Today's Date: ======= Ezekiel 35:1 ============ Eze 35:1 Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me saying,(nas) Eze 35:1 καὶ ἐγένετο λόγος κυρίου πρός με λέγων (lxx) Eze 35:1 Et factus est sermo Domini ad me, dicens:(vulgate) 1 ׃35 וַיְהִ֥י דְבַר־יְהוָ֖ה אֵלַ֥י לֵאמֹֽר׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:1 Und des HERRN Wort geschah zu mir und sprach:(dhs) Eze 35:1 Moreover the word of the Lord came to me, saying,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:2 ============ Eze 35:2 "Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir, and prophesy against it(nas) Eze 35:2 υἱὲ ἀνθρώπου ἐπίστρεψον τὸ πρόσωπόν σου ἐπ᾽ ὄρος Σηιρ καὶ προφήτευσον ἐπ᾽ αὐτὸ (lxx) Eze 35:2 Fili hominis, pone faciem tuam adversum montem Seir, et prophetabis de eo, et dices illi:(vulgate) 2 ׃35 בֶּן־אָדָ֕ם שִׂ֥ים פָּנֶ֖יךָ עַל־הַ֣ר שֵׂעִ֑יר וְהִנָּבֵ֖א עָלָֽיו׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:2 Du Menschenkind, richte dein Angesicht wider das Gebirge Seir und weissage dawider,(dhs) Eze 35:2 "Son of man, set your face against Mount Seir and prophesy against it,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:3 ============ Eze 35:3 and say to it, 'Thus says the Lord God, "Behold, I am against you, Mount Seir, And I will stretch out My hand against you And make you a desolation and a waste.(nas) Eze 35:3 καὶ εἰπόν τάδε λέγει κύριος κύριος ἰδοὺ ἐγὼ ἐπὶ σέ ὄρος Σηιρ καὶ ἐκτενῶ τὴν χεῖρά μου ἐπὶ σὲ καὶ δώσω σε ἔρημον καὶ ἐρημωθήσῃ (lxx) Eze 35:3 [Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Ecce ego ad te, mons Seir: et extendam manum meam super te, et dabo te desolatum atque desertum.(vulgate) 3 ׃35 וְאָמַ֣רְתָּ לּ֗וֹ כֹּ֤ה אָמַר֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה הִנְנִ֥י אֵלֶ֖יךָ הַר־שֵׂעִ֑יר וְנָטִ֤יתִי יָדִי֙ עָלֶ֔יךָ וּנְתַתִּ֖יךָ שְׁמָמָ֥ה וּמְשַׁמָּֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:3 und sprich zu ihm: So spricht der HERR HERR: Siehe, ich will an dich, du Berg Seir, und meine Hand wider dich ausstrecken und will dich gar wüst machen.(dhs) Eze 35:3 and say to it, 'Thus says the Lord God: "Behold, O Mount Seir, I am against you; I will stretch out My hand against you, And make you most desolate;(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:4 ============ Eze 35:4 "I will lay waste your cities And you will become a desolation. Then you will know that I am the Lord.(nas) Eze 35:4 καὶ ταῖς πόλεσίν σου ἐρημίαν ποιήσω καὶ σὺ ἔρημος ἔσῃ καὶ γνώσῃ ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (lxx) Eze 35:4 Urbes tuas demoliar, et tu desertus eris: et scies quia ego Dominus.(vulgate) 4 ׃35 עָרֶ֙יךָ֙ חָרְבָּ֣ה אָשִׂ֔ים וְאַתָּ֖ה שְׁמָמָ֣ה תִֽהְיֶ֑ה וְיָדַעְתָּ֖ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:4 Ich will deine Städte öde machen, daß du sollst zur Wüste werden und erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.(dhs) Eze 35:4 I shall lay your cities waste, And you shall be desolate. Then you shall know that I am the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:5 ============ Eze 35:5 Because you have had everlasting enmity and have delivered the sons of Israel to the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, at the time of the punishment of the end,(nas) Eze 35:5 ἀντὶ τοῦ γενέσθαι σε ἐχθρὰν αἰωνίαν καὶ ἐνεκάθισας τῷ οἴκῳ Ισραηλ δόλῳ ἐν χειρὶ ἐχθρῶν μαχαίρᾳ ἐν καιρῷ ἀδικίας ἐπ᾽ ἐσχάτῳ (lxx) Eze 35:5 Eo quod fueris inimicus sempiternus, et concluseris filios Israël in manus gladii in tempore afflictionis eorum, in tempore iniquitatis extremæ:(vulgate) 5 ׃35 יַ֗עַן הֱי֤וֹת לְךָ֙ אֵיבַ֣ת עוֹלָ֔ם וַתַּגֵּ֥ר אֶת־בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל עַל־יְדֵי־חָ֑רֶב בְּעֵ֣ת אֵידָ֔ם בְּעֵ֖ת עֲוֺ֥ן קֵֽץ׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:5 Darum daß ihr ewige Feindschaft tragt wider die Kinder Israel und triebet sie ins Schwert zur Zeit, da es ihnen übel ging und ihre Missetat zum Ende gekommen war,(dhs) Eze 35:5 "Because you have had an ancient hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the power of the sword at the time of their calamity, when their iniquity came to an end,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:6 ============ Eze 35:6 therefore as I live," declares the Lord God, "I will give you over to bloodshed, and bloodshed will pursue you; since you have not hated bloodshed, therefore bloodshed will pursue you.(nas) Eze 35:6 διὰ τοῦτο ζῶ ἐγώ λέγει κύριος κύριος εἰ μὴν εἰς αἷμα ἥμαρτες καὶ αἷμά σε διώξεται (lxx) Eze 35:6 propterea vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, quoniam sanguini tradam te, et sanguis te persequetur: et cum sanguinem oderis, sanguis persequetur te.(vulgate) 6 ׃35 לָכֵ֣ן חַי־אָ֗נִי נְאֻם֙ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֔ה כִּֽי־לְדָ֥ם אֶעֶשְׂךָ֖ וְדָ֣ם יִרְדֲּפֶ֑ךָ אִם־לֹ֥א דָ֛ם שָׂנֵ֖אתָ וְדָ֥ם יִרְדֲּפֶֽךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:6 darum, so wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, will ich dich auch blutend machen, und du sollst dem Bluten nicht entrinnen; weil du Lust zum Blut hast, sollst du dem Bluten nicht entrinnen.(dhs) Eze 35:6 therefore, as I live," says the Lord God, "I will prepare you for blood, and blood shall pursue you; since you have not hated blood, therefore blood shall pursue you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:7 ============ Eze 35:7 I will make Mount Seir a waste and a desolation and I will cut off from it the one who passes through and returns.(nas) Eze 35:7 καὶ δώσω τὸ ὄρος Σηιρ εἰς ἔρημον καὶ ἠρημωμένον καὶ ἀπολῶ ἀπ᾽ αὐτοῦ ἀνθρώπους καὶ κτήνη (lxx) Eze 35:7 Et dabo montem Seir desolatum atque desertum, et auferam de eo euntem et redeuntem.(vulgate) 7 ׃35 וְנָֽתַתִּי֙ אֶת־הַ֣ר שֵׂעִ֔יר לְשִֽׁמְמָ֖ה וּשְׁמָמָ֑ה וְהִכְרַתִּ֥י מִמֶּ֖נּוּ עֹבֵ֥ר וָשָֽׁב׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:7 Und ich will den Berg Seir wüst und öde machen, daß niemand darauf wandeln noch gehen soll.(dhs) Eze 35:7 Thus I will make Mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it the one who leaves and the one who returns.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:8 ============ Eze 35:8 I will fill its mountains with its slain; on your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines those slain by the sword will fall.(nas) Eze 35:8 καὶ ἐμπλήσω τῶν τραυματιῶν σου τοὺς βουνοὺς καὶ τὰς φάραγγάς σου καὶ ἐν πᾶσι τοῖς πεδίοις σου τετραυματισμένοι μαχαίρᾳ πεσοῦνται ἐν σοί (lxx) Eze 35:8 Et implebo montes ejus occisorum suorum: in collibus tuis, et in vallibus tuis atque in torrentibus, interfecti gladio cadent.(vulgate) 8 ׃35 וּמִלֵּאתִ֥י אֶת־הָרָ֖יו חֲלָלָ֑יו גִּבְעוֹתֶ֤יךָ וְגֵאוֹתֶ֙יךָ֙ וְכָל־אֲפִיקֶ֔יךָ חַלְלֵי־חֶ֖רֶב יִפְּל֥וּ בָהֶֽם׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:8 Und will sein Gebirge und alle Hügel, Täler und alle Gründe voll Toter machen, die durchs Schwert sollen erschlagen daliegen.(dhs) Eze 35:8 And I will fill its mountains with the slain; on your hills and in your valleys and in all your ravines those who are slain by the sword shall fall.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:9 ============ Eze 35:9 I will make you an everlasting desolation and your cities will not be inhabited. Then you will know that I am the Lord.(nas) Eze 35:9 ἐρημίαν αἰώνιον θήσομαί σε καὶ αἱ πόλεις σου οὐ μὴ κατοικηθῶσιν ἔτι καὶ γνώσῃ ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος (lxx) Eze 35:9 In solitudines sempiternas tradam te, et civitates tuæ non habitabuntur: et scietis quia ego Dominus Deus.(vulgate) 9 ׃35 שִֽׁמְמ֤וֹת עוֹלָם֙ אֶתֶּנְךָ֔ וְעָרֶ֖יךָ לֹ֣א *תישבנה **תָשֹׁ֑בְנָה וִֽידַעְתֶּ֖ם כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:9 Ja, zu einer ewigen Wüste will ich dich machen, daß niemand in deinen Städten wohnen soll; und ihr sollt erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.(dhs) Eze 35:9 I will make you perpetually desolate, and your cities shall be uninhabited; then you shall know that I am the Lord.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:10 ============ Eze 35:10 "Because you have said, 'These two nations and these two lands will be mine, and we will possess them, 'although the Lord was there,(nas) Eze 35:10 διὰ τὸ εἰπεῖν σε τὰ δύο ἔθνη καὶ αἱ δύο χῶραι ἐμαὶ ἔσονται καὶ κληρονομήσω αὐτάς καὶ κύριος ἐκεῖ ἐστιν (lxx) Eze 35:10 Eo quod dixeris: Duæ gentes et duæ terræ meæ erunt, et hæreditate possidebo eas, cum Dominus esset ibi:(vulgate) 10 ׃35 יַ֣עַן אֲ֠מָרְךָ אֶת־שְׁנֵ֨י הַגּוֹיִ֜ם וְאֶת־שְׁתֵּ֧י הָאֲרָצ֛וֹת לִ֥י תִהְיֶ֖ינָה וִֽירַשְׁנ֑וּהָ וַֽיהוָ֖ה שָׁ֥ם הָיָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:10 Und darum daß du sprichst: Diese beiden Völker mit beiden Ländern müssen mein werden, und wir wollen sie einnehmen, obgleich der HERR da wohnt,(dhs) Eze 35:10 "Because you have said, 'These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess them,' although the Lord was there,(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:11 ============ Eze 35:11 therefore as I live," declares the Lord God, "I will deal with you according to your anger and according to your envy which you showed because of your hatred against them; so I will make Myself known among them when I judge you.(nas) Eze 35:11 διὰ τοῦτο ζῶ ἐγώ λέγει κύριος καὶ ποιήσω σοι κατὰ τὴν ἔχθραν σου καὶ γνωσθήσομαί σοι ἡνίκα ἂν κρίνω σε (lxx) Eze 35:11 propterea vivo ego, dicit Dominus Deus, quia faciam juxta iram tuam, et secundum zelum tuum, quem fecisti odio habens eos: et notus efficiar per eos, cum te judicavero.(vulgate) 11 ׃35 לָכֵ֣ן חַי־אָ֗נִי נְאֻם֮ אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִה֒ וְעָשִׂ֗יתִי כְּאַפְּךָ֙ וּכְקִנְאָ֣תְךָ֔ אֲשֶׁ֣ר עָשִׂ֔יתָה מִשִּׂנְאָתֶ֖יךָ בָּ֑ם וְנוֹדַ֥עְתִּי בָ֖ם כַּאֲשֶׁ֥ר אֶשְׁפְּטֶֽךָ׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:11 darum, so wahr ich lebe, spricht der HERR HERR, will ich nach deinem Zorn und Haß mit dir umgehen, wie du mit ihnen umgegangen bist aus lauter Haß, und ich will bei ihnen bekannt werden, wenn ich dich gestraft habe.(dhs) Eze 35:11 therefore, as I live," says the Lord God, "I will do according to your anger and according to the envy which you showed in your hatred against them; and I will make Myself known among them when I judge you.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:12 ============ Eze 35:12 Then you will know that I, the Lord, have heard all your revilings which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel saying, 'They are laid desolate; they are given to us for food.'(nas) Eze 35:12 καὶ γνώσῃ ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ἤκουσα τῆς φωνῆς τῶν βλασφημιῶν σου ὅτι εἶπας τὰ ὄρη Ισραηλ ἔρημα ἡμῖν δέδοται εἰς κατάβρωμα (lxx) Eze 35:12 Et scies quia ego Dominus audivi universa opprobria tua quæ locutus es de montibus Israël, dicens: Deserti; nobis ad devorandum dati sunt.(vulgate) 12 ׃35 וְֽיָדַעְתָּ֮ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֣י יְהוָה֒ שָׁמַ֣עְתִּי ׀ אֶת־כָּל־נָאָֽצוֹתֶ֗יךָ אֲשֶׁ֥ר אָמַ֛רְתָּ עַל־הָרֵ֥י יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל לֵאמֹ֣ר ׀ *שממה **שָׁמֵ֑מוּ לָ֥נוּ נִתְּנ֖וּ לְאָכְלָֽה׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:12 Und du sollst erfahren, daß ich, der HERR, all dein Lästern gehört habe, so du geredet hast wider die Berge Israels und gesagt: "Sie sind verwüstet und uns zu verderben gegeben."(dhs) Eze 35:12 Then you shall know that I am the Lord. I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, 'They are desolate; they are given to us to consume.'(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:13 ============ Eze 35:13 And you have spoken arrogantly against Me and have multiplied your words against Me; I have heard it."(nas) Eze 35:13 καὶ ἐμεγαλορημόνησας ἐπ᾽ ἐμὲ τῷ στόματί σου ἐγὼ ἤκουσα (lxx) Eze 35:13 Et insurrexistis super me ore vestro, et derogastis adversum me verba vestra: ego audivi.(vulgate) 13 ׃35 וַתַּגְדִּ֤ילוּ עָלַי֙ בְּפִיכֶ֔ם וְהַעְתַּרְתֶּ֥ם עָלַ֖י דִּבְרֵיכֶ֑ם אֲנִ֖י שָׁמָֽעְתִּי׃ ס Ezekiel Eze 35:13 Und ihr habt euch wider mich gerühmt und heftig wider mich geredet; das habe ich gehört.(dhs) Eze 35:13 Thus with your mouth you have boasted against Me and multiplied your words against Me; I have heard them."(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:14 ============ Eze 35:14 Thus says the Lord God, "As all the earth rejoices, I will make you a desolation.(nas) Eze 35:14 τάδε λέγει κύριος ἐν τῇ εὐφροσύνῃ πάσης τῆς γῆς ἔρημον ποιήσω σε (lxx) Eze 35:14 Hæc dicit Dominus Deus: Lætante universa terra, in solitudinem te redigam:(vulgate) 14 ׃35 כֹּ֥ה אָמַ֖ר אֲדֹנָ֣י יְהוִ֑ה כִּשְׂמֹ֙חַ֙ כָּל־הָאָ֔רֶץ שְׁמָמָ֖ה אֶעֱשֶׂה־לָּֽךְ׃ Ezekiel Eze 35:14 So spricht nun der HERR HERR: Ich will dich zur Wüste machen, daß sich alles Land freuen soll.(dhs) Eze 35:14 Thus says the Lord God: "The whole earth will rejoice when I make you desolate.(nkjv) ======= Ezekiel 35:15 ============ Eze 35:15 As you rejoiced over the inheritance of the house of Israel because it was desolate, so I will do to you. You will be a desolation, O Mount Seir, and all Edom, all of it. Then they will know that I am the Lord."'(nas) Eze 35:15 ἔρημον ἔσῃ ὄρος Σηιρ καὶ πᾶσα ἡ Ιδουμαία ἐξαναλωθήσεται καὶ γνώσῃ ὅτι ἐγώ εἰμι κύριος ὁ θεὸς αὐτῶν (lxx) Eze 35:15 sicuti gavisus es super hæreditatem domus Israël eo quod fuerit dissipata, sic faciam tibi: dissipatus eris, mons Seir, et Idumæa omnis: et scient quia ego Dominus.](vulgate) 15 ׃35 כְּשִׂמְחָ֨תְךָ֜ לְנַחְלַ֧ת בֵּֽית־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל עַ֥ל אֲשֶׁר־שָׁמֵ֖מָה כֵּ֣ן אֶעֱשֶׂה־לָּ֑ךְ שְׁמָמָ֨ה תִֽהְיֶ֤ה הַר־שֵׂעִיר֙ וְכָל־אֱד֣וֹם כֻּלָּ֔הּ וְיָדְע֖וּ כִּֽי־אֲנִ֥י יְהוָֽה׃ פ Ezekiel Eze 35:15 Und wie du dich gefreut hast über das Erbe des Hauses Israel, darum daß es wüst geworden, ebenso will ich mit dir tun, daß der Berg Seir wüst sein muß samt dem ganzen Edom; und sie sollen erfahren, daß ich der HERR bin.(dhs) Eze 35:15 As you rejoiced because the inheritance of the house of Israel was desolate, so I will do to you; you shall be desolate, O Mount Seir, as well as all of Edom--all of it!
