשֶׁר־ל֛וֹ סְנַפִּ֥יר וְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂת תֹּאכֵֽלוּ׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:9 Das ist, was ihr essen sollt von allem, das in Wassern ist: alles, was Floßfedern und Schuppen hat, sollt ihr essen.(dhs) Deu 14:9 "These you may eat of all that are in the waters: you may eat all that have fins and scales.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:10 ============ Deu 14:10 but anything that does not have fins and scales you shall not eat; it is unclean for you.(nas) Deu 14:10 καὶ πάντα ὅσα οὐκ ἔστιν αὐτοῖς πτερύγια καὶ λεπίδες οὐ φάγεσθε ἀκάθαρτα ὑμῖν ἐστιν (lxx) Deu 14:10 quæ absque pinnulis et squamis sunt, ne comedatis, quia immunda sunt.(vulgate) 10 ׃14 וְכֹ֨ל אֲשֶׁ֧ר אֵֽין־ל֛וֹ סְנַפִּ֥יר וְקַשְׂקֶ֖שֶׂת לֹ֣א תֹאכֵ֑לוּ טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶֽם׃ ס Deuteronomy Deu 14:10 Was aber keine Floßfedern noch Schuppen hat, sollt ihr nicht essen; they shall not be eaten.(nas) Deu 14:19 πάντα τὰ ἑρπετὰ τῶν πετεινῶν ἀκάθαρτα ταῦτά ἐστιν ὑμῖν οὐ φάγεσθε ἀπ᾽ αὐτῶν (lxx) Deu 14:19 Et omne quod reptat et pennulas habet, immundum erit, et non comedetur.(vulgate) 19 ׃14 וְכֹל֙ שֶׁ֣רֶץ הָע֔וֹף טָמֵ֥א ה֖וּא לָכֶ֑ם לֹ֖א יֵאָכֵֽלוּ׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:19 Und alles was Flügel hat und kriecht, soll euch unrein sein, und sollt es nicht essen.(dhs) Deu 14:19 Also every creeping thing that flies is unclean for you; You may give it to the alien who is in your town, so that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner, for you are a holy people to the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother's milk.(nas) Deu 14:21 πᾶν θνησιμαῖον οὐ φάγεσθε τῷ παροίκῳ τῷ ἐν ταῖς πόλεσίν σου δοθήσεται καὶ φάγεται ἢ ἀποδώσῃ τῷ ἀλλοτρίῳ ὅτι λαὸς ἅγιος εἶ κυρίῳ τῷ θεῷ σου οὐχ ἑψήσεις ἄρνα ἐν γάλακτι μητρὸς αὐτοῦ (lxx) Deu 14:21 Quidquid autem morticinum est, ne vescamini ex eo. Peregrino, qui intra portas tuas est, da ut comedat, aut vende ei: quia tu populus sanctus Domini Dei tui es. Non coques hædum in lacte matris suæ.~(vulgate) 21 ׃14 לֹ֣א תֹאכְל֣וּ כָל־נְ֠בֵלָה לַגֵּ֨ר אֲשֶׁר־בִּשְׁעָרֶ֜יךָ תִּתְּנֶ֣נָּה וַאֲכָלָ֗הּ א֤וֹ מָכֹר֙ לְנָכְרִ֔י כִּ֣י עַ֤ם קָדוֹשׁ֙ אַתָּ֔ה לַיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהֶ֑יךָ לֹֽא־תְבַשֵּׁ֥ל גְּדִ֖י בַּחֲלֵ֥ב אִמּֽוֹ׃ פ Deuteronomy Deu 14:21 Ihr sollt kein Aas essen-dem Fremdling in deinem Tor magst du es geben, daß er's esse oder daß er's verkaufe einem Ausländer; denn du bist ein heiliges Volk dem HERRN, deinem Gott. Du sollst das Böcklein nicht kochen in der Milch seiner Mutter.(dhs) Deu 14:21 "You shall not eat anything that dies of itself; you may give it to the alien who is within your gates, that he may eat it, or you may sell it to a foreigner; for you are a holy people to the Lord your God. You shall not boil a young goat in its mother's milk.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:22 ============ Deu 14:22 "You shall surely tithe all the produce from what you sow, which comes out of the field every year.(nas) Deu 14:22 δεκάτην ἀποδεκατώσεις παντὸς γενήματος τοῦ σπέρματός σου τὸ γένημα τοῦ ἀγροῦ σου ἐνιαυτὸν κατ᾽ ἐνιαυτόν (lxx) Deu 14:22 Decimam partem separabis de cunctis fructibus tuis qui nascuntur in terra per annos singulos,(vulgate) 22 ׃14 עַשֵּׂ֣ר תְּעַשֵּׂ֔ר אֵ֖ת כָּל־תְּבוּאַ֣ת זַרְעֶ֑ךָ הַיֹּצֵ֥א הַשָּׂדֶ֖ה שָׁנָ֥ה שָׁנָֽה׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:22 Du sollst alle Jahre den Zehnten absondern alles Ertrages deiner Saat, der aus deinem Acker kommt,(dhs) Deu 14:22 "You shall truly tithe all the increase of your grain that the field produces year by year.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:23 ============ Deu 14:23 You shall eat in the presence of the Lord your God, at the place where He chooses to establish His name, the tithe of your grain, your new wine, your oil, and the firstborn of your herd and your flock, so that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always.(nas) Deu 14:23 καὶ φάγῃ αὐτὸ ἔναντι κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ σου ἐν τῷ τόπῳ ᾧ ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθῆναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ οἴσετε τὰ ἐπιδέκατα τοῦ σίτου σου καὶ τοῦ οἴνου σου καὶ τοῦ ἐλαίου σου τὰ πρωτότοκα τῶν βοῶν σου καὶ τῶν προβάτων σου ἵνα μάθῃς φοβεῖσθαι κύριον τὸν θεόν σου πάσας τὰς ἡμέρας (lxx) Deu 14:23 et comedes in conspectu Domini Dei tui in loco quem elegerit, ut in eo nomen illius invocetur, decimam frumenti tui, et vini, et olei, et primogenita de armentis et ovibus tuis: ut discas timere Dominum Deum tuum omni tempore.(vulgate) 23 ׃14 וְאָכַלְתָּ֞ לִפְנֵ֣י ׀ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ בַּמָּק֣וֹם אֲשֶׁר־יִבְחַר֮ לְשַׁכֵּ֣ן שְׁמ֣וֹ שָׁם֒ מַעְשַׂ֤ר דְּגָֽנְךָ֙ תִּֽירֹשְׁךָ֣ וְיִצְהָרֶ֔ךָ וּבְכֹרֹ֥ת בְּקָרְךָ֖ וְצֹאנֶ֑ךָ לְמַ֣עַן תִּלְמַ֗ד לְיִרְאָ֛ה אֶת־יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ כָּל־הַיָּמִֽים׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:23 und sollst davon essen vor dem HERRN, deinem Gott, an dem Ort, den er erwählt, daß sein Name daselbst wohne, nämlich vom Zehnten deines Getreides, deines Mostes, deines Öls und von der Erstgeburt deiner Rinder und deiner Schafe, auf daß du lernst fürchten den HERRN, deinen Gott, dein Leben lang.(dhs) Deu 14:23 And you shall eat before the Lord your God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, of the firstborn of your herds and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:24 ============ Deu 14:24 If the distance is so great for you that you are not able to bring the tithe, since the place where the Lord your God chooses to set His name is too far away from you when the Lord your God blesses you,(nas) Deu 14:24 ἐὰν δὲ μακρὰν γένηται ἀπὸ σοῦ ἡ ὁδὸς καὶ μὴ δύνῃ ἀναφέρειν αὐτά ὅτι μακρὰν ἀπὸ σοῦ ὁ τόπος ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου ἐπικληθῆναι τὸ ὄνομα αὐτοῦ ἐκεῖ ὅτι εὐλογήσει σε κύριος ὁ θεός σου (lxx) Deu 14:24 Cum autem longior fuerit via, et locus quem elegerit Dominus Deus tuus, tibique benedixerit, nec potueris ad eum hæc cuncta portare,(vulgate) 24 ׃14 וְכִֽי־יִרְבֶּ֨ה מִמְּךָ֜ הַדֶּ֗רֶךְ כִּ֣י לֹ֣א תוּכַל֘ שְׂאֵתוֹ֒ כִּֽי־יִרְחַ֤ק מִמְּךָ֙ הַמָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁ֤ר יִבְחַר֙ יְהוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ לָשׂ֥וּם שְׁמ֖וֹ שָׁ֑ם כִּ֥י יְבָרֶכְךָ֖ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶֽיךָ׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:24 Wenn aber des Weges dir zu viel ist, daß du solches hintragen kannst, darum daß der Ort dir zu ferne ist, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählt hat, daß er seinen Namen daselbst wohnen lasse (denn der HERR, dein Gott, hat dich gesegnet):(dhs) Deu 14:24 But if the journey is too long for you, so that you are not able to carry the tithe, or if the place where the Lord your God chooses to put His name is too far from you, when the Lord your God has blessed you,(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:25 ============ Deu 14:25 then you shall exchange it for money, and bind the money in your hand and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses.(nas) Deu 14:25 καὶ ἀποδώσῃ αὐτὰ ἀργυρίου καὶ λήμψῃ τὸ ἀργύριον ἐν ταῖς χερσίν σου καὶ πορεύσῃ εἰς τὸν τόπον ὃν ἂν ἐκλέξηται κύριος ὁ θεός σου αὐτόν (lxx) Deu 14:25 vendes omnia, et in pretium rediges, portabisque manu tua, et proficisceris ad locum quem elegerit Dominus Deus tuus:(vulgate) 25 ׃14 וְנָתַתָּ֖ה בַּכָּ֑סֶף וְצַרְתָּ֤ הַכֶּ֙סֶף֙ בְּיָ֣דְךָ֔ וְהָֽלַכְתָּ֙ אֶל־הַמָּק֔וֹם אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְחַ֛ר יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ בּֽוֹ׃ Deuteronomy Deu 14:25 so gib's hin um Geld und fasse das Geld in deine Hand und gehe an den Ort, den der HERR, dein Gott, erwählt hat,(dhs) Deu 14:25 then you shall exchange it for money, take the money in your hand, and go to the place which the Lord your God chooses.(nkjv) ======= Deuteronomy 14:26 ============ Deu 14:26 You may spend the money for whatever your heart desires: for oxen, or sheep, or wine, or strong drink, or whatever your heart desires;
