Today's Date: ======= Luke 15:1 ============ Luk 15:1 Now all the tax collectors and the sinners were coming near Him to listen to Him.(nas) Luk 15:1 ἦσαν δὲ αὐτῶ ἐγγίζοντες πάντες οἱ τελῶναι καὶ οἱ ἁμαρτωλοὶ ἀκούειν αὐτοῦ. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:1 Erant autem appropinquantes ei publicani, et peccatores ut audirent illum.(vulgate) וַיְהִי כַּאֲשֶׁר בָּאוּ לְפָנָיו כָּל־הַמּוֹכְסִים וְהַחַטָּאִים לִשְׁמֹעַ אֹתוֹ׃ א Luke Luk 15:1 Es nahten aber zu ihm allerlei Zöllner und Sünder, daß sie ihn hörten.(dhs) Luk 15:1 Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:2 ============ Luk 15:2 Both the Pharisees and the scribes began to grumble, saying, "This man receives sinners and eats with them."(nas) Luk 15:2 καὶ διεγόγγυζον οἵ τε φαρισαῖοι καὶ οἱ γραμματεῖς λέγοντες ὅτι οὖτος ἁμαρτωλοὺς προσδέχεται καὶ συνεσθίει αὐτοῖς. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:2 Et murmurabant pharisæi, et scribæ, dicentes: Quia hic peccatores recipit, et manducat cum illis.(vulgate) וַיִּלֹּנוּ הַפְּרוּשִׁים וְהַסּוֹפְרִים לֵאמֹר הָאִישׁ הַלָּזֶה פְּנֵי חַטָּאִים הוּא נֹשֵׂא וְאֹכֵל עִמָּהֶם׃ ב Luke Luk 15:2 Und die Pharisäer und Schriftgelehrten murrten und sprachen: Dieser nimmt die Sünder an und isset mit ihnen.(dhs) Luk 15:2 And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, "This Man receives sinners and eats with them."(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:3 ============ Luk 15:3 So He told them this parable, saying,(nas) Luk 15:3 εἶπεν δὲ πρὸς αὐτοὺς τὴν παραβολὴν ταύτην λέγων, (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:3 Et ait ad illos parabolam istam dicens:(vulgate) וַיִּשָּׂא אֲלֵיהֶם אֶת־הַמָּשָׁל הַזֶּה לֵאמֹר׃ ג Luke Luk 15:3 Er sagte aber zu ihnen dies Gleichnis und sprach:(dhs) Luk 15:3 So He spoke this parable to them, saying:(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:4 ============ Luk 15:4 "What man among you, if he has a hundred sheep and has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open pasture and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?(nas) Luk 15:4 τίς ἄνθρωπος ἐξ ὑμῶν ἔχων ἑκατὸν πρόβατα καὶ ἀπολέσας ἐξ αὐτῶν ἓν οὐ καταλείπει τὰ ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα ἐν τῇ ἐρήμῳ καὶ πορεύεται ἐπὶ τὸ ἀπολωλὸς ἕως εὕρῃ αὐτό; (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:4 Quis ex vobis homo, qui habet centum oves, et si perdiderit unam ex illis, nonne dimittit nonaginta novem in deserto, et vadit ad illam quæ perierat, donec inveniat eam?(vulgate) מִי אִישׁ מִכֶּם אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ מֵאָה צֹאן וְאָבְדָה לּוֹ כִּבְשָׂה אַחַת מֵהֶן וְהוּא לֹא יַעֲזֹב אֶת־הַתִּשְׁעִים וָתֵשַׁע בַּמִּדְבָּר לָלֶכֶת וּלְבַקֵּשׁ עַד כִּי־יִמְצָא אֶת־הָאֹבָדֶת׃ ד Luke Luk 15:4 Welcher Mensch ist unter euch, der hundert Schafe hat und, so er der eines verliert, der nicht lasse die neunundneunzig in der Wüste und hingehe nach dem verlorenen, bis daß er's finde?(dhs) Luk 15:4 "What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:5 ============ Luk 15:5 When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.(nas) Luk 15:5 καὶ εὑρὼν ἐπιτίθησιν ἐπὶ τοὺς ὤμους αὐτοῦ χαίρων, (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:5 Et cum invenerit eam, imponit in humeros suos gaudens:(vulgate) וְהָיָה כִּי יִמְצָאֶנָּה יָשִׂישׂ עָלֶיהָ יִשָּׂאֶנָּה בַכָּתֵף׃ ה Luke Luk 15:5 Und wenn er's gefunden hat, so legt er's auf seine Achseln mit Freuden.(dhs) Luk 15:5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:6 ============ Luk 15:6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'(nas) Luk 15:6 καὶ ἐλθὼν εἰς τὸν οἶκον συγκαλεῖ τοὺς φίλους καὶ τοὺς γείτονας λέγων αὐτοῖς, συγχάρητέ μοι, ὅτι εὖρον τὸ πρόβατόν μου τὸ ἀπολωλός. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:6 et veniens domum convocat amicos et vicinos, dicens illis: Congratulamini mihi, quia inveni ovem meam, quæ perierat.(vulgate) וְאֶל־בֵּיתוֹ יָבֹא וְיִקְרָא לְאֹהֲבָיו וְלִשְׁכֵנָיו לֵאמֹר שִׂישׂוּ אִתִּי כִּי מָצָאתִי אֶת־אֲבֵדָתִי אֶת־הַכִּבְשָׂה הַזֹּאת׃ ו Luke Luk 15:6 Und wenn er heimkommt, ruft er seine Freunde und Nachbarn und spricht zu ihnen: Freuet euch mit mir; denn ich habe mein Schaf gefunden, das verloren war.(dhs) Luk 15:6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!'(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:7 ============ Luk 15:7 I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.(nas) Luk 15:7 λέγω ὑμῖν ὅτι οὕτως χαρὰ ἐν τῶ οὐρανῶ ἔσται ἐπὶ ἑνὶ ἁμαρτωλῶ μετανοοῦντι ἢ ἐπὶ ἐνενήκοντα ἐννέα δικαίοις οἵτινες οὐ χρείαν ἔχουσιν μετανοίας. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:7 Dico vobis quod ita gaudium erit in cælo super uno peccatore pœnitentiam agente, quam super nonaginta novem justis, qui non indigent pœnitentia.~(vulgate) וַאֲנִי אֹמֵר לָכֶם כָּכָה תִּרֶב הַשִּׂמְחָה בַּשָּׁמַיִם עַל־חֹטֶא אֶחָד הַשָּׁב מֵחֲטָאָיו מֵעַל־תִּשְׁעִים וְתִשְׁעָה אַנְשֵׁי צֶדֶק אֲשֶׁר אֵין לָהֶם דָּבָר לְהִנָּחֵם עָלָיו׃ ז Luke Luk 15:7 Ich sage euch: Also wird auch Freude im Himmel sein über einen Sünder, der Buße tut, vor neunundneunzig Gerechten, die der Buße nicht bedürfen.(dhs) Luk 15:7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:8 ============ Luk 15:8 "Or what woman, if she has ten silver coins and loses one coin, does not light a lamp and sweep the house and search carefully until she finds it?(nas) Luk 15:8 ἢ τίς γυνὴ δραχμὰς ἔχουσα δέκα, ἐὰν ἀπολέσῃ δραχμὴν μίαν, οὐχὶ ἅπτει λύχνον καὶ σαροῖ τὴν οἰκίαν καὶ ζητεῖ ἐπιμελῶς ἕως οὖ εὕρῃ; (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:8 Aut quæ mulier habens drachmas decem, si perdiderit drachmam unam, nonne accendit lucernam, et everrit domum, et quærit diligenter, donec inveniat?(vulgate) אוֹ מִי הָאִשָּׁה אֲשֶׁר־לָהּ עֲשָׂרָה כֶסֶף וְאֶחָד מֵהֶם נָפַל וְנִסְתָּר מֵעֵינֶיהָ וְהִיא לֹא תַדְלִיק נֵר וּתְפַנֶּה אֶת־הַבַּיִת וּתְחַפֵּשׂ בְּחֵפֶשׂ מְחֻפָּשׂ עַד כִּי־תִמְצָאֶנּוּ׃ ח Luke Luk 15:8 Oder welches Weib ist, die zehn Groschen hat, so sie der einen verliert, die nicht ein Licht anzünde und kehre das Haus und suche mit Fleiß, bis daß sie ihn finde?(dhs) Luk 15:8 "Or what woman, having ten silver coins, if she loses one coin, does not light a lamp, sweep the house, and search carefully until she finds it?(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:9 ============ Luk 15:9 When she has found it, she calls together her friends and neighbors, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the coin which I had lost!'(nas) Luk 15:9 καὶ εὑροῦσα συγκαλεῖ τὰς φίλας καὶ γείτονας λέγουσα, συγχάρητέ μοι, ὅτι εὖρον τὴν δραχμὴν ἣν ἀπώλεσα. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:9 Et cum invenerit convocat amicas et vicinas, dicens: Congratulamini mihi, quia inveni drachmam quam perdideram.(vulgate) וְהָיָה כִּי־תִמְצָא אֹתוֹ תִּקְרָא לְרֵעוֹתֶיהָ וְלִשְׁכֵנוֹתֶיהָ לֵאמֹר שְׂמַחְנָה בְּשִׂמְחָתִי כִּי מָצָאתִי אֶת־אֲבֵדָתִי אֶת הַכָּסֶף׃ ט Luke Luk 15:9 Und wenn sie ihn gefunden hat, ruft sie ihre Freundinnen und Nachbarinnen und spricht: Freuet euch mit mir; denn ich habe meinen Groschen gefunden, den ich verloren hatte.(dhs) Luk 15:9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and neighbors together, saying, 'Rejoice with me, for I have found the piece which I lost!'(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:10 ============ Luk 15:10 In the same way, I tell you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents."(nas) Luk 15:10 οὕτως, λέγω ὑμῖν, γίνεται χαρὰ ἐνώπιον τῶν ἀγγέλων τοῦ θεοῦ ἐπὶ ἑνὶ ἁμαρτωλῶ μετανοοῦντι. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:11 Ait autem: Homo quidam habuit duos filios:(vulgate) וַיֹּסֶף וַיֹּאמַר אִישׁ אֶחָד הָיוּ לוֹ שְׁנֵי בָנִים׃ יא Luke Luk 15:11 Und er sprach: Ein Mensch hatte zwei Söhne.(dhs) Luk 15:11 Then He said: "A certain man had two sons.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:12 ============ Luk 15:12 The younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the share of the estate that falls to me.' So he divided his wealth between them.(nas) Luk 15:12 καὶ εἶπεν ὁ νεώτερος αὐτῶν τῶ πατρί, πάτερ, δός μοι τὸ ἐπιβάλλον μέρος τῆς οὐσίας. ὁ δὲ διεῖλεν αὐτοῖς τὸν βίον. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:12 et dixit adolescentior ex illis patri: Pater, da mihi portionem substantiæ, quæ me contingit. Et divisit illis substantiam.(vulgate) וְהַקָּטֹן מֵהֶם אָמַר אֶל־אָבִיו תְּנָה־לִּי אָבִי חֵלֶק הַנַחֲלָה אֲשֶׁר יִפֹּל לְחֶבְלִי וַיְחַלֵּק לָהֶם אֶת־נְכָסָיו׃ יב Luke Luk 15:12 Und der jüngste unter ihnen sprach zu dem Vater: Gib mir, Vater, das Teil der Güter, das mir gehört. Und er teilte ihnen das Gut.(dhs) Luk 15:12 And the younger of them said to his father, 'Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me.' So he divided to them his livelihood.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:13 ============ Luk 15:13 And not many days later, the younger son gathered everything together and went on a journey into a distant country, and there he squandered his estate with loose living.(nas) Luk 15:13 καὶ μετ᾽ οὐ πολλὰς ἡμέρας συναγαγὼν πάντα ὁ νεώτερος υἱὸς ἀπεδήμησεν εἰς χώραν μακράν, καὶ ἐκεῖ διεσκόρπισεν τὴν οὐσίαν αὐτοῦ ζῶν ἀσώτως. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:13 Et non post multos dies, congregatis omnibus, adolescentior filius peregre profectus est in regionem longinquam, et ibi dissipavit substantiam suam vivendo luxuriose.(vulgate) וְאַחֲרֵי יָמִים אֲחָדִים אָסַף הַבֵּן הַקָּטֹן אֶת־כָּל־אֲשֶׁר לוֹ וַיִּסַּע אֶל־אֶרֶץ רְחוֹקָה וַיְהִי שָׁם לְזוֹלֵל עַד אֲשֶׁר פִּזַּר כָּל־כַּסְפּוֹ׃ יג Luke Luk 15:13 Und nicht lange darnach sammelte der jüngste Sohn alles zusammen und zog ferne über Land; und daselbst brachte er sein Gut um mit Prassen.(dhs) Luk 15:13 And not many days after, the younger son gathered all together, journeyed to a far country, and there wasted his possessions with prodigal living.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:14 ============ Luk 15:14 Now when he had spent everything, a severe famine occurred in that country, and he began to be impoverished.(nas) Luk 15:14 δαπανήσαντος δὲ αὐτοῦ πάντα ἐγένετο λιμὸς ἰσχυρὰ κατὰ τὴν χώραν ἐκείνην, καὶ αὐτὸς ἤρξατο ὑστερεῖσθαι. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:14 Et postquam omnia consummasset, facta est fames valida in regione illa, et ipse cœpit egere.(vulgate) וְאַחֲרֵי אֲשֶׁר בִּלַּע כָּל־אֲשֶׁר הָיָה לוֹ בָּא רָעָב גָּדוֹל בָּאָרֶץ הַהִיא וְהוּא הֵחֵל לִהְיוֹת חֲסַר־לָחֶם׃ יד Luke Luk 15:14 Da er nun all das Seine verzehrt hatte, ward eine große Teuerung durch dasselbe ganze Land, und er fing an zu darben.(dhs) Luk 15:14 But when he had spent all, there arose a severe famine in that land, and he began to be in want.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:15 ============ Luk 15:15 So he went and hired himself out to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.(nas) Luk 15:15 καὶ πορευθεὶς ἐκολλήθη ἑνὶ τῶν πολιτῶν τῆς χώρας ἐκείνης, καὶ ἔπεμψεν αὐτὸν εἰς τοὺς ἀγροὺς αὐτοῦ βόσκειν χοίρους· (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:15 Et abiit, et adhæsit uni civium regionis illius: et misit illum in villam suam ut pasceret porcos.(vulgate) וַיֵּלֶךְ וַיִּסְתַּפַּח בְּאֶחָד מִיּשְׁבֵי הָאָרֶץ הַהִיא וַיִּשְׁלָחֵהוּ הַשָּׂדֶה לִרְעוֹת חֲזִירִים׃ טו Luke Luk 15:15 Und ging hin und hängte sich an einen Bürger des Landes; der schickte ihn auf seinen Acker, die Säue zu hüten.(dhs) Luk 15:15 Then he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:16 ============ Luk 15:16 And he would have gladly filled his stomach with the pods that the swine were eating, and no one was giving anything to him.(nas) Luk 15:16 καὶ ἐπεθύμει χορτασθῆναι ἐκ τῶν κερατίων ὧν ἤσθιον οἱ χοῖροι, καὶ οὐδεὶς ἐδίδου αὐτῶ. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:16 Et cupiebat implere ventrem suum de siliquis, quas porci manducabant: et nemo illi dabat.(vulgate) וַיִּתְאַו לְמַלֵּא אֶת־כְּרֵשׂוֹ חֲרוּבִין מֵאֲשֶׁר יֹאכְלוּן הַחֲזִירִים וּפֹרֵשׂ אֵין לוֹ׃ טז Luke Luk 15:16 Und er begehrte seinen Bauch zu füllen mit Trebern, die die Säue aßen; und niemand gab sie ihm.(dhs) Luk 15:16 And he would gladly have filled his stomach with the pods that the swine ate, and no one gave him anything.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:17 ============ Luk 15:17 But when he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired men have more than enough bread, but I am dying here with hunger!(nas) Luk 15:17 εἰς ἑαυτὸν δὲ ἐλθὼν ἔφη, πόσοι μίσθιοι τοῦ πατρός μου περισσεύονται ἄρτων, ἐγὼ δὲ λιμῶ ὧδε ἀπόλλυμαι. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:17 In se autem reversus, dixit: Quanti mercenarii in domo patris mei abundant panibus, ego autem hic fame pereo!(vulgate) וַיָּשֶׁב אֶל־לִבּוֹ וַיֹּאמַר מָה־רַבּוּ הַשְּׂכִירִים תַּחַת יַד אָבִי אֲשֶׁר לָהֶם לֶחֶם דַּי וְהוֹתֵר וְאָנֹכִי מֵת פֹּה בָּרָעָב׃ יז Luke Luk 15:17 Da schlug er in sich und sprach: Wie viel Tagelöhner hat mein Vater, die Brot die Fülle haben, und ich verderbe im Hunger!(dhs) Luk 15:17 But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:18 ============ Luk 15:18 I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven, and in your sight;(nas) Luk 15:18 ἀναστὰς πορεύσομαι πρὸς τὸν πατέρα μου καὶ ἐρῶ αὐτῶ, πάτερ, ἥμαρτον εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐνώπιόν σου, (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:18 surgam, et ibo ad patrem meum, et dicam ei: Pater, peccavi in cælum, et coram te:(vulgate) אָקוּם אֵלֵךְ אֶל־אָבִי וְאֹמַר אֵלָיו אָבִי חָטָאתִי גַּם־לַשָּׁמַיִם גַּם־לְפָנֶיךָ׃ יח Luke Luk 15:18 Ich will mich aufmachen und zu meinem Vater gehen und zu ihm sagen: Vater, ich habe gesündigt gegen den Himmel und vor dir(dhs) Luk 15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say to him, "Father, I have sinned against heaven and before you,(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:19 ============ Luk 15:19 I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me as one of your hired men."'(nas) Luk 15:19 οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός σου· ποίησόν με ὡς ἕνα τῶν μισθίων σου. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:19 jam non sum dignus vocari filius tuus: fac me sicut unum de mercenariis tuis.(vulgate) קַלֹּתִי מֵהִקָּרֵא בִנְךָ עוֹד שִׂימֵנִי־נָא כְּאַחַד הַשְׂכִירִים בְּבֵיתֶךָ׃ יט Luke Luk 15:19 und bin hinfort nicht mehr wert, daß ich dein Sohn heiße; mache mich zu einem deiner Tagelöhner!(dhs) Luk 15:19 and I am no longer worthy to be called your son. Make me like one of your hired servants." '(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:20 ============ Luk 15:20 So he got up and came to his father. But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and felt compassion for him, and ran and embraced him and kissed him.(nas) Luk 15:20 καὶ ἀναστὰς ἦλθεν πρὸς τὸν πατέρα ἑαυτοῦ. ἔτι δὲ αὐτοῦ μακρὰν ἀπέχοντος εἶδεν αὐτὸν ὁ πατὴρ αὐτοῦ καὶ ἐσπλαγχνίσθη καὶ δραμὼν ἐπέπεσεν ἐπὶ τὸν τράχηλον αὐτοῦ καὶ κατεφίλησεν αὐτόν. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:20 Et surgens venit ad patrem suum. Cum autem adhuc longe esset, vidit illum pater ipsius, et misericordia motus est, et accurrens cecidit super collum ejus, et osculatus est eum.(vulgate) וַיָּקָם וַיָּבֹא אֶל־אָבִיו וְעוֹדֶנּוּ מֵרָחוֹק רָאָה אֹתוֹ אָבִיו וַיִּכָּמְרוּ רַחֲמָיו אֵלָיו וַיָּרָץ וַיִּפֹּל עַל־צַוָּארָיו וְיִּשַּׁק לוֹ׃ כ Luke Luk 15:20 Und er machte sich auf und kam zu seinem Vater. Da er aber noch ferne von dannen war, sah ihn sein Vater, und es jammerte ihn, lief und fiel ihm um seinen Hals und küßte ihn.(dhs) Luk 15:20 And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:21 ============ Luk 15:21 And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no longer worthy to be called your son.'(nas) Luk 15:21 εἶπεν δὲ ὁ υἱὸς αὐτῶ, πάτερ, ἥμαρτον εἰς τὸν οὐρανὸν καὶ ἐνώπιόν σου, οὐκέτι εἰμὶ ἄξιος κληθῆναι υἱός σου. Et cœperunt epulari.(vulgate) כִּי זֶה־בְּנִי מֵת הָיָה וְהִנֵּה הוּא חָי אֹבֵד וְהוּא נִמְצָא אִתָּנוּ וַיָּקוּמוּ כֻלָּם לְהִתְעַלֵּס׃ כד Luke Luk 15:24 denn dieser mein Sohn war tot und ist wieder lebendig geworden; er war verloren und ist gefunden worden. Pater ergo illius egressus, cœpit rogare illum.(vulgate) וַיִּחַר אַפּוֹ וְלֹא אָבָה לָבֹא הַבָּיְתָה וַיֵּצֵא אָבִיו וַיְדַבֵּר עַל־לִבּוֹ׃ כח Luke Luk 15:28 Da ward er zornig und wollte nicht hineingehen. Da ging sein Vater heraus und bat ihn.(dhs) Luk 15:28 But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore his father came out and pleaded with him.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:29 ============ Luk 15:29 But he answered and said to his father, 'Look! For so many years I have been serving you and I have never neglected a command of yours; and yet you have never given me a young goat, so that I might celebrate with my friends;(nas) Luk 15:29 ὁ δὲ ἀποκριθεὶς εἶπεν τῶ πατρὶ αὐτοῦ, ἰδοὺ τοσαῦτα ἔτη δουλεύω σοι καὶ οὐδέποτε ἐντολήν σου παρῆλθον, καὶ ἐμοὶ οὐδέποτε ἔδωκας ἔριφον ἵνα μετὰ τῶν φίλων μου εὐφρανθῶ· (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:29 At ille respondens, dixit patri suo: Ecce tot annis servio tibi, et numquam mandatum tuum præterivi: et numquam dedisti mihi hædum ut cum amicis meis epularer.(vulgate) וַיַּעַן וַיֹּאמֶר אֶל־אָבִיו הִנֵּה זֶה שָׁנִים רַבּוֹת עֲבַדְתִּיךָ וּמֵעוֹדִי לֹא עָבַרְתִּי מִמִּצְוֹתֶיךָ וְעוֹד לֹא־נָתַתָּ לִי גְדִי מִן־הַצֹּאן לֶאֱכֹל וּלְהִתְעַלֵּס עִם־רֵעָי׃ כט Luke Luk 15:29 Er aber antwortete und sprach zum Vater: Siehe, so viel Jahre diene ich dir und habe dein Gebot noch nie übertreten; und du hast mir nie einen Bock gegeben, daß ich mit meinen Freunden fröhlich wäre.(dhs) Luk 15:29 So he answered and said to his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:30 ============ Luk 15:30 but when this son of yours came, who has devoured your wealth with prostitutes, you killed the fattened calf for him.'(nas) Luk 15:30 ὅτε δὲ ὁ υἱός σου οὖτος ὁ καταφαγών σου τὸν βίον μετὰ πορνῶν ἦλθεν, ἔθυσας αὐτῶ τὸν σιτευτὸν μόσχον. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:30 Sed postquam filius tuus hic, qui devoravit substantiam suam cum meretricibus, venit, occidisti illi vitulum saginatum.(vulgate) וּכְבֹא בִנְךָ זֶה רֹעֶה זֹנוֹת אֲשֶׁר הִשְׁחִית אֶת־נַחֲלָתֶךָ זָבַחְתָּ לּוֹ אֶת־עֵגֶל הַמַּרְבֵּק׃ ל Luke Luk 15:30 Nun aber dieser dein Sohn gekommen ist, der sein Gut mit Huren verschlungen hat, hast du ihm ein gemästet Kalb geschlachtet.(dhs) Luk 15:30 But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.'(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:31 ============ Luk 15:31 And he said to him, 'Son, you have always been with me, and all that is mine is yours.(nas) Luk 15:31 ὁ δὲ εἶπεν αὐτῶ, τέκνον, σὺ πάντοτε μετ᾽ ἐμοῦ εἶ, καὶ πάντα τὰ ἐμὰ σά ἐστιν· (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:31 At ipse dixit illi: Fili, tu semper mecum es, et omnia mea tua sunt:(vulgate) וַיֹּאמֶר אֵלָיו בְּנִי הֲלֹא תָמִיד אַתָּה עִמָּדִי וְכֹל אֲשֶׁר־לִי לְךָ הוּא׃ לא Luke Luk 15:31 Er aber sprach zu ihm: Mein Sohn, du bist allezeit bei mir, und alles, was mein ist, das ist dein.(dhs) Luk 15:31 And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.(nkjv) ======= Luke 15:32 ============ Luk 15:32 But we had to celebrate and rejoice, for this brother of yours was dead and has begun to live, and was lost and has been found.'"(nas) Luk 15:32 εὐφρανθῆναι δὲ καὶ χαρῆναι ἔδει, ὅτι ὁ ἀδελφός σου οὖτος νεκρὸς ἦν καὶ ἔζησεν, καὶ ἀπολωλὼς καὶ εὑρέθη. (Nestle-Aland) Luk 15:32 epulari autem, et gaudere oportebat, quia frater tuus hic mortuus erat, et revixit; perierat, et inventus est.(vulgate) אֲבָל נָאוָה לָנוּ לִשְׂמֹחַ וּלְהִתְעַלֵּס כִּי זֶה־אָחִיךָ מֵת הָיָה וְהִנֵּה הוּא חָי אֹבֵד וְהוּא נִמְצָא אִתָּנוּ׃ לב Luke Luk 15:32 Du solltest aber fröhlich und gutes Muts sein; denn dieser dein Bruder war tot und ist wieder lebendig geworden; er war verloren und ist wieder gefunden.(dhs) Luk 15:32 It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'
