(Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:1 Et iterum intravit Capharnaum post dies,(vulgate) וַיְהִי מִיָּמִים וַיָּשָׁב אֶל־כְּפַר־נַחוּם וְהַקּוֹל נִשְׁמַע לֵאמֹר הִנֵּה הוּא יֹשֵׁב בַּבָּיִת׃ א Mark Mar 2:1 Und über etliche Tage ging er wiederum gen Kapernaum; und es ward ruchbar, daß er im Hause war.(dhs) Mar 2:1 And again He entered Capernaum after some days, and it was heard that He was in the house.(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:2 ============ Mar 2:2 And many were gathered together, so that there was no longer room, not even near the door; and He was speaking the word to them.(nas) Mar 2:2 καὶ συνήχθησαν πολλοὶ ὥστε μηκέτι χωρεῖν μηδὲ τὰ πρὸς τὴν θύραν, καὶ ἐλάλει αὐτοῖς τὸν λόγον. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:2 et auditum est quod in domo esset, et convenerunt multi, ita ut non caperet neque ad januam, et loquebatur eis verbum.(vulgate) וַיִּקָּהֲלוּ אֵלָיו רַבִּים מְהֵרָה עַד־אֲשֶׁר לֹא־נָשָׂא אֹתָם הַמָּקוֹם לַעֲמֹד יַחְדָּו אַף־לְנֹכַח הַפֶּתַח מִחוּץ וַיְדַבֵּר אֲלֵיהֶם אֶת־דְּבָרָיו׃ ב Mark Mar 2:2 Und alsbald versammelten sich viele, also daß sie nicht Raum hatten auch draußen vor der Tür; und er sagte ihnen das Wort.(dhs) Mar 2:2 Immediately many gathered together, so that there was no longer room to receive them, not even near the door. And He preached the word to them.(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:3 ============ Mar 2:3 And they came, bringing to Him a paralytic, carried by four men.(nas) Mar 2:3 καὶ ἔρχονται φέροντες πρὸς αὐτὸν παραλυτικὸν αἰρόμενον ὑπὸ τεσσάρων. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:3 Et venerunt ad eum ferentes paralyticum, qui a quatuor portabatur.(vulgate) וַיָּבֹאוּ אֵלָיו אֲנָשִׁים מְבִיאֵי אִישׁ נְכֵה עֲצָמוֹת וְאַרְבָּעָה נֹשְׂאִים אֹתוֹ׃ ג Mark Mar 2:3 Und es kamen etliche zu ihm, die brachten einen Gichtbrüchigen, von vieren getragen.(dhs) Mar 2:3 Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men.(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:4 ============ Mar 2:4 Being unable to get to Him because of the crowd, they removed the roof above Him; and when they had dug an opening, they let down the pallet on which the paralytic was lying.(nas) Mar 2:4 καὶ μὴ δυνάμενοι προσενέγκαι αὐτῶ διὰ τὸν ὄχλον ἀπεστέγασαν τὴν στέγην ὅπου ἦν, καὶ ἐξορύξαντες χαλῶσι τὸν κράβαττον ὅπου ὁ παραλυτικὸς κατέκειτο. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:4 Et cum non possent offerre eum illi præ turba, nudaverunt tectum ubi erat: et patefacientes submiserunt grabatum in quo paralyticus jacebat.(vulgate) וְכַאֲשֶׁר לֹא יָכְלוּ לָגֶשֶׁת אֵלָיו מֵרֹב הָעָם הֵסִירוּ אֶת־הַגָּג מֵעַל־הַבַּיִת אֲשֶׁר הוּא יֹשֵׁב בּוֹ וַיּוֹרִידוּ דֶרֶךְ שָׁם אֶת־הַמִּשְׁכָּב אֲשֶׁר נְכֵה הָעֲצָמוֹת שָׁכַב עָלָיו׃ ד Mark Mar 2:4 Und da sie nicht konnten zu ihm kommen vor dem Volk, deckten sie das Dach auf, da er war, und gruben's auf und ließen das Bett hernieder, darin der Gichtbrüchige lag.(dhs) Mar 2:4 And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying.(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:5 ============ Mar 2:5 And Jesus seeing their faith said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."(nas) Mar 2:5 καὶ ἰδὼν ὁ ἰησοῦς τὴν πίστιν αὐτῶν λέγει τῶ παραλυτικῶ, τέκνον, ἀφίενταί σου αἱ ἁμαρτίαι. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:5 Cum autem vidisset Jesus fidem illorum, ait paralytico: Fili, dimittuntur tibi peccata tua.(vulgate) כִּרְאוֹת יֵשׁוּעַ אֶת־אֱמוּנָתָם וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־נְכֵה הָעֲצָמוֹת בְּנִי נִסְלְחוּ־לְךָ חָטֹּאתֶיךָ׃ ה Mark Mar 2:5 Da aber Jesus ihren Glauben sah, sprach er zu dem Gichtbrüchigen: Mein Sohn, deine Sünden sind dir vergeben.(dhs) Mar 2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven you."(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:6 ============ Mar 2:6 But some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,(nas) Mar 2:6 ἦσαν δέ τινες τῶν γραμματέων ἐκεῖ καθήμενοι καὶ διαλογιζόμενοι ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις αὐτῶν, (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:6 Erant autem illic quidam de scribis sedentes, et cogitantes in cordibus suis:(vulgate) וַאֲנָשִׁים מִן־הַסּוֹפְרִים יָשְׁבוּ שָׁם מְדַבְּרִים אֶל־לִבָּם לֵאמֹר׃ ו Mark Mar 2:6 Es waren aber etliche Schriftgelehrte, die saßen allda und gedachten in ihrem Herzen:(dhs) Mar 2:6 And some of the scribes were sitting there and reasoning in their hearts,(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:7 ============ Mar 2:7 "Why does this man speak that way? He is blaspheming; who can forgive sins but God alone?"(nas) Mar 2:7 τί οὖτος οὕτως λαλεῖ; βλασφημεῖ· τίς δύναται ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας εἰ μὴ εἷς ὁ θεός; (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:7 Quid hic sic loquitur? blasphemat. Quis potest dimittere peccata, nisi solus Deus?(vulgate) לָמָּה מְדַבֵּר גִּדּוּפִים כָּאֵלֶּה מִי יוּכַל לִסְלֹחַ חֲטָאִים בִּלְתִּי הָאֱלֹהִים לְבַדּוֹ׃ ז Mark Mar 2:7 Wie redet dieser solche Gotteslästerung? Wer kann Sünden vergeben denn allein Gott?(dhs) Mar 2:7 "Why does this Man speak blasphemies like this? Who can forgive sins but God alone?"(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:8 ============ Mar 2:8 Immediately Jesus, aware in His spirit that they were reasoning that way within themselves, said to them, "Why are you reasoning about these things in your hearts?(nas) Mar 2:8 καὶ εὐθὺς ἐπιγνοὺς ὁ ἰησοῦς τῶ πνεύματι αὐτοῦ ὅτι οὕτως διαλογίζονται ἐν ἑαυτοῖς λέγει αὐτοῖς, τί ταῦτα διαλογίζεσθε ἐν ταῖς καρδίαις ὑμῶν; (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:8 Quo statim cognito Jesus spiritu suo, quia sic cogitarent intra se, dicit illis: Quid ista cogitatis in cordibus vestris?(vulgate) וְעַד־מְהֵרָה יָדַע יֵשׁוּעַ בְּרוּחוֹ כִּי־כֵן חָשְׁבוּ בְלִבָּם וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם לָמָּה־זֶּה תֶהְגּוּ כָזֹאת בְּלִבְּכֶם׃ ח Mark Mar 2:8 Und Jesus erkannte alsbald in seinem Geist, daß sie also gedachten bei sich selbst, und sprach zu Ihnen: Was denkt ihr solches in eurem Herzen?(dhs) Mar 2:8 But immediately, when Jesus perceived in His spirit that they reasoned thus within themselves, He said to them, "Why do you reason about these things in your hearts?(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:9 ============ Mar 2:9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven'; or to say, 'Get up, and pick up your pallet and walk'?(nas) Mar 2:9 τί ἐστιν εὐκοπώτερον, εἰπεῖν τῶ παραλυτικῶ, ἀφίενταί σου αἱ ἁμαρτίαι, ἢ εἰπεῖν, ἔγειρε καὶ ἆρον τὸν κράβαττόν σου καὶ περιπάτει; (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:9 Quid est facilius dicere paralytico: Dimittuntur tibi peccata tua: an dicere: Surge, tolle grabatum tuum, et ambula?(vulgate) כִּי מֶה נָקֵל אִם־לֵאמֹר אֶל־נְכֵה הָעֲצָמוֹת נִסְלְחוּ־לְךָ חַטֹּאתֶיךָ אוֹ לֵאמֹר קוּם שָׂא אֶת־מִשְׁכָּבְךָ וְהִתְהַלֵּךְ׃ ט Mark Mar 2:9 Welches ist leichter: zu dem Gichtbrüchigen zu sagen: Dir sind deine Sünden vergeben, oder: Stehe auf, nimm dein Bett und wandle?(dhs) Mar 2:9 Which is easier, to say to the paralytic, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Arise, take up your bed and walk'?(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:10 ============ Mar 2:10 But so that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"-- He said to the paralytic,(nas) Mar 2:10 ἵνα δὲ εἰδῆτε ὅτι ἐξουσίαν ἔχει ὁ υἱὸς τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἀφιέναι ἁμαρτίας ἐπὶ τῆς γῆς _ λέγει τῶ παραλυτικῶ, (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:10 Ut autem sciatis quia Filius hominis habet potestatem in terra dimittendi peccata (ait paralytico),(vulgate) אַךְ לְמַעַן תֵּדְעוּן כִּי יֵשׁ רִשְׁיוֹן לְבֶן־הָאָדָם בָּאָרֶץ לִסְלֹחַ חֲטָאִים אָז אָמַר אֶל־נְכֵה הָעֲצָמוֹת׃ י Mark Mar 2:10 Auf das ihr aber wisset, daß des Menschen Sohn Macht hat, zu vergeben die Sünden auf Erden, (sprach er zu dem Gichtbrüchigen):(dhs) Mar 2:10 But that you may know that the Son of Man has power on earth to forgive sins"--He said to the paralytic,(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:11 ============ Mar 2:11 "I say to you, get up, pick up your pallet and go home."(nas) Mar 2:11 σοὶ λέγω, ἔγειρε ἆρον τὸν κράβαττόν σου καὶ ὕπαγε εἰς τὸν οἶκόν σου. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:11 tibi dico: Surge, tolle grabatum tuum, et vade in domum tuam.(vulgate) הִנֵּה אֲנִי אֹמֵר לָךְ קוּם שָׂא אֶת־מִשְׁכָּבְךָ וְלֶךְ־לְךָ אֶל־בֵּיתֶךָ׃ יא Mark Mar 2:11 Ich sage dir, stehe auf, nimm dein Bett und gehe heim!(dhs) Mar 2:11 I say to you, arise, take up your bed, and go to your house."(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:12 ============ Mar 2:12 And he got up and immediately picked up the pallet and went out in the sight of everyone, so that they were all amazed and were glorifying God, saying, "We have never seen anything like this."(nas) Mar 2:12 καὶ ἠγέρθη καὶ εὐθὺς ἄρας τὸν κράβαττον ἐξῆλθεν ἔμπροσθεν πάντων, ὥστε ἐξίστασθαι πάντας καὶ δοξάζειν τὸν θεὸν λέγοντας ὅτι οὕτως οὐδέποτε εἴδομεν. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:12 Et statim surrexit ille: et, sublato grabato, abiit coram omnibus, ita ut mirarentur omnes, et honorificent Deum, dicentes: Quia numquam sic vidimus.~(vulgate) וַיְמַהֵר וַיָּקָם וַיִּשָּׂא אֶת־מִשְׁכָּבוֹ וַיֵּצֵא לְעֵינֵי כֻלָּם וּפַלָּצוּת אָחֲזָה אֶת־כֻּלָּם וַיִּתְּנוּ כָבוֹד לֵאלֹהִים לֵאמֹר מֵעוֹלָם לֹא־רָאִינוּ כָּזֹאת׃ יב Mark Mar 2:12 Und alsbald stand er auf, nahm sein Bett und ging hinaus vor allen, also daß sie sich entsetzten und priesen Gott und sprachen: Wir haben solches noch nie gesehen.(dhs) Mar 2:12 Immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went out in the presence of them all, so that all were amazed and glorified God, saying, "We never saw anything like this!"(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:13 ============ Mar 2:13 And He went out again by the seashore; and all the people were coming to Him, and He was teaching them.(nas) Mar 2:13 καὶ ἐξῆλθεν πάλιν παρὰ τὴν θάλασσαν· καὶ πᾶς ὁ ὄχλος ἤρχετο πρὸς αὐτόν, καὶ ἐδίδασκεν αὐτούς. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:13 Et egressus est rursus ad mare, omnisque turba veniebat ad eum, et docebat eos.(vulgate) וַיּוֹסֶף וַיֵּצֵא אֶל־שְׂפַת הַיָּם וְכָל־הָעָם בָּאוּ אֵלָיו וַיָּשֶׂם אֶת־תּוֹרָתוֹ לִפְנֵיהֶם׃ יג Mark Mar 2:13 Und er ging wiederum hinaus an das Meer; und alles Volk kam zu ihm, und er lehrte sie.(dhs) Mar 2:13 Then He went out again by the sea; and all the multitude came to Him, and He taught them.(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:14 ============ Mar 2:14 As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting in the tax booth, and He said to him, "Follow Me!" And he got up and followed Him.(nas) Mar 2:14 καὶ παράγων εἶδεν λευὶν τὸν τοῦ ἁλφαίου καθήμενον ἐπὶ τὸ τελώνιον, καὶ λέγει αὐτῶ, ἀκολούθει μοι. καὶ ἀναστὰς ἠκολούθησεν αὐτῶ. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:14 Et cum præteriret, vidit Levi Alphæi sedentem ad telonium, et ait illi: Sequere me. Et surgens secutus est eum.(vulgate) כַּאֲשֶׁר עָבַר מִשָּׁם רָאָה אֶת־לֵוִי בֶּן־חַלְפַי יֹשֵׁב בְּבֵית הַמֶּכֶס וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו לֵךְ אַחֲרָי וַיָּקָם וַיֵּלֶךְ אַחֲרָיו׃ יד Mark Mar 2:14 Und da Jesus vorüberging, sah er Levi, den Sohn des Alphäus, am Zoll sitzen und sprach zu ihm: Folge mir nach! Und er stand auf und folgte ihm nach.(dhs) Mar 2:14 As He passed by, He saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the tax office. And He said to him, "Follow Me." So he arose and followed Him.(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:15 ============ Mar 2:15 And it happened that He was reclining at the table in his house, and many tax collectors and sinners were dining with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many of them, and they were following Him.(nas) Mar 2:15 καὶ γίνεται κατακεῖσθαι αὐτὸν ἐν τῇ οἰκίᾳ αὐτοῦ, καὶ πολλοὶ τελῶναι καὶ ἁμαρτωλοὶ συνανέκειντο τῶ ἰησοῦ καὶ τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ· ἦσαν γὰρ πολλοὶ καὶ ἠκολούθουν αὐτῶ. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:15 Et factum est, cum accumberet in domo illius, multi publicani et peccatores simul discumbebant cum Jesu et discipulis ejus: erant enim multi, qui et sequebantur eum.(vulgate) וַיְהִי בְּשִׁבְתּוֹ עַל־הַלֶּחֶם בְּבֵיתוֹ וַיֵּשְׁבוּ מוֹכְסִים וְחַטָּאִים רַבִּים עִם־יֵשׁוּעַ וְתַלְמִידָיו כִּי רַבִּים הָיוּ אֲשֶׁר הָלְכוּ אַחֲרָיו׃ טו Mark Mar 2:15 Und es begab sich, da er zu Tische saß in seinem Hause, setzten sich viele Zöllner und Sünder zu Tische mit Jesu und seinen Jüngern; denn ihrer waren viele, die ihm nachfolgten.(dhs) Mar 2:15 Now it happened, as He was dining in Levi's house, that many tax collectors and sinners also sat together with Jesus and His disciples; for there were many, and they followed Him.(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:16 ============ Mar 2:16 When the scribes of the Pharisees saw that He was eating with the sinners and tax collectors, they said to His disciples, "Why is He eating and drinking with tax collectors and sinners?"(nas) Mar 2:16 καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς τῶν φαρισαίων ἰδόντες ὅτι ἐσθίει μετὰ τῶν ἁμαρτωλῶν καὶ τελωνῶν ἔλεγον τοῖς μαθηταῖς αὐτοῦ, ὅτι μετὰ τῶν τελωνῶν καὶ ἁμαρτωλῶν ἐσθίει; (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:16 Et scribæ et pharisæi videntes quia manducaret cum publicanis et peccatoribus, dicebant discipulis ejus: Quare cum publicanis et peccatoribus manducat et bibit Magister vester?(vulgate) וַיִּרְאוּ הַסּוֹפְרִים וְהַפְּרוּשִׁים כִּי הוּא אֹכֵל עִם־הַחַטָּאִים וְהַמּוֹכְסִים וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֶל־תַּלְמִידָיו מַדּוּעַ הוּא אֹכֵל וְשֹׁתֵה עִם־הַמּוֹכְסִים וְהַחַטָּאִים׃ טז Mark Mar 2:16 Und die Schriftgelehrten und Pharisäer, da sie sahen, daß er mit den Zöllnern und Sündern aß, sprachen sie zu seinen Jüngern: Warum ißt und trinkt er mit den Zöllnern und Sündern?(dhs) Mar 2:16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw Him eating with the tax collectors and sinners, they said to His disciples, "How is it that He eats and drinks with tax collectors and sinners?"(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:17 ============ Mar 2:17 And hearing this, Jesus said to them, "It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners."(nas) Mar 2:17 καὶ ἀκούσας ὁ ἰησοῦς λέγει αὐτοῖς [ὅτι] οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν οἱ ἰσχύοντες ἰατροῦ ἀλλ᾽ οἱ κακῶς ἔχοντες· οὐκ ἦλθον καλέσαι δικαίους ἀλλὰ ἁμαρτωλούς. (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:17 Hoc audito Jesus ait illis: Non necesse habent sani medico, sed qui male habent: non enim veni vocare justos, sed peccatores.(vulgate) וַיִּשְׁמַע יֵשׁוּעַ וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם הַחֲזָקִים אֵין לָהֶם דָּבָר עִם־הָרֹפֵא כִּי אִם־הַחוֹלִים לֹא־בָאתִי לִקְרֹא לַצַּדִּיקִים לָבֹא אֵלַי כִּי אִם־לַחַטָּאִים לִתְשׁוּבָה׃ יז Mark Mar 2:17 Da das Jesus hörte, sprach er zu ihnen: Die Starken bedürfen keines Arztes, sondern die Kranken. Ich bin gekommen, zu rufen die Sünder zur Buße, und nicht die Gerechten.(dhs) Mar 2:17 When Jesus heard it, He said to them, "Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance."(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:18 ============ Mar 2:18 John's disciples and the Pharisees were fasting; and they came and said to Him, "Why do John's disciples and the disciples of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?"(nas) Mar 2:18 καὶ ἦσαν οἱ μαθηταὶ ἰωάννου καὶ οἱ φαρισαῖοι νηστεύοντες. καὶ ἔρχονται καὶ λέγουσιν αὐτῶ, διὰ τί οἱ μαθηταὶ ἰωάννου καὶ οἱ μαθηταὶ τῶν φαρισαίων νηστεύουσιν, οἱ δὲ σοὶ μαθηταὶ οὐ νηστεύουσιν; (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:18 Et erant discipuli Joannis et pharisæi jejunantes: et veniunt, et dicunt illi: Quare discipuli Joannis et pharisæorum jejunant, tui autem discipuli non jejunant?(vulgate) וְתַלְמִידֵי יוֹחָנָן וְהַפְּרוּשִׁים אֲשֶׁר עִנּוּ בַצּוֹם נַפְשָׁם בָּאוּ וַיֹּאמְרוּ אֵלָיו עַל־מָה תַלְמִידֵי יוֹחָנָן וְהַפְּרוּשִׁים צָמִים וְתַלְמִידֶיךָ לֹא יָצֻמוּ׃ יח Mark Mar 2:18 Und die Jünger des Johannes und der Pharisäer fasteten viel; und es kamen etliche, die sprachen zu ihm: Warum fasten die Jünger des Johannes und der Pharisäer, und deine Jünger fasten nicht?(dhs) Mar 2:18 The disciples of John and of the Pharisees were fasting. Then they came and said to Him, "Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but Your disciples do not fast?"(nkjv) ======= Mark 2:19 ============ Mar 2:19 And Jesus said to them, "While the bridegroom is with them, the attendants of the bridegroom cannot fast, can they? So long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.(nas) Mar 2:19 καὶ εἶπεν αὐτοῖς ὁ ἰησοῦς, μὴ δύνανται οἱ υἱοὶ τοῦ νυμφῶνος ἐν ᾧ ὁ νυμφίος μετ᾽ αὐτῶν ἐστιν νηστεύειν; ὅσον χρόνον ἔχουσιν τὸν νυμφίον μετ᾽ αὐτῶν οὐ δύνανται νηστεύειν· (Nestle-Aland) Mar 2:19 Et ait illis Jesus: Numquid possunt filii nuptiarum, quamdiu sponsus cum illis est, jejunare? Quanto tempore habent secum sponsum, non possunt jejunare.(vulgate) וַיֹּאמֶר אֲלֵיהֶם יֵשׁוּעַ הֲכִי יָצֻמוּ בְּנֵי הַחֲתֻנָּה בְּעוֹד הֶחָתָן עִמָּהֶם כָּל־עוֹד אֲשֶׁר הֶחָתָן בְּתוֹכָם לֹא יוּכְלוּ לָצוּם׃ יט Mark Mar 2:19 Und Jesus sprach zu ihnen: Wie können die Hochzeitsleute fasten, dieweil der Bräutigam bei ihnen ist?
